When his fist struck her leg he expected it to buckle considering the amount of force he’d put behind it. He did not expect her knee to be stable enough to stop his attack nor was he ready for her not to go down. Even though her steadiness defied his expectations she was left open for the scythe’s keen blade. When she opened her mouth he almost expected to hear some incomprehensible growls but when she spoke normally it caught him off guard. His eyes grew wide as she offered her name instead of attacking him back. Had he misjudged her? On Earth and most of his life people judged him based on his appearance. The fact that he’d done the same to her sent a pang of horror deep into his core. It was too late to stop his attacks when he’d come realized his error in judgement. She was even forced to endure his remaining assault or so he was led to believe. The flames that enveloped her body flared into view before the air clear and the change to her appearance enhanced to her sinister visage. He had to harden his resolve and remind himself she wasn’t necessarily as evil as she appeared. Then she went and caught him off guard once more by asking if she was flirting with him. “ W-what? N-no I was just,” he stammered to say but was left speechless. He nearly abandoned his intent to attack her as his cheeks adopted a rosy hue. How was this even remotely considered flirting? Being hit on was never intended to be taken literally. Was she insane?! For an instant he began to grow concerned over what her past must have been like to incite such a comment. Such concern was quickly suppressed by remorse as she began to berate him for acting so brashly. While it was too little too late he returned her greeting. “ I’m Dende. Calm down and stop destroying my planet.” He averted his eyes momentarily as he quickly added, “ Please.” It was a long shot but if he could find a way to keep the planet from being harmed further he had to take it. That hope died the instant the Cosmic Emperor arrived. Dende turned to look at him with wide eyes. He’d left without so much as a word to rush her so he had no way of knowing how the man would react. The casual manner in which he approached only heightened Dende’s concern. However, his focus seemed to be on the woman rather than him. A failed attempt at gaining the ability to tap into Namek’s life stream had left the young Namekian’s mind eternally scarred. He was unable to pick up or be influenced by mental or supernatural effects or at the very least overly powerful ones would be greatly diminished on him. He had no way of knowing what transpired between the two so when the man appeared before her his attention instantly snapped to him. He arrived so swiftly that the young Namekian almost thought he’d been there the entire time. Any doubt he felt before was quickly cast aside. For this man to arrive so suddenly he must have been laying in wait nearby and it was clear which side he was on. Another matter quickly replaced the others with great urgency. While Dende was unable to feel or sense the energy emitted by non-organic beings his scouter’s finely tuned sensors did not miss the energy it amassed in its body. Whatever it was about to do it did not seem like it would end well for him. When he moved energy coursed through his entire body to sharpen his movements. Time was of the essence here. Dende rushed over and and attempted to lean forward and grab the android by the leg. While the impact may hurt his shoulder he attempted to use it to disrupt its balance and pick him up. By shifting his weight he hoped to swing the android around in a very short spin and then hurling him up into the sky. “ Take cover!” It was the only warning he’d give the Emperor before he too made to take cover in hopes of escaping the sudden expulsion of energy. The explosion rocked the face of the planet and the young Namekian let out a growl. Why did everyone insist on fighting here? Even if it happened to be a remote island the planet possessed a life of its own. He knew that painfully well from the time Kizu tried to instruct him in the ways of being a Guardian. He’d managed to stand up. The movement caused dirt to fall from his body but before he could gather his bearings an immense force slammed into his face. For an instant he thought the Emperor was angry with him but he could see no sign of anyone nearby. He’d been hit so hard he was seeing lights. Every nerve in his body ignited in warning of the impending danger. The ringing in his ears persisted but he inhaled deeply. Time ground to a halt as he surveyed the situation. He was startled to notice that the lights were actually pockets of ki that began to form around him. The Emperor and the machine faced a similar plight. Dende’s eyes fell upon the woman. Was this her doing? He took care as he extracted himself from among the pockets of ki and ran for the machine. Dende had little doubt that the Emperor could handle this himself. He wasn’t certain about the android though. Even further Dende had thrown him into the air so helping him here would alleviate his guilt somewhat. Dende tried to safely extract the machine without touching any of the ki and half carried him to what he felt was a safe distance. His lungs burned from the effort he was forced to take. He had just enough time to do one last thing. If the woman was so intent on destroying this planet then he’d have to make sure she felt first hand the pain Namek felt. He moved next to her and narrowed her eyes. He could sense no source of the attack from this woman. Not even the remnants of ki Was the wrong here? Time was not a luxury he had an abundance of so he decided to act. His cheeks started to redden. Not from the lack of breathing but he was uneasy about touching a woman; no matter what she looked like. He carefully picked her up while mentally apologizing. He’d try to carry her over to where the machine used to be and insert her in the midst of her own attack. Once more he offered her a silent apology then ran back towards where he’d left the machine. Sweat formed over his brow as he arrived and his lungs burned for release. With a gasp time began to tick forward.

Amalgamation Quan Lei was shocked and amazed by the blossoming effect of his peaceful training to an all-out surprise ship attack to planetary heroes, mystery warriors and oddities that his current and past experiences could not fathom.
The clashed and burning ship apparently had some dormant being nestled inside and amidst the initial part of the scuffle without so much of a signature pick up on his built-in scouter. That was strangely eerie.
The obscene language of the female hunter who originally brought about the current events maneuvered and received attention from the Namekian and the dark armored warrior. Things turned for a different path than he had anticipated, and things needed to be settled sooner than later to avoid future damage to such a beautiful planet.
A moment away from the battle scene displayed a beautiful mix of green, blues and beige from rock formations, grassy islands and crisp skies. The breeze was calming, if it could reach you, around the vicinity.
Unfortunately for him, there was not much time to hang around and dawdle as his unexplained guest spoke words of violence in his brain, which uncontrollably made him release an attack upon the field. The likes of sides were indiscriminatory, as all who were available grabbed some action.
Things happened quickly as he was right side up and thing he was turned around and flung into the higher atmosphere. The field of vision he occupied was enough to make an organic being release the contents of their stomachs. Lei was unnatural in every sense and regained his composure and powered toward the female whom he had be engaged with for several minutes.
His speed was quickly his greatest attribute to the group’s slowest. It did not matter as gravity and precise angles allowed to controllably drop in to give aid to an unprepared black-haired samurai-like character. The light was bright and ultra-bright. It reminded him of a technique he used from time to time. The slits of his eyes kept the android protected with an uncommon resistance to bright solar flare bursts of light.
The seven orbs around his neck began to close as he boosted his speed towards the female. Golden spheres orbited his upper body and head area as they spun in place simultaneously with crevasses emitting savory illumination. Just like that the skyline was brightened once more as if Porunga came and went over and over.
Master Quan was not an extremely violent inorganic being; however, he was not going to allow someone to chaotically aggress him and not teach them some manners. He still did not know the name of the female warrior who gave him a ruthless attack. No matter.
A sequence of hand gestures waved outside of the frame of his body and back inwards with a catapulting maneuver of energy and speed, led by twin fists of fury, as an invisible blast left his palms. Her slashed chest was his target to widen the wound. The distraction of the hands kept the attention away from a small spiral of energy below his feet as another spinning disc prepared for a delayed attack.
Punching towards and hopefully through the female, a slowly tracking buzz saw crept its way up and around to catch the female off guard no matter which direction she took too. It was not going to miss its marks, if all things considered aligned just right.
Hand to hand combat was Master Lei’s signature style. The fists of the master martial artist transformed to meticulously arranged finger patterns to mimic a viper’s head. All fingers were tight together in spear head fashion for speed and precise soft-tissue attacking. With the wind around him, he dashed in ferociously and struck out at the eyes, temples, collarbone, intercostal regions of the mid to lower ribs. Pressure points were reached for to detonate blood vessels and crush the body’s highway system.
Her words from earlier conflicted with her actions, and this twirling leaf from the tree of destruction was not to be trusted.

