Yan Cass VS Juch
At Yan's question, Juch let out a chuckle. Unperturbed at the admission, Juch turned his gaze back towards the ceiling, "That's not something I'd expect you to say," he remarked, "Has she moved on from being a piece on the game board, hm?"

“Oh no,” Yan replied immediately, shaking his head. “She’ll always just be another piece with her aims. If she wanted something bigger, maybe she’d become a player, but universal domination isn’t worth much in my eyes,” he explained with some distaste. Lilim knew full well what he felt about her aims. Even building her own empire just put her near the level of someone like Adel. He was there to cause issue, a piece you needed to move or move around with care, but he was still a piece on the board. A more important piece that controlled other pieces, but a piece none the less.
“But she’s a piece that I cannot completely knock over just yet...perhaps that’s my problem.” It wasn’t that he couldn’t knock her over. He had the means. He had the means to completely destroy Lilim and everything she built, but he could not let go of the moves he could make with her still on the board. There were some truly brilliant ones.
“I weigh more benefits to keeping her on the board, but probably don’t give the cons directly affecting myself and no one else enough credit.”

"It is all part of the game," Juch offered, seeming to have a little more energy now that he has been recharged a bit more, "Taking over the world, immortality--having those kinds of wants isn't a bad thing by itself. It all feeds into the market."
"I do agree that she doesn't have to be knocked over. A board with not enough pieces would be boring. But if a piece can't be controlled any more...well..." he trailed off, leaving the rest clear, but unsaid. Did it have to be said? Lilim bringing up her own galactic empire was one that Juch didn't mind, even if it directly affected Kelioux's interests. At a fundamental level, his own interests were not as closely linked to the empire as it may seem on the surface.
However, it appeared that Yan was having problems with Lilim. And that was something more concerning to the well being of the game.

“I think it’s more a problem of controlling myself,” Yan said leaning his head back to the wall and looking up as if some kind of answers would be found up there. “Bulma confronted her for me awhile back. Lilim said she didn’t mean to change me or control me, but she made a horrible move in fear, and that she still wanted me as I actually was. No majin. No control.”

The processing of Yan's words didn't take long at all, but Juch let a pause linger before he looked back at Yan, "What was she so afraid of?"
YanToday at 2:46 PM
“Losing me,” Yan answered with ease, though he kept his gaze upward in thought. The irony of the situation was lost on no one. In her fear of losing Yan she had trapped him and damaged him so greatly she had immediately lost him as soon as the bond broke. Now however...
JuchToday at 2:55 PM
"Seems like now is not the case," Juch replied with a small grin, "Fear can...obstruct reason."
YanToday at 3:09 PM
“Not the case of what?” Yan asked, looking down to him.
