”You really don’t have to try so hard,” Yan replied in a flirt as he side stepped. When Chaos opened his arms wide, it took some control for Yan not to dive into them in a hug that would surely become a grapple, but he was already half a step in and it was difficult to reverse back. Instead he watched the show made before him. The lava sprayed outward once more, falling around him like sizzling rain. When it so much as touched the beaten Namekian soil, you could watch it sink in like a tide over sand, letting off more smoke. It was beautiful in its own way, but not as much so as Chaos face planting into the dirt, sinking into it in a much more violent way. No, Yan was not smart. He was sometimes clever, but he would never suggest he was smart. Those that considered him as such were blinded by his experience. He had touched the stove enough times to realize now it would burn him. With his lengthy life span, the amount of dangerous situations he had made his way through gave him the understanding of what would come next. Chaos taking the attack was an obvious move against Yan for instance. For one, the emperor had plenty of freedom to take damage while he had a Namekian on his side, but the weight of the attack pressed against him too hard. It was as if the poorly armored bastard wanted to take as much damage as possible. Yan’s experience told him it was a trap, but it was one he could not avoid, as that would have required him to not attack Chaos at all. So the ploy was, take as much damage as possible, with Chaos and his favor towards the magick arts--Yan already knew. Wrapped in the emperor’s normal chains, he maneuvered out of it, watching Chaos as he did. His smile didn’t waver, but his eyes grew slightly weary. If he had confidence, it was in his ability to take a hit. If he endured the same attack Chaos just did, he would have weathered through it with much less damage. But he could do nothing over such a transfer. He had to deal with the weakness of Chaos’ body. They were one for that instance, which was kind of endearing, but he would get excited about that later. ”You are a warrior,” Yan said in protest then, a childlike argument passing over his lips, as if he knew nothing he said would matter but wanted to throw a tantrum regardless. ”You can take a hit better than that!”Like he knew, it didn’t really matter at all, the spell was cast and Yan opened his palm out as if to catch a kiss, bringing his hand back to his lips right after. As soon as they touched pain poured through him. Like the nightmare prior, there was little he could do for it except to accept it with his whole being. It tore through his back side, again, not in a way he would have preferred, cutting through his superior armor and crushing into him without any true impact. It was odd in that. There was no force pushing him forward and yet he could feel his bones sinking in under the pressure of a non-existent explosion. His ribs creaked and cracked, and the monkey could hear blood curdling in ruptured organs. He tried to breathe in and yet his body protested further, blood moving up into his mouth to choke him. And then the pain spread from his nose across his face from the head plant, and Yan hurt himself further as he broke into laughter at it, spitting out blood as he did. For someone else it might have been overpowered by the rest of the pain, but Yan was well acquainted with such things, and in his mental acceptance of it, he made it so he could feel each thing as they happened. His face and body felt as if it impacted again to make that little crater, and he couldn’t help but laugh hysterically at what he had done to the man, or rather what he had allowed to be done to himself. ”Y’know, I’m pretty sure I just hurt myself more than you ever have,” Yan replied to him, keeping a sarcastic grin, not meaning it at all of course, but taunting nonetheless. Then the show moved on. No, he would not be deterred. It was his fucking turn and he would take it, and enjoy it, which he did. ”I love how well you remember me,” Yan said with another bit of hearty laughter. This was where Chaos always got him wrong. It was funny how little they knew of each other after so many meetings. They said you truly came to understand a man in battle, but Yan found that wasn’t true at all. In battle, you were too obsessed with your own view of it. You had to be. You had to be seriously aware of every move made by yourself and your opponent. You had to think like them, try to understand exactly how they would attack, but all that told someone was of their battle style. It said nothing of their personality, unless you looked for it. Every time Yan had faced Chaos, he didn’t expect to win. His confidence was not in winning, or even survival, it was in his ability to hurt people. Without fail, he had always been able to hurt someone, even when he didn’t want to. He already succeeded, you see, by landing that attack even if it was what the emperor wanted. He already succeeded in causing the frustration Chaos had shown, as well as in the anger that built up now in the Namekian boy. Chaos couldn’t see it, or understand it, because to him, victory was all important. He could not imagine someone who did not care about winning, even from the man who had attacked him back when he was three times weaker than Chaos’ strength, and never came to win at all. Power hadn’t changed Yan. He was still that person, running at Chaos with all his might for shits and giggles. He didn’t even know why Tomoko was on Namek, and after her fall, that truly didn’t matter. Now, he was just trying to cause harm. He was trying to have fun--and he was succeeding. There was nothing Chaos could do to cause him to fail, to shake his confidence. He didn’t understand that Yan was simply someone who liked to set a fire and see what happened. Defeating Chaos in battle meant nothing to him. Surviving this fight meant nothing to him. How strong he was in comparison meant nothing, and he was still mentally insulting Chaos for his loss last time they were on Namek, because Chaos was the great warrior, and Yan, well, Yan’s abilities were just as overwhelming as his intelligence. So he revived Tomoko. It wasn’t to have another ally though. It wasn’t to squeeze out a win. He wanted to see this chaotic little bitch play some more, and she never disappointed him there. Though she did give him a small moment to compose himself. It was the frozen android that made his move first. There was something about telekinetic powers that made the air crackle. It reminded the monkey again of his first fight with Chaos where he had shoved the emperor back through the woods with mind power alone. Did this robot have enough power to take him on? Yan’s sharp transformed eyes turned to focus on him, challenging once more, as if prepared to take whatever came at him, and then… ’Nah, I’m good,” he let out just as the pressure of the hands could almost be felt, and then once more he slipped from the dimension entirely, falling backwards into a hole to mimic Chaos’ earlier dodge. He didn’t appear somewhere safe and stable however, even if he might have wanted to, and instead popped up right behind the robot who had been Tomoko’s original target. ”You seem a little outclassed,” he said simply after the quickest of recoveries, though Quan might have been able to see the unease in