Though the Destroyer's feedback rubbed salt into the wounds of his defeat Joseph felt that he was doing better to reflect on that situation and had better insight to rethink how he approached that battle. One thing he was sure had things left to be desired was his offense.
Persistently attempting to try and keep distance between him and the opposition was seldom working his favor. He tended to be a defensive minded fighter, reacting to what was coming rather than guiding it.
The boy didn't take up too much time pondering about the matter in the destroyer's presence however. He was sure that the destroyer wouldn't take well to significant span of silence, especially a span prolonged enough to be an akward silence.
The boy thought for a moment as to where to take this conversation now that Beerus' inquiry had been answered. Then came to a solution he most often did when he wasn't sure what the other party wanted from him at the moment. "What do you want to do now?" the child asked, figuring he might as well entertain the deity while he was inside the astral realm with him. Joseph found it rather profound that he had been met with the deities as often as he had. It was interesting having a chance to converse and interact with the immortal beings.

Lord Beerus was just kind of chilling at this point in the Astral Realm. The fact that he had likely made Joseph feel bad wasn’t really his concern. If the boy was a true warrior, then he would learn how to deal with it and if he wasn’t able to get over some criticism then he wasn’t capable of becoming great. Even the God of Destruction had teachers, trainers, guides and helpers in his life to get him to the point he was in. If it wasn’t for all those that helped him back when he was pit fighting, he would have never made it to becoming a deity. He knew all that help, criticism and feedback was best for him.
Floating around in the air, the God of Destruction heard the boy’s question and had no real answer at this point. He shrugged, “Do you know of anything that sounds fun? I really just like being entertained. Stories, games, television and really anything interesting I am normally good for doing. You just have to pick something. If it is boring,” he paused a sinister grin appearing on his face, “well then I will just have to destroy you.” He looked at Joseph quickly, “And yes it does hold even in the Astral Realm. Part of being a god.”

"Ok," Joseph replied sangfroid and intonation devoid, addressing both the answer it was up to him to pick the activity as well as the threat of destruction. His rested features indeterminate of any emotion. Learning about the destruction Deity from observation and study, he understood that he was quite liable to bring destruction to any party for any given reason.
Ever since they met and every time they met Joseph was sure that there was a chance Beerus would end up destroying him, whether because the boy inadvertently did something vexatious, at the wrong place at the wrong time, by accident. All of these were all possibilities Joseph considered. Joseph didn't care much for bothering with that he was under the impression lied more to chance than anything, but Beerus was a figure of interest and a means of learning, so he was an exception to Joseph's tendency to avoid things that could only be governed by factors that could only be speculated or his luck.
The mortal expected to face the threat of being destroyed by the Hakaishin sooner or later. There was an interest in what it would be like to be ended by a Hakaishin. The young Demi-Earthling's interest learning such a thing trended the lines of being a scientific or morbid curiosity. Joseph appreciated having the answer to the question he had their previous astral realm meeting, but then more questions were raised. Would the body remain after the mind and spirit were purged in the immaterial plain or would that be gone as well?
There wasn't time to muse on such things at the moment, now he was tasked with finding a way to entertain the destruction Deity under the duress knowing that failure to do so entailed destruction. Joseph had a number of hobbies such as television, video games, board games, and reading and a limited number of sports. What could he propose to entertain Beerus? He could recite a book he read going off memory, he read many books and remembered their exact text.
Basketball maybe? He wasn't good at that and ran the risk of boring Beerus as a result though. Then he thought of something. "There is a game I started playing a few weeks ago called Shadowverse." It was a mobile card game, Joseph originally downloaded it after seeing an advertisement for an event themed in a series he enjoyed. To his mild disappointment, there weren't usable cards of the characters from that series but just skins. Joseph continued playing despite that, however. It was a game he genuinely found fun. Plus he had a handful of friends that enjoyed it and it was popular on Earth. It was worth a shot, though he wasn't sure of the likelihood of whether Beerus would or would not be entertained by this particular Earth mobile game. If he was, then the two could enjoy a nice gaming session, if not then his questions regarding what being destroyed by a Hakishin entailed would be answered.

The boy seemed to not be completely sure of how to answer such a statement from the God of Destruction. It was a very simple request to find something fun to do, but the theater at the end of was probably not very settling for a mortal to hear. In all actuality Lord Beerus wasn't going to probably destroy the boy for not having an idea, but it was still fun to toy with them. The fact that the boy suggested a game was interesting enough to catch the attention of the destroyer.
The deity turned around with a hand to his chin as he thought about the idea, "So tell me a little about this game? Is it fun? What do you do? How do you win? Does it have any beneficial effects on the players?"
He did like games but he was often highly competitive and wanted to know exactly what he was going to be getting into if he did decide to play this game. The boy seemed to not be completely sure of how to answer such a statement from the God of Destruction. He floated closer to the boy now in case he was actually going to try to explain the game or show him. He did want to see if this was worth his time after all.

