Heart beat. The sound of a heart beat was audible. The environment was as quiet as the inside of a vacuum in space. Where was he? When was he? The Saiya-jin continued his awkward and unexplained path. He could only try to remember the past, but all he could muster was the sound of his thumping heartbeat. The life liquid that was blood became audible as it flowed through his arteries and veins. What was going on? He was blind to his surrounds, yet he felt like his eyes were wide open. He could feel his hands and feet in suspension of gravity. The master telepaths and that invisible voice were the only things he could grasp an image of. A sigh of relaxation of his situation escaped his lips that he could not see and simultaneously he awoke! Both eyes sprung wide and he stood on solid ground. An inhaled gasp brought his eyes on the nature of forest below his position and outstretched as far as the eyes could manage to see. A cliff’s edge was only a pair of steps in front of him. Where was he, and why of all places did he end up there? The purple and blue green tree tops waved and chattered in a bit of a breeze. Stillness overcame his body.

Levana : TL, combat rune, champ2+HBTC1
The tree trunks were almost black instead of brown and so much higher than any three she had ever seen on Earth or Kelioux. The canopy was so dense that it was impossible to get even the slightest glimpse of the sky or for any sunlight to penetrate down to the ground. She didn’t know if it was night or day, though she figured that it wouldn’t make much of a difference there.
The forest was unusual still; there was no wind rustling through leaves, no birds singing their songs or insects buzzing around. Levana couldn’t help but to wonder if this was the quite before the storm that was inevitable in so many tragic stories.
She took a deep breath and look around. The air was slightly humid and chill as if it had been raining not that long ago.
Then she noticed another presences, somewhere above her. Above the tree even. The ki signature didn’t feel familiar and she wondered who this stranger would be. It been quite a while since she had met someone new in the astral realm, usually she tended to run in to old friends or acquaintances.

The breeze was calming as it picked up and brushed the Saiya-jin’s thick mane back and forth against his shoulders. His body was barely covered by an aged brown fur garb, which covered his hips down to the middle of his thighs. The sky was hot and so were they. The thick muscular physique he sported warmed up from the sun’s rays and gave an even golden glow. He currently had no cares in the world, but his mind was busy running in circles over empty memories. His left hand raised to his forehead as he bent his neck down at the base of his skull a little bit. A harsh sigh released in an elongated fashion. He was tired. He was tired of the in and out of consciousness, the disappearing and reappearing in different realms and dreamlands, he wanted to just be. As he removed his hand and calmed himself with a separate cycle of respiration, the ancient Saiya-jin sat down and folded his legs as he placed his hands on his lap, centered on his belly button. Heavy eye lids managed to shut half way as he set up for a session of meditation. His newly learned art was put into practice as he could still remember the telepathic monks he had been around most recently. Yamoshi’s mind was sharp and sensitive to many things now. He sensed a being in the forest below; however, it could have been anyone or anything lurking about, so he ignored it for the time being. It was a strong force, nearly identical in the internal presence, yet he felt safe enough at the distance that he continued to nestle his mind, body and spirit where he was.

Levana slowly hovered up into the air, carefully manoeuvring between the branches and leaves. She did not want to expose herself too fast, as she had no idea who or what might be lurking above the canopy. It also gave her some extra time to tune in on the other power level. It felt Saiyan like, full blood even. It had been a long time since she had met one and inevitable she was reminded of the Saiyan who used to be her best friend at one point. Hell, she had even loved him like a brother. Howell.
She flew further up and made her way into the open sky. Levana had to blink her for a moment and let her eyes adapt to the sudden bright sunlight. The contrast with the dark forest below could hardly been any bigger. Her pupils quickly narrowed into thin black lines, one of the characteristics of a feline.
Still hovering in the air she turned around and it didn’t take long before she spotted the man she had sensed before. He was sitting in what some mediation pose about three hundred meters away, on a cliff that look out over the forest. The way he looked confirmed her assumption of him being a Saiyan.
She frowned slightly as he didn’t seem to have noticed her so far or he had noticed her, but just didn’t give a damn.

