"Maybe I should come visit," Yan offered thoughtfully, though from the way he said it made it sound like his appearance alone could rile the girl's mother up enough to make her respond as if she were in a war. He probably did have that power, but it was probably not what Barkley meant.

"You should! I don't think that would be enough to make her go Super Saiyan. You should, however, invite her to a date or something. You know, the type of 'Hey let's go to a tournament' date or 'Geez, let's go watch Barkley kick some butt in the Juno Sand Tournament' date." She was dropping obvious hints to him while looking away from the table and humming a little at the end.

Yan gave Barkley a small smirk when she suggested his presence wasn’t enough to spark an angry enough reaction from her mother. Well, it wasn’t just his presence to trigger it but he could definitely get a decent response in maybe a few minutes. He could probably just say he was chilling with Lilim again recently and there’d be a spark of green in her eyes.
The smirk softened however at his daughter’s attempt to set her parents up. “I am a fan of that Barkley fighter,” he said, feigning thoughtfulness.

"You better be." she said with a giggle. "Oh you coming to my graduation? It's in about a month."

Yan grinned but then lit up a bit in pride at her talk of graduating even though he quickly feigned ignorance. “Who’s graduating now?”

"Oh so it's like that?" she could tell he lit up hearing that and she grinned while closing her eyes. "Yup, I'm gunna be a Mag-- however you say that word."

“Mag....nate?” Yan asked, unsure himself. “You know, I was on good terms with Adel when he was only a Sage and still annoy him until this day questioning what’s above that level.”

"oh really? Okay so I don't feel too bad about not knowing." she said with another sip of tea.
