"That's true. If everyone got along in every other way, there probably wouldn't have been a war to begin with, " Delyth scrunched her face a bit. She got what Shell was saying. The girl never really thought about this sort of stuff before, but it made sense the way the Namekian was describing it.
"So...then people who try to get power...they're the bad guys?"

Shell thought about her question for a moment before responding, "I don't believe the attempt to grow within ones self makes them bad, but the intentions behind it are what makes an action good or bad. If one simply grows and learns they can grow in power, but if one tries to gain a power through force then I think you could argue they would be the bad guys."
He smiled after saying that, "Who knows though? They probably think the ones that stop them from doing bad things are the bad guys. It is all just a matter of perception."

Hm, that was interesting, the way Shell was describing both good and evil. Was it a concept that was as malleable as he had described, or was it more concrete? It's a phila..er, philosophical question, she supposed.
"I guess nobody really thinks of themselves as the bad guy," Delyth scratched her head, "Or maybe some people do? I wouldn't though, I don't think."
"Either way, it's just a lot of people fightin'. An' the fightin', I ain't a fan of."

"That is good. Not being around the madness is a very important thing." Shell said with a grin on his face, "Has your world avoided such conflict or has it impacted you before?" The Namekian wasn't really even sure he understood if she lived on Damaskia or a satellite world of the Shadowguard Empire.

"My world?" Delyth repeated as she thought about it, "Well, I mean, there was the whole galactic war and all, right? That was really scary, especially when those robots just started attacking everyone. I was younger at that time though, when I was on Damaskia."
"After the war, my family moved out to some of the colonies. Had some tough luck on many of 'em, so there was a lot of moving. But then we went to this colony called Fridua, and we've been having better luck there."

Shell nodded at the answer, "Well I am happy that you have found luck at your new home. It is important to have a place you care about I believe to call home."
"Is farming in the family history or just a recently learned skill after you started moving around?" It was the next question on his mind. He was really just trying to get the questions away from things that upset him. He knew he started that, but it was hurting him to discuss so he figured he'd try what he could.

"Aye yeah, farmers for as far as my great grandpappy was concerned," Delyth nodded with a smile. Although she didn't say it, Fridua...she didn't know whether to call it home. Sure, it was home, but was it home home? It...certainly didn't feel like it.
"But things fell on hard times. We had to move farther and farther from Damaskia. When I was little, my parents saved up enough to send me to the capital planet for a bit...then the war happened, and then I had to go back with my parents--and we moved farther away."
Shell HitYesterday at 5:58 PM
Shell nodded his head, "Well at least they were successful enough at farming to provide you with some benefits of being around the capital planet. It is a shame war tore you away from that. I'm sure it would have been a good time for you."
Shell paused for a moment as he thought about what to say next, "So why did they send you to the Capital? Was it for further farming teachings?"
