Pagoma sank his Axe into Syric and felt as a small portion of the Celestial's energy ran up through the axe and into his own body. It was just what Pagoma needed to keep from regressing to his base form. "Thief!" Syric yelled, jealously. Pagoma knew that Syric's blades had similar inscriptions as his axe, but for whatever reason the Celestial's energy stealing weapon wasn't proving very effective. Syric mischievously stabbed his blade into Pagoma's torso, before slashing Pagoma on the side of his chest plate, which was growing more useless with each swipe of Syric's blades. Syric tried to then stab Pagoma underneath his armpit to try and find some vital organs to damage. Pagoma swiped his own hand towards Syric's blade. Although he hadn't stopped it from entering his body entirely, the Celestial would have undoubtedly preferred it to be more effective. Syric made a quick comment about Pagoma being a durable cutting board before carving up his face and shoulder a bit more. Pagoma knew if he somehow survived the battle with Syric, his previously unblemished face would never be the same. That said, all the good warriors he knew had their battle scars. "I'm ready when you are," Syric beckoned the Changeling warrior. "Took you a while," Pagoma responded sarcastically. He wondered what made Syric suddenly feel any more ready than the past few dozen licks they had exchanged. Pagoma charged towards Syric, this time brandishing the blade from his Celestial-killing sword. He swiped it downward from left to right, aiming to make a cut from shoulder to hip. Pagoma then stuck the pointy end of his sword towards Syric's face, hoping to get a nice stab through one of his cheeks. "Thank you for this extra energy by the way," Pagoma commented. "Don't know what I'd do without ya..."The boost to Pagoma's energy was negligible, but in a fight where every ounce of energy was precious, he gladly accepted it. The other challenge was his body was beginning to grow weak again from the stacking cuts of Syric's blade. Not as weak as he was before taking a senzu bean, but rapidly approaching it. Engaging once again, Pagoma spun around in a full rotation with his Dragon Tail Axe positioned horizontally at Syric's chest height, trying to make a nice gash in his chest. Pagoma then changed it up and decided to slash his Axe towards Syric's legs, hoping if he took the Celestial down it could give him a moment to take him out.

They had been playing gladiator. Ever since the grapple and Frostburn dodging a bunch; Syric had gotten down and dirty with this fight. Minimal blasts were fired, the only one of major significance the one that turned this place into a wasteland, and they had just been striking at one another with their weapons. The main concern for the hunter though had to be the fact that Syric was hitting almost 2 strikes for everyone 1 that he was landing. It was showing too as they took more and more damage with each passing moment.
Syric ignored the response from the Changeling, instead focused on the sword once again as it came towards him. The blade had a cool aura, similar to that of the Celestials other dagger and while it was concerning because of the hatred for his race, it was not as dangerous. The last bit of energy the Celestial felt syphon into his last sequence of power and it was time for the Changeling to admit he was out of energy to continue this fight. All he had to do was avoid the axe and continue to rip him up with the daggers.
The slash across his body and then stabbing of his cheek caused blood to continue to pour out, but at this point neither warrior looked very good. They had been in an ongoing battle, relentlessly trying to maim the other for an extended period of time.
The axe came around next and the Celestial brought the daggers into defense mode, blocking the majority of the attack from reaching its target, but more importantly not allowing the inscription on the weapon to perk. Then came another cut, but this time Syric vanished from sight, moving behind the hunter as the axe missed its target once again.
”Too slow!” He proclaimed before stabbing both dagger towards the base of the tail of his opponent. He quickly shifted to the side, stabbing one blast into the underarm of Frostburn, before slashing the other just a few inches lower than the stab.
Moving back towards the face of his target, he slashed once more towards the shoulder and then with the other stabbed it into the hip of the soon to be shifting Changeling. He saw the energy was gone and the power was once again massively in his advantage. The dagger finally did its job… It was just a little too late and had given Frostburn just a little more time first.
”Surrender, pass out already. You can’t win in that form and you know it!”

