"Numbers, huh?" Juch repeated with a small laugh before helping himself to a portion of the congee before him, "Mm, interesting."
He didn't comment further upon that, but instead turned back to her original question regarding tutoring, "But not ki?"

"Well you see," she said as she looked down at her hand. "Don't tell my mom. She doesn't quite know. But I see the numbers. I see so many things with numbers." To Barkley it was strange. They weren't quite exactly physical. They were more like how an imagination would dance about in the mental images that play a huge part in physical imagery the eyes go through. They were just extremely accurate.
"Your amount of ki that currents through your system at? 538,160 amperes. Makes me wonder. Your power level is normally around double that number in the battle power database that the GPD has. You are quite the powerful...being. Is that all? Or are you resting?"
She tilted her head in curiousity.

"You 'see' numbers," Juch repeated as his scratched his chin. This was intriguing indeed, "In other words, you can measure rather accurately. Usually, there is some margin of error to take into consideration with any sort of measurement, don't you know?"
"But not bad--I can't play the part of a feeble man in front of you. I'm not in combat mode yet--so I suppose my output could be a little higher. I don't know whether to be more impressed by your measurements, or you getting the data from the GPD. How did you manage to do that little trick, hm?"

Barkley looked up to him and she mulled over his question. "One day. I will tell someone how. But, I'd rather that stay a secret until then. Sorry Mr. Juch." She was confident in her secrecy. Her face was also quite stoic as she mentioned that but immediately it changed as she waved to a new subject. "Ah, but enough about me. I'm not all that interesting. You are far more interesting. What drives you, Juch? What purpose do you have?"
Another question that she felt he'd be evasive about. But that was okay. She was quite the evader as well.

Juch chuckled a bit at Barkley's explanation, "We all have secrets," he offered, "No need to apologize."
"Though, I would say that I'm not interesting. I suppose it depends on which point of view," he mulled aloud, "But if you want to know what I'm interested in, it would have to be building things. What would you say to that, hm?"

"Building things? As in architecture?" Barkley's ears perked, figuratively speaking. "You want to build buildings and cities?" She placed her head in her hands and her feet kicked excitingly. "Like SimCity?"

"Sure, architecture is a part of it," Juch nodded with a grin at the game reference. If that was the best reference that she had, it wasn't a bad one, "I like to see things run, see things work."
"So you can say it's society--you can also apply that to puzzles, riddles, and mysteries," he continued, tapping the side of his head, "Two sides of the same coin. I have built a city too though, however. That also interests me. Perhaps I'll show you sometime."
