It had been a few days since he had touched down on the capital planet, and so far it had been mostly boring politics and waiting for meetings that got rescheduled. This was the reason he had disliked planet Frieza in the first place, it felt like nothing ever got done because there was so much damn red tape to cut through. And now that he had been mostly forced into joining the military, he had to actually pay attention and abide to that red tape.
"Lord Siberius?" A short humanoid alien asked, with a deep red skin and long white hair. He looked oddly familiar, but the thought was brushed off as he focused on the conversation that was now coming to blossom. He turned from the window he had been gazing out , which led down to a battle arena similar to the one he had known on Arlia but smaller and scale and without the audience.
Siberius turned with a smile and nod "Yes?"
The orangish red solider saluted and then pointed to the arena beyond the window. "Your new combat partner has arrived. The two of you will hold each other accountable while within the military ranks of the Planet Trade Organization."
The youngest son of the Frost clan nodded , and thanked the man for his time before heading down into the arena to meet his new rival and or ally.

FRIEZA #e1aef5 Word Count: 306 [306/540] Passives: Beginner's Aura Because of his unique situation, Frieza had been moving up the ladder of the PTO at an incredible pace. The organization could barely keep up with his momentum having already granted him a promotion shortly after joining. His training partners were the same. None could hold no candle to the tyrant who had once – in another universe or time – ruled the Planet Trade Organization. He had been told his new partner was quite different as he was a powerful changeling of the Frost family. Just hearing mention of the Frost family irritated the once all powerful tyrant. When he awoke on Frieza, he was shocked to learn that not only his power and accomplishments were gone, but his family now shared rulership with a clan he had never heard of. It hadn’t taken long for the changeling to deduce that he was in a different reality than the one he had been in before. It was similar, but definitely not the same. Frieza tapped his foot on the pavement of the training arena, growing impatient waiting for his training partner. He fully expected his opponent not to show just like the last. He was proven wrong however when a dark-skinned changeling descended the stairs and entered the arena. The changeling didn’t look like much, but Frieza supposed neither did many changelings, after all their base form is but a fraction of their true power. “So you must be the Frost clan boy,” Frieza remarked with his typical raspy voice. H unfolded his arms before placing his right hand on his chest. “I am Lord Frieza, second son of the Cold clan. They tell me that you are my opponent for today.” Frieza grasped his right hand with his left, cracking each of his knuckles one at a time. “Please, by all means, start whenever you’re ready.”

As soon as he entered into the arena beyond the staircase that brought him spiraling down to this new battleground , he spotted his opponent and laughed aloud with an amused chortle. A few more paces in and he stood about thirty feet away from his newly assigned training partner who was similar in stature to him if not a few inches shorter. Another changeling in their base form, which was fitting given the natural power that Siberius had. Most in the Planet Trade Military would not last a round against him, even if he had never truly trained a day in his life. So today was the day for many firsts, and the most exciting of those was going to be that he finally got to meet the second son of his family's rival clan.
"Lord Frieza , what a pleasure to finally make your acquaintance." he crossed an arm over his chest armor and bowed as any established person of culture should. His voice sang with respect , and if Frieza was smart enough , he would hear the slightly veiled mock behind that greeting.
Siberius raised up and raised a hairless brow as the rival clan member began cracking their knuckles. "I am Lord Siberius. Youngest son of the Frost clan as you are well aware , and dignitary to planet Arlia. I am please to hear that you have returned from your absence in the galaxy, although I must say I expected you to be taller in person." his pleasantries fell as his courteous smile turned into a smirk. "Shame, because I plan on knocking you down a peg.".
For most who did not possess the above average speed that these two did, it would appear that the Frost clan member vanished leaving only a small cloud of dust where he had stood. In the blink of an eye he appeared behind Frieza , attempting to roundhouse kick him in the head.

FRIEZA #e1aef5 Word Count: 207 [513/1067] Passives: Beginner's Aura Frieza knew when he was being mocked, and this whelp was doing just that. Talking about his height like that mattered at all in a fight and though the tyrant knew it did not, it still irritated him when someone pointed that out. When his opponent vanished, Frieza knew instinctively that he would be attacked from behind, it was a common opening move. Instead of ducking to easily avoid the attack, the changeling instead stood still as his opponent’s leg met with the side of his head. The power of the kick surprised Frieza as he was sent flying into the arena wall. The combat arenas of the PTO were built into the ground to avoid such actions from causing damage to the surrounding area. From the dust, Frieza emerged relatively unscathed. “My, my,” Frieza said playfully as he brushed the dust off his legs. “You are much stronger than I had expected. I suppose I should take this seriously then.” In a purple and white blur, Frieza vanished only to reappear above his opponent, ki already charged in both his hands. The tyrant swung his arms downward, repeatedly releasing the energy he had built, sending a volley of purple ki blasts raining down on his opponent.

