Shadow's Reach.
It was an old, abandoned fortress that the dark Fae had been hearing one too many rumors about - mostly horror stories whispered by the residents of the planet, but she had also heard hearsay of a magical item that was supposed to increase one's power - very substantially. The castle grounds held the tombs of several important generals, kings, and other nobles who had lived in the city during their time in the world - she hadn't particularly cared much about the details. Still, they had been necessary to listen to so that she could get the information she required. It had taken over an hour of listening to an old woman ramble about everything from her life as a young lady, to her husband, and how he had left her for a forty-something-year-old.
Raven would have slaughtered the female and had come particularly close to doing so - before her better half had begun yelling at her from the depths of their shared consciousness, threatening to never allow her control of their body if she did commit such a crime.
Now, the Fae female had gotten fairly deep into the fortress, and the temperature had began to drop, the air getting heavy with malevolence. She could tell that something here wasn't right - and it made a smirk cross her lips. Shadows were clinging to the corners, seemingly alive and watchful as she continued to move forward, a door at the end of the hall she was traversing. It was ornate and massive, adorned with intricate carvings that depicted harsh, brutal scenes. Raven pushed open the door - her heart was speeding up in her breast, and excitement was flooding into her veins.
As soon as she stepped across the threshold, she could tell she was in the heart of Shadow's Reach. The darkness seemed to cover her like a blanket, and through that darkness, she sensed that she wasn't completely alone... someone else, it seemed, had joined her. Whether it was a specter or not, she didn't much care.
She would be the only one leaving with the artifact, if she could help it.
Charcoal ki leaked from her pores, seeping out and crawling across the floor like an enchanted carpet, and Raven gave a small purr, like a lioness closing in on her prey. She could practically smell the oncoming fight in the air.
"Come on out... I love how you smell. Let me see you."

Shadow's Reach.
Millennia ago a dark castle was built in honor of a man who sought to become a God. The one known as the Dread King commissioned it's construction in the waning days of the Warring States Era several thousand years ago, and it was during such a time that it was said the Dread King conspired with brick builders and sorcerers to ensure his castle remained standing for millennia to come.
He succeeded in his endeavor.
Sukuna existed during the time period, not as the Calamity of legend, but as a human monk. Many people much like himself heard tales of the castle's splendor which had been built with bricks of obsidian, it's facade darker than the shadows of the night. Few gained passage inside of the castle itself save for the Dread King's family and closest advisors.
The Calamity recalled the day he arrived at the castle's gates - it's harrowing structure defied all logic, it stood tall enough to pierce the moon and the heavens above. It was an ancient marvel that withstood the test of time, and now the Calamity would revisit it to secure an artifact he knew all too well. An artifact that was said to hold the power of forsaken spirits, demonic energies that drew from the primordial plane.
Sukuna was aware of the artifact, for he was the one that had created it all those years ago.
In order for him to gain the power that he so desperately craved it was imperative that he traversed the castle walls and sought the artifact for himself. The only issue was - it could have been anywhere, and the abyssal castle grounds was large. Canvasing it would be a daunting task for any man, but thankfully Sukuna was more than just a normal man.
Like a wraith he blitzed through the hallways, expanding his senses to hone onto the spiritual essence of the artifact. He was getting closer, he could feel it - it called out to him like a beacon.
Oh?
He sensed another presence. Malevolent in nature yet simultaneously ethereal, spiritual, a presence not of this plane.
No matter, Sukuna thought, he would deal with that distraction later.
Little did he know it would be far sooner than later.
The Calamity entered a room within a long dark cooridor that had been adorned with paintings of a bygone era, one such portrait of the Dread King himself leading his armies to battle.
Sukuna pushed the door open and found himself surrounded by shadows. Absolute darkness. His senses were sharp enough to pierce the veil of shadows yet the darkness that surrounded him was enough to give even a creature such as himself a momentary lapse - he had to be given a moment for his senses to adjust.
A tendril of charcoal energy caressed his ankle, and Sukuna's grin grew wide. The presence had arrived.
"Come on out... I love how you smell. Let me see you."
Sukuna complied, generating a ball of fire above his index finger to illuminate the darkness, chasing away the shadows in the process.
His crimson eyes appraised the woman before him - his grin ever present on his visage.
"Oh? What do we have here?" He'd recognize her ilk anywhere - she could not hide her nature from him.
"A Fae? It's rare to see your kind outside of your realm," Sukuna stated plainly. A run-in with a Fae was rare, even during ancient times where demons and spirits roamed the Earth freely in the presence of humans, Fae were known to stick to themselves.
Some took their appearance as an omen, a sign of misfortune to come.
The Calamity's grin grew even wider as he closed the distance between them, circling her like a tiger would its prey.
"Have you come to sight see? Or were you perhaps looking for me? After all, I have killed your kind before," Sukuna said to her, taunting and goading her to get her unbalanced.

