"Down there, she's your first target," came the authoritative voice of Colonel Crimson, Commander Red's astute nephew. He had been entrusted with overseeing the Red Ribbon Army's cutting-edge cybernetic sentinel. "Her threat level isn't particularly high in the grand scheme of things, and she's registered as human. Nevertheless, consider this a crucial test for your capabilities and a valuable learning experience. Approach it as such."
The android's sensors zeroed in on the unsuspecting woman below, dissecting every nuance of her presence. Within the blink of an eye, his artificial intelligence processed a myriad of variables, constructing and deconstructing strategies as his programming dictated. It was a meticulous dance of calculations, an intricate web of probabilities, all culminating in a plan designed for optimal success.
"Initializing battle mode…" The android's transformation was seamless, a transition from the passive observer to an instrument of calculated force. His very being seemed to shift as he entered this combat-ready state.
"Battle mode initialization complete." Bathed in the relentless blaze of the sun, the cyborg warrior descended with unwavering resolve. His fiery red hair danced in the wind as he streamlined his form, cutting through the atmosphere like a guided missile. He aimed to utilise his imposing head as a weapon.
His descent was unrelenting, a swift and deadly trajectory. Yet, Android 16 was anything but a brute. In a display of grace and precision, he executed a mid-air pirouette, a testament to his agility despite his size. His colossal leg sliced through the air with the precision of a surgeon's scalpel, targeting the vulnerable juncture between the collarbone and her neck—a calculated strike designed to incapacitate, not kill. Using the momentum from the force of his kick, the Red Ribbon android swung himself around, his other leg stretched at, aiming to connect with the woman’s ribs.
But the android's assault didn't end there. As swiftly as he had attacked, he retreated, positioning himself in front of the blinding sun. His colossal hands stretched wide, fingers splayed like the wings of an avenging angel.
"Solar Flare!"
In an instant, a brilliant radiance erupted from the android's being. It was a light that rivalled the very sun, combining with its luminosity to intensify the blinding effect. His intention was clear: to envelop his adversary in a maelstrom of light, rendering her temporarily helpless as part of a tactical manoeuvre.

Human Bonus [+5 EXP] No city had a nightlife that even came close to living up to the monster that was West City’s Whiskey Road. It was famous worldwide for its assortment of clubs, bars, strip joints, and late-night restaurants, bringing in millions of tourists annually. Launch didn’t consider herself a tourist, though; initially, she had come just to spend a week on the town, but she had quickly made so many friends that she found herself unable to leave and had thus spent the next three years making the city her new home.
She didn’t go out all the time, like some of her friends did - the blue-haired vixen simply didn’t find the energy in her to go out more than once or twice a month for late night activities. Between going to night school, her new job, and her constant attempt to master cooking, she barely had the energy for drinking and dancing. Earlier tonight, though, she had been begged, prodded, cajoled, and eventually coerced into joining her two best pals - Branch and Dina - to hit the lights of Whiskey Road yet again.
At the moment, Launch found herself standing a little bit outside Wolf Knight, one of her favorite clubs, being held at the waist by a super nice man with windblown dirty blonde hair and a smile that could melt ice. She could swear she was still being spun around by him but knew in the back of her mind that it was just a mixture of the alcohol and nervous butterflies.
“Come on...” he half-whined, half-teased. “There’s nobody else in the whole world - it’s just you and me here!” He opened his arms as wide as he could to emphasize how alone they were, and both the young man and Launch pretended that there were not dozens of people actively walking past them every minute. “So - story, now!”
The hands Launch used to cover her face couldn’t quite hide the growing heat on her cheeks and neck, nor could it hide the giggle she emitted from behind her fingers. “Well, I don’t know!” she shouted without lowering her hands. “Okay, fine! When I was nine--”
The events of the next few seconds would ensure that the smooth talker with the glamorous hair would never be able to finish that conversation with Launch. She felt a massive pressure rapidly approaching from behind her - someone far more powerful than anyone who happened to be strolling down Whiskey Road at the moment - and that was her only warning before she felt the impact of what could only be described as a ball of Katchin slam into her back.
As she flew forward, accidentally shoving her date out of the way, she heard the sounds of several pops from her spine area, loosening up the whole thing considerably. Launch collapsed into a small section near her that held bushes in fresh soil and as her body crashed into said bush, massive plumes of pollen flew into the air around her, distracting the woman from noticing the kick that had nearly taken her head off.
A decent amount of the pollen had shot straight into her nose, so while the human struggled to get her bearings, she could feel her nose begin to tickle, and thought to herself, I really hope she can get us out of this. There was no avoiding the incoming spectacle, no time to even get to her feet before it came:
“Ah...”
“Ah...”
“Ah-CHOO!“
The force of her sneeze actually rocketed the woman upright, and her entire body... phased. A second before, a kind woman’s dark eyes had been staring at the dirt, scared and helpless. Now she stood so proud a couple bystanders could have sworn she was actually taller, and her bright, green eyes held steel in their gaze.
Some ginger-headed moron with clothes so bright she thought he might have belonged in a clown show was spinning around in the air like some kind of moronic trapeze artist - without the rope. She didn’t even give the satisfaction of even reacting a little bit when he kicked into her ribs, despite the actual power behind it making her body move an inch to the side.
She took a second to inhale, so that when she spoke, she wouldn’t clue this freak in to her being briefly breathless. As she did, she took in the sights, and realized with glee that she was out on Whiskey Road. It seemed that her gullible side was startin’ to have a little fun. After a moment, Launch, as pompous as she could be without knowing any context of the situation, shouted, “What exactly did The Other Launch do to get into this mess?”
It didn’t answer, instead splaying its hands across his cheeks. “What is this, some kinda ancien--”
“Solar Flare!”
Launch actually took a step back from the brightness, nearly tripping and falling a second time. She closed her eyes, even covered them with her hands, but nothing seemed to escape the intensity of its luminosity. She nearly threw up, the alcohol still running through her system. Guess the bimbo was drinking, she managed to think to herself as she began to feel the effects of a quickly worsening headache.