his face when he first appeared before he shifted it back to his normal annoying and condescending one. His ki then rocketed him downward, away from the weakest link, and sending him zig zagging around the array of energy blasts until he spun in the air to land down rightside up. Chaos wanted him to zig he would zig. Still, his feet slid around on the charred ground once more, the force of himself almost too much for him in this state. His hand touched down in front of him to offer him new stability, and after, he fixed himself into another stance meant to provide him with quick movement if he needed to make it. Chaos healed himself and Yan’s teeth gritted a little as he brushed off the pain caused just from moving, but that wasn’t enough to stop him. Not yet, not now. Probably, anyway. Tomoko made her move, slow and steady, but he felt her intentions, felt her lust and affection, her need for the emperor that far surpassed his own. She wanted the first blast, and he let her have it, watching as Namek was saved however briefly by her aura alone. He tried to follow Chaos from there. He was running away from a blast that had been eaten, and Yan decided to plant his feet. This time the blast erupted before contact and the force moved to plow into him, and like Chaos, he dropped his arms and welcomed it. It washed over him blowing back his hair and clothes as the force and fire was absorbed and the black lightning bolt betrayed its owner, spawning children that danced around the monkey in new strength. He wanted to quip, to say something, but Tomoko had started her speech, and the monkey instead kept his gaze on the Namekian, who was doing what Namekians did best. When the boy dropped into a charge, reminding Yan of Perrin for his new warlike persona, he was ready, his stance letting him leap back as fire came flying towards him. His feet landed again, and he pushed hard off the ground to send himself shooting to the left as the ball crashed through where he was moments before, but then the boy spun. The next wave of fury caught him a tiny bit off guard, plowing into his weakened form and sending him hard into the ground. He was falling to pieces now. The burns Chaos endured haunted his flesh. The blasts the little Namekian did before then had reached him however halfheartedly, the gash on his back opened and bled despite his efforts to keep the wound closed through ki control, and the blasts Chaos had peppered him with earlier were successfully built upon. He was dangerously close to the edge, if he could guess at his own self, but his determination refused to let him falter there. He rolled from the blast, and fixed himself back into a crouched position. He still had a few tricks up his sleeve, and when Dende began to reek of electricity, Yan did too. His aura had changed into its trademark lightning shield, sending dangerous waves off him already, but now he put pressure upon it. He fed his aura more energy and concentrated it until his blue ki coated his claw like arms and electricity poured off him to rival the Namekian’s head on. ”Bad idea, kid,” he uttered then pulled his aura in, absorbing the electricity into himself as Dende’s came crashing upon him. His aura ate them up, burning heat and all, before it expanded once more and sent the fierce electricity from him in all directions back towards his opponents, most importantly to the Namekian who was completely absorbed in sending more electric bolts. Dende was able to release the next charge, at whatever it had cost him, and these too Yan absorbed as if he were a god of lightning taking in his lunch. He felt their vibrations like a gentle massage on his battered skin and he felt more at ease with them swirling a storm inside him, then standing with just his own strength. But these had to go too, and with a rough shove these too, were sent right back at his foes at dangerous speeds. He didn’t care what had happened to Tomoko, though her voice suddenly cut through the air like the jagged knife she was. It drove another laugh out of him, and he looked towards Dende, then gestured to Quan Lei for his attention. ”I don’t suppose you boys would be interested in finishing me off while we let those two have their date, would you?”Of course, that was assuming Chaos could take his eyes off Yan for a moment. She deserved it, didn’t she? Just look at that adorably psychotic face!

Focus Solitary positioning.
His opponents were in front of him at a lower altitude. Almost atop of the world, Quan Lei kept his eyes on his opponents. Mental notes were jotted down throughout their altercation. Great speed and enough speed kept the two afloat and away from the bombardment of attacks.
“So fast,” Quan uttered as his attacked missed its mark once more by the red head speedster. His power shifted back and away with a disappearance of his physical form, only to appear to the rear of the highly placed android. His words became an eerie slime, which creepily crawled into the audio receptors and through the shaft of his spine.
Luckily facial expressions could not be changed upon the metallic statuesque face of the robotic monk. “Sadly for you, your speed is the only thing that separates us.” A sly retort of his own words split from his mouth slit before the dodging puppet ran off. He was most proficient at such a skill.
Exchanges continued to happen as the battle roared on. Magics of all sorts molded the brain of the ignorant mechanical warrior monk, as he never knew the likes of such attacks, defenses and all out physical wizardry. He would have to gather more information on the modern universe and of the warriors of the current age.
Stationed above the battlefield, still, Quan scanned the power signatures of his newest allies and foes alike. It was intriguing on what was before him. His compared his own prowess and knew that he was in their league and at the same time not. He was unfamiliar with his own body and techniques in this new world. Things had to change quickly if he were to continue fighting random individuals so often.
His keen eyes focused onto the battlefield as a charge of energy filled his right palm. A small spark of light blue energy sparkled with flakes flowing into the large pebble sized sphere. Quan raised his left hand vertical with only his index finger extended. A focus of mental and physical wavelengths bonded as his target danced about. This time he planned to engulf both of his enemies, especially the talkative route runner.
Ki continued to pool until it ceased at the desired rate. Both arms opposed each other’s movement with an extending left arm and a retracting right arm. The exchange happened once more as a thin beam poured out from his right palm to only grow extensively as it traveled. His back-up had shown competent enough that he did not forewarn them of what was to come. The Android focused his sights on attempting to end the negative spiritual energy of his foes.
Another time of arm exchange occurred without charging and praying for his enemies, as the left hand powered forward for a second round of the same explosive attack. He knew it would cause catastrophic damage to the planet, so he had only hoped that the Namekian boy would forgive him since it was in the name of purity, self-defense and justice. The attacks let out, and Quan was calming his chi when a familiar voice popped into his head.
