Leading from hereJoseph continued drinking from the water bottle Yua, gave him as he waited and would listen to her response to his answers. By this time the Demi-Earthling's heart rate went back to its resting numbers. He wondered where the conversation would go now that Yua had been satisfied with what she saw, at least for the day before she'd likely want to test him again. He didn't mind it however, he liked fighting her though it teased him about the prospects of their real fight since he didn't want to go all out, opting to keep some of his cards close to his chest. They had been seeing each other pretty often in the astral realm, almost as option as he saw Mona before she left during her search. He hoped that the Astrologist atleast found what she was looking for, at least then she could have some fulfilment in contrast to the dread of the effect it had on her magic. He wish he knew more about magic maybe he'd be able to help her, but like Yua said she was the expert in the field, not to mention she was from a planet that ran on that force. The boy sat and kicked his legs as he finished the water, once he done he placed the cap back on, threw the bottle, sending soaring through the air before she stuck his hand out and shot it with a blast, making an explosion that vaporized it and left a small, quickly fading cloud of smoke. Those answers needed work, but Joe was a child, so it really wasn't that bad. But it wasn't an answer to her question, which was more towards which one he liked more. She mulled it over just a bit before the android nodded her head solemnly and replied, "While those answers only partially work, they aren't geared towards one or the other. But you are more on the intellectual side, so honestly, studying seems to be more your thing. Very... different from most with your genes." The vast majority of Saiyans were not exactly known for their smarts outside of battle, and even then she suspected that some of it was fully instinctual.
She sat back as she had to think. The water bottle the sailed through the air and was destroyed reformed as she waved her hand, and brought it to her, empty though it may be. She placed it next to her and looked at the boy a bit more seriously as she placed her hands together in front of her. "Now then, there are a few more things that I would like to discuss, but it seems that our time is limited. So we'll have to be brief." She felt the pull from the other side, as her trainer to make her a General wanted to speak with her.
"Tell me when you think you'll have a break. As much as I don't want to force you to come when you aren't ready, I do need to make sure that I have time. I am, after all, in a military faction of Avalon. That doesn't grant me a lot of free time to do as I please." If her General training was anything to go by, then the child would only be getting a smaller and smaller window as this went on.

Joseph listened as Yua commented on his answers. It seemed that middling responses were not what she was looking for when it came to questions such as this. He wondered why she had some much interest in what he wanted to do. Sometimes she seemed more interested in his life than he was. He watched as Yua brought back the water bottle he destroyed and put it to the side, still empty. He wondered why she choose to preserve it. The plastic wouldn't go to waste in this imagery realm. "Depends on my mood." Joseph said in response to Yua saying studying seemed to be more his thing.
Yua continued and explained that there were other things she wanted to discussed and asked when he thought he'd be free. "Ok, what do you want to talk about?" he asked. The boy wondered what else Yua would want to talk about. Controlling his power? He was confident in his control at this point, his training with Anna during the summer had drawn out a good deal of the hidden power and she taught him to control it, between that and the wild power increases slowing down he wasn't too worried about it and stuck to his training.
Maybe something about Mona? Giving her space wasn't a bad idea but he didn't think it would hurt to visit her and just say he was there if she needed anything at some point. Maybe the Android planned to give another lecture on the dangers of amateur law enforcement. Come to think of it she mentioned there were people out there who were stronger than him and protected people, he noted himself to ask her at some point. He would have loved to test himself against another heroic fighter. "I'm free anytime after 4 on week days, the afternoon on Saturdays. Sundays can be whenever or or aroun 11 at the latest."

His answers were still rather underwhelming, but understandable. No, they were not 'understandable', it was more that she should have expected them. His mood? That was such a strange thing to say, did he like the learning aspect, or was he more interested in battle? She assessed that he had a hero complex since a year or so ago. But this was just weird, if he wasn't a kid. She guessed that he would have this sort of trouble truly making up his mind, and well, she was not wrong. It seemed that Joseph was not aware as to why she asked him about these things, and that was fine. She didn't really expect him to understand her just yet.
"I need to ask you questions regarding when you think you'll be joining one of the major organizations around the universe," she said easily. It was honestly either going to be the Paladins or the Scholars, which was why the android tried to get these answers out of him. The Paladins were not a place for such middling resolve, plus his age really wouldn't let them place him into anything higher than a Journeyman, not without more than just a test of his skills. Unlike his parents, they would not be unaware of his activities.
She much preferred the Scholars for him, as he could be middling as much as he liked there. But it would waste precious time. That was not something that she would like for him, but at this point, she was rather certain that it was the best choice of the remaining two. He likely wouldn't join the Saiyan Empire, even though she was certain that he would be given ranks based on batt;e performance. But his potential for his mind would be wasted there. And she was certain that he would never join the Planet Trade Organization unless pressed into being there by force. And it was less and less likely by the day that he'd be forced into it.
"I need a day, not a time. Break from school, for instance," she said, as she rose an eyebrow. Certainly he didn't think that a bout between them would not leave either of the two without the need to heal. Yua would not be allowed to give him time to rest or break within the fight, and Joe would likely not give her much quarter. Even if he used maneuvers like going under the ground, he couldn't really hide from her scanners. He had used a valuable trick against her already, so he'd need to get even more creative.

