Sighing, he watched her using her Flash Bomb to cancel his. This was definitely not the first time something similar happened, thanks to that Dr. Ghast who gave him nightmares after the battle ended. It was also a trap he had walked right into, though he didn't currently know that. His life was in danger, and as his heartbeat raced, he felt something: It was FEAR. And her next move could KILL HIM. He suddenly felt something again, but this time stronger. He was getting feral once more. It was now just instinct taking over him as he felt her energy growing more concentrated and becoming weaponized to a degree few others could achieve. Without even thinking, he placed his index and forefinger on his temple and disappeared behind her. As she came in for another blow, he smashed a powerful right into her fist, his and her energy clashing with a snap, both sides evidently giving their all. Grabbing his longsword, he thrusted it forth, before coming in for a quick swing of his left fist at her chin. Speeding away, he pulled out a sensu bean and shoved a bean in his mouth. Giving it a quick chew and swallow, he dipped into his TRUE full power, before realizing the chaos was beginning to take control again. Bersimmon vanished in time, reappearing behind her so that she had to slow and spun her charge back around. The key there was to keep your motions compact and strong, then you’ll get a quick and tight turn. Accomplishing that, her fist shot out without as much destructive power behind it, but still with that chaotic energy fueling it. Their fists collided and the energy that exploded after threw both their arms back from the sudden contact like recoil from something much more powerful. He recovered first as she shook her hand to make sure all the bones were in the right place, which left her less time to fully defend. It was a straight charge so she moved to pivot but the blade still caught her side and the quick punch knocked her head back a bit and grit her teeth. If it were her, she would have probably pressed into that assault, to try and keep him as off guard as she had been, but she could see his injuries and his face had paled a bit. This all changed as he chewed on something. Not only did it seem to heal and rejuvenate him, it brought out a higher level of power too. The problem with unleashing power when you were infected with chaos energy, though the Shadowguard weaponized this, is that the chaos energy was almost always unleashed as well. Riki had been a victim to Yan Cass’ chaos. She had felt the waves of mania that seemed to change her entire personality. She could feel the doubt and anxiety slithering in, creating paranoia in the midst of it all. She could feel the full effects of Damaskia’s studies: a biological psychological weapon. She didn’t expect the energy coming off of Bersimmon to be as intense as Yan’s power. He was considered an expert at controlling and using it, but that made you think he could tap into its peak. Yan could diminish the effects. He often did, pushing people to the mindset he wished for, testing the waters. What Bersimmon had was just his chaos, a chaos so potent it was complimented by the highest order on Damakia. It wasn’t Yan’s Chaos Lite. Yan used Chaos Lite. The paladin had done well to bury and control it, but it was reaching now for both fighters. Even the audience found themselves feeling far more jittery. Riki had only a short moment to decide. She could fight through this energy, Order through Chaos, and hope she could yake advantage of Bersimmon in this more reckless state, or she could try and stop it. She decided to try what might just be a mixture of the two. It would depend on Bersimmon on what would happen next, and she felt that was fair. Their eyes locked, hers a beautiful glowing gold, and they seemed to pierce him. It was like he had just been stabbed in the brain with that moment of complete shock rushing through his frozen state. Now, his mind would either find itself even more vulnerable to the chaos, having been weakened, or the shock and spark might be instead enough for regain his bearings and better fight the influence. She didn’t know what would happen, but she knew it would at least stun him momentarily, and in that moment her power level expanded, rising closer to her normal base level as gold sparks began to dance around her. Then her aura grew above and behind her until she was at the edge of an egg shaped dome of utter destruction. Two wings suddenly shot out of the storm, made of energy themselves, and Riki took off leaving the afterimage of what could only have been a giant chicken. Her speed shot her across the path between them, jettisoning her in the air so that her linked hands could slam down on him with all the strength she possessed. She dropped the chicken down on him as well, her fists its beak while its talons tried to dig into his shoulders, only for its entire mass to come crashing down. The sheer size of it would be difficult to escape as it tried to engulf him in the entire body of destructive energy that couldn’t seem to decide if it wanted to rip him to bits, burn him into nothing, or crush him flat.

As her eyes locked with his, his pierced hers back. He knew that this wasn't over just yet. Suddenly, his instincts were met with an influx of even more energy. It seemed both fighters were now acting like complete animals, and she was a chicken. As the dome began to descend upon him, he looked around. This was what the crowd was here for, as they began to cheer. However, a few neglected to due to the fact that on contact, the Saiyan Butcher would be vaporized. But Butch knew something, and that was that he did still have a few more ways out of this. He put his hand to his forehead, and popped. Next thing, he was behind her again. The energy dissipated leaving a giant chicken sized crater, its vicious claws cutting even deeper into the arena, leaving Riki at the center of it. The attack had been a little taxing but she was far from done, and it seemed her antics had been equally as taxing for the Paladin, even if he escaped damage. ”Not bad,” she said while turning, her feet naturally sliding into a battle position. This was a new position however. It was not a boxer’s stance, nor any other hand to hand martial arts style. The position Riki took was one he knew well, and that was one for wielding a two handed sword. Perhaps at that same moment of recognition, the sword itself came into being. Riki’s golden ki rippled across her body, down her arms and into her hands before expanding outwards. At that moment, the blade was normal sized but the destructive power behind it could be felt from where Bersimmon stood. In fact, the sheer heat from the condensed energy was enough to draw sweat in defense. ”But can you dodge this?”
Once more her body was replaced with an after image as Riki expended all of her devastating speed into one action, driving herself around and then above Bersimmon while it looked like she was still preparing her attack. The katana length blade suddenly expanded in both length and width like an uncontrolled wild fire as she swung it down on him. To touch it was like touching his own plasma blade, an energy so powerful it felt like it could melt anything it came in contact with. The heavy and speedy strike Riki used caused it to crash through Bersimmon into the ground. Already the size of a small bus, it cut right through the already broken arena, creating what looking like a bottomless chasm he could lay victim in. The energy shrunk down again as she pulled her arms back, dropping down with a rush of ki to wherever Bersimmon had ended up, only to expand wildly once more as she made a horizontal slice this time, cutting through anything that was in the way of it, hopefully including Bersimmon. Even if it was just the air, the place that energy weapon passed through seemed to warp and protest against its assault. The blade shrank again, but did not disappear as she prepared herself for her next attack, or Bersimmon’s counter offensive.

