The Forgotten Saiyan 418/418 Tarble sensed a subtle shift in Beezlebub's demeanor, a calming of the intense energy that initially emanated from the demon. As the lost prince loosened his tensed muscles, he maintained a readiness to confront Beezlebub if necessary, but a desire to understand the demon lingered. In a surprising turn, Beezlebub acknowledged the possibility that Tarble might be different from other Saiyans. He observed that Tarble's passion for battle wasn't driven solely by the thrill of combat, unlike many of his Saiyan counterparts. Tarble's excitement stemmed from the primal essence within him, rather than a relentless pursuit of battle thrills. The unusual encounter between a Saiyan and a demon opened a window for a unique understanding to unfold. “Now that we have crossed that bridge now I am curious to understand more about Beezlebub. I need to know what makes him tic so if we do cross fist it will make it more enjoyable”
In an unexpected twist, Beezlebub did something quite unthinkable – he apologized to Tarble. Moreover, he offered his assistance in Tarble's quest to become stronger. This proposition piqued Tarble's interest, especially as he had predominantly been surrounded by Saiyans during his training endeavors of late. Curiosity lingered in Tarble's mind as he contemplated the potential benefits this demon could bring to his growth. Beezlebub's strength suggested encounters with trainers previously unknown to Tarble, sparking a sense of anticipation for the uncharted territory of training that lay ahead. “I still need to be cautious. I wish I would have learned more about demons throughout my travels. This is the first one that I have ran into. What does he mean by helping me in my journey to become stronger. Does he have a special technique that he could train me on. Could he show me some new battle techniques that I do not know off. I think I need to dig a little bit more deeper into what he means by this”Tarble cleared his throat, taking a moment to carefully consider his words. Determined to steer the conversation away from potential conflict, he aimed for clarity regarding Beezlebub's offer. With a desire to understand the demon's intentions, Tarble spoke candidly, "I strive to maintain an open mind in conversations, and I prefer directness. So, I'll be blunt; what exactly do you mean by helping me in my journey to become stronger?" His straightforward question sought to uncover the specifics of Beezlebub's proposed assistance. “I think that was the best way for me to ask him” Actions1. N/A 2. N/A

The young Demon cast his mind back to his time in the astral plane with Ghast. The enigmatic figure had alluded to the fact that the setting within the astral realm was an indication of one’s subconscious, a potential memory recreated. Beelzebub’s first foray had been a fiery hellscape, somewhat befitting given his demonic nature. He’d still not quite figured out what it had to do with his past, but given everything that had happened since then, he could very much believe that his past had hellish origins. But this? This place was bare, stripped back to nothing more than a semi-translucent platform amidst the darkness of the never-ending void. It had to mean something. Or perhaps, there was some heavy repression going on.
“I never said I sought to make you stronger,” Beelzebub replied, finally turning his attention back to the Saiyan Prince, his eyes locked firmly on Tarble’s. “You mentioned that you venture into this kind of thing for self-improvement, did you not?” he asked rhetorically “Therefore, I offered my assistance in helping you do so. The fact that you readily see the two things as interchangeable is interesting though,”
A brief silence fell over the void. Perhaps a Saiyan’s greatest pursuit was strength, or maybe strength was necessary in this particular Saiyan’s journey. The puzzle pieces were all there, but fitting them together was proving difficult. It all came back to one question, why did Tarble seek to get stronger? Was it just an innate need woven in the fibres of being born unto the warrior race, or was there some deeper reason that the Prince was holding on to?
“How about we change up the line of questioning then,” The little fiend began, feeling like there was far more to be uncovered here, and relishing in the opportunity to do so. “If you truly do see getting stronger as self-improvement, then why do you chase after it? Why do you seek out greater strength?”
Given the Prince’s previous answers, Beelzebub was prepared for a generic response along the lines of some kind of need given his race, his heritage and his bloodline, but in the deep recesses of Tarble’s mind, the Demon was hoping to plant the seed that there was more to this.