However, the forgotten outlaw refused to back down, her confidence as high in that moment as it had been before she had received the kick to her side. Rushing forward, she still knew exactly where to approach the powerful pressure that she knew must have been his Ki signature. She patted her pockets and was disappointed to find that Other Launch hadn’t even been nice enough to pack some heat for her to work with; she resigned herself to beating this thing down with her bare hands.
Nothing tripped Launch up as she approached, luckily, and she ignored the screams of the intoxicated, fleeing university students and the like - her focus was on putting the hurt on that red-headed tin can. Actions:

The android's analytical gaze didn't miss a beat as he processed the woman's startling transformation. In an instant, her hair had transitioned to a striking blonde hue, and her demeanour had undergone a marked shift toward something more primal and aggressive. His advanced scanners registered a significant increase in her power levels, sparking a cascade of data analysis. What could account for this transformation? His extensive database yielded no records of humans harnessing such a profound power surge by simply altering their hair colour. The possibility of her being a Saiyan, a race known for their remarkable transformations, flickered in his mind.
Updating database … female adversary potentially Super Saiyan…
As Android 16 grappled with this enigma, the blinded woman propelled herself forward, driven by a surge of newfound power. Her depth perception seemed skewed due to the effects of the blinding solar flare, giving him a brief window of opportunity to strategize.
He opted for a calculated course of action, maintaining his stoic composure. The mechanical sentinel recognized the small gap between them and decided to leverage it to his advantage. In one fluid motion, he launched his colossal knee toward the woman's rapidly approaching chin. The precision of his movements was impeccable, aimed to intercept her with pinpoint accuracy.
Following the knee strike, he swiftly brought his hands together, hoping to create a formidable collision force that would send her hurtling towards the unforgiving ground below, with the force of the impact hopefully enough to momentarily disorientate her.
But Android 16 was far from done. As his scanning eyes emitted a piercing glow, twin beams of concentrated energy erupted forth. These beams were precise and deadly, moving swiftly with a calculated precision. Meanwhile, his mechanical hands underwent a transformation of their own. Hidden beneath their sturdy exterior were two fearsome cannons, their chambers humming with surges of energy that quickly escalated to a crescendo.
Without hesitation, he unleashed the devastating power of his cannons, propelling a colossal energy blast at point-blank range toward the transformed, blonde female. The impact of such a close-range blast would be formidable, capable of delivering a staggering amount of energy to his opponent, the shockwaves echoing across the battlefield.

She could still see stars in her eyes, so a tactical assault on the weirdly silent attacker wouldn’t really be the best move for her. God, she wished she had her machine gun, it would make this so much easier. Poke a couple holes in his aluminum foil and have this weirdo headed for the scrap heap by sunrise.
Instead, all she could manage to do was cross her arms over her chest in an X shape as she approached, ready to headbutt the android at full throttle and send him flying. Seeing as she was the only one who was blind, though - the robotic blur had seen her move coming and planned for it, kneeing her right where she was protecting her chest and slowing Launch down significantly.
“Eck, eck,” she said, croaking as she attempted to get her breath back. In the moment, that mysterious figure she was fighting took advantage and bonked her on the head. Launch presumed that the hit was hard enough to leave her dizzy, but with her eyes still seeing spots, it was impossible to tell. All she knew was that her head felt awful - the last time her head had felt this heavy, she’d been at an all-girl’s school as a prepubescent child, forced to hold up a stack of books and balance them on her head while walking.
That training was helpful for one thing, though, and she somehow didn’t collapse. Her knees buckled, and her ankles cried out for relief, but the human stayed upright, because even as a child, she didn’t ever want to receive a whooping. She barely took a breath before righting herself, hands still locked in an X across her chest. Once she fully righted herself, she felt what must have been knives go into her forearms.
Launch yelped, taking a step back. It had been barely a handful of seconds since she’d gotten within range of this beast, and the golden-haired woman was now convinced that this can of worms was maybe one she shouldn’t have opened. Launch bent her knees, ready to get the heck out of Dodge, and felt the power of years of gymnastics begin to build up in her calves. She allowed her hands to fall from her midsection to lay limply at her sides, before with a howl, she leapt into the air with as much force as she possibly could handle.
As she rose above the incoming attack, completely unaware of how nearly she could have been vaporized, Launch could only focus on how her legs still held a surprising amount of strength in them. Usually, all the power vanished once she lifted into the air, but this time, if anything, the power continued to grow. She could feel her veins filling with energy, could feel herself becoming more... could feel her heartbeat slow, and her vision even had the illusion of getting better briefly. What in Sam Hill was going on?
The woman rocketed through the air, and despite everything going on with her at the moment - or maybe because of it - she couldn’t help herself from throwing another barb at the android as she headed... at least some distance away. “You know, if you weren’t such an effin’ square, I might have even let ya hit later tonight!” A moment later, her feet touched the ground.
That was strange.
She shouldn’t have hit the ground for a much longer time. Launch was still dangerously close to the android.
The fight would continue, it seemed. Hopefully, whatever flashlight he’d gotten her with hadn’t permanently blinded Launch, because she was going to need her eyes if she wanted to stay in the game for any longer than she already had been. Actions:

The synthetic guardian momentarily contemplated Launch's cryptic remark. Her words had carried an air of duality, suggestive of hidden intentions. However, his mechanical mind struggled to decode the subtle nuances that often permeated human communication.
"There is no need for me to hit you later. I am already inflicting damage on you now," he responded in his characteristic monotone, his words devoid of any emotional inflection.
Undaunted by Launch's surging power, Android 16 pressed forward with his relentless assault. He closed the gap between them with swift, purposeful strides. His massive form moved with an uncanny grace as he unleashed a series of devastating strikes. First, a powerful right jab, followed in rapid succession by a left cross.