As He eyed the girl, his mouth began to gape. A sword stance? Where's her sword? Then, a powerful field of cutting energy was brought into being by his foe. He quickly straightened himself out, and grabbed his sword-axe with both hands, raising it in defense despite the fact the artificial sword wielder could likely cut through it. Suddenly, however, Bersimmon felt weird. a strange dizziness was forcing itself onto Bersimmon as suddenly, the illusion around him stopped completely. Looking at Riki from below, he decided to move out of the way before everything turned back to normal. Suddenly, time resuming again, he saw the attack damage the terrain, wondering how he was still alive. What made time stop? Next, Riki came in, this time with a quick slice, and yet again, as her blade moved, the world stopped for bersimmon. he stepped away, lowering his body. he then charged in quickly and brought his swordto her, neglecting to touche her. Suddenly, the air chilled, freezing cold as it did. "You're a Saiyans' dream. We should go for a drink if you don't kill me here," He said with a thin smile as he held one hand over his head. Suddenly, a tiny orb came into being above his palm, with what looked like smaller orbs pulsating around it. "This is how I like to use the After-Image Technique." Suddenly, there were dozens of Bersimmon all over the arena. And each of them had another orb of energy in their hands, with thin smiles similar to the one the real one had had before. Then, each of them threw their orbs sequentially, one at a time, the orbs actually illusions, except for the real one. Alright...I've been following this battle properly this time and didn't need to catch up in terms of reading (but DID still need to do the dmg calcs xD)...and I am not going to lie, but it feels there's a lot of writer's fatigue currently present in both parties. I know that Yan is similar to me in that his writing can be highly affected by an opponent's quality (or apparent lack thereof.) and with what little he had, he still gave a good show. Bersimmon, I am not going to lie, you seem to be hit by a mixture of fatigue and panic, as your writing seems to have become...somewhat erratic, too brief to actually count as a proper battle post and lacks a lot of depth in most of it. It's a bit sad, since you are capable of writing way better than this and I hope you can give yourself some time to write your battle posts after this round. As such, the RP AWARD remains firmly in YAN/RIKI's court. One moment Bersimmon was below her, the next he was gone. She moved swiftly into her next strike, tracking his movements but he was gone again. Her speed tended to be unmatched, but the Paladin kept avoiding her. Maybe it was only by the skin of his teeth, but what mattered was he came out unscathed each time. She had to up her game. ”They can keep dreaming,” she replied. ”I’m one hundred percent human!”Before she could say anything about the drink however, Bersimmon multiplied. She could probably have figured out which was the real one, but not in enough time to avoid the attack. Instead, she would have to treat this as a barrage. A very fast barrage. She didn’t have a moment to lose and creating a thick aura of ki around her as a shield she jumped towards that deep crevice she just made before using her ki to shoot her down. At the same time, she pulled her hands together, and the arena itself bent to her will closing the earth above her and encasing her in her own little bunker. Despite these maneuvers, the attacks, or even attack, ripped through her created defenses, tearing apart the arena through Bersimmon’s super charged technique. Pulling her aura in tightly she unleashed her Chaos once more, the golden hue darkening as the impact reached her tight block, pushing her deeper down into the seemingly bottomless pit. For a moment, he might have thought he won. In fact, the entire crowd was silenced waiting to see if Riki reemerged. It took that moment but then her power level spiked from below and the caved in earth exploded outwards as she shot up in the air in a flash and then she was gone again, like she had frozen time. One moment she was above him the next she was on top of him, her fists pushed out as she attempted to ram into him in a vicious physical attack. That might have been enough for some, but Riki’s large aura had not released, covering her in even more destructive power that seemed to pour off her to try and drown him its power, the heat and force of it burning and tearing at his flesh. She didn’t stop there either, giving chase to his body and swinging her fist in a hard hook towards it, sending out another explosive punch.

Once more a shocked silence fell over the arena. The room was completely still as the crowd waited to see if Bersimmon would rise again. They waited, and when it was clear Riki’s final blow had ended the match, sound exploded once more in the shape of cheers.
Riki breathed in, taking in her damage and what she had accomplished in this fight. Overall, the show runners could be quite happy with this performance. It was a good fight.
The medics came to take Bersimmon away, working quickly to stop any life threatening wounds. They’d have him back to 100% fairly quickly. That was the second most important investment in making a battle arena filled town like Crater City. She could breathe easy and without worry. He’d be fine.
She didn’t really drink, but once she was healed up, she’d probably want to eat.
