Jianghue pouted as Hyggelige gasped, as she had forgotten the movie altogether. Jantellovene took a look back, only to see the scene where the mutilated toys were cornering the protagonists, "Wvhat the...?" she exhaled with a look of disgust at the baby head with the spider legs.

“Didn’t play with those kind of toys when you were a wee one Jant?” Yan teased with another grin. Despite his disinterest in the movie, he was following along as it played in the background, mostly from his habit of staying alert to everything. They had been kidnapped to Sid’s and now the vicious boy was a direct threat and his toys were potentially an enemy... “I think they’re cute.”

"How--no!" Jantellovene wrinkled her nose at the foul creature, "How they cute, huh?"
"You seem the type to break all your toys, really," Jianghue interjected with a grin.
Hyggelige sunk deeper into the cushions, evidently not sharing Yan's sentiment in that regard.

“She does have quite the temper,” Yan said thoughtfully to Jianghue’s comment. “I can’t imagine what she was like as a terrible two...or whatever the Keliouxan equivalent is.”

"Yeah, they live for so long," Jianghue nodded, "It's like, reverse dog years or something?"
"You call me a dog?" Jantellovene frowned as Omert sighed. Juch placated the Keliouxian with another drink as Hyggelige looked on as the scenes moved to Sid dismantling the toys with wide eyes. This wasn't as cute as she had thought the movie was going to be.

"Yeah, sounds bout right," the Lismian chirped in return, not noticing Mr. Fields waddle up and swipe some of her salted peanuts away.
Jantellovene huffed, narrowing her eyes. Juch sighed to himself.

“Oh youth, where have you gone,” Yan hummed to himself leaning back. “It’s better to be young than old foogeys.”