“Master Lei! I hope you don’t mind the help. I can’t lose you this time!”
The student, Lu Zhishen, spoke to his master from the ship that travelled in as he already had locked in targets on the opposing warriors. A circular button depressed into the control board and out launched powerful anti-personal warheads. They screamed from the ship and the uppermost atmosphere. As they plummeted towards their honed targets, the student smiled from the spacecraft with a sexy smirk.

Chaos studied the battlefield as energies warped and flung with wild abandon. All that speed, all that skill, all that casual chatter, and yet their opponents failed to take the offensive, though the defended valiantly. Worse than that, Yan bared the injuries of his own attack while Chaos was able to recover from it almost completely with little more than a snap of the fingers.
The Emperor calmly went into his preferred fighting stance. His eyes never left Yan Cass though it took great effort not to turn his attention towards putting Tomoko down a second time. He let out a steadying exhale of the hot air before whispering to the wind: “You talk too much.”
A swell of energy from the android they found themselves fighting alongside caught his attention and he sprung away, ki propelling him skyward just as an earth wrenching explosion sounded behind.
Chaos spiraled around in midair and squinted against the smoke and fire. His lips curled into a sinister grin knowing what the utter destruction would likely bring out of Dende. Unlike most Namekians who are specially trained warriors or healers, Dende was superb in both. This, among a plethora of other reasons, were why Chaos had asked for him by name during negotiations with Guru. His healing abilities were no secret to the enemy now, but they had best not underestimate his skill as a warrior, less they fall to his vampiric blade.
“Alright, Dende. Let’s hurry up and save your planet,” he said mostly to himself as his aura burst to life. The time to end this was quickly approaching, he could feel it coming to the unrelenting metronome of death’s drum.
A typhoon ripped the sky and buffeted the world below. The waves crashing into the crumbling island sprayed high enough to soothe some of the fires. His power level skyrocketed above all the others within the blink of an eye. The border between his body and his aura no longer existed, where he ended and it began blurred completely. He appeared as a massive wall of living ultraviolet fire with a pair of hateful eyes glaring at his enemies.
The swirling maelstrom of raw Ki spiraled in a triple helix from the floor to the sky, even breaking the atmosphere as it reached heavenward. As quickly as it came the surge of power was contained, the blinding black light of it suddenly shrunk to the familiar size of the Cosmic Emperor.
His left hand opened and a series of blasts erupted from his palm. They split with an audible pop and went evenly between his foes.
Just then he heard the whistle, felt the swish, saw the trail of atmosphere-to-surface warheads hauling ass towards the two. He cursed how close they had come to clipping him and concentrated a larger collection of Ki down his still extended arm.
Crimson lightning danced along the outstretched limb as a single point of darkness appeared before his hand. Black flames roiled along the surface of the expanding singularity.
Reality wailed against the gathering force, a sound like millions of steel sheets being torn at once assailed the world. As space buckled under the pressure he whispered an apology to Dende behind a toothy grin, knowing that the destruction would only fuel his Vaizard's desire to end the fight.
He vanished. The static-y sound of his own impressive speed shuttered the air, he appeared directly above Yan's energy signature, a blurred gargoyle looming over them.
Then, it was unleashed. The simple flickering sphere, no larger than a golf ball, fell to the world between Yan and Tomoko with the speed of a meteorite. If they didn’t find a way to stop this one it would detonate between them, turning each of them into a fine red mist.
He found this unlikely though and sent continued to send blast after blast into the smoky battlefield, keeping their ki signatures firmly locked with special attention to the speedier opponent. He fired two off.
“Come out,” he muttered as a pair veered between his enemies.
“Come on!” he said louder, two more blasts punctuating his commands.
“I want to watch you burn” he shouted as he sent in the final volley.
His eyes narrowed, glowing face beaming with excitement and madness. With their defenses weakening the need for an intricate strategy gradually fell to the wayside. Now, it was all about putting down a pair of stubborn dogs. He put on his best Michael Vick face and watched their ensuing efforts to avoid death's scythe.

This wasn’t the first time he had to expend so much ki over such a short period of time. During training he often became exhausted from expending too much energy. While he wasn’t very conservative with his ki he didn’t think he’d used so much that he’d feel quite so sick from it. The strange sensation of goosebumps rising up all over his skin and a sickening feeling in the pit of his stomach were vastly different than how he felt during an extensive training session.
A sudden shift in pressure from the scythe caused his eyes to narrow in contemplation. The scythe was the cause of the imbalance he felt in his body? A small surge of energy flowed into his body from the dark weapon. Did it siphon energy from one of his opponents? The foreign ki felt wrong as it attempted to integrate within his body. It was hard to decipher the sensation. The only word he could attribute to it was pollution. Something had tainted the ki but he had no way of knowing who the ki was taken from.
The fact that the scythe was able to transfer ki to its wielder was baffling enough. Wielding it in battle was probably unwise until he truly understood its capabilities and any risks it poses. The situation left him with little choice. The demonic girl said something but Dende was unable to focus on it. His attention was instead stolen by the main focus of his attacks. The red-haired man called Dende’s attacks a bad idea.
Dende quickly realized why. The electric discharge struck his opponent but it didn’t seem like it had much effect. Instead of causing damage the ki seemed to be absorbed. Every nerve in his body screamed in protest as the energy shot back out. It almost seemed that his opponent was able to rebound his attack! He frantically focused his energy. He was already in the middle of unleashing his second barrage of electrically charged ki when the first attack struck back.
Similar to how the red-head absorbed the attack the ki struck Dende but the thin aura that rose up in response fused with the ki. Rather than rebounding the ki it was repurposed. Waves of heat rose from the young Namekian. As it mixed with the air it ignited into a fiery inferno that wreathed the Dende in its protective embrace. Dende wanted to react to the second attack that was rebounded but when he began to move a sudden jolt shot through his body.