Joseph listened to Yua's explanation for what the Android wanted to talk about. She had a question regarding when he think he would join one of the Major Organizations. An interesting question. Raiosu seemed to show interest in him joining the ranks of the Paladin's and the prospect of joining the scholars came up when he met Puar in the astral realm. Each of Organizations had things that interested him. They offered interesting experiences and would also open the door for challenges. Speaking of organizations he likely wouldn't join Shadowguard was certainly off the table. He'd never ally himself with the tyrannical Damaskian Empire. Their interest in the rest of the Galaxy seemed exclusive the prospects of conquests and spreading Chaos. There was also a complication of his propensity to piss off Damaskian commanders, Aria, Emi, Yan though that ironically that wouldn't have any bearing on stopping him from joining if he chose. The only thing that seemed to blacklist you from an organization was leaving. Though again he had no interest in joining their ranks. Paladin's or Scholars however, they did interest him, as did Saiyan Empire to a degree. "Oh, I'm undecided," Joseph said.
Yua then specified that she'd need a day as oppose to a time, like a break from school. Joseph thought for a moment, trying to thinking of when he'd most likely be free for a day. "In three weeks I'll be on Earth and school will be closed Friday. So I'll be free for three days."

Well, his answers were not all that unexpected. The first was that he was undecided. That was such a Joeseph answer that she wondered if there was a point in asking it. Could he actually win a match against her with this kind of indecisiveness? She wondered about that, and decided that there wasn’t a point in asking him that. Joe would, as most organic children, have an answer once he actually got around to doing it. “Got it,” she said as she placed a hand on her head. “Just understand that if you join the Paladins at your age, you’ll be stuck as a Journeyman until you are around eighteen. It is a military organization, after all.” Well, a branch of Avalon’s military, but there seemed times that they acted independently of each other. With the other answer, she nodded her head. “Very well, then that Friday to Sunday time frame will be when I contact your parents and have you brought to Avalon for some education.” It was the excuse to give them, anyway. A holiday for them to have a match, as it was. He would just need to be aware that he could go home with a lot of cuts and bruises. She wouldn’t have the luxury of holding back against the demi-Saiyan. She placed in her books as she grinned, “Avalon doesn’t have too bad of an education system, but it’s closer to Kelioux in how strict it is. Earth is likely better for what you need to learn, though.” She then sat back and thought about what else that they had to discuss, but came up short. If she were in a classroom, to Joe, it would have looked like she was balancing a pencil on the bridge of her nose and looking up, lost in thought. “Then I guess until then. I’ll have to get ready myself.” 1,061

"Makes sense, I guess. I think Raiosu was interested in having me Join the Paladin's, him or Berisimmon." Joseph still didn't quite understand the nature of the Saiyan Paladin's situation, something about an epic level wizard and his body carrying multiple souls if he recalled correctly. If Yua didn't know that detail of her fellow Paladin's life then she may not have understood what Joseph met about it being either Raiosu or Berisimmon. The half-Saiyan wondered how Yua felt about Raiosu since now he knew that she was less than fond of magic.
Joseph nestled his hands behind his head and leaned back, from below the ground emerged a nimbus cloud that lied on. He listened as Yua said that she'd contact his parents during the timeframe he mentioned and have him brought to Avalon for education. A twinge of annoyance hit the child at the thought of being brought somewhere for education on a three day weekend but on the bright said he had the fight to look forward too and he did have interest in learning about Avalon. "Alright," Joseph said. "I've always been interested in learning about Avalon."
There was a bit of a silence that followed as Yua tried to think of how to continue to the conversation but drew a blank. Joseph looked at her as she looked up at the sky. "Congratulations on being promoted to a general by the way," Joseph said. As far as he knew the status was well deserved. If he remembered correctly Anna was a General when reunited during that ordeal to gather the dragonballs so Gill and Spider couldn't get them. She probably still was one, unless she reached the Rank of Master Paladin. Joseph thought about what Yua said in regards to her having to get ready herself. The boy was interested in what could come of the General taking provisions for the battle. "Ok, I'll train in the meantime."