The Forgotten Saiyan 521/939 Tarble carefully absorbed Beezlebub's explanation regarding his interpretation of Tarble's quest for strength. Despite comprehending the concept of someone aiding in one's growth, Tarble remained uncertain about the precise implications behind the pink demon's offer to assist him in becoming stronger. While the notion of assistance in personal development resonated with Tarble, he grappled with the potential nuances that might distinguish his understanding from Beezlebub's perspective. “Hmmm… he is an interesting character and this is becoming a strong conversation. He is getting deep into why I want to become stronger. I think the only reason why I have been pushed to become stronger is to prove to my father that I can become strong and not just a low class saiyan”
Beezlebub, deciding to shift the conversation's dynamics, inquired of Tarble the reason behind his pursuit of strength. The pink demon sought to unravel the motivations of the lost prince, questioning why he aspired to become more powerful throughout the vastness of the universe. Tarble, perceptive to Beezlebub's curiosity regarding his pursuit of strength and power, took a moment to reflect. After a brief pause, Tarble began to articulate his perspective, stating, "I believe everyone, in one way or another, is on a quest for power within the universe. My realization came during a fierce battle with another Saiyan on planet Earth; an opponent I couldn't overcome. I discovered that there exist formidable adversaries in the world who harbor a desire for destruction without any discernible reason. Initially, I thought I sought strength to prove to my father that I could transcend my low-class Saiyan origins. However, my perspective has evolved. Now, my motivation is rooted in the necessity to defend myself against these potent adversaries." Unfazed by the prospect of battle, Tarble continued, "I've come to understand that some battles are inevitable, and we are all destined to face death at some point. The choice lies in how we confront it. Will we flee from a confrontation, or will we stand our ground, giving our all until our last breath? My commitment to growing stronger stems from this realization, as I aim to face every challenge with unwavering determination, giving everything I have until the very end." “I think that is why I chase strength and growth in myself. What is the point of living unless you are trying to make yourself better. The only way I know is to grow in power and fight. I will not be that saiyan that grows old and out of shape. I will be known throughout as a warrior that always gave it his all during a battle"
Tarble, sensing the need for a more profound understanding of the pink demon, fixed a serious gaze upon Beezlebub. Determined to be unequivocal, he posed a direct question, locking eyes with the pink demon. "Why do you pursue power? What motivates your participation in battles?" Tarble inquired, seeking to unveil the driving force behind Beezlebub's quest for strength. The tables had turned; having been subjected to Beezlebub's inquiries about strength and growth, Tarble was now intrigued by the inner workings of this enigmatic pink demon. Actions1. N/A 2. N/A

The sound of the water running into the tub echoed through the bathroom, splashing against the porcelain, as steam poured out, filling the room. For Goten, it had been a long day of training with Trunks, that had left him sticky with sweat, and an odour radiating from his clothes that was hard to get away from. His muscles burned and his joints ached. Baths weren’t exactly a favourite for the young hybrid, but at this juncture, it was certainly a necessity.
Just as the spiky-haired boy went to begin undressing, he felt his hand clutch something hard in his pocket. He reached in and pulled out the gem that Theadeia had bestowed upon both he and Trunks. She’d mentioned something about the ruby being able to help them with their training. The small boy gazed into the gemstone, staring at his own crimson reflection, wondering what she’d meant. Thus far there hadn’t been any signs of how it worked, or what it did, and he certainly didn’t feel like it had been a particular aid in their day’s worth of training.
“It is pretty nice at the very least,” Goten said to himself, before breaking his trance on the gem. But just as he went to pocket the jewel again, the youngster felt as though it had started to vibrate in his palm. His eyes narrowed and his brow furrowed as he stared more deeply into the gemstone, clutching at it slightly tighter, feeling the vibrations radiate through his hand, and working its way up his arm.
“Woah!” Goten yelled, as he started feeling as though he’d just dropped through the floor, his stomach churning before landing abruptly. It took a moment for his eyes to adjust. The bathroom had vanished. All around him was an endless void. He was surrounded by nothing but darkness. It had a similar atmosphere to that of the hyperbolic time chamber, but inside of a boundless sea of white, it was completely black, save for the semi-translucent white platform he found himself standing on. The boy cast his eyes down, tapping his toes against the floor to make sure that it was safe to stand and move around on.
“What is this place?” He asked himself, raising his head level until his gaze was met by another individual standing opposite him. He immediately noticed the spiky black hair and the striking resemblance to Trunks’ dad, Vegeta. The armour was quite similar as well. It was more than clear that the individual in question was a Saiyan, but he’d never encountered another full-blooded Saiyan, other than Vegeta, and the brief time he’d spent with his dad at the martial arts tournament.
But he couldn’t quite get over how much the man looked like Vegeta. Were they a relative? Did Vegeta even exist in this reality? Goten had so many questions that he didn’t even know where to start, instead subconsciously opting to stand there dumbfounded, trying to work out what was going on in his head.