The foreign ki finally started to take root. It felt like his skin was alive and moved with a mind of its own. Dende desperately looked at his hands but saw nothing crawling there and the mixed sensory signals his body was giving off he failed to react in time. The second barrage of electrically charged ki slammed into his body unchecked. Every nerve in his body fired off and his muscles grew tense. He wanted to scream out in protest as his body was wracked in pain but his jaw was clenched shut. When the attack ceased electricity crackled through his body as the last few bolts arced off and dispersed harmlessly into the air. A horrifying scream managed to break free as he collapsed to his knees.
Dende’s hands dropped to his sides and his eyes were wide and unfocused. Deep within his mind an internal battle raged. The desire to unleash his wrath upon his enemies. It beat against the cage formed by Dende’s resolve. However, in his weakened state his mind now longer possessed its normal capacity. He’d also given into his anger no matter how briefly. A chill spread through his chest. Something spoke out to him and tempted his frayed mind with the allure of causing harm to the one who brought him pain.
Tears streamed down Dende’s cheeks as the reality of the damage done to his home and pain unlike anything he’d faced before warped his intent. He gave in and the small totem he possessed answered his call. Through the last tendril of energy it sought to make a connection with the red-head and unleash the entirety of Dende’s suffering upon the man. Dende’s hand twitched as his vision regained its focus. His body burned and for a brief moment he thought the aura of flames were a result of the attack he’d taken.
Panic threatened to kick in but he realized that he didn’t feel like he was truly on fire. In anguish his hand fished out a small bean from a pouch on his belt. It was eagerly placed against his tongue and Dende chewed it with fervor. The small bean held galactic renown for its restorative properties. Its effects were almost instant and it calmed Dende’s mind enough to allow him to take quick stock of his surroundings. He was startled to realize that the machine was about to unleash some large scale attacks once more.
Dende silently cried out for his planet. The heat from the flowing lava felt like torture against his sensitive skin. While the scope of this battle did not possess the magnitude to truly harm the planet it would forever scar its surface. With an angry growl Dende forced his body to obey and he got to his feet. He didn’t want to risk being caught in the machine’s assault so he focused all of his strength in his legs. With great effort Dende kicked off the ground and back at an angle. Now only did he want to leap over the reach of the explosion but he wanted to gain a little distance.
Dende would keep his distance for the time being. The machine prepped to unleash another massive explosion of energy. Dende wanted to scream out in protest but his attempt was cut short as a volley of projectiles swooped in towards the two opponents. Dende’s jaw opened but no words could be formed. The Cosmic Emperor’s voice snapped Dende’s attention back into focus. The Emperor suggested that they should save the planet but even greater attacks were unleashed and the young Namekian was forced to watch on in mounting horror.
All he could do in that moment was simply to stay out of the way. Dende had not fully recovered from the lingering effects of taking his own attacks and the impact of the foreign ki. The foreign ki continued to work havoc in his body albeit on a small scale. It was fortunate the scythe only consumed a small portion of that polluted ki. The scene that played out before his eyes was like something born from his nightmares. The planet bled fountains of lava that covered the vast majority of the island the battle took place on.
The countless energies that conflicted with each other caused a pseudo-maelstrom to form. The very forces of nature seemed to react to the fierce battle. The heat from the lava turned the surging water to disperse into vapor. Entire portions of lava was cooled by the invading water. It took on unsightly shapes that were most suitable for such a nightmarish scene.

Ref Report
Ok, lots of stuff going on... death... rebirth... BIG BOOMS.... MORE BIG BOOMS and high stakes emotion! I like the progression of everybody here in terms of their writing, everything was stepped up in a big way compared to the previous rounds. But I have to say I am very partial to how Dende has written. I can almost feel the pain the little Namekian is feeling at the wholesale destruction his planet is experiencing at the hands of each combatant. I'm digging it man, while everybody has done a fantastic job this round the RP award goes to Dende.

She could not help but giggle at the display between the three that oppose her and Red. The robot master overflowed with deadly energy once again, ready to destroy everything more and more than it was already destroyed. It was only at this exact moment that Tomoko knew that her physical body was not going to keep up with this abuse despite her desperate need for such pains to fuel her pleasure. Even so, this bitch was not one to whimper nor growl.
She bit back in the face of the impossible. She was simple in her movements, only pointing her arms upward. Energy pooled in-between her touching palms and she fired seven bombs of devastating densities that crashed into his ball of destruction to do something that the Namekian wanted the entire time; she was saving the planet from further destruction. It wasn’t to comply with his plea that she did such a thing. Even as the first bomb was destroyed, she continued to fire more massive blasts as he geared up for a second one, completely destroying his attempts of completely annihilating this speck of the planet.
Afterwards, the sky lit up with the firing of missiles that came raining down on them. Tomoko’s giggle stopped and she looked up to see them all raining down on them. To her this was beautiful. The child like demon was almost in awe as the missiles crashed into her and Red, and she didn’t even know if the mischievous monkey was awake anymore, after all he hadn’t moved yet since he absorbed that lightning from the Namekian.
Chaos failed to look down on her dirtied and damaged body, her coughing and shivering at the pain she was experiencing and he said what was on his mind.
“You don’t talk enough,” she snapped back as if she caught his words from the winds whisper. She was decent at reading lips, she wasn’t all that stupid. Was she annoying to him? Good.
His presence began to change, becoming that of a fire that stared at them with a hate filled gaze. At that, Tomoko fell down onto her own bottom and a plop was heard spreading dust about the place. She sighed a bit as if she was relieved.