Pagoma was all but choking on his own words. He had to gloat about stealing Syric's energy and think to himself how his dagger's energy stealing ability did not seem to be working. Now, exactly that had happened and Pagoma was fully sapped of the last of his energy. Before Pagoma had hardly realized it, his blood flashed a quick bright light and he stood roughly half the height he had moments before. He had been forced to regress to his First Form once more, due to a complete lack of Ki. The wear on his body had been great and now his power level and abilities would be noticeably weaker than Syric's. Syric mocked Pagoma before stabbing or slashing his tail, chest, hip, and shoulder. The speed and strength of his attacks seemed so much more to Pagoma in his reduced state. "Surrender, pass out already. You can’t win in that form and you know it!" Syric tried to reason with the Changeling warrior. Pagoma knew it in his evil heart that what the Celestial was saying was true. He couldn't beat him like that. But Pagoma simply couldn't give in. "That's not an option," Pagoma responded almost instinctively. Pagoma didn't care to elaborate but he was simply too stubborn, too prideful, and too determined to live to give up. The Celestial had said he would spare Pagoma's life but Pagoma had no reason to trust him. Even if he did, it still would have been nearly impossible for him to just surrender to an enemy. "Instead..." Pagoma continued, "I'll just have to steal some of that energy back from you!"Pagoma stepped towards Syric using only his Dragon Tail Axe to attack, hoping against hope that the magical properties of its inscribed markings would work. He swung his axe around striking his tail towards Syric's face like a threatened snake that just struck at its opponent. Quickly retracting the Axe back, Pagoma struck a second time towards Syric's face. Pagoma then stepped back a couple of steps before he started to spin. He built momentum for a moment through a couple of rotations before bringing his rotating body towards Syric. Like a sort of make-shift tornado, Pagoma tried twice to strike his opponent near his waist line. In his prior form, Pagoma's axe was a good height to try and decapitate his opponent, but now that his height was reduced, he barely landed halfway up the body of the Celestial. Slowing down to nearly a halt, Pagoma stopped spinning and stepped towards his opponent, using the piercing tip of his Dragon Axe to try and stab his enemy.

Frostburn would continue to refuse to take the generous offer of the thief. Syric knew at this point, his body was going to need some kind of special recovery to have the same handsome looks he had before this battle, but the fact that he was fighting for his own survival, made him forget all about that.
The fading power of the Changeling occurred once again, but as he reverted to his base form once again the tail axe continued to play its role. Stabbing twice at the face of the Celestial, he was far too exhausted to even try to dodge. Each slash from the axe, another opportunity for his opponent to regain some of his power, but would just that little bit of energy do more than hinder Syric’s ability to end this fight at this point? It was hard to know for sure, but the hunted felt confident he would be able to hold out at this pace.
He had seen it already. The hunter would lash out five times and he would reply against this form with overwhelming strength allowing him to strike twelve times with his daggers. He liked that ratio of attacks received to attacks taken. His body twitched though as the Changeling backed up, would his body truly be able to withstand that at this point?
He began thinking too much though and before he knew it, the hunter had begun to spin like a tornado. Attacks that before would have been cutting at his neck, the smaller base form of the Changeling as if ignored simply cut into his hips and body. Strike after strike, it was likely not smart to simply test the fate of the inscriptions, but the Celestial believed in living dangerously and truthfully needed a moment to gather himself once again.
”You don’t need to suffer any longer. Anytime your axe hits, my dagger will do the same.” He said confidently as he was getting cut up by the dagger.
As the last strike cut into his hip he did not concern himself enough to see if his energy had been stolen. Instead, he decided to play the ratio game he was already thinking about. Stabbing out with both daggers he looked to strike at the hip of the smaller Frostburn, where the axe had just cut into him. He would move up the body, next slashing across the stomach with both daggers. If Frostburn was simply going to exchange blows at this point he was ok with that. He liked his odds.
”Our energy will only bounce back and forth like a tennis ball at this point.”
He moved up from the stomach stabbing one dagger to the side as the other slashed across the rib area of his target. Once more he repeat it, but this time he would stab at the other side and slash down across the center breastplate of his target. He would continue upwards slicing the daggers downwards, trying to cut into the defined muscles of his hunter before finally slashing with hopefully his strength advantage up from the chin to each cheek of his rival.
Yes at this point, he considered Frostburn a rival, ”The fates have already determined that I will not fall here.”