As he executed the left cross, his colossal frame shifted, his weight transferring to his left foot. It served as the perfect pivot point for his subsequent attack—a roundhouse kick. Traditionally aimed at an opponent's midsection, but given the vast difference in size between him and the petite woman, the kick's trajectory seemed to take a different direction, aimed squarely at her head.
Refusing to grant his opponent a moment's respite, Android 16 flowed seamlessly from one attack to the next. After the roundhouse kick, he initiated a powerful internal process. Within his mechanical body, a blaze of fire ignited, coursing through him and intensifying the heat within until a torrent of flames was unleashed from his mouth, threatening to burn all in its path, which in this instance, was Launch.
As the last embers of the external fire died out, he seized the opportunity, extending his arm outward. In a brilliant tactical move, he harnessed the fading flames as momentary camouflage, obscuring his actions from view. Within that brief window, he unleashed a potent wave of energy toward his transformed adversary.

Almost like magic, the second Launch began to worry about her lack of sight, her eyes began to clear up. Perhaps the Big Guy upstairs really was looking out for her - it didn’t make much sense, considering all the sinnin’ she had gotten up to, but she wasn’t gonna say no to a freebie miracle. This freak of nature was out to put her down for good, and Launch was way too young and pretty to go down anytime soon.
“...already inflicting damage...”
She rolled her eyes. At least she knew this tin can was a man. Only a man could run straight past the point with that level of sheer confidence. Whatever; it wasn’t worth trying to reword the insult to bring it to his level. She knew, and if any of the screaming babies running around them happened to hear, they’d also know. Maybe even when they got to wherever they were skittering off to, they might even laugh at what she said.
As the robot approached her, his ugly, green-tinted jacket glowing against the backdrop of all the flashing lights, Launch was suddenly shocked by just how... how big this guy was. Eyeballing it, she wanted to figure that Terminator-type robot was somethin’ like seven feet. Launch herself was already pretty tall for a woman, and in her nightlife heels she was probably about 6’, and still he was head and shoulders bigger.
That had another downside that the recently able-to-see Launch hadn’t planned for - his legs and feet were massive, which made every step he took a good bit faster than she expected. She had started preparing herself for a defense, but the ginger-bot was on her a good couple seconds before she was ready. Two punches slammed into her midsection, and Launch was met with the same feeling of someone throwing a massive sack of cash at her before she was prepared.
Wheezing from the air flying out of her lungs, the bottle-blonde widened her eyes nervously - this guy was built like an absolute monster, and acted like one, too. She was rewarded for keeping her eyes open, though; she saw the hips twist on the man in front of her - which was easy, since she was almost bent over double from the previous punches - and immediately recognized what was coming.
She had spent enough time robbing small towns of their cash to recognize when some bozo wanted to get fancy with martial arts, thinking they were the next Jackie Chun. Launch immediately ducked down further, dropping into a full squat even with the 4-inch heels on her.
And Dinna thought it made me floozy to learn how to do this, she thought to herself smugly. Crouched on the ground, she managed to pull her hands away from where they had instinctively been clutching her gut and waited. As the android rotated his entire body, Launch paused until the perfect moment - right when the android expected his leg to make contact with her - and struck.
Lifting herself back to full height, with her arms over her head, the human attempted to push against the underside of the robot’s legs, hoping that top-heavy freak would end up toppling to the ground as a result. Once she had come all the way up to full height, she quickly skittered a few feet backwards, giving herself breathing room for her next plan.
The android came up with a plan quicker.
A torrent of flames shot from his mouth, aimed directly at the human. Even though she prided herself on being much less girly than Other Launch, she still couldn’t help herself from raising her arms instinctively to protect her hair from the fire. She managed to, but the fire was never going to hit her hair, anyway; instead, the tendrils of fire caught against her dress, a little knee length number that was all black but covered in sunflowers.
Launch patted the flames out quickly with her hands but couldn’t help but note that her legs had also gotten a decent lick, not that there was anything she could do about it at that point: she was fresh outta burn cream. As she kept hitting her thighs with her hands, though, she accidentally hit a button on her watch, and it transformed into a blaster.
A blaster! Darn it all, I had this baby the whole time?!
Without missing a beat, she lifted her arm up and fired a shot off. It seemed that not only was her opponent bigger and faster than she’d realized while blinded, he also was a good bit smarter. The second she lifted her arm, he also raised his, and two energy balls collided between them, exploding in a (much dimmer) flash of light that left Launch blinking back tears.
The human thought about sending another shot with the Arm Blaster but decided to save that baby for when she was sure she could land a hit - this thing required precision and care, something that she didn’t have in her usual spades due to the liquor, but still had enough of to give him a fight.
Instead, she reached behind her back with both hands, and from seemingly nowhere two comically large axes appeared. “I’m gonna cut you to shrapnel, you hunka junk!” she shrieked in frustration, running at the android with adrenaline pumping like she hadn’t felt in weeks. First, her right arm swung overhand, trying to cleave the thing in two from above. He needed a better haircut, anyway.
As her right arm came down, Launch lifted her heels and spun just on her toes, preparing the axe in her left arm to cut through the android from the side, hopefully chopping one of its goofy arm cannons off - or maybe even if she was lucky, cutting through to his inner wiring. Once she was done, she briefly spun both axes around her hands and stopped so that they formed a perfect defensive X in front of her.
She still wasn’t in top shape, but the human was at least back in the game. Actions:

| ref report Raven Android 16 DMG: 0% Launch DMG: 9.96% |
All that Raven had wanted was to get drunk, and find someone to take home. She had been on the verge of doing so, enjoying the cool night air and the chatter of people around her, eager to be let into the club on Whiskey Road. It was a seedy tavern, but their drinks were cheap, and they had more than enough liquor to sate her - and plenty of fair looking females and males for her to flirt with.
However, right as she had shown her ID card to the big, burly male that could have passed for a Saiyan guarding the front door of the bar, aptly named Lucky's, a crash resounded from behind her. The noise had come from much further down Whiskey Road, and her curiosity peaked.