“Learned a few new things today, Red.” She was obviously talking to an unconscious body from the looks of it, but she gathered energy anyway; the last of it that is. Shit. Her body caught the small blasts of energy that Chaos sent their way and this knocked her onto her back with her body revert into that of an adult woman. Her armor had long since been ripped to shreds. She was down to the convenient cloths that covered her chest and parts of her lower region. Looking up she saw what looked like a beautiful star. Lighting swirled and danced, and dark flames sprouted all around that star.
“Oh that looks bad,” she said while she held both hands out, her fingers spread out. One basketball sized ball of energy popped into existence just above her head, which covered her face. “Ha, I beat my record didn’t I? I survived more than 2 hits. You are in some fucking trouble, Emperor.”
She fired her shooting star at his meteorite to destroy it before it could destroy them. Rocking the entire world of Namek but not dealing any damage. That was the curse of power between these five warriors. Planets were never safe when they fought. Did Dende know? Did he even know that the planet wasn’t even safe from himself? After the blasts collided, spreading smoke about, the emperor wasn’t confident in his power to destroy them and there were more blasts of energy that smashed into her, but even as they did, her stubborn body rose up, enduring the pain only so she can look over toward the young Namekian with a grin. She couldn’t enter his mind, and she could tell that from how blocked his thoughts were, but if he were close to her he could hear what she said last.
“We are all too powerful kid, especially for a planet's health. You don’t even realize that you are a danger to your own planet. It probably cried when you shocked it with lightning. Just a little. But good job, that's a pure reaction out of you. You'll learn. Ain't nothing wrong with that, you ain't half bad."

I was asked to check on the Status of Tomo before his blast cancels, due to him taking those three attacks in an already damaged and weakened state Tomo took enough damage to be -2% on the dmg meter effectively KOing him for a second time. Yan at this point since I was asked to calc dmg taken his bane dmg to the face and is KO, proceed with your LD.

Empathy. Yan wasn’t good with empathy, nor did he want to be. He could relate to emotional pain more than most, his own carrying him farther than anyone else, but it was also because of that that he shut himself off from the rest of the world. Sometimes, people slipped in, like Hayami, who he saw so much of himself in, and could not help but step in to be what he had never had. He regretted that though. He always regretted empathy. It never did him any good. He didn’t want to reflect on someone else’s pain. They should suffer in it like he did and push through it too. So Dende’s reflection was not welcome in any sense of the word. The physical pain and damage quickly erased his active consciousness, leaving him in a black pool of the boy’s anguish. It wasn’t angry enough for Yan. The momentary rage the boy possessed was easily quieted by a painful sadness. He didn’t know what to do, or who to be angry with. Yan would have been angry with himself, and his powerlessness, but Dende had accepted his weakness. He knew he could not stand in front of Chaos or stop him in any way. He had enough self care as to not blame himself. But Chaos was causing this damage to his beloved world too. It wasn’t just Yan and Tomoko--no, more than both of them Chaos and Quan Lei were the more guilty criminals. Even when Yan was barely standing, requiring just one more good hit to be taken out, Chaos chose to destroy Namek more. Quan didn’t care about anything or anyone except his meager justice, and he ripped into the earth with that carelessness. Chaos knew though. He knew Dende’s feelings, and he didn’t care. He wanted to watch them burn, and with it Namek. So, how could Dende be truly mad at Tomoko and Yan without being mad at his ally in the Cosmic Emperor? He couldn’t. Not really, so he fell to his helplessness. He fell into acceptance that Namek was doomed, and he felt sadness and pain. All that Namek endured was carved on his heart, and yet he did nothing to defend it. He did nothing to save it. He stood back, and took part in the destruction of his world, because he didn’t know what else to do. Yan had been in many situations like that before. He had had to do harmful things that hurt him and the people he cared for to meet an end. He knew this feeling, but when it struck him, he shoved it down into the darkness of his soul and refused to feel it. He refused to be swept up by emotions in battle, and he couldn’t let Dende’s feelings change that. His eyes opened. All his pain was buried, all his damage was ignored, and he rose to his feet. He could feel his life slipping away, and he didn’t care. He merely dug into his reserves of energy and stabilized himself for the time being. Tomoko had fallen. She had attempted to stop the destruction and failed, and now the ocean had been pushed back and the damage of Chaos’ epic transformed power reached the opposite coasts. It’s total cosmic level of destruction likely killed Namekians, Dende’s people, but it didn’t matter. Yan’s eyes shifted over the broken ground, over the lost fight, and he smiled. His aura changed again, from a speck of nothing into actual nothing to those who could not sense celestial ki. For those, he was surely dead and defeated in the black smoke, a flame finally put out. The air already felt heavy and pressurized from the burning air particles. The heat made the air blur together and all the force of the universe seemed pressed into this one place, this one moment. The same electricity that had stopped him began to spark around him once more. Just baby sparks, small dancing lightning bolts that matched the changed color of his eyes. He looked down to his damaged hands, tore apart in filthy burns and open bone. This was it then. He was going to go out with a bang, Dende be damned, and they were going to suffer, as that was the only thing he remained confident in. So he vanished. The smoke puffed like another miniature explosion happened beneath it, and then the blue speedster appeared behind Chaos, his broken hand releasing a wave of ki at point blank range meant to entangle the emperor in his own glory. ”You? Save something?” he asked with a wide grin before once more fierce energy exploded upon the emperor’s chest. Would he take it again? Or would he run at the faintest of tingles from energy brewing so close to him? The monkey didn’t care. Any energy spent on him was victory, even if it wasn’t from Chaos himself. Would the emperor’s friends dive to his rescue? Yan wanted to know. He already believed the emperor chose better allies then himself, but he wanted to see if they were truly worth while. Would they be worthy of Chaos’ time when a drink with Yan was likely far more entertaining? Regardless of friendship however, Yan fixated on the emperor, letting what was left of his own aura sink into the man’s bones with the electric shock that was meant for Dende. Chaos wouldn’t be able to flee from this one, as it was