"Then I will make sure you have nothing to be concerned about. I have more than just the power, I have...the resources. Connections, and strength in my circle of acquaintances." She then turned around and looked about the place.
"Want to learn about some of these gods? I mean I have like 5 of them in chains."

The destroyer was finding this conversation rather interesting so he figured it was the best chance for him to get the information he needed now, "So then what are your resources and who are connections that help you do this? It seems like a rather risky job to be doing without knowing for sure you will succeed."

"Former Damaskian Commander of Defense, right here." She pointed her thumb to her own chest. "I have a bit of pull with a few soldiers still in the R and D department, and despite being considered a deserter, I kept quite a few loyal connections on that front. Most notable is probably the most resourceful man I have ever known.... Yan Cass. Now that is my insurance policy if everything goes south.
"He is probably the best investment I ever made."
She grinned and turned back to Beerus. "Oh! I'm currently working my way up in the channels of Hell too. I'm pretty good and rising in rank. Been doing that shit all my life. Damaskia and now Hell. Sheesh, I don't know when to fucking quit."

The names and connections made sense. The fact that she was part of the Damaskian Shadowguard was rather interesting as well. Yan not mentioning her, well Yan always kept things close to the vest. She spoke of them all as tools though to her advancement. It was interesting to hear.
"Well the Shadowguard from what I know isn't the most forgiving bunch, but I am sure you know what you are doing. You should also be cautious when dealing with the soldiers of Hell. They tend to have their own motives that heavily outweigh whatever you think you are getting from them."

"Yea, I know about Hell. I have my own agenda for them too. The hierarchy is weird and I'm a bit on the bottom, but I'm working on it. I do have a request from you, it's a bit selfish and you have no reason to comply. It would be interesting, though."
She smiled as she closed her eyes.

It was always this way. Lord Beerus had seen this kind of thing over and over again. Mortals were friendly with the God of Destruction, but they did normally want something from it at the end of the day. He wasn't going to be that judgmental about it though. The deity understood what it was like to be a mortal too and so if they just asked for help or gave him a request he didn't truly despise it all the time. Sometimes it was actually something entertaining and enjoyable for him too.
"I don't normally do requests, but if you have something that you think would be enjoyable then I might be open to listen. I'm not a complete monster after all." He said with a sadistic grin on his face.

"I've tasted death and it bores me. In this world there is no end apparently. You die and somehow you still have access to this world. It's such a redundant cycle. When I feel that I've completed my duty as a Gatekeeper, I want you to destroy me."
Her grin move to almost match his own sadism, but it was just a tone underneath it. "I have the answer to the question of what comes after death. I want to know the answer to what comes after destruction."

Her request was simple. It was to the point and it was something that she would need him in order to accomplish in this Universe. Lord Beerus heard her words and found them incredibly interesting. Wanting to be destroyed was not something he heard often, but it was something he was more than capable of doing. The deity thought about it for a moment, "No grand place like the Next Dimension exists when you are destroyed. I can't say I know what it is like, but I do know it is a final outcome. Once you are destroyed..." He paused for a moment as if he was trying to figure something out now. It took only a few moments of silence, "Actually I don't know what will happen at all now. The rifts in the Universe that allow people to come back from death might also impact destruction of an individual. I will have to look into that."