Chaos cursed under his breath as things began to fall apart fast. The unexpected appearance of another familiar enemy, Yan Cass, saved Tomoko’s ass for the time being. That, and his battle instincts fed him a glimpse of the immediate future and an explosion of immense proportions.
Without thinking his body moved on autopilot, clearing the blast radius by mere feet. Debris and smoke billowed around him. He paused, immediately aware of a shift in the air.
“!”
Just as the air itself seemed to turn hostile, a sensation he had grown accustomed to sensing when fighting Yan, a void appeared behind him and he merely fell backwards through it. At the same moment the rip in space-time took swallowed him the culmination of hostile Ki erupted. Another chunk of Namek was instantly reduced to cinders. He observed the damage from a hundred yards in the sky, safe again, barely.
The speed with which Yan intercepted and attacked didn’t seem possible even for the known speedster. His crimson gaze traced the battlefield below until he found his target. He had no interest in Yan anymore, but after he finished with Tomoko he figured he would have some time to spare on an old friend. ‘Yan will be a problem regardless...I guess there’s no way around it now.’
He let out a begrudged sigh. Though he had hoped to save it Yan’s intervention forced his hand. The sky above darkened and a blinding pillar of ultraviolet light roared to life around him. His eyes widened as Tomoko was suddenly upon him. Before he could react, the android was between them, blocking the eye seering light she produced. Phew. The lightshow he had began continued unhindered as his Ki rocketed to deific heights. Within seconds his powerlevel challenged Yan’s and they were on near equal footing like their last encounter. Today the results would be different than that time though. Today, they died and he celebrated. Today, he claimed his revenge.
The entire metamorphosis took seconds and when the light surrounding him subsided he was revealed to be in his fully unleashed state. His skin was now the same color and consistency of his Ki, as if he were a being made of pure energy now.
Meanwhile, the android unleashed its a flurry of attacks at Tomoko. Chaos watched silently, taking aim at the troublesome female with two extended fingers. The instant Quan finished and cleared out of the way Chaos brought his arm down in a wide arc. An invisible axe cleaved through the crumbling island in a wide arc that threatened to split Tomoko clean in half.
His right hand gathered a whirring disk of Ki and sent it flying towards her in an end over end path making its trajectory that much harder to predict.
Right on the heels of his Kienzen, approach visually masked by it, Chaos’ form screamed through the sky like a fallen star. His left hand was balled into a tight fist and with every ounce of speed and strength he could muster the Cosmic Emperor attempted to literally slam it into and through Tomoko’s chest.
His momentum carried him too and beyond his target but before he could assess the potential damage he turned and he immediately reversed direction, brought his other fist around with bone shattering force, enough to put him elbow deep in her spine.
Now that she had an ally on the field he couldn’t waste time enjoying this. He needed to brutalize her-- fast.

REF REPORT
Alright guys, lot of bullshit early... but this is ADBZ. The flow of RP between Quan and Tomo kind of got broken up with the addition of everybody else. Has not really been anything amazing written and if anything the jumps kind of strained the quality of the RP that I read. It is important to note I do place a lot on quality of rp even with the stat heavy way ADBZ has developed. Keep that in mind when you are writing your actions and or defenses.... everything matters. All things considered though I did like the evolution of Tomo's sadistic nature, RP award transfers to Tomo this go around. But it will be anyone's game next round. Hope ya'll can step the quality up with the same tenacity ya'll plan your actions!

”Just a little,” Yan managed to answer Tomoko, though he did not have the strength to raise his voice much, reserving that for the playful sarcasm, before things moved forward Yan’s head was buzzing. His foot connected to face and the pressure of it was very intense. The sick twacking sound made him mentally flinch, expecting it to be sounding an attack on his own person. The pain from the contact of the kick, which normally would have been nothing to a hardened fighter, made him feel like his entire leg was vibrating. It wasn’t from his remaining damage. He had moved through far worse physical pain then the protests his injuries gave to his sharp movements. No, it was all mental. After months of being tortured all of Yan’s senses felt like they were in overdrive. His mind felt foggy still, something a life of drug use kept from being hindering. He was hyper aware of everything and his normally low paranoia had sky rocketed up. Everything was out to get him, but he was free now. He could choose how he took pain. He could distribute it back, and oh, did he want to. With his senses heightened, he realized the shift immediately. Chaos drifted into another realm at even the thought of Yan’s ki and the boy, the Namekian had vanished from his spot as well. It wasn’t a normal shift. Instead, it felt like entering into a dimension where its technician had slowed things down into a crawl compared to the one he was in before. His immediate instinct was to escape. He could not spend minutes here that would be years elsewhere. His own attack was forgotten, as was the fact Tomoko had moved as well. Quan Lei had been in the air when Yan had attacked him, so there was little possible way to get Tomoko in the same position without telekinesis, and the android seemed unaware of his being moved and was still in the air like he hadn’t moved at all. If anything, it was as if he didn’t accept the time travelers movement, ignoring it entirely to stay where he was. Still, Tomoko was below it assumably, and his ki was honed in on Quan Lei. Yan’s fist was already too far into closing to stop anything, but his ki moved just a little more towards its longed for target, without a care for Tomoko. It wanted to eat Quan Lei. With the speed of the rapid growth of the explosion, it probably only moved an inch. But hey, if Quan was still exactly where he was maybe he had some success after all. It wasn’t his concern however. Tomoko made her move, and Yan slid out his precious phone, checking the timeline, making sure his lives were intact. When he saw that they were, that time was still moving the same here as well as elsewhere, his phone was returned to its pocket and his eyes shifted over the field trying to determine who had frightened him. He needed an answer. He went to Tomoko first, kicking off in another rush of speed. He completely ignored the android, as he moved close enough to touch her, to feel her ki, and her very existence as a dimensional prison. He didn't care about the attacks sent her way in this instance, he only cared about making contact, of touching her, to be sure whether she was the cause or not ”Not you,” he whispered on touch, turning on the next most likely suspect: Chaos. With his wisdom and experience, Chaos likely already knew the trouble of Yan’s attention being fully focused on him, and Yan had such dangerous tunnel vision. He forgot about Tomoko and Quan, letting them have their dance and honed in on Chaos himself. As his torturer, he was the man who deserved all Yan’s anger and hate at the present moment—if Yan were a different type of man. He had a way with Stockholm Syndrome, or rather, it had a way with him. Even if it hadn’t felt like months for Chaos, for Yan they had been together for months, mentally linked like star-crossed lovers. Every pain he endured felt of Chaos, and its constant nature made it seem like Chaos had given Yan his full attention for months. This made some things clear. Chaos loved him, and Yan still had to show his appreciation back. But had the Cosmic Emperor finally understood the true powers of his dimensional prowess? Had he evolved past dimensional pockets into alteration and control? The man who wanted power over all, had he finally realized it had always been in the Dimensional Technician’s hand? Tomoko hadn’t gone far and Yan stepped between them again, searching for Chaos’ eyes as if he could ignite his own torture upon him. The emperor sliced downwards and Yan’s claw lifted in a sharp swat with another burst of ugly speed that made the ki within the slice shatter with a sickening crack. The next attack still wasn’t for him, and Yan’s mind shifted to Tomoko, his senses were still on high alert tracking all the ki around him. That wouldn’t do. His aura flared up and his eyes closed. He felt the movement of the jaggedy ki and followed it, stepping into its path with a lunge so his palm crashed down on its spinning top. In one speedy action he used the momentum to swing himself and the bubbling disk around in a circle to reface Chaos and push his hand out to send the changed ki back towards the charging emperor who was diving right into it. Could he stop in time? He was right on the heels and thus theoretically should have been slamming into Yan’s palm and his sticky net. But if he did swerve Yan would adjust his aim accordingly, and mentally compliment the dexterity. There were two things that could have happened