Yan Cass VS Juch
"Certainly," Juch nodded as he continued with putting on his clothes, "When you make a choice, you lose the opportunity with everything else you could have done."
"So is this going to be a choice between me and Lilim?"
YanToday at 5:33 PM
Yan sighed absently at Juch’s explanation, his eyes closing until the android asked his question. Yan’s eyes opened and he looked up to him wearily. “I didn’t plan for it to be,” he said quietly, knowing Juch well enough not to believe he would really put that ultimatum on the table, but still kind of expecting it from someone.

"Plans hardly work out the way you want them to," Juch answered back, tilting his head towards the redhead curiously, but his tone held no malice, "But in the end, reality is reality."
"What was your plan then?"
YanToday at 8:09 PM
Yan paused at this, seeming to think it over for a moment before sighing again and picking himself up enough to lean back. “As much as I hate to admit this,” he started making a face of his own self disgust, “the only reason I was able to ask for you back was because I had Lilim to fall on if you rejected me.”
He paused again, staring forward for a moment before looking up to him. “I wouldn’t choose her over you, no matter what I feel,” he said sincerely. “There is only one person I would choose over you.” And Juch knew full well who that was, and it definitely wasn’t someone like Lilim.

As Yan mulled over his words, Juch finished buttoning up. With a crisp snap of his cigar case, he took one of the rolls out and began lighting it, so that a puff of smoke began to ease its way up into the air by the time the Monkey was finished, "I know, I know," the android said, letting a small smile cross his face. Burnt bridges...
"It doesn't have to be a choice, y'know, if you have a good enough move to make when you are with Lilim."
YanToday at 8:59 PM
“Even if it’s a good move, it’s still a choice to make it,” Yan replied with ease, shifting his gaze upward. “I have more foresight than it seems, don’t you know?” he added mimicking Juch’s line with a smile.

"Indeed, because a good move still sacrifices something, in some way," Juch chuckled as Yan tossed his own words back at him, "Bring me up to speed on what you're planning then, hm?"
YanToday at 9:23 PM
Yan closed his eyes and rolled his head a little in frustration at the idea of a fully blown plan but he sighed in the end. “Lilim claims to love me. If that’s true and I accept her she won’t move against me or mine. It doesn’t mean she’ll sacrifice what she wants either, however.”
