What an amusing child. Juch cupped his cheek with a hand, his arm propping his head up with his elbow on the table before him, "Well, that's very generous of you. Alright then, I'll accept. Why don't you order something for me then, Barkley?"

"Okay, you do realize I'm cheap right? You are getting congee, nice and basic. But its good for you right? Opens up the ki channels nice and well." At that Barkley waved down the waiter. "Hey, add my guest to the receipt. He'd like what I just had. I'm good with seconds as well."
The waiter nodded and left to complete her request. "So what is it that you do, Mr. Juch sir?"

"I appreciate nice and basic," Juch grinned, "Sometimes there's no need to add any bells and whistles on there. Well thank you."
After the waiter left, Barkley returned back to her original question. Now there was no need to dodge it any longer, "Well, I do many things," he began, "In Kelioux, I'm a researcher of ki. I occasionally teach, if it's needed; I haven't been needed for that these days."

"Oh? Interesting. So you are also a teacher like my mom?" Barkley hummed and placed her hand upon her chin. " Do you do private tutoring? I'm not all that great with my ki and stuff"

"I'm sure I can offer my services to you," Juch nodded, maintaining his smile, "Have you also tried any of the classes from the Academy?"

"Yes, I have been regularly going to a few of the classes my mom teaches, and she... she teaches alot but I am sure that is because of her big head that she has, with her being an android and all." She laughed at calling her mom big headed. "A few other sages and what not, but what I like to do is get everyone's take on every subject."

"Hm, that is interesting," Juch nodded as he folded his hands in his lap. The waiter came back with the porridge, and the android thanked him before turning back to Barkley, "Your mother at the Academy--hm, I might sit in sometime. You drew my curiosity."
"Do you have a favorite subject then?"

"Math, obviously. Numbers are the building blocks of the universe. They never change and they are always right." She took in the thought of him sitting in on one of her mother's lectures and laughed even more at the eventual sightings of Barkley being fussed at for falling a sleep in class.
"I'd love to see you there one day."
