Those are not the final comments, but Digu, if you have an opinion to why you think Time Freeze should allow you to move your opponent in front of ally’s fire I would love to hear it. I was waiting to see if anyone else agreed with Bebi before closing this. If it’s just a simple, it should that’s cool too. Probably going to modchat soon anyway.

My stance as to whether you should be able to move people in time freeze. I would say yes to move your buddies out the way of attacks, and it should have to spend an action just to spend something for guaranteed safety, plus that's what it's like for IT.
I'd say in terms of causing friendly fire it would be best to limit it to technique with an indiscriminate AOE quality like Ion Blast/Rapid Ion Blast. In the case of an attempt to negate a successful dodge the least messy route would be to disallow it, blasts would likely already explode against something after they missed and a beam would be well on its way to orbit. I don't see an issue with using time Freeze to move someone closer to an allies attack to make it harder to dodge though.
Time Freeze cannot create a defense or create an attack. It can only augment a defense or augment an attack.
What I mean by this... if you move an enemy in front of their ally's attack, you've made an attack for them and you've removed an attack on yourself. In my mind it's obvious that isn't allowed but if it needs to be said, there we go.
Only thing I'll disagree on is the last bit. You're spending a fuckton of Ki, you get 3 actions, you should be able to use them. If you want to dedicate an entire post to using time freeze and charging your laser.. that's your business. As a finisher it is designed to finish battles. Should be allowed to do so.
My opinion is very similar here. I usually dont like just doing +1 posts, but Revan hits it spot on for me.
So, I had it in my head that this could be balanced with moving people in front of attacks but after talking to a few people I came to realize...I lied, it’s super OP. lol
Consider this scenario:
Person A A1. Charge (2%) A2-3. Galactic Machine Gun [DR10] (25%)
Now Person B A1. Time Freeze (25%) A2. Dodge Galactic Machine Gun (This dodge is the equivalent to an IT dodge that would cost you 10% ki, one time use, and two actions to deal with this GMG.) A3. Move Person C in front of Galactic Machine Gun (The person is now essentially getting to shoot a charged attack for one action. You are really only spending 15% considering the freebie dodge, and now the technique is considered at almost teleport level needed to dodge which costs a token and another 10% ki) A4. Move Person D out of the way (Another IT level dodge on a 3 action attack when you cannot even IT assist your peoples on Multi-Targets under current rulings.)
Again, these actions are not free. Using Time Freeze means you’ve frozen time. You are spending up to four actions to deal with ONE attack which often isn’t a luxury you get. But you can get it, ESPECIALLY when your opponent tries to hit you with dem three+ action finishers. In that case, the idea that you just can’t heavy hit someone with Time Freeze is saying if the person has Time Freeze, all your finishers are locked, while they still have at least one, two if they donate. Which is also pretty unbalanced tbh. It shouldn’t be haha I have this finisher so now no one off my time can fire finishers! If you think that’s balanced uh...I don’t know what to tell you there bro.
With Digu’s option its like cool, I get another action to deal with this attack, but now I’m expected to burn my one IT (and two actions) or risk a super challenging dodge. One action doesn’t cover that, or ALL the perks of this technique in it’s current form. It’s way too much.
I sat trying to make it work, considering extra action dodges, raising ki, costing additional ki to place the enemy, changing it to one use, saying you can move people but not in front of finishers, and all sorts of shit but to balance it with that requires so much shit the tech becomes an IT level admin rulings list. Which I don’t think any other one tech deserves. The best solution is to make it so you cannot move people in front of an ally’s attack and buff it elsewhere.
I TRIED GUYS. I TRIED. I LIKED THE IDEA OF IT, BUT MY CUSTOM MOD SWITCHED AND SAID NO WAY IN HELL.