then. Either Chaos didn’t swerve and his blazing fist would indeed crash into Yan’s palm or he would swerve. The former worked out the best for Yan who could easily plant his feet and push his own aura up from his hand to give him the strength to stop Chaos in his tracks like a hardened Gracelander wall, while receiving no damage. He would get the chance to feel Chaos then directly and he could get his answer. If he swerved, the question remained. Was it Chaos? Yan didn’t sense it in his ki. But he needed to feel the man himself as he had Tomoko. He needed physical touch, so he would follow the swerve, and throw his ki shielded body into Chaos’ side to send him off track again from Tomoko and to slow him enough Yan could get that feel, that touch. It was electrifying as always. If he could, the monkey’s hand would graze the emperor’s face as Yan shielded himself from the actual damage of the attack. Then, he would let him go. ”Wasn’t you.”No. There was something different to Chaos, but he still lacked the feeling stamped upon those that left this multiverse of dimensions. To truly trap Yan here while other worlds passed him by would be impossible and yet ...Was it possible to take momentary control and act as if you were in that space? It was food for thought, but there wasn’t a fresh scent on him to suggest Chaos had maneuvered the magic needed for such an action. That left the android and the Namekian. His suspicions were more heavily pressed on the green child considering Namek’s history of magic use, but he couldn’t write anyone off just yet. He took off, running straight at Dende, who might have seen him at this point. In the end, he didn’t have to touch him to feel it. He felt it just in the sphere of space around the boy. It wasn’t the energy he thought it was, so once more, his safety had been reestablished but it was...odd. It was so very familiar and he couldn’t reme— ”Anna.” Oh, he knew that tech, oh so well. How many times had she used it only to have an attack form right on top of him? Even in their domestic life she used it now and again to taunt him. There it was, the mystery solved. He had been going about things entirely the wrong way while thinking of a bigger threat than this battle. His paranoia died down a little only to remember where he was and what he was doing and the fact he was still charging at a Namekian boy. Well. He was here. Chaos was here. No one was supposed to kill Tomoko but him... He reached to boy with his right palm stretched towards his small body aiming for point blank range. He shot two blasts from it before his head turned and four more blasts were sent off towards Quan and Chaos from his other hand, looping around the battlefield as if in a dance, making the angles of the actual strikes difficult to predict. He flashed the Namekian a smile. ”She hurts, we hurt, our lives restore her,” he said before shooting two more blasts at his face then spinning to shoot another four, two at each, before physically following one set to Quan. He knew Namek. As much as he disliked Namek he had been directly connected to Perrin for far too long to not know Namek. Every brutal attack she endured caused tears and anguish, but Namek was strong. Perrin knew that when he wanted to lead the Namekians into battle. He knew her, and her life, and how tough she truly was. The land of Chaos and Yan’s last battle had already been reformed. Dragonballs had probably been used unless the Cosmic Empire wasn’t actually Namek’s ally and wanted to let her suffer. The pain was real. They were hurting her, but if Dende’s only answer to people hurting Namek was hurting Namek to stop them, his perspective needed to grow. He went towards Quan, flipping up over the android’s head. It was the android’s turn for two point blank shots while Yan pew pewed Dende and Chaos this time for their two. ”You’re dumb,” was all he said before he was gone again, this time aiming to get behind Chaos who was likely focused on Tomoko again. He didn’t speak to alert of his attack, attempting to plant two balls into the small of the emperor’s back before he flipped into the air with a rush of ki to send two more volleys towards Quan and Dende in the same spiraling and tricky to predict way. ”You’re still pretty!” he called to the emperor. After the quick zigzaging, Yan’s speed sending him to each person with an annoying amount of ease, he landed once more back to back with Tomoko Kuroda. ”And you,” he let out in a hiss. With a longer pause next to her, the chaos seed she implanted inside him sparked to life sending a much more potent sense of foreboding and mania across the battlefield. ”If you didn’t destroy the ship we could have had epic battle music.”He had his priorities, as always.

The cinder demon did not expect her surroundings to change so suddenly. It was like she blinked and she was being cloaked with Yan’s dangerous energy that was threatening to play with her a little too hard this time around, but instead of allowing it to, a purple haze cloaked her body and she pushed herself downward, out of the blasts harmful radius which was so concentrated in one fixed point. It helped her even more when Yan realized the weird mix up and concentrated the blast away from her. She fell to the ground, again in a state of deja vu and she spun her head around and snarled at Yan to at first.
“Hey! Did you just try and kill me!?” At that notion, she moved toward Yan, or attempted to, so she could clock up upside the head. If he wanted to fight her then so be i--. An invisible blast of ki smashed into her and she stumbled not paying too much attention to the light show that the machine put forth. “Ah, shit!” Her attention had been brought to the android who was her original target to begin with. He created another disc of energy and the buzz saw came at her with intentions of following her if she ran, but she didn’t do that. Instead she grinned.
“Another one of these things? Okay, I’ll play.” She stared it down like a game of chicken and once it approached her she pulled in a massive amount of air before screaming at it. “Fuck off!” It shattered into purple glass shards that rained down onto the ground. Tomoko honestly wanted to answer Dende, the young little Namekian but she couldn’t with this robot hot on her tail and he took a stance, which as he did her entire body illuminated into a white muddiness.
Just as he got lose to strike her once, she exploded into tiny white dots of energy and her form was completely gone. Her body had gotten closer to her other aggressor, Chaos, who was trying literally cut through her. The first few attacks were countered by Yan. Okay, so maybe she could forgive him for trying to kill her, but she’d never forgive him for missing. But this last attack was coming in fast. Tomoko spun her entire body around his fist, but not into a dodge. She used every ounce of her body strength and smacked his charging fist away from her and instead was rammed by his shoulder in a tackle.
She laughed. She laughed instead of cried in pain and with him so close she stared him eye to eye finally for the first time in years. This was the man. Her body tingled and shook while in his embrace for the moment. “Hi again, big guy.” She pushed off of him and landed on the ground with a rough thud and she looked between the three opponents before her eyes went back to Yan.
“What?” As usual Red was arguing with her again. He always had his focus and even with all the insanity going on on the battlefield he still had time to berate her and her decisions. "Geez, sorry! If you want music so damn bad then give me a second I’ll get something going, you fucking cry baby!”
She rolled her eyes in annoyance, but then she grinned as she looked at him. “Next time you try and kill me don’t miss, okay?”A1. ST+TK Dodge Cake Batter Free. Take Kiaiho [+1.5%]

Ref Update
Ok I was asked to look into the dodge performed by Tomo to avoid Yan's Finisher after Tomo was placed into the path of it and being surprised by the explosions. Honestly its a simple matter of RP and stats. The combined writing of both Yan and Tomo to address the Time Freeze and subsequent maneuvering was not entirely convincing. Yan states he worked to move his attack and it would only likely move an inch... multiple explosion points... massive power... and honestly this is where Yan's extreme speed becomes an Achilles heel for his teammate. He is simply to fast... making his attack TOOOOO FAST TO DODGE. 2.4 million speed... even with Speed Teleport and the attempt at a TK assist... Yan is 8x faster than Tomo in that instance. There would be no way in my mind a full dodge is earned. Even a partial or half dodge along with DD and the Kiaiho finishes the job.
Tomo is TKO...

Dende’s eyes narrowed as he observed the newly arrived opponent who stood in front of the woman. This person stood in the direct path of the Cosmic Emperor. With the power he demonstrated the young Namekian certainly understood how he could attempt such a feat. As he was observing however Dende noticed something rather odd with the way the man moved.
Rather than attempting to evade an attack he instead moved in and shifted his body as one might to counter another’s momentum. The scouter in his helmet began to go awry with warnings as Dende quickly shouted out in warning to the Cosmic Emperor in hopes of warning him of the danger. He hoped he was able to foil the man’s attempt to reverse the attack. The man demonstrated excellent from regardless.