Raven moved in tandem with the demon that had appeared in front of him, dragging her tongue over her lower lip as she did so. He looked absolutely delectable - she had the urge to lash out at him just to see how he would react, but his words intrigued her.
It's rare to see your kind outside of your realm. After all, I have killed your kind before.
When he spoke those words, the smirk on her face only served to grow wider. It was adorable how weaker beings believed that she cared so much for Neraides. They seemed to use killing the Fae, maiming, injuring them as a way to get under her skin... but the difference was, that she couldn't care less about their lives. As long as she still survived at the end of the day, the whole planet could explode and she wouldn't care much. Instead of responding with a facade, and pretending as if she were mad, she simply placed her hands on her plump cheeks, and squished them together, letting out a sarcastic gasp.
"Oh no! You've killed my people before? How terrible! Whatever shall I do?"
She dramatically placed her hand on her forehead, closing her eyes and pretending to sway back and forth, before straightening up suddenly and giggling. The male in front of her wasn't particularly powerful, but she could tell that he would at least provide her with a fight that would get her blood pumping. She had been itching for a fight lately, and could practically feel heat coursing through her, awakening parts of her that hadn't been active in a very long time.
"The question is... can you kill me? Or would you perhaps enjoy doing something more... carnal?"

Sukuna's crimson eyes searched the woman's face, he wanted to see her squirm upon hearing his words, perhaps even grow hostile, yet she instead shot him a mock gesture of shock and awe.
"Oh no! You've killed my people before? How terrible! Whatever shall I do?"
The Calamity couldn't help but smirk, amused by her apathy. Most Fae that he had known were creatures who rarely strayed from one another, as such they were a close knit community of sorts that watched out for one another. But there were tales of Fae who strayed from the beaten path - Fae who were ostracized by their own kind for their harboring darker thoughts and mannerisms that was unlike their people.
They were labeled as Dark Fae, indistinguishable from demonic calamities such as himself, they wrought terror and destruction to all manner of creatures through force, trickery, and even seduction.
For many it was a horrible ordeal to meet one.
For Sukuna however, it was an honor.
Her strength seemed boundless, outstripping his quite clearly. It was similar to the power he wielded at his peak centuries ago. He was not nervous or frightened by the gap in their powers, on the contrary, it only stirred his blood, making him want what she had.
"The question is... can you kill me? Or would you perhaps enjoy doing something more... carnal?"
Sukuna approached her, looking down at her with a pleased grin, showcasing his predator canine teeth. He reached a hand up to cup her chin so that she may look upon his unwavering gaze.
"It would be a waste to kill you. Where would the fun in that be?" The calamity's hand traced down to her neck, grasping at it sensually, not yet applying pressure.
"I see right through you, dark one," He leaned in close and whispered in her ear, practically growling to her hungrily in a lust laden voice, "You seek to be free."
Sukuna's hand that was upon her neck trailed down the length of her body, his nails stopping short of scraping her skin.
"I can show you," He began, cupping her chin with her hand once again, leaning down as he closed the distance, his crimson eyes of desire shone like rubies in the dark. "What freedom feels like."

"And what is freedom to you?"
Raven's crimson eyes met his as his fingers cupped her chin, making her arch her neck slightly. She could feel her body responding to his touches, but didn't give in right away - she wanted to know exactly what he meant by freedom, and what he was willing to do to obtain her. The dark fae was never one to submit easily, and that wasn't going to change because a demon looked at her the right way.
"You seem to be under the impression that I am not already free," she continued, leaning forward until her lips were mere inches from his face, and letting her fingers dance down his torso. "Do you believe me to be trapped? Or do you use such mediocre lines on every woman you desire?"
She backed away slowly - not retreating, but merely putting distance between the two of them to see if he would try and close back in on her, try and get closer to her. She leaned against one of the pillars supporting the ceiling, and began unfastening the straps that held her bulky black armor together.
"What say you?"

