Lilim did not miss that look she had gotten from a certain someone back during the first meeting with Tarble. Even if the Sentinel's opinion may have changed afterwards or since, she had caught that glance and was...
Intrigued was not the right word, but neither was disturbed either. She was... interested, to say the least. She remembered him from a past encounter, and given the state of things when they had last met, he had obviously been doing very well for himself--and if this alliance between Tarble's empire and her own was to succeed, she would likely need to clear the air with him. That was why she sought him out now, to speak with him, either on his ship or through the Astral Realm, it really did not matter to her where she found him...

The demon had been aboard the Van Eltia, sitting down on the floor of the infant's room, his three children playing amongst themselves in the playpen. Both arms wrapped around his knees as he watched the kids over, until he felt a sudden pull at his mind... squinting his eyes, he felt his vision fading him, like he was about to lose himself to the astral realm. He was starting to get used to those senses by now. As the world around him shifted, he realized that he was still within the Van Eltia, considering the person was coming to him, it was a place of interest to the demon currently. Slowly standing to his feet, he noticed his children missing, considering this was no longer reality.
Yamato made his way out of the room and further into the pirate ship, only for the overwhelming sensation of his guest nearing his person. He recognized that aura anywhere. The heavy energy and sensual atmosphere that threatened to captivate any weak-minded person in the vicinity. Crimson orbs lifted towards the figure that slowly made their way forward, the elegant way that they moved and the sly smile coming to their face... his assumption had been correct. The last time they had spoke, the Queen of Succubi had offered a deal to protect his family. But when it was offered... it almost came off as a threat. They hadn't spoke since then, even when she had arrived when trying to make a deal with the Oath a while back.
"Lilim... what do I owe the pleasure?"

Lilim had, indeed, made sure to make a graceful entrance--everything about her was tailored towards the task of arousing the imagination of those around her, from subtle sways of her hips, to the dress she wore, to the way she spoke--everything about her seemed to suggest and speak of an invitation towards a carnal utopia of heated breath and pure ecstasy. Her sly smile intensified a little as she looked upon the Sentinel of the Oath Empire, her steps slowly taking her towards him with that amused look in her eyes. "A pleasure... Yamato, was it not? I had hoped to find you here. I had a feeling my presence was... less than savory to you last time?" she inquired playfully, going directly for the point. As much as her aura radiated lust and as much power as she could levy upon a male, it would hardly be appropriate to manipulate the Oath's Sentinel in such a way, no matter how much she might have found it amusing. She knew how to play with her food--but this one was certainly no meal she could touch.

A slow nod was given towards the succubus, who inquired his name. But when she mentioned that she had hoped to find him there, well, he felt a little uneasy. How did she know about his and Rufus' ship? Or perhaps.. she just knew that there were two different ships that the two leaders of the Oath used. Whatever the case, he felt himself swallowing hard while his fists balled up at his sides. The intimidation factor from all those years ago seemed to etch itself onto his mind, still seeing Lilim as a sort of person that held many threats behind any sort of promise offered. While he shouldn't judge someone, like many had judged him, he had still felt nervous considering the sort of life he had lived.
Always on the run, being in a kill or be killed world. It was a hard mindset to just break.
Lilim was straight to the point, stating that she seemed to notice that their last interaction seemed to have left quite the distaste in his mouth. And while he wanted to shake it off and change the subject and start things over again, she had already seen it with his body language. "I suppose so." He sighed out, knowing that it was in his best interest to just be upfront with things. And while Yamato still had a love for women, he still had his standards and lived with an older kind of mindset. He wouldn't judge someone for living their life, but if he had a distaste for what he saw, he couldn't help but to express it. His nose always turned up when a person appeared loose, but if they were going to be in the same alliance...
Well, he needed to keep those sort of gestures to himself. Or at least try harder in doing so.
Tilting his head to the side, he brought his palm up to the side of his neck, cracking it slightly as he exhaled a deep breath of air. "You promised protection for my family, if I recall the last time we met. Though, I suppose the deal seemed more threatening than kind." A demon who proclaimed herself as Queen had walked up to him and promised protection, all while flaunting not only her body, but her raw power. Well.. it was no wonder the intimidation factor was on high. They didn't really know one another, but now, they were being given the chance to do so.
And this was for Tarble, after all. "That's in the past, however. I believe this is a chance for a better first impression." That much was a true thought that came to mind in that moment. He had never been a person to hold grudges, so what would be the point of keeping the same thoughts over a person for one thing they had done? Especially with the lack of interaction to follow afterward, well... it wouldn't be in character to let that stick with him.

She could feel at least part of what he was going through--lupine demons such as himself had certain ways of life, certain methods by which they tackled problems. She had two such clans underneath her command and purview. Hellhounds and Pitwolves, they were called. She had some experience in dealing and managing them, yet this particular clan had managed to evade her for a long while until their meeting long ago... and now, it seemed, they were thriving under the banner of another. She doubted the relationship was as direct as Master and Servant--judging by the interaction between Yamato and Tarble, it was more friendly and nuanced. She had no motivation to disrupt or override such an arrangement, especially when she needed... well, needed and wanted to make a proper alliance between their nations work. That included having a working relationship with Tarble's Sentinel, effectively his Second.
"My priorities were different back then, yes," she admitted, leaning on a wall beside her in a more relaxed posture, hoping he would take up the same. "A better first impression is a cunning way of putting it--your family and clan seem to be doing well now. A ship, a cause, a nation to build... I can see now why fate drove you towards your own destiny, rather than as part of mine. For what it is worth, I am happy for you and yours--rare is the demon clan that are able to forge their own destiny forward. Most don't even leave Hell, committed to servitude.
"Regardless, it is a pleasure to meet you again and King Tarble. My goal is to establish a relationship and alliance between his nation and my own--that includes yourself and your clan as well. That means seeking out where I might be able to assist in making sure that alliance blossoms," she said, her smile turning a bit more warm and comforting, though given her power and status, she probably did not come across as such. "I wanted to make sure my intentions were known and that my assistance with anything necessary is always available to you and yours. I will admit... I am curious how your clan has faired since then."