"Anytime your axe hits, my daggers will do the same," Syric said. Pagoma knew what Syric meant. That Syric was striking him way faster than he was striking Syric. It took the Changeling far longer to use his Dragon Tail Axe than it took Syric to move around with his agile handheld blades. "You must be tired," Pagoma teased. Of course they were both tired. But there had to be a reason that Syric kept offering Pagoma chances to surrender. "You keep begging me to quit." Syric repaid Pagoma's remark with some more scars to add to the scratching post that had become Pagoma's skin. Each stab hurt just as much as the last one. Pagoma had to fight hard to not give into his pain and exhaustion. He wanted more than anything for the fight to be over too, but not until he stood victoriously over his opponent, or passed out in a pile of rubble beneath him. Fighting through the pain, Pagoma managed to slip past Syric's blades before they came in contact with his face. Pagoma used the brief miscalculation from Syric to attack, swiping his tail around sideways with his axe aimed for the Celestial's head. Pagoma went back to aggressively striking over his head like a scorpion poisons its prey. He struck with the sharp tip of his axe towards Syric's right and left shoulders before aiming a little lower towards the center of his chest. He relished the thought of penetrating Syric's body with his blade, holding his lifeless corpse above his head as it stuck to his tail. "You could always set your blades down and run," Pagoma made an offer of his own. "I'll even turn my back long enough to give you a head start. Maybe you can sneak away before I notice. Have a nice soak in a Rejuvenation Tank. Doesn't that sound nice?"Pagoma had no intention of letting the Celestial go, but hoped his words would at the minimum make his enemy's eyes that much heavier and the thought of giving in to his body's signals be that much more tempting. One of the was bound to crash soon, if not both.

Updated till Syric’s A3 this post:
Pagoma has Taken: 77.75 + WA (x22), Blocked Pinpoint Strike (50% of DR 2.5), Sneak Attack (DR 2) (11.75 New Damage) =89.5% Damage Taken (11,612 Vitality Damage)
Syric has Taken: 82.7% + 11 WA (2 Sword, 7 Axe, 2 Blocked Axe) (7% New Damage (It was 6.99678 so I rounded up f those extra numbers) = 89.7% Damage Taken (6,229 Vitality Damage)
The funny thing about all the trash talking back and forth between the hunter and the hunted, was that they were both right. Exhaustion had clearly settled in with both of them. The flames over the wasteland caused by Frostburn’s Supernova had started to settle, just random shots of lava from cracks in the planetary surface existed at this point. The damage was great and both of them were nearing a breaking point. How much more could they really take at this point?
”I am pretty tired, but trust me it is not begging.” He was only concerned with keeping his flawless no kill
As the Changeling dodged the strikes to his face, Syric was off balance. The opening let Frostburn swipe the tail towards his head, but the thief managed to move his daggers enough to block the strike from connecting flush with his head. Clearly his attacker was going for some homerun swings here. Frostburn then went back to his scorpion style, stabbing at his shoulders. Syric, turned his body in order to dodge the first, but in doing so turned into the second strike.
The last stab connected right to his chest, sending him away from the blow. His eyes squinted in pain. Syric had head what he was offered, ”Why would I give up… He took a few deep breaths as he darted back in, ”When I’m so clearly winning.” His attack was led with a cough of blood as he finished talking, almost like a distraction that happened on accident. He was not going to be denied though this victory. He stabbed the daggers both towards each thigh of the much smaller Changeling.
No matter if the attacks hit or not he slashed both daggers up, hoping to cut each leg up to the hip before stabbing the blades one after another into the still muscular chest of the hunter. Syric could see that he was fading, just like the Celestial was also fading in power and energy at this point.
”I’m not going to offer you a chance to live anymore. Whatever happens here happens. I just know that I won’t be dying.” He stabbed once more one dagger towards the neck of the Changeling and the other slashing up the other side. He wanted to open every wound he could and just watch this hunter bleed out. He did not care anymore for anything more than his survival and that meant the finishing of Frostburn once and for all.

