In the lush green forests of the Summer Realm, a purple portal opened, prompting small animals to scatter and flee into surrounding bushes. Berries rustled atop the foliage that one particular animal had shot into, but it did not head further away from the glowing light. Rather, it stayed to watch and observe. If this was the woman that his lady had been waiting for...
"Okay, so I think we're..." The redhead looked around, putting her finger on her lip and turning to the brunette. "This is the Summer Realm! I can hear the ocean, even from here. We're a little deep into the forest, but we should be able to get to Lucis by sundown."
The animal that had been watching skittered off, eager to report to his mistress the details of the half-Fae. Ember, however, was more focused on getting her bearings and trying to find some Mirthroot. She had promised Tomoko a tour of Neraides, along with a smoke session, and this was something she was determined to do for her new friend.
"We might be able to find some natural Mirthroot instead of having to spend gold to get it at one of the shops. What do you think so far?"
Upon looking around at the area, Tomoko would find that the trees had an almost ethereal glow to them. The berries looked juicy and inviting, and small red peppers were lining the undersides of certain trees, flame-red. The skies were the bluest of blues and the air smelled of ocean salt, prompting the best memories she had of water to flood into her mind.
"Oh, and uh," Ember said as she began walking through the forest, craning her neck back to look at the brunette. "Make sure to ask me before you eat anything. Some herbs are poisonous."