She turned to the bouncer, snatched her identification back from him, and gave him a small wink, before allowing her Ki to propel her into the air. She flew a short distance towards the noise, before letting her feet touch the concrete of the roof of a department store. Walking to the edge of the roof, she sat down, and took in the sight. It seemed that the blonde haired, green-eyed woman that she had met previously was currently defending herself from some goliath of a being - humanoid, at least.
She brushed her fiery hair behind her ears, and narrowed her eyes. For a brief moment, she considered jumping in to help the woman that she had robbed a bank with, along with them spending a day getting their nails done, and robbing another store - but she figured that she would watch - just to see if she could hold her own.
It seemed like the woman was dazed by some flash of bright light that still lingered - was she drinking too? Launch covered her chest in a futile attempt to block the attacks that the strange being was throwing at her, before his knee collided with her chest and she stumbled backwards, before jumping into the air.
Well... for a human, she can jump pretty high.
The ginger didn't let up on his attacks either, going so far as to hit her with a blast of fire from his maw. Raven shook her head, a slight sigh erupting from her lips. What was he doing all of this for -- better yet, what had Launch done to vex him so?
From her vantage point on the roof, she could see the woman barely patting the flames off of her body, and chuckled slightly.
"Don't get burned by any embers..."
Surprisingly, the woman ended up pulling out two huge weapons - made by the humans, no doubt, that Raven particularly disliked, and moved forwards again to attack.
The red-head put her fist under her chin, before grinning down at the sight in front of her.
"Maybe this is a better way to spend my night..."

TLDR: Raven goes out to a bar to get drunk and have a fling; A16 & Launch interrupt her night out with a ruckus & Raven decides to eavesdrop.
RP Award: Launch
↓ Breakdown ↓
So, the reason why we're giving the RP Reward to Launch is because of the atmosphere and the way he describes his actions - you have to remember that you're not just battling, you're setting a scene and telling a story. Launch went into a description of what her counterpart was doing when she was attacked by Android 16. While Android 16 tells us in the beginning that the RRA is the reason behind him attacking Launch, we never see any buildup to that.
A16 - I want you to focus more on building atmosphere - I have personally written with you and seen how introspective you can get, but I'll tell you like I have before - get out of your head. You are amazing at dialogue, and telling us your character's thoughts, but we need to see more of that atmosphere coming out. Also, describe your attacks with more atmosphere as well; for instance, with Fire Breath, you could have gone into how the heat of the fire made A16's hair singe, or how there were heat waves, etc; but instead, it felt more like big fire, you're hurt. I think if you fix these things, you could easily earn the RP Award.
Launch - I may be a little biased, but your writing is incredible. I love every aspect of it, but I do think you have a slight area to improve with. I think you're doing something that most men do when they write women - they overwrite feminine features/aspects and tend to make their character too girly. I'm not saying that you did this in this post, but I have noticed slight areas where you have done it before, so try your best to tone it down. I hope that makes sense. Damage Breakdown:
Launch
Mastered Hammerhead [DR2.5] - 2.66% Special Attack x 2 - 2.21% Special Attack - 0.46% Bionic Punisher [DR3] - 1.53% Quick Attack x 2 - 1.44% Fire Breath - 1.66%

The once-peaceful street had transformed into a tumultuous scene. The hum of ordinary human activity had given way to pandemonium. Some bystanders, driven by fear, let out shrill screams as they fled, their panicked voices filling the air as they scrambled to distance themselves from the unfolding chaos. Others simply gawked, their eyes locked onto the two combatants locked in fierce battle. They couldn't tear their gaze away from the tumultuous spectacle.
A few among the crowd had seized the opportunity to record the event, their phones held aloft to capture every moment of the street brawl. Meanwhile, others, recognizing the dire nature of the situation, frantically reached for their phones to alert the authorities, hoping they could intervene and restore order.
Amidst the chaos, Android 16 continued to absorb and analyse the surrounding human behaviour. It served as an invaluable learning experience, offering him insight into the complexities of human interaction. However, in the heat of the battle, this newfound understanding did little to aid him in deciphering the most pressing question at hand—how to effectively combat the formidable blonde warrior before him.
As Launch closed the distance, Android 16 seized a brief moment to conduct a rapid scan of her. The scan, while momentarily slowing him down, was a calculated risk, undertaken to acquire vital information that might give him an edge.
Requesting further information on Human or Saiyan female … The data began to flow in as Launch bore down upon him. She swung one of her formidable axes with deadly intent, bringing it crashing down toward him. With astonishing reflexes, the android's colossal hands intercepted the blade, clapping his hands together on each face of the blade, halting it mere inches from his head. Though this did not seem to deter her, as she immediately followed up with a second strike, aiming to cleave into his midsection, where his arm would have been mere moments ago.
Leveraging the immobilised axe, the mechanical colossus abruptly altered the course of her attack, although he still felt the strike of the axe against his metal ribs, causing him to wince, making him thankful for his armour absorbing a portion of the blow. Despite this, the android refocused, using the weapon as a makeshift fulcrum, raising the human assailant upward. In an instant, his colossal knee shot upward, a formidable attack aimed squarely at her torso. The size and force of his knee strike were commensurate with the massive scale of his frame.
Data transfer incoming... Name: Launch - Gender: Female, Age: Unknown, Species: Human. Wanted on numerous accounts of robbery … It was becoming increasingly evident that Launch possessed exceptional resilience. None of the Red Ribbon soldiers had managed to withstand the android's overwhelming might, leaving the organisation with the arduous task of retraining its forces and intensifying its recruitment efforts to bolster its ranks.
"You are tough, Launch," the android complimented her, his voice maintaining its monotone, mechanical quality. "It is clear that you possess skills above that of the average person, but time is running out. Soon the authorities will be here."
His words were deliberate, meant to both praise her prowess and provoke her. Android 16 gestured towards the group of civilians who had taken action to alert the police, attempting to rile up the feisty warrior and distract her.