When Yan got in front of Dende it caused the young Namekian’s eyes to grow wide. He wanted to say something, anything but he was unable to. Two blasts struck his chest and detonated. The impact slammed into his armor and caused him to reel back in anguish. While they weren’t extremely potent they still hurt. He’d barely recovered from that assault when his attacker said something which made little sense at the time. Before Dende could ponder over those words he began to unleash two more blasts towards his face.
Out of sheer instinct his weapon was raised to protect his face. Ki resonated within the weapon’s dark blade. When it pulsed it sought to pull in the inbound ki and defuse it before it could cause any harm. When he lowered his blade the opponent was already on the move. Two more blasts flew in and Dende renewed his effort to fend them off. The dark blade resonated with a gentle flow of energy which would hopefully disperse the two blasts once more. Ideally the foreign ki would resonate out and infuse itself into the attack and break it down from within.
Dende smiled sheepishly as he thought the worst had already passed. That is before two more blasts slammed into him once more. His anguished cry rang out across the battlefield. He could tell that this man would not go down without a fight. In order to bring things to a swift end would Dende need to take a risk? Normally he preferred to play it safe but he was being pushed in this fight against a stronger foe. The ki he still possessed was less than half of what he could muster. Air rushed into his lungs as he took a deep breath. His focus turned inward.
Ki ignited within his body as his power steadily rose. There was an internal reservoir of power within all beings but pulling it forth required effort so it was normally inaccessible. It was difficult to operate at full power at every waking moment without untold strain being placed on the body. However, this was not the time to hold back. Even with the excess energy would it be enough? Worry plagued him to such an extent he dug even deeper. Energy flowed through his body and it brought a calm sigh from the young Namekian. Rather than attempting to track the man by sight he focused his perception outward. While the man was fast, his ki signature stood out like a vast beacon on a moonless night.
Dende summoned forth some energy into his palm. It felt warm to the touch but he quickly set about the task of molding it. Rather than being pure energy it began to shift into a green blob-like substance. He hurled it towards his opponent and as it traveled the ki began to spread out. It acted akin to bolas and ran the risk of ensnaring his opponent if it struck. The muscles along his arm constricted and grew tense as the nature of the channeled energy changed.
The sound of his teeth grinding was almost deafening as the volatile ki reached its limit. Dende unleashed it with a silent apology. This battle had to be brought to a swift conclusion to avoid it being taken elsewhere. There was one major obstacle in his desire to keep this battle contained from getting anymore out of hand. Simply put the man’s range of movement far exceeded what Dende was capable of even on his best day. A plan quickly fell together so the young Namekian reaffirmed his resolve.
In an apparent panic he stepped forward and lobbed a small orb of ki towards his opponent. The energy was subdued compared to his previous attack but it possessed enough power to make sure it would be felt if taken head on. Dende began to lob orb after orb in a feigned attempt to overwhelm his opponent. Each sphere would be easily avoided for someone moving at half the man’s speed. However, any stray blast quickly began to lag until a net had been formed.
With the last domino in place Dende closed his fist and brought them all closing in with the clear desire to cut off any avenue of escape. He only hoped this would buy enough time for the others to go on the offensive once more.

Thud!
The battlefield fell mute to his ears, his eyes drawn to the sound of Tomoko hitting the ground lamely. A smile pulled his pale lips as he relished the moment. He took a step towards the fallen warrior, so lost in thought over what he was about to do, he never saw the first volley.
A pair of blasts caught him clean in the shoulder and nearly took him off his feet. “It’s not your turn!,” he snarled.
His blade whipped around him in a wide arc, narrowly dissecting the next few. The energy split at the edge of his blade and veered around him only to explode in the distance.
He struggled to keep up with Yan’s movements but his body reacted on the instincts of hundreds of victorious battles, but each interception came within a millimeter or less of failure and his arm burned with the strain of keeping up.
There was no time to risk a glance, but he sensed Dende holding his own amidst the furious assault, though it was impossible to know how the android faired. His blade dove behind his back just in time to deflect some blasts mere inches from his spin. It was only then that he realized his breath caught in his throat but he dare not exhale, not when every movement was weighed in microseconds and a single slip up could spoil his delicious revenge.
“Enough!” he bellowed while snapping his fingers. Yan had distanced himself from the Emperor--though he continued to unload blasts-- and that distance between them suddenly erupted, swallowed those blasts whole. The blast rumbled too and beyond where Yan stood like a wave of napalm.
“Alright prick. Now it’s your turn,” he spat, staining the ground red.
His gaze never left Yan, even as the wall of fire initially blanketed him from view. His Ki senses were intimately familiar with this particular pest and there was no chance he would lose track of him so easily. Still, the gap in their speed was not going to easily overcome. When Tomoko was the only enemy on the field there was little need for any sort of planning-- just overwhelm her with brute force. Easy.
Yan Cass, though…
This would require impossibly precise timing and coordination.
Unfortunately, Dende was incapable of receiving telepathic communication from him and the other guy...well...the other guy’s a robot. Luckily, Chaos was no novice to coordinating complex strategies all his own.
The sword in his hand rattled beneath his white knuckled grip as he watched Dende pepper Yan with his own salvo. Chaos’ eye traced each the blasts in flight and recognized what the crafty Namekian had in mind. He hovered high above the battlefield as Dende’s trap unfolded. With the high ground he had everything in sight below. As the trap snapped closed the Emperor willed whatever oxygen remained around Yan to explode no matter which way he try to run.
A cacophony of explosions rocked the world and sent plumes of black smoke high into the air, fires across the island burning with renewed vigor and fuel. Without wasting a moment to ascertain Yan’s fate behind the fiery veil he conjured a gigantic disk of ki above his outstretched hand and sent it whirring down.
Locked onto the familiar Ki signature, the deadly disk swerved straight down when it got within ten feet of the target and tore through the rock bed, burrowing further and further into the planet’s crust. It would erupt from behind Yan a heartbeat later. It dove for Yan’s spine a geyser of molten hot magma spewed from the gash the disk had exited from.
The red hot liquid fountained into a massive, unnatural wave that any onlooker would notice was being controlled by Chaos himself as it moved in time with his hand motions. The air around it distorted against the immense heat of it, the hot blood of Namek split wide like the jaws of some great fiery beast and snapped closed around Yan as Chaos closed his hand into a tight fist.
Even from up here the sound of lava hissing against stone was easily heard. ‘We can’t let up,’ he reminded himself while summoning an array of portals around Yan. The portals followed different laws than the familiar natural laws of this reality and so could track and follow Yan no matter how fast he moved or where he tried to hide.
From within those crimson distortions came thick black chains intent on wrapping around Yan’s extremities with serpentine ferocity. These were not typical metal, of course. These were the legendry Chains of Mephistopheles, capable of restraining gods and devils by greatly reducing their effects on the local space-time. Truth be told he didn’t expect them to do much, but every advantage from here on was absolutely critical. He couldn’t tell if his opponent's were serious up until Tomoko took her little dirt nap. As far as he could tell, Yan Cass was never serious.
He and Tomoko were just alike, joking, laughing. They were just alike. Foolish. Soon enough they would both be silent, for the Cosmic Emperor didn’t come to play and kid around about music and spaceships.
He came for a fight. He came for blood. He came for vengeance.
A fresh rush of adrenaline hit his extremities, the icy-hot sensation causing the hairs on his translucent flesh to stand on end. He felt a jolt of energy run through him as his body instinctively prepared for what was to come.

