Krillin Combat, Human
Barkley Champion 1

Barkley remained in the Lost Temple for a nice sunday of meditation. She would always sit here and meditate the majority of the day away. While doing so she ended up in a green plains area and she would be, in the Astral Realm, practicing her katas and stances that she had learned from various masters.
Naturally, she was waiting on someone to stumble into her area of the realm.

Krillin, still traveling to grand kai's stopped to let his body rest. His ki long sense depleted as he continued in his trek across otherworld. A rest would do him good he thought as he sat and opened his pack. A quick lunch of bread and some over ripe fruit satiated his hunger, he laid down resting his legs a bit when he remembered the gem on his belt. Perhaps there would be someone out there looking for some conversation or a quick sparring match. It had been a long trip and he was getting frustrated with his lack of training. He ran his fingers across the surface of the gem, feeling the familiar wooosh of the astral realm flood his ears.
The green field surrounded the monk, as he noticed another, a young woman practicing, not too far away.

The first style that she decided to practice was Tai chi. The elegance of her movements were still a bit choppy, but she flowed decent enough like it was something akin to a rocky river. Her arm movements weren't the best and her footwork was sub par, but she could feel herself getting better with each movement.
She had yet to notice Krillin, but it wasn't disrespect. It was more like the lack of awareness and the over abundance of focus she was putting in her work out.

Krillin approached quietly, the wind of this plane gently blowing the tall grass in waves as he pushed his way through. The monk cleared his throat has he approached, purposefully making his movements known as to not alarm the woman. He had made the mistake too many times on approaching someone only to feel the wrath of an attack, or a chastising for the surprise he gave when he spoke. Life living in the quiet monastery had made many of his habits the the outside world seem peculiar, and it had taken...was taking him a long time to adjust. "Hello there!," said the monk in a congenial disarming tone. "Your form is good," he said after sure that he hadn't startled her. "though i find it easier to do with an unfocused mind," he said, hoping he wasn't being too presumptuous, the woman obviously concentrating very hard on perfecting her movements precisely.

She stopped what she was doing and her azure colored pupils scanned over towards the new comer. She dropped her stances and took a deep breath with her eyes closing. She did all this before taking a smiling gesture and opening her eyes once more. "Unfocused huh? Maybe that is what I'm doing wrong then. Hello there."
Her hands slipped behind her back as she bowed politely but then returned loosely to her sides. "Names Barkley. Welcome to my head."

Krillin gave the woman a bow of respect, matching her gesture, though the monk audibly chuckled at the greeting," Very nice to meet you, the names Krillin." He looked around at the surrounding area, the fields of grass waving gently with the breeze. "Years of taking blows to the head can help with that, though I'm sure there is an easier way...but alas if I knew of such a method I have long since had it knocked loose."

"Wait....years of taking blows to the head can make this place? Or make you unfocused?" She replied with a few chuckles at the end. "My, oh My. Are you also saying that you lose fights alot? I heard that builds character!"
She knew all about that. The fights she get into during those sand tournaments on Juno were a testament to that. "Trust me when I say, I have a very strong character."

"The unfocused portion," said the warrior of the light, amused. "And I do not lose many, but more than I probably should. I think I've built enough character," he said with some resignation. "Mind if I join?," he decided to continue, joining in beside her going through the forms. After all, he had spent a lifetime in the monastery practicing these very forms, and they were part of his every morning routine. It was relaxing for the monk, often deep in meditation as he flowed through the forms. "Don't worry about building too much character though, it happens to the best of us."