In the mechanical warrior's calculations, the clash with Launch was unlikely to last for an extended period. While she had demonstrated remarkable resilience and combat ability, she had not been built with the sole purpose of battle as he had been.
With a subtle shift in his stance, Android 16 raised his arm, his sensors detecting that the massive burst of energy he was about to unleash would directly impact only the blonde fighter. The other humans had already evacuated the area, minimising potential casualties, and he knew that The Red Ribbon Army was prepared to cover the collateral damage financially.
In a matter of seconds, the mechanical guardian generated an immense reservoir of ki, a surging torrent of power that tore through the air with unmatched velocity. The sheer force of the energy beam uprooted concrete pavements on either side and ripped through the middle of the road, sending debris flying in all directions. Shop and bar windows shattered as they succumbed to the intense pressure of the massive energy wave.
As the colossal torrent of energy finally subsided, Android 16 remained stoic amid the smoky aftermath. The full extent of the destruction he had wrought became clear as the dust and smoke gradually dissipated. With no further need for restraint, the cybernetic sentinel channelled his artificial energy without reservation, removing all self-imposed limitations. His power surged to its maximum, a brilliant white, translucent aura enveloping him and instantaneously dispelling the lingering smoke.

Despite Launch’s attempt to disengage from the massive android after her attacks, he gripped onto one of her axes, holding it in place by sheer force of will. Launch didn’t want to let go of the things - she was attached to them - so she found herself a moment later being lifted up into the air. She let her arm holding the free ax droop, and looked down at the ginger robot, wondering what he had in store for her at this point. Her assumption was that he would try and toss her, but instead, she saw one of his knees rise up to slam into her; the human reacted as quickly as she could, lifting her bottom half so she was almost in a midair fetal position. With her legs tucked into her chest, her assailant’s knee kicked into her feet harmlessly, and in response, she clenched her hands and tried to lift her entire body a few inches. By treating the ax handle like a rope in gym class, she allowed her torso to lift itself up and over the android’s knee, and she quickly kicked out both of her feet, hoping to clock him clean in his jaw.
At that point, seemingly undeterred, the robot let go of her ax, allowing Launch to drop back to the ground safely. He then spoke, acknowledging her skill - and, she was pleased to note, there was no tone of surprise as she was often met with by people of a larger stature. The android complimented her fighting prowess but without the backhanded surprise. However, that wasn’t all he did; he also had information for her. “...but... soon the authorities will be here,” he finished, pointing to the side. Stupidly, Launch actually looked, taking her eye off the prey momentarily. And what did she see but verification of what he had told her: sweaty men holding their jackets in a white knuckled grip; women with the mascara running down their faces from tears; bouncers forming a defensive row separating the fight from civilians; and almost all of them holding phones to their ears, talking.
Chances were high the cops had been informed.
She continued to look at the crowd for a few seconds, weighing her options. Most of the people standing there who were able to give any info at all would know - and likely tell the cops - that she was defending herself against a maniac. Shoot, just based on the size of the freak who had attacked her, she would be given the benefit of the doubt. Especially with the location being Whiskey Road, they probably got calls all the time about abusive men trying to assault people unnecessarily.
The problem was they would almost definitely need her to give up her identification.
Doing that would show that she had several warrants out for her arrest in a lot of the nearby hick towns for... well, she hardly even remembered. She just remembered that it would be very tricky, and she did her best to avoid any police interaction if she could manage. Perhaps Launch could try and melt into the crowd when the pigs showed up? Surely, she’d been identified by the people calling, but how many blonde women in little black dresses were on Whiskey Road right now?
Enough that she might could just get out of this situation okay.
Launch began to grin to herself, when she saw a flash of light to her side and turned just in time to see that the android had lifted an arm right at her face; a ball of energy was glowing in his arm cannon, ready to release. She had just enough time to lift her axes before the cannon released a plasma beam. It hit her weapons with an unbelievable amount of force, and she actually started to skid backwards. Her arms were shaking with the effort of holding back whatever this high-tech laser beam was, but eventually, Launch managed to lift her arms high enough that the pressure of the beam shot upwards, flying high into the sky. The human wheezed, sweating, arms still raised over her head. After a second, she wiped some beads of sweat that had appeared on her forehead with the back of her right hand and marveled at how sore her biceps felt. She clearly was getting out of shape if she was already feeling weary - though, then again, she had never fought anything like the monster in front of her right now. This machine could probably be King Furry’s personal bodyguard.
Actually... she saw a glimpse of something in that moment - a red bow on his chest, with some symbols in the middle. She started to squint to make it out better, but just as she did, wind began whistling around him, and a faint white glow appeared around him, pulsing with a sinister energy. It blurred whatever that red bow represented, but Launch made a note in her mind about it, because she was sure she had seen it somewhere before.
Holy Mother of...
She was tired, angry, inebriated... her feet were absolutely killing her, and the anxiety of the idea in the back of her mind about the police approaching left Launch just wanting to crawl into bed and sleep for a year. Instead, she took one slower inhale, before raising her arms yet again, keeping the axes at her sides at roughly chest level. “I got all the time in the world, you wannabe Transformer,” she spit out through labored breaths. “How ‘bout you show me if you’re tough!” Her feet clattered against the asphalt, though no one heard it over the sounds of random chatter, vehicles speeding away, and screams from some still-terrified locals. She jumped - with much less intensity than the previous time - and lifted both the axes over her head. This time, she brought her arms down with all the strength she could muster, attempting to plant them so deep into the robot’s shoulders (or whatever he had under his plastic exterior) that she’d never get them back. Launch's resourcefulness soared above the ordinary, showcasing a remarkable prowess in the throes of combat. She had defied expectations not once but twice. First, she thwarted Android 16's colossal knee strike, a mammoth of an attack that threatened to send even the sturdiest opponents sprawling. Yet, in midair, her movements held a grace that defied gravity, allowing her to nimbly redirect her trajectory and land a swift and precise blow on his unsuspecting jaw, a strike that would have sent most ordinary humans into a deep, unconscious slumber.
