"] | Frieza Word Count: 537 / 537 Passive: Adv II |
“You’ve got that look on your face again,” Frieza said as he opened his eyes, watching as Cassis casually strolled into his room, carrying her usual smirk. “What is it this time?” He asked, knowing full well it was going to be some other form of training that she’d whisked up for him.
“Oh, my Lord Frieza,” the Angel began, rolling her eyes. “Anything would think that you don’t enjoy the methods I employ to train you,” she continued, walking further into the room. “Don’t forget that it was your choice to accept my invitation to become a Destroyer God. I did warn you that it would take a lot of effort,”
This time it was the Changeling’s turn to roll his eyes, as he stood up from his pod. She was, of course, correct. In truth, it wasn’t that he didn’t enjoy parts of the training that she laid out for him, particularly when it involved employing his special talents to cause an abundance of harm on unsuspecting victims. However, there were still elements of his former life and circumstances that he missed, which often put him in a rather bad, and argumentative mood.
“I suppose you have a point. But that still doesn’t answer my question,” the Galactic Emperor retorted, taking a small leap out of his pod, hitting the floor with a slight thud. “You may think that you’re being coy, but I’ve grown to know you fairly well, so spit it out before I lose my patience,”
Cassis’ smirk grew larger as she watched the little alien get all riled up. She couldn’t help herself, she found it humorous watching him throw minor tantrums, both of them knowing that he couldn’t physically do anything about it. “I’ve found someone else for you to hone your skills against,” the Angel said calmly, not rising to Frieza’s level. “But this is another in which you must show some form of restraint,”
“So you’re saying I can’t kill this one?” Frieza sighed. “I swear you relish in taking the fun out of things,”
“There is more to being a Destroyer than destruction,” Cassis reminded him as she held out her hand, beckoning Frieza to grab on to her.
“So you keep saying,” the Changeling said, placing his hand on the Angel’s, as the two of them vanished from the ship, reappearing halfway across the Earth. Unlike their previous location, the sun shone brightly against the backdrop of the blue sky.
The two of them promptly let go of each other, as Cassis pointed someone out in the distance. “The opponent I’ve selected for you is there,” she said. “Have fun,”
Frieza gazed at the man…or the boy. He couldn’t quite tell. Potentially he was somewhere in between. At the very least, he appeared to be human, as was common with Earthlings, in spite of the fact that he’d run into his fair share of monkeys already. Clearly they had spread like the plague in this Universe, a notion that made Frieza feel physically sick.
“You there,” the Changeling called out, trying to get the boy’s attention. “You’re in the presence of the mighty Lord Frieza, so I would suggest you introduce yourself at once,”
