[Complete] Mona[L] vs Kale (Ref: Aria)

Kale had been ambling under the shade of the trees on her way to Upa's village, boots squishing down on the moist grass. She carried about a dozen sticks in her arms while on her way back from gathering wood which she had to go a greater ways to get than she would have liked on account that it rained earlier and she had to set out to find dry wood. Tedious as it was she was at least thankful for something to do besides training on her own or going to the astral realm to meet another stranger. She was helping a friend, well a friend of a friend who'd take well to her if she played her cards right. After encountering a dagger brandishing mad woman she decided she had enough of the realm for the time being, at least with having met Upa she had a sparring partner and the chance to become less of a stranger to the man. She could have flown back but she decided to simply trek back like the rest of the villagers had to whenever they were sent out to gather. That way she'd stick out less. There was still her sense of fashion that blended more with the big city than it did with the simply clothes of the villagers and her spiky hair alluding to her being a Saiyan in a world where Saiyans were far less humble, peaceful, and reputable. 

Then suddenly the perception of an aura heavy presence hit her, making stop in her tracks. During all her time on Earth the only energy she encounter that surprised her was Gohan and Bra and that was mainly due to their youth. This energy however, it was closer to Kale's power than either of them and it was approaching making her all the more wary. Kale scanned the area her roving gaze falling on the sight of an only slightly familiar woman with an perturbing look that Kale knew better than she cared to. "You were on Earth?" Kale asked looking the Saiyan woman up and down, seeing her approach while putting on Earrings followed by throwing down a capsule and summoning a sword.

Kale grew nervous, thinking of Upa's village not many miles from where they were and in a world where people could discharge blasts that could lay waste to city's and far more with enough power it took a lot more miles before a place could be considered safe from such action. Kale began to release her own suppressed power, a faint green glowing glow surrounding her frame while a thin green coat of energy served as a protective layer. She dropped sticks to the ground, knowing she wouldn't be talking this woman out of what she wa planning. "I think we got off to a bad start before, but how about we settle this once and for all?" Mona said before shooting out a barrage of blats.

Kale floated off the ground and charge forward, an emerald aura surrounding her and leaving a fading trail. She  ducked under two before throwing a hook at her Mona's jaw, then weaving around the next two as she sent a hook with her other hand, before shifting to the side with a jerk, as the fifth and sixth came nearly grazing her before she shot a leg out at Mona's stomach. between the blast as she rapidly closed the distance, shifting to the side of the sixth blast as she swung two hooks at Mona's jaw before turning and shooting out quick kick to her stomach. 

The remaining half didn't take long to follow, Kale  quickly adjusted her stance widening it and extending them to form a guard before she began swiping her arms to each side, meeting each bolt with her wrist, sparks flying off her bracers as she swayed each blast while moving forward, after deflecting the last bolt, Kale launched her arm up to nail Mona under the chin with uppercut, followed by a hook to her cheek and a jab at her jaw. 

Mona released more energy from her hands, the first beam hitting Kale's torso and pushing her back, drawing a trench in the wet grass she stood on. All these energy attacks made her feel more like she was fighting a Mage than a blade wielding warrior. The next blast came before she could steady her footing, pushing her back and stinging as the last beam carved through the depreciated barrier, she generated another coat of aura to further dampen but it still burned. 

After the light and smoke finally faded Kale saw her opponent closing in. She scoffed her muscles tensing before she sprung toward Mona. Kale was either going to beat sense into this woman or beat the senses out of her. Kale opened with a quick jab at the woman's nose follow a hook and elbow, each strike having Kale lurching toward Mona like a steel spring, released and ready to lash out. 

She followed with an elbow toward her face, lowering and snapping two hooks at Mona's sides. Kale followed the combination with an outstretched hand at Mona's shoulder, followed by open palm under her chin, then a double fisted punch at her body to send her into slam into the nearest tree. 

Kale charged, eager to help her find a tree if she hadn't already, moving in to slam her shoulder into Mona's chest before sending two heavy wide punches at her head. Kale broke into a flurry of blows throwing punches at Mona's tempo, jaw, stomach, and ribs all while moving in keep Mona under pressure until she broke under it.

“So, just revenge?”Kale thought to herself. After Kale wakes up from her time in the Astral Realm, Kale expected to have a break from the mad woman for at least a while and never meet this woman again. Unfortunately, this foe had found her quickly, and she was tenacious. Seeing and feeling all those hits land was satisfying, though Mona showed to be able to endure them well enough to keep going. “You Bitch!” Mona exclaimed. Kale paid no mind to the insult, though there was some satisfaction in knowing she was hitting her nerves as hard as her body. The vitriol told Kale that this lunatic wasn’t impervious to pain or frustration.



