Joseph jumped pivoted to the side becoming a blur as he V stepped to slip the point blank blast of Ki. He then followed with an swinging elbow to strike Krillin across the jaw and followed with an uppercut to strike his gut.

Krillin accepted the elbow to the face from the energetic youth, focusing on blocking the follow up attack. He brought both hands down, catching the uppercut squarely, numbing his arms momentarily. He pushed off hard, flipping backwards, lifting a boot aimed at Joseph's chin as he did. The monk landed a dozen yards away and readied himself for the hybrid's next attack

The kick had slide across Joseph's jaw forcing him to recoil back, he landed on his back but quickly rolled on his shoulder to quickly regain his footing.
The child's form then distorted as he became a blur shifting to different positions around the Monk. He then appeared before the Monk delivering a flying knee where a nose usually would be and followed with straight jab from his left and a hook from his right.

The boy recovered quickly from the attack, not surprising the monk. Krillin backed away, blurring a moment after the younger fighter. Forearms quick to shoot out blocking the oncoming attacks he had already expected, even if the speed was surprising keeping the monk on the defensive. He was a patient fighter though and knew how to wait for an opening, and if that didn't work he'd resort to making one.

The child continued his pugilistic assault with strikes and then began striking with roundhouse kicks in tandem. This was then followed with Joseph putting his hands to his head and erupting a flash of light as he used solar flare. To finish it off, Joseph stepped forwards raising and his extending his leg for a push kick.

Krillin kept up the blocks, continuing to fall back against the assault. It was then he realized his mistake. He had left the opening. He attempted to cover his eyes, but the blinding light pushed its way through. He closed his eyes. They were useless now anyway. He felt a leg graze his side roughly has he attempted to dodge the oncoming attack, only able to feel the general area of the attack without his vision. The attack spun him, and he blurred darting around the battle field trying to keep away from his opponent until his vision came back to him.

The boy then fired an array of ki blasts that encircled the Monk surrounding him. They then began closing in on the Monk and would detonate on contact with the Monk making for a heavy explosion.

Krillin raised his ki shield, absorbing many of the blasts that pelted him at first, but fading quickly as the explosion rattled him. He rubbed his eyes even as he covered his face with his arms, slowly blinking away the stinging spots that had cripped him. So he was going to take this spar seriously. Krillin supposed it was time to do the same. He launched himself at the boy, enveloping his entire body in a blue sheen of ki that formed into a dragon as he blurred towards the boy.