Syric made some comments about winning the fight, but Pagoma felt it was too close to really say one of them was winning over the other. Both of the warriors were a bloody mess, barely resembling their former selves. Syric was no longer offering a chance for Pagoma to surrender, but as he was subjected to more stabbing and slashing from the Celestial's daggers, he reflected that while he wasn't afraid to die, he had to much to do in the living world to visit the one beyond just yet. As Syric's dagger went flying towards Pagoma's necks, the Changeling put up one arm to stop the momentum, limiting the force of Syric's stabbing. That was when Pagoma realized that his arm was partially frozen, limiting his movement from nearly half of his body. He wrestled his way out of the ice, breaking through it before he could attack. "Until the end then," Pagoma said, acknowledging that one or both of them would not be walking away from the fight. It was certainly the longest and hardest fought battle that Pagoma had engaged in, but he was determined. Pagoma faked that he was about to kick Syric in the face, before retracting his leg and swiping his Tail Axe towards Syric's face instead. Pagoma grabbed the rare sword from Toffit and followed up his axe's slash with a nearly identical motion towards Syric's face. Pagoma then arched his elbow with the blade nearly behind his back and launched as powerful of a swipe with his sword that he could muster. Given his exhaustion and reduced strength in his supressed form, that may not have been much compared to usual, but Pagoma knew the "bane of Celestials" had its own powerful properties to help compensate.

Frostburn wasn’t going to give up. He was also not going to do much in order to defend himself. The scratching post he likely felt like, was much more like a combat dummy that was getting tore to pieces before they finally threw it out like garbage.
The Axe swung around once again towards his head, and Syric used a burst of speed to avoid the attack, but his quick vanish brought him right back to where he had been and the sword that followed was unexpected. He was slashed across the face by the Celestial hating blade only to be caught off guard enough to eat another powerful strike from the hunter. Each stroke of the blade was enough to cause extreme damage to an opponent, but especially since it hated Syric for his race. The thief was not a fan of racist blades and the last two hunters to come at him both brought one. What was Celestial racism out there in the Universe growing on tree or something?
”Let’s see where to cut Frostburn up this time?” He taunted slashing the first blade up across one side of his targets ribs before stabbing the other to the opposite side.
He repeated the attack, slashing to the side he had just stabbed and stabbing at what he had just slashed before. Then he stabbing both daggers upwards, aiming to strike at each of the armpits of his target at the same time before quickly spinning and slashing both across his chest.
The armor they had both been wearing was still helping them from being killed, but it was all much worse for wear at this point. Syric was going to have to take his to someone to fix it up after all the blasts and strikes and he had taken and Frostburn was likely going to have to do the same. The damage they had both suffered was extreme at this point. Syric was not even sure how much more his body could take at this point. He knew he still had 1 way to heal himself in the bag, but he wasn’t sure if he wanted to go that route just yet.
”NOW FALL!” He yelled as he finished the spin, stabbing both daggers towards the neck of the Changeling. He had hoped the string of body attacks had taken the guard off of his head, but even if it had not, he was not done trash talking his opponent. Frostburn needed to always remember this fight with Syric. The Celestial would do everything in his power to make sure that was the case.