Mona shouted as her power surged powerfully. She rushed toward Kale with an uncanny boost of vigor and speed. Kale shifted to the side, pivoting in a jerk, barely turning away from Mona’s fist, leaving her knuckles to brush across the fabric of her shirt. Kale threw two punches at Mona’s jaw before snapping her at Mona’s knee. Another came for her face, leaving her only space to lean while turning her cheek, barely escaping the Mage’s knuckles close enough for the heat of her ki to cast its warmth on her face. The third blow, aimed at her chest, was met with Kale reaching arm out toward Mona’s punch, Kale’s wrist catching Mona’s arm at the bend of it to stop the blow before it made it to her.



Kale felt the sudden burst of power fade just as Mona clamped her hands together and swung with them. Kale lunged forward, snapping her head at Mona’s face to intercept the wide swing with a headbutt. Kale then threw two more punches at Mona’s face.



Kale pressed forward and resolved to stay on the offensive. Mona was aggressive; the answer was to meet it, to beat it. Kale balled up one hand, placed her palm over it, and hurled it to smack across Mona’s jaw to show her what a hammer blow felt like. Afterward, she grabbed Mona’s shirt and pulled her in as she shot a knee at her stomach. She kept hold of the shirt, spun, and tried to throw Mona into a tree next to them.



She flew toward the Mage, crouched down, and shot a jab, followed by a straight with her other hand and then a hook aimed at her stomach.



She followed with an elbow at her head, then an uppercut under her chin, then grabbing her at her shirt to pull her in for another knee.



Kale closed the combination flurry with another punch, followed by another knee before she then tried to pick Mona up over head and then try to slam her on the ground.

--Another series of blows managed to run flush on her opponent. Kale almost couldn’t believe how well she was doing against someone so close to her in power. Still, she knew better than to get comfortable in a fight. She remained wary of whatever reserves or tricks this opponent had. She certainly had chin. Kale wasn’t the only suspecting tricks. It seemed. “I don’t know what kind of trick you’re playing at,” Mona said. “I don’t even know who you are,” Kale said exasperatedly. In both these encounters, Mona storms up to her, looking for a fight, but she thinks Kale is playing some trick. What surprised her more was that she claimed she’d beat her. Kale could respect the drive to keep going, though she wasn’t sure how the confidence would be justified.

Mona’s motivation continued to elude her. She knew this round was retaliation for what happened in the astral realm, but what was the motive for the first time, wanting a good fight, simply wanting blood? Kale decided now wasn’t the time to muse on it. It wasn’t like she was inclined to explain to herself.

As Mona went to draw her sword, Kale widened her stance and raised her arms to brace herself for the next strike. The horizontal strike sent a ki-infused slash in Kale’s direction. She momentarily raised her arms and reinforced her body with ki before Mona’s slash made it to her. Sparks flew, and her bracers chimed at the moment of impact, sending a shock through Kale’s arm. While pushing against her, Kale held her ground against its might.

She watched Mona leap back and ignite the form Kale had become all too familiar with while seeing Saiyans from two different worlds. Her power surpassed Kale in her current state by a considerable majin. Kale wondered if she should kick things up a notch. ” No,” Kale thought to herself. ” This isn’t bad enough for me to risk taking Upa’s village or the nearest City with her. This form will do, considering the power gap isn’t beyond manageable.”

When Mona brought the sword down, Kale crossed her arms in an X shape as she raised them to intercept the blade. The impact of the collision caused the ground to quake. The weight of the slash forced her to her knees, and she let the weight of the slash force her down as she turned to deflect the blade.

She pivoted to follow Mona as she tried to maneuver and blocked another swing with her gauntleted wrist. Mona followed with a twirl and a series of slashes. Kale swayed her arms to parry the slashes while moving toward the Mage. Each brisk swipe was paired with a hip turn to help her meet each strike amid its swing. On the last slash, Kale clapped her hands on the sword's flat, stopping the slash. She then pulled in an attempt to drag Mona closer before snapping her elbow at Mona’s face before cocking her head back and snapping it forward to hit the Mage’s face with a headbutt. Kale then released the blade and lowered her stance before shooting a barrage of punches at Mona’s stomach, all linear blows, jabs, and straights that rapidly shot forward and back like pistons. Kale then rose and continued throwing more punches, firing another volley of jabs and straights at Mona’s head. The strikes came quickly her fist blurring as she struck. As Kale advanced, she added rounder blows to the mix, throwing hooks to the body, starting at the stomach and working her way to Mona’s ribs. The next set of nearly half dozen moving down to her stomach, the next set striking at one side of her ribs, then the next set targeting the opposite side and from there the sets rotated around different parts of her lower torso before the last combination shot towards her face and head. They were lighter than the majority of her punches before, but they were brisk and precise besides their seeming wildness, and they came in volume.

“You don’t know who I am, but I know who you are. You are fabled to be the reincarnation of the legendary super saiyan! Such a creature shouldn’t be allowed to exist! That’s how you’ve been beating me. That’s how you continue to beat me! It’s cheating, an unfair advantage! You must be purged!”

