It was scene quickly transpiring into something deeper than she was able to comprehend at first glance. No sooner had this pair arrive did the focus of her adversary change entirely. But it didn't stop there. The maiden's eyes captured in view the arrival of yet another. She could see it there floating in the air, an aircraft of some sort. She could surmise quickly that yet another would appear on this battlefield. It certainly didn't this one long to make this guess a true statement. She watched as he his form descended onto the battlefield. Curiosity and the others choosing to mount an assault on her original adversary allowed her the chance to size up this new arrival. First and foremost she noticed the dark blue tone of his skin. Clearly he was of alien origin, at least as far as the standards on this world and earth would have it. Moments after he landed, the figure went for dramatic flair, striking the most peculiar pose when he faced across the battlefield. His arrival seemed to force a momentary pause in the exchange between the other two and her adversary. And, he was quick to address the group.
"I heard there was a little battle going down. Never met any of you cats before, and I ain't got any idea why you're all battling. All I know is that I followed a worm here pretending to be part of the Planet Trade Organization, and until I find out what that was all about, you fellas ain't beatin' up on this little lady too badly."
So he had come to her aide but also seemed to be investigating something. Planet Trade Organization? This was a new thing by her own ears. She had never heard of it. Now she was wondering if he would engage further into detail. That's when it happened, a rift appeared some feet away from her and Lana's voice reached her to her mental.
M'lady, I do think it would be in your best interest to vacate for now. This looks to be something we're best not getting caught up in just yet. Return and we'll gather our thoughts on how to proceed then.
The maiden dare not defy a deity in any shape or form. Lana would bring her back whether the maiden decided to stay or not. She clearly opened this rift for that purpose. So she did a few things before making her attempt to depart. First she burned it into her memory the blue one's appearance. Then she peered over to the ones who had intervened to get a clear look at them. Lastly she would aim a gaze at her adversary. Though her intent on her life was clear, somehow this moment of battle had been rather...dare she say...intimate. Yes, she could. Throughout the exchange she could sense the adversary's desire to further test her. As if she was looking to know the true extent of her abilities before this all came to an end. And the maiden, though mostly on the defensive, would return in kind. She paid attention to how she wielded her dark blade. She took note of how every physical attempt at a turn around was met with an equal effort to keep the maiden from taking an aggressive edge. And finally, she surmised were it not for this impromptu intervention the adversary was about to dive further into her abilities.
Yes in this short exchange, the maiden had been given a taste. And it left her hungry for more. Would the full experience satisfy her? The maiden couldn't help but allow a broad smirk appear upon her face, gazing directly into the eyes of her unknown adversary. In that moment, the two would be placed in a black void, which was more of a makeshift symbol of the focus being directly on the two of them. A crimson aura flaring off of the adversary and a yellow one off of the maiden herself. It was as if destiny had decided for them to be brought together. The symbolic picture of them regressed as she acknowledged this turn of events had reasoning. And she would surmise one last time: her path would cross with this one again, if not by the adversary's will then perhaps her own. The maiden refused to forget that she had been floating in a void of non-existence before being brought back here through her other. Through this she received another reminder that she was indeed alive. For death could not come for one already deceased or non-existent. For that she was grateful. She turned to face the portal that had been prepared for her and made her way to it in an attempt to vacate the situation for now. But, not before catching the voice of the other who arrived, trying to address her. Unfortunately she might not get the chance to respond before passing through.