“Erm,” The young boy finally mumbled, hearing the sound echo through the ceaseless void. “Mind if I ask who you are?” He continued, wondering if the Saiyan was friendly. His main experience with full-blooded Saiyans had come in the way of Trunks’ dad, who wasn’t exactly a poster boy for people who were easy to get along with. “And also if you could let me know where we are as well…” he added, his eyes darting back and forth between his unusual surroundings. “Oh and sorry about the smell as well,” Goten finished with, as the scent of his clothes brought him back down to reality, remembering that he still really needed to wash.

The Forgotten Saiyan 426/1,365 As Tarble blinked, he discerned the abrupt absence of the petite pink demon. It was as though this enigmatic dimension reveled in toying with the lost prince's senses. The current experience diverged from previous occurrences, imbued with an unsettling aura that seemed intent on driving him to the brink of madness. Yet, Tarble resiliently maintained his composure, steadfast in the belief that he would eventually extricate himself from this perplexing predicament. “Since Beezlebub is gone, I am wondering if I am leaving here now or will there be someone else coming. I do not have time to play games in this place as I have personal matters to attend back on planet Yaidrat”
As Tarble blinked, a figure materialized before him; a child, standing inquisitively. The lost prince narrowed his eyes, attempting to discern the identity of this newcomer. The perplexity deepened, transforming the surreal landscape from a demon encounter to an encounter with a child. Before Tarble could utter a word, the child preemptively inquired about the nature of this peculiar place. “How would a kid pose’s a gem to get to this realm. By his hair you can tell he is a saiyan, but I have seen a saiyan wear armor like that before. Since this kid is a saiyan I am wondering if he can battle as well”
The child's curiosity led to a direct inquiry about Tarble's identity and the enigmatic location they found themselves in. This piqued Tarble's interest, as he assumed that anyone entering this realm was well-aware of their surroundings. The unexpected turn took a peculiar twist when the kid suddenly apologized for his scent. Tarble, perplexed, furrowed his brow, unable to detect any odor at the moment. Nevertheless, a newfound wariness prompted Tarble to keep a cautious distance from the apologetic child. “Now I know this place is playing tricks on me. How could I spar a kid like this. The demon would have been fun since he seemed to have some aggression behind him. But this kid seems innocent like he has never been around any Saiyan's before” "Greetings, young one. I'm Tarble," he declared, extending a friendly wave with his right hand. After clearing his throat, Tarble continued, "This realm serves as a dimension for fighters seeking to train others across the universe. Now, about that gem; where did you come across it?" With a slight pause, Tarble posed another question before the child could respond, "And what might your name be? Are you by chance a Saiyan? Your characteristics bear a resemblance to one." Actions1. Goten kind of wished Trunks was here to explain what was going on. This whole talk of dimension and realities was starting to get a little bit much. He felt as though he’d gone through an extensive course on time, space, realities and dimensions within the last week, and quantum physics weren’t really his thing.
The good news though, was that Tarble seemed friendly, far more friendly than the young hybrid had expected, offering both a friendly gesture as well as a helpful explanation. Maybe Saiyans weren’t such a bad bunch after all, maybe it was just Vegeta who was a bit of a grouch.
“Oh you mean this?” Goten said, lifting up the ruby in his hand, noticing that it had stopped vibrating. It was then that the pieces started to fit together in his mind. Was this what Theadeia had meant by helping with their training? The ability to transport to another dimension in order to fight others? The notion of it was pretty exciting. “Somebody gave it to me. I’m not sure if I’m allowed to say who though,” Goten added, remembering that the former Supreme Kai of Reality was quite cagey about who knew of her. “But anyway, my name’s Goten. It’s nice to meet you, Tarble,” The young boy continued, with a smile on his face, dropping the gemstone back into his pocket. “I’m half Saiyan. My dad’s a Saiyan, but my mum’s an Earthling, same as my friend Trunks,”
The youngster walked over to the Saiyan, remembering that it was polite to extend a hand when greeting someone for the first time. Even if his mum wasn’t here, he still wanted to honour her by living by being respectful. “I’m guessing you’re a Saiyan too?” Goten asked, as he extended his arm out to shake Tarble’s hand. “You look kind of similar to Trunks’ dad, Vegeta. He wore armour like that too, but was a lot more grumpy than you are,” Goten chuckled. “I guess you’re more like my dad in that respect,” The boy thought back to the half a day he had got to spend with his dad, and how much it had meant to him. He could feel his eyes get a little misty, wondering if he’d ever get another chance to spend any more time with him.