already attached to his very soul. Surprisingly, he still had one, and Yan used it in his own display of magic, though it was far more crude than Chaos’ well thought out craft. Yan just wanted to pin him for a moment, let him feel the same charge that knocked him dead, even if the pain was less prominent compared to emotion. What emotion? Love, or at least the twisted kind Yan could give him. As much as they fought, as much as they toiled, as petty as they were against each other, and as much as Chaos likely hated him now, the man had earned Yan’s fondness, which honestly meant terrible things. Terrible, terrible, things. As if to prove that, the monkey vanished in another blue after image, reappearing in the emperor’s face, nose to nose, but that wasn’t what mattered. It was rare that the extra closeness Yan tried to invoke mattered, instead it was the energy he tried to harness under the radar, but no one really cared about above. In this case, Yan’s senseless blue ki had over taken his entire arm. His broken hand had managed to shift into its claw and the bright fiery blue covered it like armor down to his shoulder. When the monkey struck, he aimed to dig his fist into the emperor in a kiss like the one Chaos had tried to offer Yan so long ago, but the monkey always had to do one better. Even if Chaos escaped, that armor swam down his arm and broke free in the shape of a chinese dragon with all its length and vicious claws. It tried to eat the emperor, and if he fled the dragon would do a loop skyward before zooming back down, maul open and claws extended, giving chase wherever he might have gone. No where was safe, that was the depth of Yan’s love, though the monkey imagined him teleporting away like that was all that was ever needed, like the dragon did not give chase and such a short distance mattered. Let him flee the entire battle to escape, or just let mechanics save him. His fist opened once more, five claw like appendages stretching out in fervor. A small black bead of energy grew within his paln, and he took off in a rush of ki towards his next target. Chaos had felt his love, reveled in it involuntarily, and likely laughed at Yan’s efforts. He wasn’t the only one on this battle field who touched Yan however. The android Tomoko had originally targeted had been useless. He hadn’t meant that he outclassed the android. Quite the contrary. Yan was amazed by everyone else on the battlefield...except Quan Lei. The android was underwhelming and his presence on the there was almost non-existent. Even as he tried to spray powerful attacks he seemed like an extra that was easily forgotten. Whereas Dende and Chaos pooled together in awkward team work, the android was alone, delivering his blows like an afterthought. But the Namekian, he had reached Yan, even if it was only through magical totems. They had shared a link however briefly and Yan had been one in all his pain. He knew it so deeply, and knew how more damage to Namek would scar him. He knew Dende’s reasonings, his logic, his feelings, so deeply it was impossible to ignore and yet, the lesson Yan had been forced to learn over and over again had not been carved into the boy. If Yan had to be the first scar, he would be. Thus, he found himself directly in front of Dende. ”Fuck Namek,” he said simply, then his fist clenched down on that black bead and it erupted around them both, the largest explosion yet, shaking the battle field and chasing Chaos’ early attack into the main continent where villages Yan once protected from Chaos himself, could now fall victim. He let it engulf him as well in the best kamikaze attack he could still muster. But, hey, maybe Chaos would save Namek. Maybe he could stop this attack. Maybe he could finally do something good for Dende. Yan would make him work for it, make him come to the boy, force his hand. Do it, or let Namek suffer more. In a way, it was a gift to Chaos. He could use Yan’s final attack to solidify that he was right in going all out at the cost of Namekian lives, because Yan was that dangerous. He could stand holier than thou and say, this man had created the most harm. Yan welcomed it. He welcomed being the villain, and he yearned to see how well Chaos would mold his healer warrior. How much could he harden the soft hearted boy? How much could he taint and manipulate him? How far could he push Dende in the name of Namek and power to protect her? Yan would see, eventually, he was sure, but his determination knew no bounds, and he wanted Chaos to have a challenge still. Regardless of the attack, the force at which it spread them apart, Yan would find Dende once more, wherever he ended up, and lean in once more, making sure his face was close to the boy’s, and that their eyes would have nowhere to look but the into the other’s. ”That’s what he’s thinking, in the wake of his goals,” he said, and without another attack he separated from the boy once more, rocketing backwards, Namekian relic in his hand. The last of his ki fed into it, as he fell towards the ground, and once more, Tomoko’s lifeless body inflated and healed just enough to rise once more. He was done, happily finished, ready for his sleep, but they could suffer a little while longer. They could endure for a little while longer. Harm was the name of the game, and he would make them look back on this with frustration. No one could keep the Bitch of War down for long. Chaos should have known that well. She was a cockroach who kept coming back no matter what you did.

Flawed Stillness.
At last both of his foes were still. Lifeless in every manner as the youthful Namekian and armored sith looked upon the damaged bodies of their opponents alongside the badly cracked and battered planet that once gave great beauty during a peaceful meditation session.
Victory at hand was short-lived as a gut-wrenching pain overcame the Android. An eighth of a mile into the air, Quan crouched to a single knee as his chest felt heavily compressed. The negative energy of his opponent settled down only to come alive like a parasite and wreak havoc on the robotic monk’s pure energy.
It was a regret in hindsight. The master allowed the infectious chi entered his system’s highways, and now it attempted to take over more than it previously had. The illumination of his light blue eyes flicked between black and red. An internal voice spoke out obscenities that were unforgiveable.
Wind brushed softly against the slowly descending inorganic. Light from the never resting star shined brightly over the battlefield as the red-haired stowaway shot back to life with vigor and aggression. His target was none other than the dark-haired swordsman.
One attack after another, after another sing out its devious and desperate last attempt to steal victory. It amazed the monk despite being in his current state of pain, how this mysteriously monstrous determination fueled the resistance to death. It was a sight of demonic creatures lustfully hungry for battle.
The Android in his purest of heart, body and soul opened his posture to rebuke the energy which grasped at his tender chi of lawfulness. Composure swept his being, awakening his previous life’s enlightened energy whilst dragon essence was felt for the second time, he had been upon Planet Namek.