Her second feat was equally astonishing; she had successfully repelled one of Android 16's most devastating attacks. However, the effort etched visibly across her face betrayed the immense difficulty of the task. With each laborious breath, beads of perspiration glistened on her skin. It wasn't that Android 16 was inherently mightier, for their powers appeared to be finely balanced. Rather, Launch seemed to be meticulously conserving her strength, ensuring she had ample reserves for the battles yet to come. In contrast, the mechanical marvel Android 16 fought without concern, his energy reservoirs running far deeper than those of any biological entity.
A hush descended upon the street as the two warriors confronted each other. Android 16's recent onslaught had left the public stunned, their collective gasps hushed by the sheer scale of destruction wrought upon the once-tranquil street. It remained unclear whether the spectators were more awestruck by the android's unfathomable destructive prowess or by Launch's uncanny ability to withstand such a relentless barrage.
Yet, Android 16 paid no heed to the onlookers. His sole focus was Launch, who once again hurled herself into the fray, twin axes gleaming menacingly. The mechanical guardian remained an unyielding monolith, as steadfast as a mountain, permitting her initial strike to cleave down onto his shoulder. A fleeting grimace crossed his impassive visage as he analyzed the situation, enduring the pain to gather crucial data on both her strength and his resilience.
But a second strike would not find its mark. His iron grip clamped onto her forearm, arresting the axe's perilous descent. In a seamless display of calculated precision, the android retaliated with a punch aimed squarely at her abdomen, attempting to steal her breath away. His unfeeling gaze locked onto hers, and from within, an ominous surge of energy illuminated his eyes, unleashing precision beams directed straight at her own. It was a sinister gambit, a ruthless endeavor to blind the human. But Android 16 was not burdened with empathy; victory was his sole directive.
Unrelenting, the cyborg followed up swiftly, parting his lips once more to release the same potent energy. Simultaneously, his palm unfurled, and the twin streams of devastation gushed forth, erupting at point-blank range. The lethal torrents threatened to engulf everything in their path, heralding a cataclysmic maelstrom of destruction.

As Launch descended on Android 16, he moved, but it was clear his movements would not be swift enough to stop her approach. He was an immovable object, but against her unstoppable force, the human was finally starting to gain an edge. It was the smallest sliver of optimism in this grueling, unexpected combat, but it was enough to have Launch’s confidence soaring. Where before, it had been pure bravado, now the blonde was beginning to truly believe that despite her lack of knowledge, power, and her standard gambit of weaponry, she might be able to walk away from this foray mildly unscathed.
With the utmost satisfaction, she felt first one ax found its home exactly where she intended, and then the second--.
The moment never came. Perhaps the android had been faking his lack of speed, or perhaps something made him shift into a higher gear, but his arm shot out with unbelievable velocity, stopping her in midair and holding her there by gripping onto her arm. Before Launch could even defend herself and escape his clutches, one of his meaty fists made contact with her abdomen, causing Launch to scream in agony. It felt as though he had simultaneously punched every single one of her vital organs just by virtue of his enclosed fist being so large.
Her eyes widened to the point of nearly popping out of her skull, and darted around as though searching for a solution. Still held in place by the titan’s unyielding grip, Launch saw only a glint of light coming from his eyes before searing pain once more attacked her eyes. She shut her eyelids, squealing and squirming, the scent of freshly cooked scrambled eggs filling her nostrils and sending a wave of nausea crashing through her.
Was she permanently blinded? Had this thing melted her eyeballs with some kind of laser beam? She wasn’t sure, and refused to try to open her eyes to check - it was literally impossible for her to in the moment. All she could do was continue to scream at the top of her lungs until she ran out of air, before taking another breath and once again crying out in sustained agony. There was no thought of what the people watching the debacle were seeing, no consideration of how to appear impressive to the strangers around them.
How could there be?
As she continued screaming, the strange thought that she might die flicked across her mind; it hadn’t been a thought Launch had ever considered before. She was barely an adult, an immortal, invincible youth - nothing could kill someone in their 20’s.
And yet.
But as she continued her excruciatingly uncomfortable shrieks of pain and suffering, a new and entirely foreign feeling began to come over her. It was almost like the feeling of vomiting... this strange experience of reverse eating, where food was simply appearing somewhere in the back of her throat, filling her mouth, and regurgitating back out. Perhaps she was delirious from the pain - she wasn’t exactly able to use critical thinking skills amidst everything going on. She could barely even hear anything anymore over the sound of, well, herself.
The human woman felt something smash into her face, but she wasn’t exactly sure - it could have been a harsh wind blowing, or a vicious backhand, or maybe her face was just growing warmer from pain; Launch had learned a long time ago that pain would beget heat. What she knew for sure was a moment later, her feet touched the ground. Her knees rocked shakily, barely able to stay upright, but the shock of feeling the ground actually made her momentarily stop screeching.
Perhaps she wasn’t in as bad a condition as she thought? Maybe she’d only reacted that way as a response to any damage to her eyes - Launch almost couldn’t help herself anymore, doing a complete 180 from mere seconds previous, where she vowed to never even attempt to open her eyelids again. Hesitantly, the bottle blonde released the pressure forcing her lids closed, and felt a faint horizon of light fill her view.
It was agonizing.
With fresh pain, she howled once more, though something felt different about her screams than the last time. In fact, something still felt different about her. That strange feeling of her mouth being full had been accompanied by this tickling, tingling feeling all along her jaw and throat, and that tingling had returned in this fresh scream. There was no sense of fullness in her face, but if she could find anything to describe the experience, it was almost as though her arm had fallen asleep... but it was her neck that had the tingling. Had her... neck... fallen asleep?
Regardless, as the last bit of oxygen faded from her, Launch knew that she had to find some way to - well, not win this fight, anymore; there was no longer a scenario where the human saw victory in any sense of the word. However, if she could at least hold this thing back long enough for her to be able to escape with her life, she promised herself that she would never again allow someone to bully and dismay her in this way.