”Hey! Did you just try and kill me!?”He had only really heard it in the background, but now that he thought back, when he reached Tomoko her flesh was charred from new damage and she smelled heavily of smoke. She had fallen from his blast, down further, but Yan’s speed was too high for the slow Damaskian. He had registered her damage; where her suit argued against her wounds, where it darkened from blood, and how her roughly beautiful face had become marred and cut open. He registered it when he reached for Tomoko, but he had not prioritized it. She was the bitch of war, if she could not handle this much violence her name should be revoked. He carried onward. Chaos ignored his advances entirely. He had the freedom to as his altered ki melted into wisps of smoke at the Namekian magician’s calling. Thus, the emperor could charge freely into Yan’s shielded form. He likely got that touch, that sweet caress, but then he moved on. He let Chaos plow into Tomoko and only then could her lifeless thud be heard. But it still wasn’t his priority. Instead, Yan’s grin grew wide at Chaos’ growl, letting lose a silent laugh. He bounced around, delivering his messages, and Chaos was last, finally coming up with a counter. Yan’s aura flared up around him to protect him from the ensuing blast. It still got a good dig into him and in the end his feet slid through the scorched earth next to where Tomoko was laid sprawled out, his quip lost to her unconscious. He didn’t pay her any mind still. Now he had everyone’s full attention, and that’s how he liked it. ”Oh my,” Yan let out, feigning concern. ”Has an outsider interfering with your battle and business upset you?” he asked with a wicked grin. ”Somehow I know the feeling exactly!”It was funny how things had changed in the last year--since Chaos’ defeat. He had become bitter and old, trying to reshape his shame into hatred for the man who had ‘somehow’ defeated him. Now Yan was a prick and an annoyance and the monkey was quite happy to be getting his revenge. Their fight last year on Namek was an annoyance. It was uncalled for, and showed where Chaos’ loyalties were and would always remain, but Yan sought little for that venture. His time on Kelioux, however...He still thought that was one of the stupidest things he ever saw. Similarly to how Yan jumped in now to interfere with Chaos’ destruction onto his planet’s invader, Chaos had jumped into a battle that Yan had been in for the destruction of Kelioux’s invader. Unlike with Yan and Tomoko, Bra was not Chaos’ ally. She was his enemy. He had no reason to step in except to take Yan’s side, and instead he attacked Yan because he was afraid of…? Yan still wasn’t sure, but this felt appropriate. This was his vengeance finally in action. Even if he was far more in the right than Chaos had been, he was sure the emperor felt exactly as he had that day. Yan was a nuisance. He was in the way. He was a threat needing dealt with in a situation he shouldn’t even have been involved in. For those feelings, the situation was quite perfect, and Yan stared the man in the eyes with a challenge mixed heavily in amusement. This is what you get. Of course, unlike Chaos, Yan’s pettiness only went that far. He could lose here today and he would still feel satisfied for this brisk annoyance. Though, he still didn’t plan to lose. Besides, it was still funny, and he laughed then--full and cheerful, almost maniacal, his head tilting back as the young Namekian built up his energy. If Dende was surprised a man could stand before the Cosmic Empire without quivering, he’d be further surprised to see a man who could so easily laugh in Chaos’ face. Yan’s own blue ki darkened however, while the dark smoke like tendrils danced on the tips of it like a new color of flame. ”Three vs one?” he asked, seeing his opponents even if the android seemed to have had a malfunction. ”My, my...Well, let’s show you just how far you’ve fallen, emperor,” he said, keeping a coy smile, before his aura pressed in against his skin, causing him to glow with dark edges, reinforcing his body defenses, though his posture showed a clear ‘come at me.’ Chaos was once, in Yan’s mind, a noble warrior. He had pride in his victories and his accomplishments. But this? Needing two more people to handle a man who four years ago had been handled by him like it was child’s play. If Yan had gotten this much stronger, what exactly had Chaos been doing? How had he let things go this far? How had he ended up respecting the power of someone who never took things seriously? How did he become so over shadowed he stood there knowing he needed a precise battle plan with multiple allies to deal with one man? One of those allies was the first to go on the offensive, and Yan’s sharp blue eyes flashed towards Dende before the blob was fully made. His nose wrinkled just a little, but he steadied himself, planting his feet in the ash and dirt. The blob split then hit him, wrapping around him like flubber, and Yan’s eyes closed, knowing what would happen next from the soft vibrations in the ki. His aura flared outward with precise timing, pushing back the explosion as it happened in a blinding blue light. The force of the attack did not miss him however. Charred marks covered his torn armor, while the shockwave pushed the sharp broken edges into his soft flesh. The heat prickled against his skin like jabbing needles. Pain. It registered somewhere in his mind, powering up his adrenaline glands, but the other drugs coursing through the monkey’s system numbed him out quite a bit. Compared to Chaos’ torture where he had no true defense, everything was so much duller here. Needless to say, his eyes opened and his smile remained, fixating on the boy, this time with clear challenge. The next blast crashed into his aura, the impact twisting his body sideways and sending his planted feet skidding backwards a few feet, as it too exploded against his chest. He felt the wind knocked out of him, that choking sensation and sudden dizziness, but it was brief. Instead he was left with the erupted flames that made his armor scalding with heat that carried towards his skin. That one hurt a bit, which made his smile grow even wider, as if happy to feel the stronger force. The next few blasts were slow and Yan got impatient, taking a side step where needed, his eyes staying fixed on the boy. The ki didn’t vanish. They didn’t crash into anything, and Yan could feel the growing power around him like a warm blanket blocking out harsh wind. They pooled together so making an escape would be as interesting as pulling an android from out between three blasts surrounding him, but he wasn’t interested in that. With new speed, they came raining down and shooting across, and this time Yan’s aura took shape, pushing out and hardening into a small cube. Each blast pelted into it. Some were completely overtaken by the barrier while others slid through, pelting him much softer than Dende intended, and Yan cracked his neck to the side, turning it upwards to Chaos. The box shrank back to his skin on command, just as Yan felt the familiar warmth of his old friend’s ki getting ready to burst in all directions. His ki pushed it back, invaded it and argued with it until they reached a compromise as some of the explosion rocked into him while a chunk of it had been siphoned away. He lost his footing a bit, blood choking up in his throat, his bones feeling crushed by the force of impact on all sides. His nose bled from pressure alone. He felt like his bones were scraping against themselves as he moved to stablize his weight, but it was nothing compared to Chaos’ earlier torture. It did nothing to Yan’s mind, and he gritted his teeth but kept his smile. Despite the fact that Yan had stood there taking each torment, Chaos still felt the need to be tricky. The disk crashed into the ground and caused Yan to flinch. He expected to feel the slicing blade and the surprise of its sudden departure set him on edge. When the disk did come shooting at him from behind, his body moved on in instinct, and he started to move away from it, to use his speed to avoid it, but he stopped himself, lifting his arms and shifting his body so the edge of it sliced against his back rather the managing to dig into his spine. It was still like a rough flaming edge cutting from hip to hip, causing another wince, though his energy stayed focused, as did his mind. And the chaos seed fed. He had pivoted to change the angle of the slice, thus it was easy to bring his other foot forward to then launch himself upwards and away from the rising lava. Even with Chaos’ telepathic powers guiding it, lava was much heavier than Yan’s lithe form. It was bulkier too, meaning it had more difficulty keeping up with the sharp turns Yan took before reaching his goal. He could see all of Chaos’ plans for it too, as his hands gave away the secret quite easily. ”Seen this already!” he shouted when he reached him. That was his goal. He had ran right towards Chaos, swerving and making tight turns as he needed until he could almost reach the man and the assault would stop—unless Chaos also wanted to be covered in the white hot liquid. But that wasn’t all. He rushed right at Chaos, his claw like hand pulled back as if to deliver his trademark attack of attempting to shove his appendage into the man in order to unload his ki inside. At the last moment however, Yan side stepped out of the way, and his attack came from behind the emperor instead. It built up immediately against the emperor’s skin while the distraction was still in play, and the explosion erupted just as Yan slipped away. It was forceful and rough, almost aiming to send Chaos spiraling into his own lava, but Yan was always more intimate than that. He just wanted Chaos to feel the weight of his explosion, especially after the