Chaos: The Cosmic Emperor sat in a comfortable, medatative position. Dozens of candles birthed dancing shadows around the dark lord but he saw none of it. His eyes were closed and his consciousness was far, far away.
When his eyelids slid open he found himself in a frozen flat plane. Tufts of powdered snow raced across the empty expanse, carried by the biting winds.
Chaos crossed his arms and regarded the empty world with a grin. He was alone for now, but soon the other would arrive. Normally this trips to the astrael realm were left to chance. Not this one though, for he summoned a very specific being to join him amidst the shimmering snow dunes.
Azazel: The prince exhaled deeply as he hovered above the atmosphere of the Kanassa world, his mind wandering in its own dark abyss as he floated in the weightlessness of the tangible world and the expanse of pitch black darkness that stretched for eternity. The inky blackness of frozen death that would force mortal creatures to die in its grip. The primordial leaned back as he floated, as if he was immersed in a pool floating in the water. Thats when he felt the drawing effect of his gem, someone with a connection to him was summoning him from the astral plane of existence... beckoning to him for a meeting. There was very few creatures that would be bold enough to call the prince of darkness for a meeting so his interest was peaked. Letting his consciousness fall into the in between realm his eyes opened, a frozen tundra laid out before him as a gentle frozen breeze rustled his long crimson coat.
"Quite the long distance call Chaos..." Azazel raised an eye brow as he lowered the sunglasses that had manifested upon his face, his devilish grin spreading across his lips.
Chaos: Chaos grinned as he felt the unmistakable presence of the primordial being. He nodded along with Azazel's words.
"Put it on my tab," he replied with a chuckle. "But I do appreciate you coming on such short notice. I just have a question about this little scamp," he said while motioning to the dark mass slithering along his right arm.
"She's becoming harder to satisfy...ever since we've been in contact it has grown impossibly ravenous. Tell me, how can appease the God Slayer? I've fed it mortal and divine souls alike, but she's become-- disinterested? I'm not sure the word, but she wants more."
Azazel: Azazel smirked, his sharp fangs showing as they protruded past his lips. God Slayer would always be ravenous, nothing would ever be quite enough for the dark weapon. The more you fed it the more it desired to be fed and to be fed greater and more potent souls.
“You have spoiled the weapon... made it desire more powerful and savory souls... you must not forget you are the master in the relationship... she can and feed herself... so you must simply either starve her to bring her under heel... or step up your offerings... the likes of destroyers and their attendants... the Kai’s... and the realm where the gods call home....”
Azazel chuckled as he spoke.
“I had fashioned God Slayer for that purpose, but I can promise you that symbiote weapon is like a ravenous black hole.... nothing WILL ever be enough.”
Chaos: Chaos scratched his chin, humorously aided by the black goo.
"I see. A most wicked creation indeed," he said with a mad smile. "Perhaps a mixture of both strategies will need to be employed to keep it from getting out of hand," he replied thoughtfully.
"To be fair, she has only feasted on lesser gods and mortals for far too long. I should feed her something a bit more exotic before forcing it into a hunger induced submission. Perhaps, you could show me some of her favorite places to eat?"
Azazel: Azazel raised an Eyebrow as chaos spoke asking where some of her favorite places to eat were.
“You have to remember the universe is vastly different than it used to be before my imprisonment... primal entities and primordial energies are nowhere near as prevalent as they used to be... but..”
Waving his hand to the side Azazel constructed the place in question from his memories, a city of silver and gold, of ancient energies that predated creation itself.
“The High Heavens grand city of Pandora...”
Azazel chuckled as he looked around, putting his hands in his pockets and looking around at the tall and elegant buildings that surrounded them.
Chaos: With little more than a mental shrug the scene around them shifted, twisting and morphing in impossible ways until a glorious city was shaped in the psionic fog. Chaos whistled his amazement.
"!"
He cursed, a sharp biting sensation burning in his right arm. His eyes went to the God slayer substance. It was boiling.
"I see...and what condition is the city of Pandora in these days?" He asked without taking his eyes off of the darkness.
Azazel: Azazel looked from the God Slayer back to Chaos.... and then around the memory of the city he used to dwell.
“I could not tell you Chaos... I have not been back since Lucifer and I were ejected with our army...”
Shaking his head he chuckled.
“But when the time is right....”