Quan pulled himself together and moved so fast to the point his body image was left behind in a blur. As silent as a thief in the night, the lack of organic chi signature masked his presence behind the taunting one. Snake fists ready, Quan Lei’s martial arts mastery went to work with properly located strikes in the attempt to block the chi of the talkative stationary speedster and cancel his potential attack. “Outclassed can be mistaken for patience.”
Quan noticed a portal and was quick on the scenario as the female used one earlier to retrieve an energy weapon. A beeping noise sprung to life as a trickle of life wanted to invade the female’s body once more. No! This exhausting nightmare could not repeat itself.
Both arms and palms snapped to full extension with concentration of the energy, which reached out onto the floored female. An opening between space and time bore a hole controlled by the mystic machine as he tried to retrieve the healing energies from the woman and onto himself. The evil that she held inside of her frame needed to be fully snuffed out once and for all.
Lowering his upper body appendages, Quan’s body gathered strength from an inhale of warm waving energy produced through his body, as it dispersed the cold, evil energy that gripped him only moments ago.

The constant pressure on the battlefield seemed to ease up when it seemed that both of their opponents had finally been subdued. For the first time since this began Dende felt like he could breathe. A sliver of hope began to form within his heart but that sliver caused a massive pull to form in his gut. Guilt threatened to overwhelm him. Hope? His gaze settled across the ruined island.
Dende began to walk towards Chaos. The man held true to his word and protected Namek but it came at a heavy cost. The only silver lining was that the battle took place on a remote island. The hope he’d felt before quickly turned to ice as the red-haired one started to stand. It reminded him of a scene that played out in countless horror films he’d seen back on Earth. Just when you think the foe is defeated they spring back up when you least expect it.
Dende let out a silent curse. Energy surged through his aching body but he pushed passed the pain and rushed to stand before the Cosmic Emperor. “This has to end,” he pleaded. Dende reached out with his free hand as if to place it against the Emperor’s chest. Once more Dende evoked restorative energy to course through the man’s body. While he didn’t appear seriously hurt it was better to be safe. The power the red-headed man put off wasn’t something Dende could deal with alone.
He did not possess sufficient strength to defend this world alone. There would undoubtedly be more battles waged for either the sake of this world or the mystical orbs hidden amongst his people. The Emperor was needed. Was this the price needed to ensure the safety of the whole? His heart ached at the destruction that had been wrought but he tried to harden his resolve to see this through. Both here and in future conflicts. The opponent’s power appeared behind the Emperor without warning.
Dende’s eyes shot wide as he inhaled to warn the Emperor. Even if such a warning was unnecessary Dende acted without thinking. He was consciously aware of a sudden surge of energy telltale of an impending attack. Ki began to ignite along the Emperor’s chest, right where Dende’s hand was placed. Ki permeated his lungs as it fused with the air imprisoned within. In a mighty bellow Dende released the ki fueled air and shouted, “LOOK OUT!”
The shout was intended as both a warning and an attempt to disperse the ki that threatened to engulf the Cosmic Emperor’s chest. Dende was slow to react to the initial attack but his preparations would hopefully arrive in time for the second. One thought defeated all others within the young Namekian’s mind. The Emperor was essential to defeat this opponent. Dende had no way of knowing this was a final effort from the red-headed man.
Dende quickly stepped forward. Ki seeped into his muscles and spurred them well beyond their natural limits. A shimmering image was left in his wake as his hand shifted to Chaos’ shoulder. With as much force as he could muster Dende tried to shove the Emperor aside. As he attempted to shove the Emperor, Dende stepped forward with his left leg so his side would be angled towards his opponent.
When he caught sight of a brief image of the man Dende began to panic. The power that emanated from the man was still close. In desperation Dende shifted his head to the right. His hand moved instinctively. It would be impossible to prevent an attack from striking in such close proximity. However, there was a method of disrupting the flow of an opponent’s ki.
Dende’s hand was thrust through the air like a blade. Energy flowed through his arms and was concentrated at the edges of his fingers. Dende sought to strike near his opponent’s shoulder. A portion of his ki would be injected into the man’s body. Some people called the spots pressure points while others called them meridians. Either way it was a point where energy flowed through and by disrupting that flow Dende hoped he would be able to end the attack before it began.
If he failed, he only hoped he would be able to shield the Emperor from it. In doing so his desire was to provide an opportunity for Chaos to put an end to this once and for all.

Chaos watched with some mild amusement as Yan pulled himself up from the dirt. He stood still, amusement turning into full blown laughter, as his Vaizard’s healing energy surged through him again.
Despite rising from unconsciousness Yan possessed impressive speed, his Ki appeared behind the Emperor faster than he could hope to turn and react too. He didn’t need too. With a single, reactionary thought, the moment the oppressive power touched him it buckled beneath his overwhelming will. Even Yan’s own power now submitted to Chaos, easily repurposed into a roaring inferno of black fire that shielded his entire body.
He cast a smug glance over his shoulder as Dende’s shout of warning nullified Yan’s favorite attack an instant later. The expected explosion was instead an impotent pft that never reached him.
“!”
Chaos’ head snapped around as he felt the familiar energy shift again, senses picking up the movement much faster than his eyes ever could. The was a blur of green and a flash of golden light but at this distance he was able to make out the movements as Dende, spurred by the devastation of his beloved home world, speared the reality defying attack Yan attempted.
Again, Yan’s efforts amounted to little more than a breeze that barely disturbed his waist length hair.
His eyes followed Yan as he made no real effort to move fast for once. Instead he took the time to exchange words with Dende, all the while he was gathering his energy for something impressive. Out of the corner of his vision, just behind the endlessly overconfident Yan, there was movement. And just as Yan threatened to unleash his most destructive explosion it was all for naught as in his hubris he failed to take the android seriously.