man ran away from the last one. He wanted the emperor to first hand endure all his chaos so that it might spread upon him. Maybe it would loosen him up a bit. From Yan’s step away, he hopped along, spinning back to face them with all his good cheer, when very familiar portals opened up all around him, surrounding him in red doors ”Seen this one too…” he said, but this time he said it much more dejectedly. The thick dark chains shot out and caught him. They always caught him! He really needed to find a better defense for these things. Magic and dimensional science was tricky. If Yan was a better dimensional traveler, he’d have no problem at all, but despite his constant traveling, he really sucked at it. He couldn’t escape the trap as it rose and surrounded him, and it took all his concentration to shift out of the dimension that Chaos’s chains had made more fragile in their twisting of space time. He reappeared a few feet away, falling flat on his face, but pleased by his success and that he hadn’t accidentally left the battle entirely and gotten trapped in the space between dimensions. That was never fun, and there was always a risk… It took him a small moment to lift himself up, but when he did it was in one fluid gesture, hopping to his feet, before dancing from foot to foot to get a physical grasp on the world again. He was still kind of dizzy from the trip, and coming back from the devastatingly quiet space between dimensions where there was no hot or cold into this… What exactly had they done to this place already? Tomoko had started it, digging into the surface before reshaping it with molten rock. The constant force of explosions had shifted the pull of the waves still a little ways from them, making their battle field a little larger, but leaving them with the threat of a tsunami once things quieted down again--if anyone was still alive then. Where there were once trees and grass was rubble and stumps. What survived kept fires burning and the field was becoming so thick with smoke that every pause of rushing speed made it slide back in to try and dive into their eyes and throat. The air was blurry from heat, and Chaos’s newest river of lava threatened anyone on the ground. He was reminded of certain parts of hell, and it certainly felt like it after even so short a reprieve. The smoke began to move towards him, trying to entangle in his own smokey ki when he perked up. ”Oh, is it my turn now?” he asked no one in particular, nor did he wait for an answer as he charged back towards Chaos. His energy powered back up in an instant, the ki surrounding his body all pooling into his hand. When he reached Chaos he pivoted once more, taking aim almost on instinct before he unleashed a beam towards the emperor’s side. Dende was straight ahead from there, so if Chaos managed to side step it, it’d be headed straight for the boy. Hell, if he was lucky, it’d slam into Chaos and then the boy! But beams were never Yan’s specialty, and after a small amount of time passed, likely only enough to get to Dende, the potent energy broke apart, splitting atoms as it did, and unleashing a gigantic explosion. Once more the waves were sent stumbling backward over themselves into a new current. The old smoke was replaced with new smoke and the things that had once been able to carry fire were snuffed out into more toxic gas. Lava erupted from the ground from the impact, shooting skywards before raining down on them in an entirely new form of splash damage. Yan steepled his fingers together, and then stretched them and his arms out in front of him as he watched the damage unfold. When the most brutal part was over, he dived back into the smoke and wreckage until he could find the melted body he had left behind. ”Bitch, I don’t miss slow asses like you,” he said, before his hand dropped down on the sticky mess. It glew once more, activating Damaskian bio-tech that had been modified with SeiTech ki manipulation technology, and as he lifted his hand, her body inflated to rise with it. She became person shaped, again, though she was hardly recognizable from the soot and blood. She wasn’t roughly beautiful right now. It didn’t take long at all, just something to bring her back from the brink. He didn’t have anything else he could offer but… ”And I’m not done with you,” he said, standing up again and giving her a small kick to get her into gear.

It was a complete shut down of her body. Every pop of his fireworks snapped a bone and shredded away flesh from its ivory. The amount of adrenaline that pumped through her, allowed the cinder demon to push through the pain all the way up until her deflect of Chaos’ fist. When she was brought into his arms and she gleefully let loose a cry of joy, still her body moved. Her body, after she pushed off of him, fell to the ground and there was still that sickening thud that rang out. Her body was a twisted mess and she was completely unconscious for that moment. Deep within her mind she found herself staring into the darkness of it.
“Oh. I guess that body barely could hold up. Geez, What exactly happened?”
Her form was naked and sat down on the cold black floor. Then she heard Yan’s voice. He called her slow and she grinned. That part was definitely true, but she also didn’t care for speed. Why run from punishment? It didn’t take long before the darkness around her began to brighten up and she smiled wide, ear to ear.
“I guess this means he’s giving me another chance. Let’s spread the mania then shall we?”
Her body, from what could be seen, began to twist into place and the bones snapping back into socket and fixing themselves could be heard. What also could be heard was the low giggle coming from that pile of a body that was fixing itself. The giggle had gotten louder and louder as the body had become more and more complete. Her armor was still intact yet, her body was more emancipated than it was before. Tomoko could no longer hold on to a decent and pretty form any longer.
Her body, reverted to it’s horror and it’s true form. Her eyes were sunken. The bright orange pupils were smaller. Every inch of her body had shrunk into a smaller and more childish form, the armor shrinking to fit. Her laughter was no longer evident in her facial expression, which was stale and cold. Even so, the laughter spread towards them all, as if she was broadcasting it right into their brains, all except for the immune. The laughter wasn’t needed to spell out the horrific aura though. Her aura was sick to the feel if someone tried to sense her. This was not the cinder demon, the title she was giving herself.
The decedent bitch stared towards Chaos, singling him out from them all.
“There isn’t anything you can do to me, that would satisfied your want of my suffering because,” she started in a childish voice. A bright smile and spread across her small face. All while she spoke her body was churning a great energy and the brightening of her skin was the giveaway.
“Suffering is my reward!!!”
Her eyes widened and her arms flailed out. A dozen blasts of energy ripped from her body with an even amount of 4 blasts aiming toward the three who opposed her. Before she pulled her hands back down, her pistol she had before spawned in her left hand with an almost comical poof of white smoke.
“So give me my reward!!!”
She fired two blasts from the pistol at all three of them, waving her hand and stopping at each of them between the crosshairs to get a good accurate shot at them. There was a point where she wanted to honor Dende’s request not to destroy this planet, but she did not feel obligated to, seeing who he was keeping around as company. If Namek was to fall from this battle, then it was just one of those happy accidents. She could always clean it up later. 1. Korin Sensu Bean!! [-55% damage/fatigue +30% ki]2. Transform!!

Loading The battle raged on as all of the chess pieces moved to and fro. Impressive displays of chi control and emotions ran asunder across the Namekian battlefield. The monk warrior zoned out as his body halted in mid-air. As motionless as the android was on the external, made up for movement on the inside.
The mind and chi of the attacked teacher was empty and full at the same time. An invisible blanket of protection kept the master safe, for the time being. All that could be felt was a spiritual feeling of lightness. It could only be described as ascendance.
Master Quan maneuvered through the terrain of his life energy as memories poured in from his past life as a monk on the planet earth. His human form was much different than his metallic clad physique of the current. The blue tattooed symbols lined his body better than any artwork known to man.
The details faded as sensory receptors responded to the tides of battle. The Namekian boy who came in his defense along with the dark armor-clad warrior. Their relationship was unknown to him; however, he was more than grateful. His attacker and red head stowaway made their stand. Quan’s student, Lu, was nowhere to be seen in the nearby area as he had instructed. This was a good thing.
Opened eyes gave view to the red head fighter manipulating energy in his hands. It was familiar. The android master was keen on techniques and had viewed many in recent time passed in his altercations and trainings. It favored something he used. It would not work on him again as it did with the female whole flew her space craft into him did in their initial introduction.
The eye slits of the android gave off a richer glow as the technique released from the hand of the speedy human. An aura with the same color emitted from the master’s body and technique faded from existence. An internal warning alarmed from the built-in scouter as a sluggishly revived woman fired off powerful energy attacks. The first volley was stalled as power had gathered before delivery.
