“You don’t think they’re fascinating?” Yan asked, leaning his elbow on the table to rest his chin in his hand. “The things they do for what they are passionate about...You became a god of destruction! It feels limitless and yet failure is always equally imminent. You can get good at reading people, at predicting outcomes, but there are always surprises and hopes.”

Yan seemed to suddenly show his passion in that moment as his interest at least seemed to spark him. The deity scoffed a little at the notion that you can actually predict outcomes of mortals, "You can't predict mortals 100% accurately. You can try, but you will always find that someone will do something you don't expect. It is just how things work."

“Of course,” Yan said with a smile. “You can think you truly know a person and then they still do something entirely unpredictable~” His gaze shifted back out the window. “People never get boring.”

Lord Beerus laughed a little, "Trust me some people are certainly boring but I tend to destroy them when I meet them."
YanLast Friday at 8:43 PM
“Boring people can be the most fun!” Yan argued with a grin. “More work though. Usually requires a lot of manipulation but that’s fun too. Eventually they reach a point where they’re interesting.”

"I'm not much of a manipulator," The deity said with a smirk, "I'm kind of a God of action. Well that is when I'm awake."

“Whis seems like a good manipulator,” Yan said with a small smirk of his own. It certainly could be a task to get Beerus active from his naps. The right incentive was probably needed when he felt especially lazy and told him the universe was well enough in balance. “You’ve been pretty active this go around though.”

The smirk from Yan was returned by the smirk from Lord Beerus, "Well he can be, but mostly he just points out facts to make things happen. As far as my activity, I was motivated to do a little more this time around. The Omni King wouldn't settle for less."