"When will this torture stop?" Pagoma thought to himself, giving in to the fact that he was beyond recognition, bleeding profusely, and felt like he could fall over from exhaustion at any moment. The only reason he hadn't was thanks to Syric's blades keeping him awake with each of their painful swipes. Pagoma was struck by Syric's blades in the sides of his chest multiple times before being sliced across his chest. Pagoma spit up a heap of blood in Syric's direction, as his weakening armor left his poor dying body in a state of rebellion. "Now Fall!" Syric shouted out like some type of action hero, before striking his daggers downwards towards Pagoma's neck. Pagoma quickly turned his body sideways so that his shoulders were perpendicular to Syric, causing the Celestial's blades to narrowly miss Pagoma's flesh. Pagoma used the brief miscalculation to swing his Dragon Tail Axe behind him, while reaching around to the back of Syric's body, aiming to sever his enemy's tail. Pagoma took pleasure in the thought of the Syric's detached tail pinned to the wall above his fireplace. Reaching over his shoulder with his body still turned sideways, Pagoma unsheathed his sword once more and made a striking motion downwards towards Syric's shoulder. With his tail still arched around so that if his opponent were still in close proximity he would be blocked on three sides, Pagoma took the opportunity to hack away at Syric's back again, adjusting if needed based on Syric's actual position. Pagoma then backed away to put some space between Syric and himself before charging an energy attack. "Wait..." Pagoma said to himself. "That's right... I'm all out of energy."The young Celestial was feeling more and more woozy, approaching incoherence with each drop of blood draining from his body. Improvising on the fly, Pagoma unwisely threw the Apollyon as hard as he could towards Syric, hoping to pin it the Celestial's chest like a dart.

The avoidance of his last strike once again. It was not the easiest thing in the world to do to take so many strikes in a row, but avoid the end. The hunter was seemingly fighting on instincts alone now. Each and every strike they landed on one another was bringing the fight closer to its end. The part that was the most dangerous though, was how would they actually get there. Everything was hurting, neither warrior could truly move as they once had and they were both ready to fall down at any moment.
The axe sliced across the tail Syric. The force, cutting into the flesh and down to the bone of the Celestial. The pain was excruciating and it allowed the blade to cut into his shoulder before the axe penetrated the flesh on his back some more.
It was all too much. He was surprised though when Frostburn backed up and put his hands in a position to fire energy. Had he somehow gathered some power from Syric that the Celestial did not feel leave his body? At this point anything was possible especially with the pain they were both in. Maybe he had missed the attack.
He moved, preparing himself for the attack, but then Frostburn seemed to realize he was out of energy. Syric was about to taunt as he moved from a possible defense only to catch the sword as it crashed into his chest. The blade penetrated his armor and flesh for a moment, but did not hit anything vital. He shook it out of him and blood poured out over his gear.
”Done with the blade then?” He asked arrogantly as if he was not entering dire territory here himself.
He bolted forward though. Once again using the power of the Vorox wing to do so without consumption of his energy and narrowed any gap that might exist. This time he started up top, slashing both blades quickly towards the face of his attacker before stabbing each from the outside towards the ears of his opponent. He was reminded of a movie he watched once, but he was far too tired to quote it here and do it just. He was a thief and a butcher in some ways, but he refused to butcher a line from a movie due to exhaustion.
Bringing the blades down he cut downwards across each shoulder before stabbing both dagger in unison to the chest of his weakened opponent. He had to hurt him and hurt him quickly. Even Syric had limits and he was reaching them quickly. Each attack he took put him closer to nearing death at this point. What would happen from there??? Not even he was certain of that.
A stab to the ribs followed from the right hand, while the left slashed across the face of Frostburn once more. The maximum amount of damage he could inflict, the only goal he had here.
Then he smiled at his target, ”Boom!” Just like that a shockwave of energy erupted from his eyes and with tremendous speed went right to the center mass of the hunter looking to finally put him down once and for all. He could not risk holding on to his energy for that much longer. He had to use it before he wasted it to the exhaustion of battle.

