Here we go.

12 was fantastic. a bit hard to follow, but i loved it. i liked the battle system, with one exception - the quikenings were lame. The remake is amazing as well.

I honestly didn't like 13. I love Vanille's voice (i seem to be in the minority here). The cutscenes were awesome. The changing roles in the middle of battle was awesome. the liner journey (ie, no world map) felt lame. The push the a button was super lame.

Gotta give it to 12 for simply being a better game than the current competition. 12 has a lot of flaws, but it doesn't have as many as 13 did.
