Chaos scowled at the sound of his blade clanging against Broly's reinforced belly. The saiyan scampered out of stabbing range which darkened expression even further.
"This would be a lot easier if you stand still you know."
He twirled the dark blade at his side in a magnificent flourish that would have taken another man's off just for attempting. The mesmerizing pattern of blurring red almost looked like a blooming rose until it came to a dead stop, tip pointing dangerously at Broly.
A smile broke his dark expression. Behind him, fifty crimson portals formed rippled in reality. Each gateway became punctuated with the protruding hilts of otherworldly weapons.
With a casual swipe of his sword, the portals unleashed their payload in a horrifying salvo of metal projectiles.

The brute scoffed as the cocky emperor flaunted a beautiful sputtering illustration with his blade, then coming to a sudden stop with the weapon extended.
show off, he thought under his breath.
Without a movement, a surreal number of holes breached the sky behind him, each one housing a sharp foreign death tool that were cocked back like a gun.
They all fired simultaneously as Broly greeted them with a booming roar, his ki erupting from his core and manifesting into hundreds of beams of energy that moved to intercept the projectiles. Sharp pains dig in his skin as multiple swords, knives and spears slashed at his flesh. a small price to pay, he decided before moving forward.
He dashed toward the celestial, exposing his axe with a precise lung in the last moment. Then one hand released the hilt and was thrusted out to grip at the face. He followed immediately with a bright violet wave of ki that came from between his teeth that shot out like a cannon, streaking after his foe.

Chaos sneered at the lunging saiyan, catching one of his blades in midair to block Broly's axe. The weight of it was unexpected, shattered Chaos' blocking weapon and sent him flying.
He caught the shimmering ground and came to a skidding halt. He lifted his head, a blast of saiyan energy already upon him.
"Fu--"
His words were swallowed by the pounding explosion that followed its detonation. His entire figure vanished behind a veil of purple flames and embers.
A sudden pulse of Chaos' ki blew apart the curtain of fire and smoke. As the air cleared the smoke-laden Emperor came into view. There was a brief pause. Then, he was gone.
Overwhelming speed took him behind the massive enemy, arm extending towards him, black ooze of the God Slayer symbiote morphed into a brutal series of spikes that lashed out across Broly's entire back.

The saiyan coughed up a mouthful of saliva as the multipurpose weapon tore at his back, raking trails along his tough skin. Broly threw his hand out in a wide sweep as his turned to face chaos, then his opposite fist came down with force, cracking the pavement between his knuckles as he followed through.
Broly leapt into the air with a quick pounce then cupped two hands together. With a blurred flick, dense energy erupted out of his hands and onward to char and swallow his opponent whole.

Chaos narrowly avoided the massive first, deftly leaning inches out of range as it slammed through the ground.
'Impressive,' was his only thought as Broly displayed fluidity that betrayed his large frame.
Broly did well to cover up the gap in speed by making every step count so far, no wasted movement, a true warrior in every sense of the word.
But so was Chaos.
The Emperor roared his defience, barely intercepting Broly's energy with an attack of his own. The two titanic powers collided just yards before him, now caught in a war of wills, Chaos' ki gradually overwheled and pressed Broly's attack straight back at him.

ah shit, here we go again, he thought to himself as he felt a resistance on the the business end of his beam. The struggle lasted just seconds, though he stressed as if he was battling for entire minutes straight.
The outcome left Broly stun and sizzling, body hot and sore as if he fought with one hundred men, after just a single blast. He pushed shattered shards of the broken mirrored flooring from his fingers from his knees.
so damn casual, but so formidable, he thought as he made his way back to his feet. He stood panting before he felt it, the restitching of his skin and repairing of his scars. After a few seconds, his many blemishes and scratches slowly faded from his body, leaving him appearing as fresh as his arrival.
oh I like this realm, he said to himself as he reloaded his ki into one hand and relaunched his attack.

Chaos only smiled as he watched the saiyan recover. It was expected in this realm, and it was what let Chaos unload a bit more than he would have in reality.
As Broly unleashed another world ending blast Chaos made no effort to dodge. He spread his arms wide and let it come. They had played long enough and his matters in the real world were calling him back.
"Good show. Until next time, Broly, " he said with a laugh as he vanished behind the beam and was vaporized, effectively thrusting his mentalself back into his body.

Broly watched as the devilish man disappeared behind the veil of ki, leaving him quietly alone in the mysterious dimension.
...what the fuck yo, he thought as he stood there by himself. As the rush of battle drained out of his body, his attention fell back on the world around him. Useful. Unique. He should visit again, if he could make the time.
The corner of his lips raised in a grin before he took a deep breath and made his own exit, back to the comforts of his spacecrafts cabin.