Syric's blades touched Pagoma's face and ears, nearly penetrating his hard Changeling ears. Pagoma had lost his sword when he threw it which made it that much harder for him to defend himself. Several more stabs to the torso left additional holes to the porous body of the nearly dead Changeling. But Pagoma, despite how ridiculous the notion might have been, was still not giving up. Pagoma let out a sour curse as Syric sent a nearly invisible, cold blast of energy his way. Pagoma held his arms up across his head and chest in an "X" formation, only partially able to stop the force of the attack. Oh, how he wished that he had the energy of his own to fire back an energy attack. Despite his double wielded weapons, energy attacks were Pagoma's real strength. But Pagoma did realize that the movements made while defending Syric's attacks had left him in close proximity to where his sword had fell after striking Syric. Pagoma stepped aside and quickly picked it up. Syric was presumably in close proximity to stop him, so Pagoma tried with all his might to slash across the Celestial's body with his reclaimed blade. "Not so fast," Pagoma said as he hacked away at Syric's ribs with his Dragon Tail Axe. He struck twice in the same place, hoping if he penetrated Syric's flesh that a follow up slash was only going to make the wound that much worse. "Heads or tails?" Pagoma asked sarcastically. If Syric actually answered he would strike the opposite of what he requested with his sword, but if he said nothing at all or didn't respond quickly enough, the Changeling would use the blade to try once more to sever the Celestial's unnecessary tail. The contemptuous banter of their battle was one of the few things keeping him conscious.

Damage: Pagoma: 24 WA’s Taken + 2 Blocked WA + DR 5 Blocked = 14.3% Damage which KO’s Pagoma
Syric Taken: 6 WA (4 Sword, 2 Axe) = 3.45 % Damage (Puts Syric at Near Death if it mattered)
Frostburn pulled up his guard after taking the onslaught of attacks. The blast of freezing energy that had come out of the eyes of the Celestial crashing into his beaten and broken body even through the defenses. It was the proverbial nail in the coffin of the Changeling. The drained warrior looked confident or maybe it was upset after blocking the attack and looked ready to continue his own onslaught.
That was when it happened. A few steps towards Syric and the sliced and diced body of the hunter finally gave way. The pain echoing over each cut from the freezing energy that had been released on him. It might have been refreshing to feel such a thing after the breaking of every part of his body that the Celestial had tried to do up to this point, but that chill was also the chill of his body finally giving way.
His body fell, crashing into the destroyed surface of the planet. A few flames of lava would erupt from the planets damaged structure after the attack, but none would overcome either of them. It was as if Juno itself was welcoming the end of the struggle.
Syric was not certain if it was a trap or not though and slowly approached the body, kicking the unconscious hunter over. He was still alive, his body had just given way. Syric knew his own body was close to doing the same though. He would have normally marked his kill at this point, but instead he simply picked up the dropped sword. It burnt his hands to touch, but he grabbed it and jammed it into the tail below the axe part of the hunter. It was as if he had planted the flag, letting the body of his opponent lie in a heap right there.
He then looked over the body of his opponent and saw something that said Pagoma on it. Was that Frostburn’s actual name? He had never shared it the entire fight and had even seemed to accept that name from Syric, but it was interesting to find out.
That was when the power drain radiated over his body. He wanted to hurt this hunter a little more, but understood that his body was nearing total give up on its own. He wrote a simple note, “Dear Frostburn, You suck and I won!”
He placed the note on the axe, letting it hang like a flag. He did not have much more time at this point. His favorite bar was destroyed, heck most of this section of the world had been destroyed by Frostburn. That guy was certainly was super close to beating him.
He hit a button on his wrist and suddenly a ship seemed to appear out of nowhere. He jumped up, going into the vessel before finding the rejuvenation tank. He was going to need a bit before he would recover. That and a number of senzu beans. After he felt better, well that is when he would find a new bar to call his own on Juno… OR MAYBE somewhere else!
A1: Watch Frostburn Passout A2: Check Body A3: Plant Sword like a Flag into Tail of Frostburn A4: Write and Leave Note A5: Go to Ship for his own recovery.
Syric wins the battle.
