The Kelioux Crater was a testament to the growing problem of power. Sometimes, warring governments would skirmish and destruction would ensue. The casualties would be minimal and restricted to battlefields. But with increasing frequency, it seemed random individuals would meet eyes and a fight would ensue. These were not battles on route 1; these were powerful entities that could decimate everything for miles. Their destruction was an afterthought, an unintended side effect as if the lives of others were an inconvenience rather than something to be valued.
Security measures curbed this to a degree. It would be difficult for a well-known Saiyan General to waltz into an Avalon spaceport. But what could a population do when absurdly powerful warriors simply blinked into existence, destroyed a city, and disappeared without a trace? There were more and more Kelioux Craters every month. Those who lived on the outskirts or in remote cities felt a sense of unease, knowing at any moment their lives could be destroyed.
Whose thought was this? It certainly wasn't Android 21's.
Her hunger sated, the android reverted to her auburn-haired form. She had no name other than Android 21, so it was difficult to reference her other half. Not that she fully remembered whenever that other half came out. Going through that transformation, in addition to being pummeled, generally left the scientist with an aching head that made remembering anything difficult. All she knew was that she needed to get far away from this crater without drawing attention to herself.
She waltzed along a trail from this town to the next, prepared to act like a survivor that had fled the scene. Was that a lie?

Chirai did not know why she was on Kelioux to begin with. She was always traveling with no aim. Perhaps that was all thanks to the curse she was gifted with by her owner, Isaac. The green skinned young girl was pulling herself to the chaos that had ensued much earlier, creating a city wide crater in the ground. One thing that attracted her, above all things, was power. She did not know that she was becoming power hungry. Someone that could see her from the outside would think so, but to her she was only fascinated by destruction and how to control it.
That is why she moved toward the crater. It was also the reason why she eventually would be put on the same path as the auburn haired woman, seeing her from almost a mile away. Was she a survivor? Could she tell Chirai about what happened? How could she get closer to her? Maybe the same way Yan moved around? He was fast and kind of just zipped to one place really quick.
How did he do that again? Chirai stopped and took a breath. She then moved. Chirai took a step and then tried to push off with almost all her might and in a supersonic burst she propelled herself an entire mile straight to the android and slide to a stop….well that and flipping forward and scraping her entire face on the ground. Well, that hurt. She also felt a little sick. Chirai did not expect to move an entire mile in an instant. Now she was motion sick? Gross.
When she sat up she showed how sick she felt, but she looked up toward where Android 21 should have been. “Did you come from…..that….that crater?”

"Are you okay?" Android 21 gasped. She wasn't completely sure what just happened, but this person may have been hurt, so it was best to address that concern first. "You look a little green." If there were spots of blood, the stranger would look like an unripened strawberry. Not that Android 21 escaped the skirmish unscathed, of course, but she was used to the pain.
"I..," she began, rubbing her neck. She wasn't sure why, but it seemed like fumbling with her hands would somehow draw the answer out easier. "It wasn't a crater," she offered. "But yes, I came from the town." It was odd that somebody would be running towards the devastation. Though it wasn't like anyone had run away. Android 21 remembered seeing hundreds of fleeing citizens when the fighting broke out. She remembered joining the fray to help buy time for them to escape, and she remembered being knocked into the side of a store because of it. She remembered an intense, internal pain and then losing consciousness. But she woke up in a crater, and she hadn't seen anybody on this trail yet. Where had all the people gone?
"Have you, by chance, seen anybody on the way here?" She hadn't kept track of how many miles she walked so far. The crater itself stretched for miles.

“No,” she started off to answer the woman’s question of seeing anyone. Long as she remembered, she was traveling alone and that there was no one else around her. She did have to admit she only was looking about for a certain ginger, and only out of boredom at that. Instead, she seemed to have found herself another red head, and she started to believe there was an attraction to that trait going along.
Before she could continue speaking, however, Chirai leaned over and vomit spilled onto the ground. Yes, she was motion sick. She totally caught herself off guard with that movement. How the hell could anyone move that fast without getting sick? She stood up finally and struggled to stay on her feet… but eventually she got it. “So do you know what happened?”
Chirai’s sharp purple eyes stared at the woman before her. The young girl was dressed the same way she always dressed, in the same white hoodie and black leggings that wrapped around her legs despite how skinny she was. Naturally, she looked like a girl who stayed out on the streets nightly and rarely in the day. If Android 21 honestly took that as an assumption she wouldn’t be too far off.