Dust and glowing red embers blew around them all, reflected in his dark eyes.
With what was sure to be the last of his abilities, Yan stole a relic from Dende, tried to spur it to revive Tomoko yet again. But this, like the rest of his attempts, fell short. That healing energy never found its mark, instead it was siphoned up by the disrespected android. Just another example of Yan’s failure to plan.
And through it all the Cosmic Emperor hadn’t moved an inch other than to brush some dust from his armor. Finally, Yan slumped over again, dropping to the ground like a stringless puppet.
Chaos stepped forward, pausing abreast to Dende and placing a hand on his shoulder.
“Do you see now, Dende? This is what lurks in this galaxy, these reckless fools would have leveled this entire planet. I’ve seen them destroy the Library on Kelioux, I was there when one of them nearly erased its moon. Namek needs protection, my Cosmic Vaizard. Today, you protected Namek. Good work,” he finished with a reassuring squeeze.
The black aura that was indistinguishable from his body vanished like a candle being snuffed with his next step. He strolled to the unmoving body of Yan Cass first while the last of his transformation melded away, leaving the pale skinned, crimson eyed Emperor looming over his prey.
Face twisted with a sneering arrogance he extended his left hand and Yan’s body jerked up in response, suspended in the air by telekinetic strings. For a long moment he simply stare at the man hanging there, mulled over years of memories he had with the troublesome chimp.
“I used to think you were pretty smart,” he muttered. He closed his pinky as he spoke.
Cr-krack!!
Yan’s left leg bent backwards slowly until the shin touched the front of his thigh.
“Guess not. You even forgot the robot,” he continued, ring finger closing next.
Ssnap!
The other leg twisted and bent unnaturally until the femur exploded through the skin and cloth. It dangled with just a tiny strip of skin keeping it attached.
“I just hope…” his middle finger followed the others.
Krunchh!!
A fountain of dark red erupted from Yan’s left elbow as it snapped backwards.
“I hope you remember every second of this. How it felt to try so hard--” His index finger curled closed.
Sck-wirk!
The wet sound of bone splintering through flesh echoed out, the other arm folding gruesomely.
“--and fail anyway.”
Yan hovered over the tattered battlefield, limbs bent and crushed as if he were nothing more than a discarded ball of paper. A bloody, fleshy ball of trash, suspended in place with just his head still intact.
Before he curled his thumb and ended Yan’s existence he spotted the blood soaked gloves dangling lamely from his ruined arms. He smirked and stepped forward and the gloves easily slid off the bloody appendages. He looked them over curiously and chuckled. ‘These reality breaking pieces of shit…’ he mused with a chuckle recalling how they single handedly made his life hell numerous times.
He turned away from the man who had once been something of a friend to him. Before finishing off Tomoko he paused and muttered over his shoulder.
“Oh, and pick your allies better.”
On that final word his thumb completed the fist and he squeezed it tightly. The telekinetic vice tightened across Yan’s body and skull until his entire body exploded into an unrecognizable mush of blood and flesh and brain matter.
As he walked a piece of Yan’s cheek fell from the sky and landed on his shoulder and he absentmindedly brushed it aside, transfixed on the prone body of Tomoko. His expression was unreadable as he came to a stop a few feet before the unconscious enemy.
Without thinking his left hand shot out and Tomoko’s body was yanked up like Yan had been. He wasn't going to waste any words on this one. His blank expression soured as he stared at the troublesome foe and recounted her crimes against the Empire. How best to end her? Immolation? Disembowelment? No, those were too traditional, too simple, too quick.
His eyes widened with an ah-ha! Moment of realization.
Keeping her in place with his left hand he flattened his palm and her body jerked parallel with the ground. His right hand came up and his thumb and index finger seemed to pinch something invisible from the air. Then, he pulled on that unseen thread.
Tomoko’s floating body thrashed and convulsed, grotesque gurgling noises bubbling from her throat. Her limbs spasmed and her feet, barely able to touch the ground, pounded out a staccato rhythm. Pink foam frothed from behind her lips, his right hand pulling mercilessly on something deep inside her.
Her mouth opened wide as if to scream but no sound came out. She jerked. Her jaw broke apart to allow the surge of intestines room and he began to pull faster. Something bulbous like a fleshy balloon popped out along the string of her guts and she let out an inhumane sound.
Bloody tissue poured out of her ruined maw, stretching like a great pink rope to drip bile and blood onto the Namekian soil. It twisted like a wet cloth being wrung out splattering both of them with her warm blood.
He continued to mercilessly remove her organs through her mouth until twenty feet of intestine and a lung were left lying on the ground. The torture lasted minutes but surely felt like an eternity. He licked his lips as he drew out each agonizing moment.
Finally, merficully, her life force faded to nothing and he no longer found pleasure in the mutilation. With a sigh he released his telekinetic hold on her body and it hit the floor with a wet thud.
Chaos walked up to the reverse-disemboweled corpse of one of his Empire’s most persistent enemies. He surveyed the body for a moment before bending down and retrieving a device from her emptied carcass. He brought the thing to his eyes and blew the dirt and blood off of it. Sure enough, his initials (BDC) were still on it. He smiled, full of pride and satisfaction. He gave the body on the ground a final glance, deciding to leave it where it lay.
He turned and went back to Dende.
“The planet needs to heal. They will make fine fertilizer.”
With a friendly smile, face splattered with blood, he beckoned for Dende to follow him. As he went he shot a look at the android he knew from DeKalb.
“You too. Come on,” he said simply before taking to the sky in a blaze of black and indigo fire.

Quan, Dende and Chaos win while Yan and Tomo lose.
Chaos kills Yan and steals his thieves gloves, Tomo uses cyber augs to rez for a third time to avoid death but minus the KAD item.
That’s all this time folks *turns off the monitor*