Siberius' strike had landed and successfully launched the Cold lord across the arena, a dusting of snow and rubble filling the air around the wall where Frieza had crashed into. The Frost clan member on the other hand smiled and folded his arms across his chest, acting completely unamused by the kick he had just delivered. Seemed the rival clan was not all that they chalked it up to be, perhaps after he had sparred with Frieza he should hunt down the Changeling Lords older brother and father and see how he faired against them.
When Frieza rose to his feet and complimented the attack that had landed , Siberius could not help but feel his pride swell. Even if he was opposed to Frieza and saw him as a direct rival, that did not mean that he didnt respect the bastard enough to take this seriously.
Before he could reply, the purple and white blur appeared above him and began a purple rain of energy blasts that forced Siberius to raise his arms up to block and defend which even that ended up being fruitless. His arms covered his face in a cross form but the first couple blasts hit his feet and shoulders, the back of his hands and tail , slowly over time pelting with painful stings as more dust and snow rose up around him from the flurry of ki.
When that smoke did clear , there was several small burns and cuts that covered the darker skinned Changeling. "Indeed Frieza, I have a feeling this will not be our only battle." and threw both hands forward releasing a double handed yellow beam that would track and chase down the airborne frieza.

FRIEZA #e1aef5 Word Count: 257 [770/1324] Passives: Beginner's Aura Frieza couldn't help but grin when the smoke cleared to reveal his opponent covered in bruises, but still standing. It had been a while since he really had a sparring partner worth his time. Perhaps this Siberius is finally one who can really give him a challenge. The changeling watched as his opponent responded to his attack by throwing his hands up and unleashing a yellow beam of energy. Frieza put all his power into his flight as he flew around the areana. He could have easily outmaneuvered the attack if he had free reign to do so, unfortunately he had to stay low to still be considered 'inside' the arena. He skirted the outer edge of the ring as he flew around, the energy slowly catching up. After realizing he had no chance to escape, Frieza used his tail and struck the side of the wall, causing a large chunk of ice to break free and fall behind him, providing a makeshift shield. Knowing the shockwave of the explosion cause by the beam hitting the ice would boost him forward, the tyrant changed direction just in time to take advantage the surge of kinetic energy, allowing him to quickly close the gap and get within melee range. As he flew at Siberius, Frieza tucked his body and swung his tail forward causing him to spin rapidly like that of a flying sawblade. If successful, his tail would strike his opponent, not only with his strength, but also with the burst of speed the explosion granted him.

His hands remained forward and outright, expelling the yellow hi from all ten digits that sped like a hyper-train towards the Lord of the Cold clan. It was a higher energy cost than he would have normally preferred to use with ki based techniques, but he could already tell that Frieza was everything that his clan had hyped him up to be. While Siberius was the youngest and almost forgotten brother of the Frost clan, Frieza had always been hailed as the Prodigy and future ruler of the Cold clan. Even if the purple and white changeling Lord was a few inches shorter, his speed and strength proved that the Frost clan may have an actual threat to their rule. And then it clicked within the Frost clan members mind; was he and Frieza paired up as training partners so that he could spy on the primary rival clan to his own family?
Siberius shook off the thought and turned the beam of energy to follow his new found rival. who burst around the arena with enough force to cause audible speed and friction. "Impressive." Siberius said aloud, although the sound of his voice was drowned out by the combined blender of his energy beam and the Cold clans speed. Just as he thought his energy beam was about to connect with Frieza, the yellow beam slowly gaining distance on the purple prick, Frieza improvised and threw his whole plan off. A chunk of ice was used as contact between the beam and himself, because the double handed blast would erupt on the first thing that it collided with. "Shit."
There was a firework of energy and ice, and then a thick fog of mist filled the small arena. Siberius' magma colored eyed darted back and forth looking for the opposing changeling knowing that this smoke shield set him back in terms of perception. With the tenacity of a tornado coming through a tundra, frieza spin forward with his tail that same speed that threw Siberius off guard. The tail cut through the mist as if it were a sword , Siberius moved to dodge it by throwing his weight back but also his arms up to protect at the last second if needed....
Frieza's tail connected and clipped his arm guard, shattering a piece of the pottery like material that protected his forearms....Yikes.
The youngest Frost son leapt backwards across the arena to create some space between them, now knowing not to the take Cold Lord at face value. Frieza may have been shorted even in their base forms, and have had a power level less than Siberius would have expected, but his power spoke for itself.
"If we are going truly to test ourselves..." he began, brining his arms curled by his sides as he began to crouch.
Snowdrift blew away from his feet, his tail twitched behind him. A small swirl of arctic started around his stance as he began to consider powering up. "Then I should stop holding back. You clearly are as we-"
Siberius' words were cut off by a loud horn that pierced the arena. "Spar over. Return to your duties." A robotic voice called out , cutting through every sound in the arena. Nearby a square box like droid could be seen, holding up a digital sign that said 0:00.
The Frost Lord looked across the arena towards his new rival and scoffed, before turning and walking out of the arena.