"And what is freedom to you?"
She uttered to him, questioning him while her gaze lingered on his. She knew better than to take Sukuna's words at face value. That was good, his crimson eyes appraised her figure, liking what he saw not only of the physical but of the power that lied beneath the flesh. What was her secret, he wondered. Few beings possessed the depths of strength that she carried within her - a strength that far outstripped his own in his current state. It was vexing.
"You seem to be under the impression that I am not already free," She spoke, leaning in, her lips near his. Her fingers traced down his torso, icy cold in touch, just the way he liked it. He did not react physically yet there was a desire within that stirred awake - a desire that had laid dormant for quite some time.
"Do you believe me to be trapped? Or do you use such mediocre lines on every woman you desire?"
Sukuna nearly scoffed at her words, his nostrils flaring. What had she taken him for - a mere incubus?
The Dark Fae stepped backwards with seductive steps, leaning her back against one of the obsidian columns whilst her hands undid the straps of her shadow night armor.
"What say you?"
The calamity approached her with resolute steps, his expression indistinguishable - not one to give away his next move.
He loomed over the Dark Fae once he had enclosed the space between them once more, his hands mirroring her task of unfastening her armor from her alluring form.
"I say if you were truly free with the power you possessed, then the world would be yours, Dark Fae," Desire laced his voice, low in hungry, he leaned down to the nape of her neck and licked her pale skin. The taste of her was sweet and delectable, like honey.
"What is holding you back?" Sukuna whispered in her ear, his lips nearly pressing against it.
"Or whom?"

A dark chuckle escaped the female's lips as he licked a hot stripe up her neck. Goosebumps formed where his tongue had dragged, but she didn't show any signs of reacting, save for her own crimson eyes glistening with mirth and excitement. She watched as his fingers moved across her straps, but didn't comment with anything other than her gaze.
"...holding you back? Or whom?"
Raven almost laughed - almost. She had plenty of reasons not to engage in carnal activities with the male in front of her, but none that held her down. Although her lighter half was currently in a relationship with the bald Saiyan, Nappa, she wasn't too worried about it. She would do what she wanted, and Ember would be free to do as she pleased. They were, after all, sharing a body. Was she supposed to just ignore her needs?
"Nothing controls me. As far as the rest of the world, however," she murmured, reaching up with incredible speed and gripping his chin between her thumb and index finger, "There are beings much stronger than myself. Beings whose energy is positively... terrifying."
She said the last word with glee, as if the idea of something dangerous excited her, stirred her up. She had come into contact with aliens who wielded a power level triple her own, and their presence alone had made her shiver in excitement. Her only goal now was to reach that level of strength, and engage with them in combat.
"Can you even handle my strength? My speed?" She whispered, gripping his face a bit tighter, before leaning in and licking his cheek. "My stamina?"

"Nothing controls me. As far as the rest of the world, however," Her words came slow yet her movement was swift, catching Sukuna off guard by gripping his chin tightly between her fingers.
The calamity's expression did not falter, in fact, he quite enjoyed the development, his grin visible even as his cheeks were pressed between the Dark Fae's overbearing clutches.
"There are beings much stronger than myself. Beings whose energy is positively... terrifying."
Ah, Sukuna could not quiet the rumblings within him. The desire to return to form, back to his glory days where even the strong bowed in his presence and submitted to him completely and utterly. No matter their station in life, King or Queen, Servant or Aristocrat, no matter the manner of creature they so happened to be, Demon or Spirit, Celestial or Ghoul, their allowance to live were tied to his pleasure - or displeasure.
One day, Sukuna thought, he would wield such power and take his rightful place.
And he would start by taking the Dark Fae before him.
"Can you even handle my strength? My speed?" Her grip tightened, but Sukuna's expression remained the same, a ghost of his grin remained ever-present.
The Dark Fae leaned towards him, her breath tickled his flesh and her tongue traced his cheek, getting a taste of him as he had done to her.
"My stamina?"
Sukuna placed his hand on her wrist, not to squeeze, but to steady her for when he freed his face from her grasp by pulling his head up and out of her reach. He released her from his temporary hold as well, before then encroaching upon her and leaning down to plant a hungry kiss upon her lips, tasting the nectar of her saliva, taking in the embrace of her powerful presence and energy that exuded from her.
His sharp canine-like teeth nibbled at her bottom lip, biting hard enough to draw a trickle of blood, just enough for him to taste.
"Show me," He challenged her.

