"Hmm," Juch murmured as he processed Yan's words. His expression, unlike Yan's, remained the same. It usually did. He lowered his arm back down to his side.
"How do you propose I do that, then?"

Yan glanced up to Juch with a mixture of curiosity and skepticism. “If I knew how to make myself want and not want things I’d also be spared a lot of trouble,” he said thoughtfully, leaning back against the wall.

"I suppose so," Juch chuckled a bit with a small smile, "But having those kinds of wants isn't a bad thing by itself. It all feeds into the market."
"How about this then: how do you propose we engage in those physical exchanges? Do you want to sleep together again?"

“No,” Yan said a bit idly as he looked forward. “I don’t want you to force yourself just to feed the market~” he added with a small smile before looking back to him. “Besides, as Anna only accepted after almost killing me a few times, one person is usually not enough~“

"Mm," Juch let out an exhale as he adjusted his neck posture a bit, "Duly noted."
The saga with Anna seemed so distant, but it was the spark of so much that happened leading up to present day. "Was there a catalyst to this? Or has this been bothering you for a while now?"

“I needed a highly skilled magic user,” Yan offered, leaning back again and resting his head against the wall. “And Lilim took advantage of a certain situation I provided, so I thought it just to force her to do it.”

“Can you really move past a force with so much sway in this dimension?” he asked in turn making a face. He hated to admit Lilim had any power in this realm, but she was definitely a force within it. She was there lurking and waiting and meddling in his plans even if she didn’t mean to. “She’s got spies and minions on Kelioux and in hell. We were always bound to end up bumping heads again at some point.”
