Bulma vs Azazel
Today, the Astral Realm created her current position. She was walking through the stalls and streets outside of the Arlian Arena. The buglike aliens that ran the shops beckoned her and others, and the Saiyan presence had almost vanished entirely. The last time she had seen this place was through her son’s scouter back when he was the fallen Overlord of Arlia. His last moments were recorded as his skull was crushed by a rogue android the Arlians had rebuilt and activated in their hopes for rebellion. The Saiyans hadn’t been completely ousted despite his death, but they were unorganized and uninterested and the fires of rebellion had quieted however momentarily. Another war would likely break out eventually, but for now the fighting race felt almost content. It was always a tricky feeling though, wasn’t it? Was it really content or was it just the eye of the storm?

Azazel's eyes opened, his consciousness having manifested once more in the astral realm as he meditated back in the world of the living. This world was foreign to him, his travels thus far in the mortal realm having not taken him to a place quite like this in modern times. But he knew why he was here, the human female had some un natural ability to always be there when he entered this realm. He could not see her yet, but he felt her... the chaos seed embedded in his body acted in response towards its counter part. The prince exhaled slightly and put his hands in his pockets, a cigar manifesting itself freshly lit at the corner of his mouth.
"What a shit hole." He murmured as he looked around, his eyes flashing in annoyance.

“Ain’t it?” Bulma said with a snicker. “Poor place has been invaded and conquered so many times the people hardly know what to do with themselves. Rebellion actually rose up a few years ago, but at the end of the day they didn’t know how to close the deal.”

The primordial just shook his head as he looked around, his gaze settling on the human woman. "Bulma... Always Bulma..." He chuckled as he exhaled a cloud of smoke and turned to face the demonically tainted human. "Quite the different from the little coffee shop last time."

“Were you hoping for someone else?” she asked in a gentle tease. “Been making friends?” she added, with actual curiosity. Friend was probably too strong a word, but surely he was out making bonds whether they were weak or strong.
“I came here to make a friend,” she offered, though there was a small amount of deviousness in her tone that suggested it wasn’t as innocent as all that.

Azazel just raised his eyebrows.... he make friends? He almost chortled out loud at the very thought, but tools for specific purposes were always valuable. Most mortals were just tools that could be easily discarded and his opinion of them had not really changed all that much.
"Mmm... I highly doubt you would go to all the trouble to just make nice." A dubious grin etched across the fallen ones face as a slight breeze rippled his trench coat.

“Oh no,” Bulma countered with a grin. “I had no plans of doing so through niceness~” She looked back ahead, gesturing to the only thing that actually seemed grand about the place: the arena. “But bonds are useful you know. Mortals are capable of amazing things, shoved into the right circumstances. The idea of friendship, companionship, and loyalty are all great tools in getting them there.”

Azazel feigned interest and turned his attention toward the arena. Combat always amused him to an extent. He had grown bored of late and was considering taking his boredom out on some surprised civilization or some trained combatant. He had yet to fully decide.
Azazel: Combat, VR Octagon
Bulma: Human, Combat, VR Octagon
