Another day, another mission.
Kintaro was getting tired, but.. he had to keep going, for his children and 'brother' Takeda. A deep sigh passed by the demon's lips as he stared forward, smoke wafting from his mouth as the cigarette was removed from it. Yellow and black strands fluttered in the wind as those acidic hues glared forward. Blood stained the man's hands and black suit that he often wore, the dead body dangling at his hip; his gloved fingertips gripping into the hair of the man and holding him there.
The don's bodyguard stood in the shadows on the street, in a narrow alleyway that led into the spice district of Tokyo. All he needed to do now, was deliver the head to his don and their parents, to prove that the deed was done. Kintaro dropped his cancer stick, putting it out with his boot as he lifted black shades over his eyes and began to head deeper into the alleyway, taking a round-about way back to the Yagyu mansion.

Grim was on the midst of a nice moonlit walk.
His boots smacked gently against the concrete of the sidewalk, gazing forward with his ruby hues as he noticed a creature beginning to shift into an alleyway. His eyebrow flickered ever so slightly. His nostrils flared gently. Blood. He knew that scent all too well, he had bathed in it plenty of times. Following the scent was no hard feat-- within seconds, he was on the trail.
As he turned the corner of the alleyway, the light of a cigarette died out, stomped into the ground by a boot. Grim let out a low chuckle, letting himself be known in the middle of that alleyway. He wanted this guy's attention. "You strike me as a man who knows what he's doing." He began to walk forward, no fear of whether he'd get hurt or not. He merely smiled. "So I'll ask once. What's with that dead body, chief?"

Kintaro soon heard a voice echoing out, a chuckle radiating off the alleyway walls that surrounded them. Acidic hues glanced back towards the raven haired man, who was just as cloaked in darkness as he was. The demon was silent as the other seemed to continue to chat. He wanted to know what the deal with the dead body was and a small grunt was heard from the base of Kintaro's throat. "Do you just waltz up to anyone that might be a serial killer and ask that question?" He mused, lips curling up into a faint grin.
Turning to face this man fully, Kintaro let the body limply dangle at his side, his other hand moving to his hip. But that's when the voice of the Oni spoke within Kintaro's own mind, gaining his attention. He is no mere mortal. Careful, he's hunting you just as much as you're hunting him. Despite the warning, the smile on Kintaro's face only widened a fraction. "I'm delivering it, is that a problem?"

At the sound of the question, well, Grim couldn't but smile even wider. It was an.. interesting response to say the least.
Once the man viewed him fully, Grim could tell this was no ordinary man. He held the stench of a demon, a terrifying one. Perhaps even one that needed to be put down like a dog. The creature stated he was delivering it. Was it really a problem? Maybe not. Maybe if this was just a horrendous human, he'd let it go. Who would he be to turn down a little murder and catch?
But this. Wasn't. That.
"Well, I do like spending my time stalking serial killers." He didn't stop walking, beginning to close the distance that lied between them. No hesitation, no fear, only footfalls that grew louder as he grew closer. "You see, I'm a businessman. My currency is souls. Not just any souls, but demonic, putrid souls that seek to make the Earth a living hell for mortal men."
Then he stopped, pointed a glove finger at the man's chest.
"Kind of like you."

This man's words echoed once more, but this time, he began to walk forward, the sound of his footfalls sounding louder the closer he got. And Kintaro's smile started to fall into a frown at the explanation given. This was a 'businessman' who put down putrid demons... like him. A flinch in the demon's chest was felt, but he brushed it aside, he was used to hearing such things, why did that matter at a time like this? Probably... because he was forced into becoming a demon. Acidic hues narrowed as an index finger pointed to his chest, that threat very much real between them.
In that moment, the skies above began to roar to life, rumbling wildly as the skies darkened even further. Thunder erupted overhead, rain pellets beginning to rush down all around them. "I'm a businessman too." Black lightning surged down around them, sparking clean off Kintaro's body and pulsating outwardly. The white parts of the demon's eyes shifted to black immediately, only a glow of emerald radiating off them. "Yagyu." Was the only word that he spoke.
The name was well known across the world. A family of humans that worshiped and did a ritual as a passage to their coming of age. It was the day they'd become a host to an Oni and become a demon. They were a mafia force to be reckoned with and their name always brought shivers down people's spines when they heard it. While he didn't expect this man to shudder at hearing that, it would at least give some context as to what he was dealing with.
"Kintaro Yagyu."
And his name was just as famous.

Grim kept his smile alive, even as this man's died down. Rain began to come down upon the both of them, only for dark lightning to surge throughout the alleyway. The lightning sparked off of Kintaro's body in that moment, his eyes shifting to ebony and emerald. 'Yagyu'.. 'Kintaro Yagyu'. His smile fell as his eyes went wide for a moment.
"Literally who?"
Grim scratched at the back of his head. "Sorry, sorry, I bet that was supposed to be some kind of big reveal your type likes to do, right?" He cracked his neck slightly, sighing out. "You see, I've met a lot of people. I don't doubt I've probably heard the name before. But.." His rubies glared into those dark emeralds.
"Dead men don't have names."
A strike of lightning boomed in the distance. "By the way, next time you try to summon that lightning shit, let go of the body you're holding. I doubt the sick fuck you're delivering it to wants it extra crispy." He let out a low chuckle, breaking apart the tense mood he had made in a millisecond. "So enlighten me, Kint-- can I call you Kint? --what do you bring to the table? Are you going to just be another name in the ground, or do you have some fight in you?" He smirked.
"Because right now, all I see is some bitch holding a dead body and acting like his name gives him power. Quit with the light show and give me a real struggle." He wasn't exactly going to take no for an answer.

This man was... acting like a clown.
Kintaro's eyes slowly blinked, but his expression didn't change. If he wasn't going to take it seriously, it didn't matter. The body dropped to the ground, his boot kicking it off to the side as he exhaled a sigh through his nose. "It was a warning." The demon's boots pushed off the pavement, his speed accelerated, as if he was the storm itself. The demon's fist rammed into the man's face, uncaring if it was blocked or knocked out of the way. Black lightning shot clean out of his palm and rain right through his enemy's body. It threatened to break the man's body apart from the inside.
Another rush of energy and Kintaro's body shifted, his other fist ramming into the ravenette's stomach, his face coming in close to the others. All the while, his expression was never changing. While his Oni warned him to take this man seriously, all he could do was find annoyance in being stopped like this. And.. he was also having fun. Not many people challenged the Yagyu that actually held power behind their bark.
"Show me what you've got then, creature." Kintaro knew that this man was no human, even the Oni told him that much.