The Forgotten Saiyan 525/1,890 Tarble observed intently as the young Saiyan revealed a vibrant red gem. The Saiyan began to share the tale of how someone had bestowed upon him this mysterious gem, deliberately withholding the identity of the benefactor. Just as Tarble contemplated interjecting, the Saiyan introduced himself as "Goten." Extending a warm greeting to Tarble, Goten disclosed that he was a half-Saiyan, born of a Saiyan father and an Earthling mother. “So, this kid is from planet Earth. His father is a saiyan and his mother is an earthling. I wonder if I have crossed paths with them while I was staying on the planet”
Tarble eased into a sense of assurance, detecting no imminent threat from Goten. Observing Goten's approach, Tarble noted the outstretched hand awaiting a handshake. Although Tarble suspected Goten recognized him as a Saiyan, the lost prince, out of respect, reciprocated the gesture and extended his hand to shake the young Saiyan's. Just as Tarble prepared to initiate conversation, he was taken aback by Goten's revelation. Goten casually mentioned that Tarble bore a striking resemblance to someone close to his friend Trunks, whose father was none other than Vegeta. The mention of the last name sent a jolt through Tarble, prompting him to subtly shift his right foot behind him in surprise. “Vegeta... he has a son. Why does every turn I make I hear that name. This young saiyan knows my brother, but how. What does he mean Vegeta’s son Trunk. Did my older brother have a kid and never once came looking for me. I always thought my brother would turn his way and find me, but I guess he has moved on, so maybe it is time for me to move on. Should I let this young saiyan know who I am or should I just let it go. I really do not want my brother knowing that I am around and making moves to become stronger”
Tarble composed himself, ensuring he presented a collected demeanor. Balancing the need for honesty with the imperative of keeping his whereabouts concealed from Vegeta, he navigated the delicate situation. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Goten. This is the first encounter I've had with a half-Saiyan. The vastness of the universe certainly holds surprises," Tarble remarked, taking a momentary pause. Drawing in a deep breath, the lost prince continued, "You're correct in noting the resemblance to Vegeta; he's my older brother. It's been a considerable span since we last spoke, and truth be told, he might not even be aware of my existence. Nonetheless, I'm genuinely relieved to hear he's doing well." “My pride in myself would not let me lie to this young child. He seems so innocent that my brother can know I am out in the universe. Maybe one day we can reconcile out relationship, but I need to not worry about that anymore” "You exude a strong fighting spirit, young Saiyan. Do you engage in training, and might I inquire about your father; the Saiyan you mentioned? I'm intrigued to know if our paths have ever crossed," Tarble inquired, expressing his curiosity to learn more about this half-Saiyan individual. Actions1. N/A 2. N/A

Is he serious right now? Goten thought to himself, barely able to contain the shocked look on his face as the Saiyan known as Tarble revealed himself to be Vegeta’s brother. I had no idea Trunks’ dad even had a brother. Does Trunks know? He never mentioned it…
“Wow, I can’t believe that!” The youngster finally said aloud as the shocking information started to sink in. “I have to admit, you seem a lot more friendly than him. I don’t think Trunks’ dad has ever actually spoken to me directly…” The small Saiyan added, only now just coming to the realisation that any time that Vegeta had interacted with him, it had only been to tell Trunks something, or to scald them as a pair. Although in truth, it wasn’t exactly surprising. Gohan had told him that his dad and Vegeta had been rivals, and with his striking resemblance to his dad, it might have caused some disturbing emotions within the Saiyan Prince.
Tarble’s attention turned towards Goten’s dad, which was a little bit of a sore spot. Both Gohan and his mum had always told such great stories about Goku. The man who was so kind and strong that he’d sacrificed his own life for the good of his friends, his family and the safety of all mankind. The youngster had always wished that one day he’d be able to meet his dad, and luckily for him, that day finally came. However, the whole day was ruined by the arrival of Majin Buu.
“My dad…” Goten began, trying to not let the floodgates to his emotion open. “His name is Goku. He was a Saiyan from Earth as well, raised by my Great Grandpa Gohan,” The young Saiyan gritted his teeth, his face remaining stoic, trying to fight back the tears that were threatening to stream down his face. Even just the mention of his family was making him miss them. It had only been a few weeks since he’d actually seen them, but so much had happened in that time that it felt so much longer. What was worse was that there was no hard guarantee that he’d see them again. Not least until Theadeia could come up with a more concrete plan on how to fix the chaos within the realities.
Goten sniffed, pulling himself together and taking a deep breath to calm down. “Although…Trunks’ dad calls him Kakarot. So maybe if you did know him, you know him by that name?”
