After after a perilous trip to the Light Temple, Joseph had made it inside, but before venturing too far inside the boy decided to take a moment to get some respite. If this was anything like the Fire Temple there would be trials that would either cost him his life or grant him an affinity to an element in the universe. Joseph sat down and crossed his legs and pulled his gem of telepathy from his bag, it gave off a faint glow as Joseph placed the crystal beside himself.
He crossed his legs and let himself to enter a meditative trance, allowing his consciousness to shift to the immaterial astral plain. Before long, Joseph found himself emerging in a Yaidratian City. The Half-Saiyan started walking down the street. There weren't too many buildings where he was. The few that were there was two to three stories at most and they had a roundness to them that reminded him of the Capsule Corp buildings that could be found in West City. He reached his senses out to try to find an energy signature that could belong to anyone else occupying this section of the Astral realm. "Hello? Anyone around?" Joseph asked.

Bulma had told her father time and time again that she didn't want to go on the expedition with Capsule Corp. After all, she had a party to attend later that day, and her time would be best spent fixing her hair, scrolling through the latest make-up tutorials on the web, and finding the perfect dress to wear. But, her father had told her that if she didn't come along, she would be forbidden from going to parties until she could pay for it herself. Begrudgingly, the girl had gone along, and returned covered in dark clay and dirt that had taken ages to wash off in the bath.
Yet, she had managed to find something along the way - a small, magenta stone buried in the Earth. It was cool to the touch, regardless of the fact that it had been baking in the hot sun for God knew how long. She had tucked it into her pocket and decided that she would keep it as a souvenir - maybe it would even be able to be made into some cute earrings, she had thought to herself.
Now, back at home and fresh out of the bath, the turquoise-haired woman flopped onto her king-sized bed, and held the gem up to the light. After a few moments of studying it, it began to glitter, and her brows furrowed. In a split second, her bed had disappeared from under her, and she landed in the middle of a street that looked somewhat like the desert she had just left that day!
She opened her mouth, prepared to let out a wail, when she heard a voice calling to her.
"Hello? Anyone around?"
"Me! I'm right here! Help! Where am I? Oh damn, get me OUT of here!"

A boisterous answer signaled that he was in solicitude no longer, the emptiness of space with the buildings being few and far between had her voice echo through the barren city. He turned to the direction of what was apparently a loud woman and listened as she asked where she was and asked to get her out of here. Joseph rocketed off speeding to in a swift sprint that cleared the square block between him and her in a blink and stopping behind the blue-haired heiress. "Hello Maim," Joseph said if she turned around he would greet her with a wave.
"You're in the astral realm," Joseph said. "I never tried making someone leave this realm before but whatever wakes someone from sleeping usual can get them out the astral realm." Joseph looked Bulma up and down. There was something about this woman that looked familiar but he discern what exactly. Joseph felt like he had seen her before but he had no memory of ever meeting this woman.

Bulma looked at the boy who appeared in front of her, eyes wide with confusion, her mind racing to distinguish how she had been in her bedroom one moment and in this strange city the next. Was it the work of the gem she had been holding just moments before, or had she possibly picked up some strange curse from the dig site?
"I'm gonna be sick," she groaned, leaning forward and putting her head in her hands as the kid began to talk about the 'Astral Realm'. "This has gotta be some kinda joke, right?"
She removed her hands from her face slowly, before looking at the boy and staring.
"Hey, kid! You said all I have to do to get outta here is just wake up, right?"
She blinked, and pinched her arm, yelping at the touch.
"I'm not asleep..." She whined. "What do I do? What even is the Astral Realm?"

Joseph wasn't sure what he was should say to the overwrought woman in front of him. He had been a long time since he met someone who came to the astral realm accidently and he never saw someone so overwrought over being inside this plain. "I don't think so, unless someone brought you here as a prank or something," Joseph said. Then the woman questioningly repeated what he said about the way to get out was waking up like one was asleep.
She tried to test it by pinching herself, but to her dismay she remained within the immaterial plain. "I don't know what to tell you, maim. I sort of just develop an intrinsic understanding of how to operate in and leave and enter this place. To my understanding its an incorporeal plain where peoples minds can enter. Some also use it to hold information like memories and there are also the archives that the Keliouxian Scholars keep."
Joseph casually spun around on his nimbus while he thought of possible solutions to ameliorate the woman's situation or at least her mood. "Do you wanna ride on my cloud?" Joseph asked. The nimbus was quite comfy and riding around on it was a passtime that Joseph found rather relaxing, though not just anyone could ride it. One needed to be pure of heart to ride a nimbus cloud and if Bulma didn't fit that she'd simply fall through unless she held on to someone who could ride it like him.