Powerful blasts bombarded the air space as Master Lei used his speed to his advantage and stuck to the air with a disappearing, reappearing act only to come head on with one more stream of orbs. This was he decided was simple enough to provided protection over the ones who originally came to his aid. An outreached left hand displayed a small, smooth crystal dome in the middle of his palm.
Light initiated a vacuum effect on the stream of energy bullets from the cannon she fired from. It was new and something he had to jot down for later in his memory banks. The wide spray of energy piled back in on itself in a uniformed following all down into the open left hand of the cybernetic teacher.
Situational awareness ruled the stage with a change of energy flow. For the first time the level of chi filled and erupted into an outward show of strength from the Android. A surge of energy filled him with a levitating elegance as both arms flowed away from his body with a slight bent right knee and nearly straightened left leg. Ascension began as his body effortlessly floated up higher than the field.
Concentration.
Visualization.
Quan Lei channeled an invisible power which to ensnare the red one. His telekinetic powers wear nearly mastered; however, he knew they would prove appropriate enough for this situation. A pair of invisible hands of kindness reached out for the being and trap him in his own space.

Chaos’ dark gaze followed Yan’s sharp movements, a headache setting in just from the strain. His arms conducted a mad symphony and the wave of lava darted and dove behind the speedy little man but was perpetually a step too slow to ensnare.
A frustrated growl rumbled from low in his throat. Yan was too fast, too fluid for the hefty mass of molten rock to ever catch. He frantically willed the wave on, but it was hopelessly outclassed. His target Pac-Man’d across the landscape his trajectory carried him ever closer to the Cosmic Emperor. His teeth grit as Yan’s plan became clear.
“Heh. Got you," he said with an arrogant smile.
He placed his arms out wide, giving himself up to the impending wave, eyes closing slow. He felt Yan’s energy, recognized the sudden swell of power that he had no hope of avoiding. But he didn’t intend too.
A fireball blew apart the air and the force of it instantly splattered the approaching lava wave. For a few hellish moments the sky rained fire. The thunderous explosion and the wailing recoil winds tore at his ears, the heat blistered his luminescent flesh. Chaos’ body hurtled down with smoke trialing.
Crunch!!
He slammed into the ground, white filled his vision as hot pain sta bbed through his left side.
He staggered to his feet, vaguely aware of the Chaos shaped crater l eft behind. He tenderly touched his side and felt a rib slide back into place. The sensation nearly made him heave but he maintained his composure.
“Fuck...that hurt,” he complained.
Despite how much it hurt he couldn’t contain the laughter that followed. He reached up fished the tiny necklace from behind his ethereal chest plate. A tiny, simple trinket on a plain black chain. He thumbed it idly, almost curious if it would really work. He chanted the activation command in a whisper and it gave off a sick green glow in response. He smiled and blood leaked down his chin.
Maybe he couldn’t move faster than Yan-- but he could think faster. Yan was clever, but he wasn’t smart. In all their encounters he had learned much of the man’s skill, power, speed, and intelligence. He learned in those meetings that Yan, like most men, thought he possessed much more of those things than he actually did. Overconfidence was a sin Yan Cass unabashedly indulged in.
Surely he thought something like ‘I’m so fast, I’ll just zoom-zoom right up to him and then zig when he thinks I’ll zag!’
No doubt he was proud of himself. And he played right into the Emperor's hands.
Chaos lifted the glowing trinket and aimed it in Yan’s direction, sick grin darkened by the eerie light.
The light emanating from it intensified and bathed the landscape in its glow. It washed over Yan as he spoke and the connection was made. All the pain Chaos endured from that last attack was replicated and sent in full to the approaching enemy.
His eyes widened full of surprise. Yan was undeterred but no way unaffected. “Seen this one before,” he mocked, vanishing just as Yan threatened touch him. The open maw of a wide beam swallowed the area where he had stood an instant before, tearing apart his after image as it went.
Yan’s overconfidence in his own abilities would be nearly as damning as downplaying who he was up against. Yan had gotten lucky a few times in their past, forgotten the predator he now faced. But that didn’t bother Chaos. Not when Yan’s allegiances as much as his ego cemented his fate. What would he care of a dead man’s opinion?
He wanted to laugh, his mouth parted to let it out, but it caught in his throat. Through the clearing in the smoke he could see--
“No...no way. It’s my lucky fucking day,” he said, staring in bewilderment. “I get to kill her twice.”
No sooner had the words left his lips a salvo of blasts tore through the smokey veil. He counted four incoming, noting the sluggishness of their approach. Whatever Yan did, whatever unholy resurrection he had performed, had not restored Tomoko completely he surmised. If she were in better condition surely these anemic blasts would be screaming into them.
With a shrug of the shoulders he twisted at the last second letting the first blast go sailing harmlessly past his chest by an inch. A slight dip backward let another one go by without coming any closer. He flew straight up at the last second and the last two collided with each other.
Curls of smoke from that collision wafted past him as he let gravity take him to the ground at freefall speed. As he went through he was peppered by a pair of shots from an energy weapon. The rounds smacked him in his heavily armored chest but still burned the skin underneath.
With a sneering arrogance he replied to the meek attack with a small barrage of his own, starting as a single blast before spliting into a quarter dozen for Yan and Tomoko each. They were basic, but they were merely intended to buy him a little time, tho in her current condition even these would likely be too dangerous for Tomoko to ignore.
When his feet gently touched down he already had a portal conjured before him. He snatched a box from it and pressed a button on its side. A needle sprang out of it and he jammed it into his arm. Special Avalonian medications flooded his bloodstream and accelerated his natural healing process. It paled in comparison to a senzu bean, but it did the trick.
There was a very fleeting moment of silence, only the burning fires and crash of waves between the combatants. Chaos cast a glance at Dende, certain the Vaizard would understand his meaning.
Power broke the peace, a maelstrom of raw energy battering the world around him as he gathered a mind boggling amount of Ki. Chaos vanished in the haze of an afterimage again, blurring into sight above and behind Tomoko and Yan. His left hand was ablaze with Ki and aimed right at her. He pump faked and swung his aim to Yan and let it loose.
He rushed out of the impact zone, the force of the blast conceivably enough to destroy the neighboring continent with ease.
But he wasn’t finished, figure already fading. He reappeared high above the battlefield again and let another planet altering blast fly. It lanced down from the heavens like a black lightning bolt and detonated right above his targets with deafening force.

The once beautiful landscape was reduced to a nightmare manifested for the young Namekian. Initially he hoped to overwhelm the woman then tend to her wounds. If it was just her he could have at least ensured her survival along with the preservation of the landscape. However, that was no longer possible. Dende watched in mounting horror. He’d attempted to keep the destructive nature of his attacks to a minimum and more contained than the unchecked pandemonium others wrought.
His pink-eyed gaze settled upon the charging opponent. The man’s red-hair matched the rising emotion Dende felt deep within the core of his being. Normally he tried to remain calm and collected. Even when pressed he didn’t enjoy giving into baser emotions. Even if peace was once a possibility, no matter how remote, it was burned up in the flow of lava that erupted from the planet like blood from a gaping wound. Their opponent charged in intent to unleash another wave of destruction. The energy Dende felt from the man chilled him to the bone. Through clenched teeth he fought the urge to scream out.
Now was not the time to lose it as there would be little time to seek safe refuge from the destruction if he didn’t act. Dende crouched low before pushing off the ground with all of his strength. The force caused the already compromised ground to fracture. A deep pang wrenched his heart as he soared high up into the sky. The energy he felt was reminiscent of the attack the machine had unleashed. Unlike before, Dende was not confident enough to hurl his opponent up into the sky. This meant that Namek would bear the brunt of the attack. From his vantage point he was able to truly take stock of his surroundings.
