Axel - Chapter 2: Let's Get Ready to Rumble!
The blue-haired man found himself a nice opening in the middle of the woods on Earth to be used as his camp. It was a nice and secluded area far from any towns or cities so as to not be bothered. As he sat on top of a log next to a burning fire pit that he made, his cat popped out of the bushes with a fish in his mouth to throw onto the flames. He looked over at Axel who looked like he was dozing off.
Inside of the mind of the Curse Hunter was that he didn’t want to hunt down cursed spirits anymore, it was never something he wanted to do in the first place. His dream was for a chance to be like his parents when they first met. He heard stories from his mother that the two were Gladiators who fought inside of a crowd for entertainment. It’s what he wanted to do too, but got caught up in the mess that he was instead.
As soon as he closed his eyes and then reopened them, the environment around him changed. The blue-haired man noticed that he was standing in the middle of a giant concrete stadium with a crowd of thousands watching from above. He looked around and also noticed that his attire had changed to that of a typical gladiator. His trusty blade, however, was the same. He looked over across from him to see if he had an opponent.
“In this corner, standing at 6 feet 1, Axel Gaia and hailing from Planet Earth!,” a booming voice said, “And now for his opponent… who might be pulled from their slumber next.”