The evil that clouded her mind blinded her to any sense of reason. Even her best sword attack hadn’t met its mar, making her consider her options. She had plenty of time to think while getting knocked around like a rag doll. She managed to intercept the first couple rounds of attacks with her sword, expertly blocking the strikes but her opponent’s speed was just too much to keep up with. She got whacked and dunked on which was simply embarrassing.

Mona’s bleeding forehead was a testament to how much damage she’d taken so far, but she still didn’t feel like she was truly outmatched. After all, this had only proven that the legendary super saiyan could pack a punch. To be expected.

Mona flared her ki as she leapt back and the next moment she would appear behind Kale with a ball of ki pointed right at her head. It was practically undodgeable at this range, but Kale undoubtedly had gone up against similar dishonest tactics in the past.

After that, an energy wave errupted from Mona’s hand to seal in the flavor.

Kale’s head tilted at Mona’s explanation. It made her think of another Saiyan she met while braving the horrors of the large, pale woman’s land. What did these people from this other world know that her comrades didn’t? What even Kale didn’t fully understand? After Kale worked Mona with another barrage of punches, Kale took it as a good sign before Mona suddenly disappeared.



Kale felt Mona reemerge behind her, but before she could turn, the blast was discharged. Its explosive flurry splashed against her and sent her ragging and dolling across the dirt. Just when she stopped tumbling, she felt another wave explode against her. She groaned and shook her head, fighting the grogginess and pains that were radiating through her body to get up before she’d get bombarded more. She scurried to her feet, encouraged by Mona’s exponential rise in power.

“Blasting back won’t work while she’s transformed.” She quickly reached for the pouch clipped onto her skirt and pulled out a blue capsule. She clicked it and tossed it in Mona’s direction. From a puff of smoke came out a small round device that started to glow and release an indigo light that expanded and swirled as it appeared to open a portal in the surrounding space. Leaves and rubble gravitated toward it, and when Mona released the torrent of the blast, they diverted from their path and went toward the wormhole, each bolt disappearing into it.

It would only absorb so much energy. Kale dashed toward Mona, getting within reach just as the 12th bolt got absorbed in the device. She stuck her hands out, jabbing her fingers into Mona’s shoulders, disrupting the flow of ki and locking the energy in her body before the next two dozen could be discharged.

Kale followed by throwing a flurry of punches at Mona’s head, shooting jabs and straights to either knock the Mage out or goad her to raise her guard. With each blow, she advanced to keep her foe under pressure. She needed momentum if she was going to overtake this powered-up foe without resorting to transforming. “If you know what I am. The intelligent thing would have been to stay away.”

Kale opened the next combo with a knee to Mona’s stomach. “At least your pain was imaginary last time.” She brought her hands together and swung them up to slam under Mona’s chin with a rising hammer blow. Elbows and hooks to jaw closed the next set.

Kale lowered her level and started shooting punches at Mona’s stomach, working on pounding it with repeated jabs and straights until every beat of air vacated her lunges.

She then shot her leg out to send Mona flying back with a push kick, following Mona and swinging a hook into her ribs. Then, she pulled back the same hand and launched it up to slam under her chin with an uppercut. Kale then placed her hands on the side of her head. “Solar Flare!” A bright light erupted from where Kale stood, threatening to overwhelm Mona’s vision with an overwhelmingly brilliant flash.

Mona’s exclamation about how someone inevitably rises to defeat her eyes widen in disbelief. She sounded like she thought she was some sort of paragon of good, and Kale was this unspeakable evil. “You’ve come out of nowhere trying to attack me with a blade weapon twice, and you think I need to be stopped?” Kale was starting to worry that she’d contract this woman’s lunacy.

She saw Mona pull out a sort of bean and finally have an opening to chew it after her assault was done. Kale growled, annoyed, upon feeling Mona’s energy return to her. This was going to take longer than she planned. The idea of ascending and closing this with one big attack came as a tempting thought to her, but she pushed it down. Winning this would be harder to do in base form, but it is still doable.

She widened her stance and extended her arms forward. Kale sprung forward and closed the distance with a hook to Mona’s jaw before throwing more punches at her, starting at her face, then working down to her body and sending an uppercut toward her chin to close it.

Kale shifted around Mona, pivoting to get behind while one of her arms tried to hook under Mona’s to hold her in place. Kale then started repeatedly trying to punch Mona in the back of the head.

Still not done, Kale tried to spin Mona to face her before shooting another knee in the stomach, then finally letting go to throw another barrage of punches. Starting at the stomach and then rotating around to test her rib cage. Eventually, the blows slowed down, and Kale went in for sets of heavy swings to the head, followed by a quick kick to the stomach between each set in an attempt to wind and rattle her opponent.
