"Far too many people don't use information," Hayami nodded in response to his last sentence. If Hayami had not grown in knowledge, there was no way that she would be where she was. Not even close to where she was. The Celestial turned her face to Yan as she thought about what to do.
"What are your thoughts? I know that you have your method. Perhaps it would be better to visit both. Say, visit the stronger members in Empire City, and they'll send word back. Only for me to appear there afterwards." She then placed a finger up and waggled it at Yan, "And this will be my own maniuplations and taking the family over. I can't have you dig into their politics at the start." She knew that if Yan got interested, it would be hard for him to keep his hands away from such toys.
"Speaking of Damaskia, just a short side track. would Pendragon try to get his hands on a kitsune demon? If he knew the connection. Well, I'm sure he knows that there's a connection." It wouldn't be hard to see the fox that she was and then see a kitsune suddenly prove her strength to take them over, and rule from afar.

“Empire City would probably be more fun than Kitsune Farms,” Yan said only half teasing. Like he said, city life was far more appealing than the outskirts of hell. There were definitely cultivated areas like her clan probably resided but they were often claimed territory by territorial folks who did not like outsiders. He’s weaseled his way into some, gotten ran out of other, but the city was always welcoming.
He shook his head at her question of Pendragon before pausing and shifting his chin up as if taking the denial back. “Well. I think he would be, but when it comes to hell, he’s far more interested in Lucifer. He doesn’t want to stick his neck too far into hell while he’s still dealing with existing threats to the Damaskian empire. Things will begin to shift in time, but for now, while they’re in hell they’re not on his radar. If you take them out...” he trailed off there, leaving room for many suggestions. It depended on a lot of different factors surely.

"I didn't plan to drag them out right away," she stated as she waved her hands and brought their usual drinks into existance. She sipped a quick cup before she placed her hand out and snagged a new book and placed it down. She flipped to her page she wanted and placed her finger there like with a phone and magnified the paragraph she wanted.
"Then I suppose the plan would be to start in Empire City. How long do you personally think talks will take?" It was clear Hayami had planned this for some time, but had lacked a lot of knowledge. With that knowledge gap starting to close, many of her plans were honed in on. "Of course, I could probably also do this as a Damaskian representative. But that might get me more noticed than I want." That part was cut out of the plan.

“Arranging talks, finding your people if they’re there, won’t take too long. Lots of Hunters in Empire City happy to make a quick buck finding someone for you,” he offered. “But the actual talks would depend on you and your people. I don’t know what they’re like except negative to your position. What are they like?”

"I don't know a whole lot myself. They have a patriarchal society, but a matriarchal god system. In a way, they saw their old goddess as their mother figure. So you can imagine some teenage-looking girl busting in and having their old goddess's...feeling... I suppose that's part of the hostility." She looked for another book and brought it over.
"They are also fairly wild in nature. Some of them are anthropomorphized foxes, while others are human-like, but with fox ears ad tails. They follow a caste system. They are fine with 'mortal-like' demons, but they detest most of the other kinds." It was, to her, mostly surface level. "That's really all I could get while in Heaven. Since I haven't visited Hell in years." It might help with Yan, though.

“Mortal-like?” he asked with a tilt of his head, not quite following. Digesting the rest he took to his drink.
“Then there’s really no telling. Once we make contact they could immediately dismiss you and you’d have to continually make efforts just to get your foot in the door of conversation. Or they might be extremely hostile from the getgo, which might be better.”

"Oh, I guess human-like," she corrected herself. "In appearance. I guess they don't use their senses as well as Daji uses his." Since her mate used his senses way more than any of the others, she guessed that only really those at the compound used them more.
"Well, shouting matches with you may have taught me more than I'd like to admit." She sipped on her tea again and then looked over at his face as she stated, "If I have to, I'll use my psychic powers, but not to force them into anything. I guess more my telekinesis to put my foot in the door." In other words, dangerous negotiations. "I'll make them acknowledge me."

“Ah, yeah,” he said in agreement about the more humanoid demons. “They say it was their design before mortals you know~ I try not to judge the monster-y looking ones but they are of a lower race and stereotypically that reflects on their intelligence. Not always though. Guess it’s kind of like aliens.” He had met some strange creatures in hell, but he’s met some strange life forms in this living universe to.
He grinned at he next words, appreciating them as well as the drive. “If their culture is interwoven with demon culture, shows of power are always the way to go. Empathy and kindness is weakness, but those who can wield both and stay in power are usually far more formidable.” That was why Yan quite liked good people that were actually good.