No more would she be the plaything of the superpowers of the universe.
With her face tingling, her arms sore, and hot tears (please, don’t be blood) streaming down her cheeks, Launch once again swung her axes, though this time there was no strategy to them. Once more, the human was forced to wave her arms wildly, too blinded to see anything, and only able to sense the immense pressure of the android in front of her - as though the red-headed monstrosity had his own gravitational pull, letting her know deep in her gut roughly where he was at all times.
Maybe it would be a good thing if the cops get here; they could at least take her to a hospital after this was all over and get her properly fixed up. Actions:

Colonel Crimson maintained a vigilant watch over the unfolding battle, his discerning eyes peering through the lenses of the android's optics. His appreciation for the blonde fighter's indomitable spirit and combat prowess only grew with each passing moment. Her unyielding determination was nothing short of impressive, and her martial skills eclipsed those of their run-of-the-mill soldiers.
"Perhaps, when this tumultuous battle concludes," the Colonel mused softly, his thoughts given voice, "I shall extend an invitation to her, to join our ranks." His voice resonated with a touch of admiration. However, there was little time for idle thoughts as he swiftly pivoted to his role as the strategist. "But for now, Android 16, it is imperative that we conclude this swiftly. Do not prolong this confrontation any further," he ordered, his tone laced with authority. Leaning back comfortably in his opulent chair, he opted for the comfort of his secluded office, content to oversee the battle from a distance.
The mechanical behemoth acknowledged the command with a subtle nod, his focus unwavering as Launch surged forward once more, though this time her assault carried an air of desperation. Her reliance on sight had been compromised, yet her unwavering determination was a testament to her character.
Refusing to become a target once more, Android 16 executed a graceful leap backward, narrowly evading the reckless swing of her weapon as it sliced through the air with unchecked fervour. Her erratic behaviour made predicting her moves a formidable challenge. Still, Android 16's calculations persisted, as he gauged Launch's advancing position. The axe swung a second time, providing him with a fleeting opportunity. With preternatural agility, he sidestepped the lethal arc, narrowly avoiding it by the slimmest of margins.
In one seamless motion, the android lunged forward, his massive frame coiling like a spring. His hand shot out to seize Launch's forearm, a vice-like grip taking hold. Pivoting lithely on one foot, he executed a swift, graceful rotation, aiming to hurl the determined warrior over his towering form. The culmination of his manoeuvre would result in her crashing mercilessly into the unyielding ground, with enough force to fracture it.
Prior attempts to unleash this devastating attack had proven futile; Launch had evaded its destructive path with a calculated finesse that spoke volumes of her skill. However, the tides of battle had shifted, and the circumstances now favoured the cybernetic guardian. He perceived this moment as the opportune time to bring this fierce confrontation to an end.
With the swiftness of a predator closing in on its prey, Android 16 descended with remarkable agility, his bulk descending like a meteor towards Launch. His intention was clear: a forceful strike aimed squarely at her midsection. As he plummeted earthward, his artificial sinews and mechanical components whirred with precision, amplifying his speed and power.
In a swift and fluid motion, he unfurled his massive hand, channelling an astronomical surge of ki energy into its core. The intensity of this process caused his artificial skin to sizzle and heat, an eerie glow emanating from beneath. With his hand now a seething conduit of raw energy, Android 16 unleashed the torrent of ki with unbridled ferocity.
The luminous surge of energy surged forth, an unrelenting and voracious force directed squarely at Launch. Its sheer power threatened to overwhelm her defences, illuminating the battlefield with its malevolent brilliance. In this climactic moment, Android 16 had orchestrated a symphony of destruction, aiming to end the confrontation with one swift motion.
"Concede defeat, Launch," Android 16's voice resonated with a cold, mechanical precision, a stark contrast to the chaotic aftermath of his devastating attack. In the wake of the explosion, the air was filled with swirling clouds of acrid smoke and billowing debris, obscuring the battlefield in an ashen shroud.
The mechanical guardian stood resolute, his immense frame unwavering amidst the chaos, his crimson eyes locked on the epicentre of the aftermath. His voice, though devoid of human inflection, carried a weight of authority that commanded attention.
As the lingering haze began to slowly dissipate, revealing the extent of the destruction, Android 16 continued his sombre ultimatum. "You have fought admirably," he conceded, a peculiar acknowledgment of respect emanating from the cold, artificial depths of his being. "But if you do not concede now," he warned, his words laden with a chilling gravity, "I will be left with no alternative but to resort to lethal measures."
The battlefield bore the scars of their relentless clash, a testament to the unyielding resolve of both combatants. In this pivotal moment, the choice rested squarely upon Launch's shoulders, a decision that would determine the course of this fierce encounter.

As she swung the second ax, Launch felt a breeze touch her face - the gentlest tickle of wind to let her know that something was flying over her head. In the same moment, she realized that her weapon had found nothing, and a horrible realization hit her. There was no time to react; all she could do was accept her fate as she felt one of the android’s hands grab her, large enough to hold her entire forearm with ease. The human’s feet were ripped from the earth, and with a surprisingly graceful backflip, she was tossed through the night air, tumbling over herself several times in the brief instant.
Crack!
The asphalt had given no resistance whatsoever, shattering under the pressure that she’d slammed into it with. Launch could feel bits of jagged road jutting into her sides, bruising and scratching her all over. It felt like being swaddled tightly by a blanket covered in small spikes. She could hardly imagine the type of beating her body was taking - the human had never been in a conflict so vicious before... at least, not one where she was on the backfoot, anyway. She wheezed with every breath, high pitched whistles coming out with her exhales, but she managed to gulp enough oxygen down anyway to focus on the one thing she needed to: protecting herself. Still holding the axes in her hands, she crossed her arms around her abdomen, knowing that the robot would likely focus on hitting her center of mass more than anything else. That’s what the police academy had taught her, for the two weeks she’d tried it.