Yamoshi had allowed a smile to creep across his face. He hid it well enough for the time being as he already noticed the signature of life force whom had taken a notice of him. As quickly as the smile graced his face and paused for a second, he retracted it to his stoic meditative fashion. As he thought on it, that smile was the only time he had let his guard down long enough to breech a joyful emotion. Was this because he could smell her as her ascent from below the tree canopies? He was a warrior, no female scent should have distracted his mind so much to make a physical reaction, or at least not since… since…? His memories tried to reappear, but all he could find was static and nothingness. He could only hear the voice in his head from his appearance in what he now knew as the astral realm. It was strange, but he found something familiar about her smell. It was not one hundred percent identifiable, yet it was something. Either way he shook the thought away and opened his eyes. Those dark eyes glistened in the sunlight. The Saiya-jin’s tail unraveled from around his waist and waved up and down, once, twice and then settled on the ground behind him. Without a word he stood to his feet and visually acknowledged the white-haired female. Her ears were set on her head like a canine, and her face was soft yet vibrant. A golden earring sparkled upon her left ear as he squinted to analyze more detail of her. His body was barely covered by his fur garb that wrapped about his hip. His muscles were on display as if he were under constant contraction. A slight head nod was delivered to the female as he stood neutrally in the wind on the edge of the cliff.

She could have sworn that there was mild change in his facial expression while she was there observing him from a distance. Then again it happened so fast, that she wondered if she had just imagined it. Minutes past while he remained completely still again. Surely he must haven noticed her by now, even if he was in deep meditation and with her power level suppressed to the minimum, a trained Saiyan soldier should always be fully aware of his surrounding to avoid being ambushed.
Well then. The feline woman remained hovering in the air above the tree tops without getting closer to the mysterious Saiyan. She folded and crossed her legs underneath her and crossed her arms on her chest. She might almost look like a genie from some fairy tail, without the flying carpet of course.
After another long moment he finally got up from his sitting position and looked straight at her. Clearly indicating that he did indeed know that she was there. She pulled up one eye brown, as it almost appeared to be a display of power and intimidation. Especially since he was lacking quite some clothing and was so showing of his muscular body. She wondered if he did that on purpose or not. The obvious alpha male. Physically she barely could differ any more from him. She had always looked rather small and delicate, even to the average warriors in this galaxy. But compared to him she really must have looked like a tiny puppet.
“Well hello there,” she decided to greet him.

The wind kicked up once more as it ruffled through his hair and bounced his fur garb around a little bit. His thick short fur tail hung still with a curl up at the tip. He kept his arms to his side and levitated enough to clear the dirt flooring that was underneath him. Forward motion propelled him towards the attractive feline female. That smell was familiar but still no idea what it could have been. His mind could not open the doors of memory to what it truly was that he noticed in comparison. As he approached, he gave the female twenty meters of space. His head and eyes moved in unison to analyze the woman again. She was petite. She was also the only female he had laid eyes on since he woke up in that astral realm. He was not as graceful as most and centered his head back to an anatomically appropriate position. She spoke and he took a second to understand. It was strange at first. He had not spoken much and only to dusty telepathic monks in underground temples through his astral phasing episodes. “Olleh, ohw era uoy?” A rumbling low toned voice escaped his mind into hers. The ancient language he spoke came naturally as he spoke telepathically.

She remained at the same spot while he silently got up and moved closer to her. His eyes went over her more than once and he didn’t even try to hide it either. She didn’t know for sure if he was observing her a warrior, a potential opponent, or merely as a woman, from experience she would say the latter though. She was not amused. The fact he still hadn’t replied or greeted her back also didn’t help much at that point
Though he still kept more than enough distance before things might have become even more awkward. She started to wonder if he had actually understood her question or maybe he couldn’t speak? At that moment she heard a low unfamiliar voice echo in her head. Her head tilted slightly to the side as she looked at mysterious Saiyan in surprise; assuming it must be him speaking to her telepathically since there was no one else in this realm as far as she knew.
“Ym eman si Anavel,” she answered telepathically in a soft melodious tone. It happened naturally, without her even thinking about it she managed to understand AND reply to him. She paused and kept starring at him for a long moment. How was this possible? She even had no idea which language this was!
“Ohw era ouy?” she then returned the question, “Tahw dnik fo egaugnal si siht?” she added with a bit of hesitated, since it sounded pretty redicoulous to ask what you were speaking quote fluently.

She spoke and replied to him in the same tongue. Yamoshi was in awe that she understood and carried on a conversation with him. He became speechless as he blankly stared at the woman. It was not intentional, and this time quickly rebounded as he closed his right fist and placed his over his left pectorialis major, near his shoulder and gave a bow from his middle spine, “Ti si ecin ot teem uoy, Anavel. Ym eman si Isomay. Ti si a erusaelp.” His voiced rumbled out loud instead of telepathically. It changed the whole interaction from the silent and almost private conversation to some more - friendly. He straightened his vertebrae and slightly perked up his normal resting face as his features made him look much more intimidating than others. He blinked and lowered his hand back to his side. “Siht si eht egauagnal fo wef ohw wonk ti,” he accidentally returned with an enigmatic statement. He offered his right hand to the feline woman, “Emoc! Tel su tis.”