A breathy sigh escaped the Dark Fae's lips as the demon's lips met hers. She hadn't been kissed in what must have been years, and the touch was something that she had sorely missed throughout that time. His kiss was accompanied by a bite to her lower lip, and she could tell it had broken skin - not enough to cause any real damage, but just enough to increase the excitement coursing through her body.
"Show me."
A cat-like smile crossed her features yet again, but she simply placed her hand on his chest, and pushed with very little force, putting distance between the two of them.
"What makes you think you are worthy of me?"
She hadn't experienced carnal pleasures in years, yes, but she wasn't going to give up what she had so willingly. If he wanted it, he would have to prove to her that he was able to handle whatever she threw at her.
"You're not even strong enough to best me in battle. What makes you believe you could best me in bed?"

The Dark Fae's hand rested on Sukuna's chest, all the while a cheshire grin creased her lips, sinister and inviting all the same. She applied enough force to push Sukuna back, but it came off as rather playful, perhaps even antagonistic - challenging.
"What makes you think you are worthy of me?"
It had been a long time since Sukuna had been challenged in such a manner. The Dark Fae's words hung in the air like a haze - she was testing him. Poking and prodding at the Calamity to see if he truly had the chops to take what he desired no matter the circumstances, nor the gulf that existed between them when it came to the power that she wielded, a power that would soon be his in due time.
"You're not even strong enough to best me in battle. What makes you believe you could best me in bed?"
Sukuna grinned once more, his tongue swept his bottom lip to taste the metallic liquid of the Dark Fae's lifeblood. His hand made his way to her breastplate, his nails glided to her straps and with a snip he cut it in two, causing the obsidian armor to fall into the shadows.
His hand made his way down, teasing her pale skin with a sensual touch from her abdomen down even lower...and lower...resting above her maidenhood, two fingers encroaching upon it, teasing it by encircling her inner thigh where the flesh was soft.
His other hand grabbed at her throat, Sukuna's forefingers applied pressure upon her porcelain skin, the perfect blend of soothing and suffering, afflicting the Dark Fae with pain and pleasure in equal parts. His crimson eyes met her. He stared into them, melding with her - his desire evident in his gaze, a boundless insatiable thirst for...everything.

After a few hours, she pulled her clothing back on her figure, and stood from the spot on the floor they had been laying. She still had to find the artifact, and she had been distracted long enough. Her main focus was finding the item that would give her more power, and she couldn't do that while she was curled up beside the male she had met. Yet, she had enjoyed herself. Maybe she would keep him.
"Are you coming along, or what?" She called over her shoulder, hand on the door. "I intend to find something that belongs to me. If you wish to come, you may."
She didn't wait for his response - if he followed her, it would make for good entertainment while she searched the fortress. If not, she wouldn't have to be distracted.
After a few moments of walking, the Dark Fae realized that the inside of the fortress was emanating a dark, musky smell. She had a strange feeling that it was some sort of signal attempting to lead her to the artifact she sought so much. She didn't know if the demon was still in tow, but continued walking down the long, dark passageways, eyes peeled for any movement. At one point, she could have sworn she'd seen something scurrying across the floors, but didn't stop to check. There was no reason for her to waste her time on what very well may have been a rat.
The female continued to move through the halls, checking doors and hoping they would open - after a while, she finally got lucky, and one of the handles turned. She opened it to reveal a large, sprawling library, holding various dusty tomes. Some of the books were scattered across the floor, pages ripped out in an obvious rush, but Raven simply stepped over them and began to scan the area, looking for some sort of clue.
Her hands caressed the spines of the already-fragile books as she walked, before turning back toward the pink-haired demon, assuming he was still in tow. She wanted to know if he had any inkling about where the artifact was, or if he was just as clueless as she had been. She didn't expect for him to be in the same place as herself for no reason - and she planned to confirm that fact.
"You here for it, too? I want it, if we find it."
She leaned against the bookshelf, raising her eyebrows as if to say, "I dare you to challenge me." She wasn't going to let up.