"I think it's pretty fun," he said, from experience the game was entertaining. The only thing that disappointed him was the one small thing about not having special event themed cards, which wasn't a big deal to him and also the minor disappointment that leader skills could only be used for a specific class.
"Well, in the game you control something referred to as a leader there are different ones for classes with distinct perks suited for certain builds and play styles. You have a deck of 40 cards composed monsters to attack to defeat the monsters controlled by the opponent or attack the leader directly, they can also be upgraded by spending something called an evolution point or meeting certain conditions for certain monsters and spells for various utility oriented purposes. You start with a single point called an orb to summon and you get an additional orb with each of your turns allowing you to summon more monsters or use more spells. The goal is to defeat the opposing leader by taking away all their defense points. In terms of beneficial effects I can't really think of much besides entertainment."
The boy tried to explain the core parts of the game using the basic terms used in the game, it's rules and conditions for victory. It was a pretty easy game to Pick up at least to him. Though playing on a competitive scale and tailoring decks optimally was more complicated, but a little time to read up on classes and decks and the autobuild feature would be enough to get a newcomer situated for a casual game.

The God of Destruction listened to the way the game was played. It was seemingly in depth, but he had heard of a number of games like this before. Games where you had pocket monsters or used cards to summon forth creatures to duel one another or even games where you use a mana pool to cast spells and creatures so that you can attack and defend and hurt the other player. This was already sounding a great deal like one of those games as Joseph explained it. Lord Beerus didn’t hate those game, but they were somewhat repetitive by just how many of them had been made and that he had seen and played in his life. It was a rather popular type of game to say the very least.
The deity tilted his head as the boy finished, “So is it different from any of the other deck building battle against one another type games. Like those pocket monsters or that duel links or even that gather the magic game?” Lord Beerus asked the one thing that was on his mind to start with, but he assumed he already knew the answer at this point. He had the general idea of the game down right from the start.
“Also if we are going to play,” The God of Destruction asked with a quizzical look on his face, “How would I be able to play someone who has played before when I don’t have a leader or a deck? Do you have extras?”

"Honestly, I'd say that it's a combination of the games you mentioned," that was honestly how Joseph would describe it. Monsters that attacked other monsters or attacked directly reminded him of Yu gi-Yo. The system of having a pool of a resource to summon made him think of magic, and the fact that the monsters could evolve made him think of Pokemon. Then he thought of something that did make it distinct from the others
"Though being an app as oppose to a physical card game, it works in a way that wouldn't really be practical for games where you had to build a physical deck. It's played on a computer, phone or tablet. When you start out in the game you have access to all the leaders, and a deck. It also gives you lots of card packs to build a deck, under normal circumstances you'd have to complete the first chapter in the story mode, but here I can just make it so we can skip that part. You could use a prebuilt deck, compose one manually or use the autobuild feature. Or I could make one."
Joseph was unsure of that last option. He only had days of experience playing overall and struggled with making efficient decks. He hoped Beerus would take the previous options instead. At least then he wouldn't be at fault for a deck underperforming. The boy mainly offered because it was would only be fair to offer the person he was introducing to the game, perhaps it wouldn't be that bad Beerus wouldn't likely get a deck any worse than one Joseph made for himself.

As Joseph continued to explain the game the God of Destruction tried to figure things out a little. Obviously, any game should have strategy so he was trying to figure out the strategy involved in this particular one. It was hard to really know without seeing it played at least 1 time. The fact that Lord Beerus also didn’t know all of the rules either was only going to make this a less likely thing for him to take on without at least knowing more about it first. He didn’t like not knowing what he was going to do before really getting into a game.
Joseph continued and Lord Beerus listened for a little while before interjecting, “How about you play the game and I watch it? I certainly don’t think I understand what all the rules are or even how the game works and that would mean I certainly am not capable of playing such a game or building a deck and if you built the deck then I’m not sure I would even understand how to play it. Probably best to learn the game before I get too far into it. So then, how about you show me how it works and I will judge whether I want to learn more or not.”
The God of Destruction also didn’t like losing and if he didn’t know how the game worked or how it was played he knew their was a good chance of that happening. He also was well aware of the fact that the time left on his nap was running thin and he certainly didn’t want that to interrupt a game. If it ended without an outcome he would be beyond mad, “You don’t have long, I just want to learn and I’ll decide before next time we meet if I want to play. I feel my alarm clock is going to go off soon and then I will not be in this realm any longer. So, try to make it interesting if you want to play in the future!”