A flash of light bathed his body as the explosion forever changed the terrain. Anger swelled up and caused him to choke. Tears began to form in his eyes which he was forced to shield against the wave of dust and debris that flew up from the ground below. The force of his leap began to lose out to the incessant pull of gravity. A fleeting thought flowed through his mind. The planet was in pain and it sought to draw him in. He knew it wasn’t the case but the thought was like a needle being plunged into his chest.
Dende was in freefall when he noticed a figure rise from the dust cloud. The woman looked younger but there was no mistaking that manic laughter that rose up to greet his sensitive ears. In this situation how was she able to laugh? It seemed ludicrous. Did she find joy in all of this? Her words were lost as he hit the ground but his gaze never left her. The woman unleashed a flurry of blasts that seperated and headed for Dende and his two allies. In an attempt to evade the initial attack Dende forced energy through his legs to push his body to its upper limits. In a blur he jumped to the side. His boots left the ground for a brief moment before they touched down and dug through the disturbed soil.
In order to control his movement he slammed the scythe’s blade into the ground and came to an abrupt stop. Energy continued to expand the muscles in his legs, allowing for a far greater range of mobility. He was forced to leap directly up to avoid the second blast. The blade broke free and the momentary resistant was used to kick his body in a tight spin. The blade swept around and once more slammed into the ground as he started to fall.
Dende used it as an anchor point to hasten his descent in a frantic attempt to avoid the third blast. The final blast closed in. Dende continued to push his body to its limit. This time he kicked off the ground and rushed towards the right on a path towards the Cosmic Emperor. The woman produced a small sidearm at some point and fired off two shots at the distracted Namekian. Each one struck against his armored torso. The force knocked the wind from his lungs and caused him to stumble before he finally fell to his knees.
When he lifted his gaze a look of pure anguish dominated his expression. Anguish for the pain he was enduring and what was being done here. His pink-eyed gaze immediately sought out the Cosmic Emperor for some sign of hope. When their eyes locked a sense of foreboding settled heavily upon his shoulders. The look in the man’s eyes meant one thing. The Emperor was about to retaliate and there was little Dende could do to dissuade him from unleashing his full power.
With a silent curse Dende immediately vanished and rapidly fled the area to avoid being caught in Chaos’ onslaught upon their opponents. When the damage was done Dende wasted no time in reaching the Emperor’s side. Every fiber of his body was tense. Each resounding beat of his heart seemed to resonate with a pulse of energy from the dark crescent blade that settled against the ground. Dende reached out as if to snatch the Emperor by the collar. It was a foolish move but his eyes possessed a darkness rarely seen.
Energy ignited along his outstretched hand. At first it was erratic and unfocused. However, the closer it got the calmer it became. So long as he didn’t resist Dende’s hand would rest against his shoulder. Soothing energy seeped into the Emperor as it began to spread and amplify his body’s natural healing to such a degree it was capable of mending the man’s wounds before his very eyes. “This needs to end,” Dende muttered as he turned to look at their opponents. An intense emotion rose up within the young Namekian. One that he’d suppressed for a very long time.
His heart beat like a drum in his ears as his eyes began to narrow. The pink irises radiated electricity. Without speaking another word Dende ran across the battlefield taking care to avoid the pools and spouts of lava. The tip of his blade flowed across the ground. The surrounding heat was drawn to it. When it cleaved its way through a patch of partially dried lava the entire blade ignited in tandem with the mounting rage that burned within Dende’s heart. The dark flames converged to a single point before it shot out towards his target. As it would reach the red-haired man’s position Dende brought his weapon up and dug his lead foot into the ground. The sudden shift in his momentum brought his body into a swift spin. The remaining energy in the blade was forcibly expelled in a destructive wave aimed at both of his opponents.
The power that radiated within his eyes began to manifest and rapidly grow. Arcs of electricity darted off the Namekian’s body and struck across the ground. As the energy touched the pools of lava it began to change. Dende squared his shoulders and released everything he’d bottled up till that point. With a deafening roar energy burst from his body. A virtual inferno of lighting was born from the storm that raged in his heart. Each bolt streaked erratically as they sought out his opponents.
Dende continued to discharge a burst of electrically charged energy until he finally leaned forward and breathed heavily. The sheer effort and the pain he’d endured up to that point began to take a heavy toll upon his body.

The miniature cinder demon’s smile did not crack just yet. Her eyes were still focused on Chaos, but even with that narrowing focus, her body was alert of her surroundings. Namek had been dark from the smoke and fire for a long time, which made the little girl forget just how sunny and bright this peaceful planet could be. But no, that peace had to have been an illusion from the beginning. Peace was always an illusion and Tomoko was convinced that she had broken such a ruse. That was what she smiled about at first. She started taking steps toward her target and while she did so a calming mist of aura leaked from every pore of her body, showing a dark crimson hue that felt like a growing cloud. Yan and Chaos went at it and her eyes simply followed his every move, to the best of her ability. And that point her smile completely faded, and she replaced it with a childish pout.
Her attack brought her his notice. He stopped in mid laugh to acknowledge that this time around he did not kill her as sudden as he did so during the war, and she even spoke out matter of factually with such a tiny and loud tone.
“Did you know? My grave is just over there.” She said with her finger pointing off of the island and at a section of land that was almost a dot in comparison. As she pointed, a white glow outlined her body, adding protection to the barrage of simple blast that proved to be dangerous to her. They beat against her body, and each one that hit knocked her limbs back in force, but she continued to walk toward him. Her face had curled down into such evil. Not a shred of fear in her expression.
Not a tinge of confusion or hesitation, as she should have as she approached a giant such as himself. “I think about you more than I breathe. I think about you more than I think about Red.” The rain of fire pelted against the ground, burning holes into its soft carapace. The field of battle matched just what she wanted and exactly what she was about; destruction and fire. The cinder smelled of lilac to her and the way she took a breath in could very well fool another person into doing the same and expecting the sweet scent of honeysuckle.
Tomoko was ignorant to the gathering of power, unable to sense ki which aided in her nonchalance of his power spike. What caught her attention was his disappearance. Was he to attack them from an angle unseen? It didn’t matter to her as she came prepared for such tactics. She was the cinder demon and her specialty lied within the fires of hell. What good would fire do against her? The misty aura that surrounded her exploded and intercepted his devastating blast of energy, absorbing it and pulling towards her and also out of Yan’s range. There was no explosion as it was intended, just a soft crackle of flames circling around her.
“I think about you more than I eat and I think about you more than I sleep.” And just as she continued talking, she was trying to turn around to see him, only to see his blast of energy erupt. Instead of harming her, the energy was transmuted into the flames, but only partial this time, leaving Yan to have to fend for himself.
Her facial expression again changed, already pegging her as an unstable mess of a psychopath if it didn’t already. She was nearly love struck in her gaze at Chaos who just fed her an amazing meal of fire and brimstone. “Stop flirting with me and get to the juicy parts! I’m just dying to feel your love again.”
Before she could continue, she was caught by Dende’s energy, or at-least some of it and though it did impact her and make her stumble, the damage itself proved to be discompose. Even so she had her attention on him and her ever-changing expression transformed again. She stared daggers into the youth sharp enough to slice diamond. Her voice came out rugged, annoyed, and there was a deeper tone in her voice that did not match her tiny child body.
“Little boy,” she started while her body vanished at the sight of his lightning which coursed about 100 feet. As she vanished she took steps and became ever-so ghastly, even with her weakened body she still had just enough agility to escape both pulses of energy, and like a tiny horror child, she stepped between what looked like dimensions to avoid the arcs of burning electricity.
“You are still here?” She kept a decent distance from Dende, but her evil countenance stared him down. It was quite the odd sight. She had completely forgotten about the master that she approached before, even with him in her vision. Maybe a sudden move would jolt her memory, but the one that she wanted was the emperor himself.