Thankfully, Launch had accurately predicted the android’s next move, and her arms managed to protect her guts from receiving that nasty body shot waiting for her. They shook from holding the automaton back, but she didn’t have to fight for long. Rather than continue to try to push her deeper and deeper into the ground, the robot backed off for a moment. This didn’t trick Launch into losing her focus, though; she was in a critical situation, and no matter how strange the robot’s actions were, she was going to continue to assume she was in danger until she’d been convinced otherwise - probably by the deactivation of that thing. Once more, Launch tried to open her eyes and take in her surroundings, but she still found it unable to do so without excruciating pain. She was only able to see a flash of bright white light in front of her.
Wait...
She’d seen a white flash of light before, just a few seconds ago. This thing was going to shoot the laser beam at her again! There was no way she could protect herself, since she didn’t have the strength - or wiggle room - to hold back that energy beam again. A crazy idea hit her mind, though; one just insane enough to maybe work. There was no time to think it over, and Launch was always a ‘grab life by the horns’ type of person, anyway. Quickly (and maybe a bit not carefully enough, in retrospect) Launch jabbed both of her weapons into the street, pulling upward when she did so. A thick, heavy piece of material came up, jammed between the two axes.
Perfect!
Not having any clue how much time she had left, Launch plopped it back on the ground. The instant she did so, though, the human stretched out her crumpled legs and felt the soles of her feet press against the slab of asphalt. She pressed her shoulders deeper into the small crater that had formed around her and readied herself. She now had a slab of rock as a makeshift shield, her feet holding it up, and her two weapons on the sides adding extra protection. When the beam hit, her body would press further into the road, keeping her from going anywhere. It was about as MacGyver as it got, but the human had nothing, and the plan wasn’t half bad for the situation she was in.
The energy slammed into the block of asphalt, and she immediately felt her knees and ankles begin to beg for reprieve, bending against her will from just how much velocity the energy had in its attack. The street held up for what it was, not pushing Launch away, but the pain shooting up her legs through her body made the blonde’s eyes fly open despite everything, and she stared wide eyed at the splashes of white-hot plasma rebounding off her defenses. It almost looked like a pure white waterfall; there was beauty in it, even as her blood ran cold with fear.
Death was staring her in the face, and it wore a neon green jacket.
As suddenly as it started, though, it was over, and Launch struggled to get to her feet. A quick glance at the slab of stone revealed that it was almost half melted from the heat of the attack, and Launch wobbled a bit, half from dizziness and half from nausea. She was a bank robber, not a superhero! What on Earth was going on? She’d just been trying to enjoy herself out on the town and this complete stranger had flown in specifically to murder her!
“Concede defeat, Launch.”
Right! She’d forgotten! It knew her name, too, somehow, so this definitely wasn’t random. It was a coordinated attack, based on her own level of power, to wipe her off the map. That was when she finally realized what that red bow was... it was Red Ribbon. This Bionicles type ginger freak was made by those army clowns she used to beat up on! Talk about revenge.
“You have fought admirably,” he began, and Launch slowly took in what had happened to the environment around them: the disgusting crater in the Earth she’d created with her body; the red and white lights of a nearby ambulance approaching; the smoke tendrils all around them lazily floating to the sky; the faint cacophony of people asking for ways to help her; there were even a handful of police officers already on scene with their guns drawn at the both of them. The android continued speaking, and Launch wiped her forehead and glanced at the back of her palm. Scarlet. She had a head gash. Despite the noise, her mind seemed to dampen all sound, leaving just a faint, high pitched whine as her brain sped up to fully understand the consequences of her actions.
She could give up now and hand herself over to the authorities for medical assistance. Nobody would blame her, not even herself. Clearly, this titan was designed to take her down, and there was no shame in someone being unprepared for a fight, as long as they were willing to accept their mistakes and learn from them.
She could try to run. That might be the best option, considering her warrants, but even the thought of trying to flee on foot made her feet burn with anger. Oh, right. Launch gently kicked her heels off as the android finished speaking, and the hard, sharp edges of the asphalt felt like angel’s kisses compared to trying to do a deathmatch in high heels.
“...lethal measures.”
Launch sucked in her mouth and shot a wad of blood mixed with spittle out onto the street. Lethal measures, huh? The human glanced down at her hands and clicked a small button on the sides of her ax handles; quickly, they shrank to the size of capsules, and she quietly tucked them into her bra, keeping one eye on the android in case he grew impatient.
She could feel her mind begging her to leave; hell, she could feel her body begging her to stop. The problem was Launch was being controlled by her rage at that moment. Looking up at that stupid vomit-colored jacket, all she felt was blind hatred. The fear wasn’t gone, nor was the pain, but was gone was her sense of self-preservation. All she wanted was to destroy whatever that thing was in front of her, and then put down every last member of the RRA that she could find for daring to come after her.
She wiped a loose hair from her face, before telling the android with a smile to go do something incredibly vulgar to himself. That was it, and she started running. The blonde curled her right hand into a fist, so tight that she was worried her nails would break skin; she was going to smash his smug face in and take it home as a trophy. As she got closer, the human hauled off in preparation, before jumping, flying horizontally the rest of the way towards him as she threw her arm forward. At the last second, Launch noticed her fist was glowing with some emerald light; it kind of reminded her of the same look her hands had when she touched lava lamps.
She only saw it for a moment, before she followed through with the punch. Her feet touched the ground - marginally less gracefully than earlier in the night - and with ragged breaths, she began trying to bring the fight into a close-quarters conflict, planning to rely on her self-defense classes, (brief) academy training, and experience street brawling to try and get any advantage she could. RP Award: Android 16 ↓ Breakdown ↓ It was really difficult to give the RP reward out this time. You guys are both incredible writers, and I admire you both, but... well, just read.
Android 16 Post 1: Immediately, *chef's kiss* - you did exactly what I hoped you would do, and you brought me atmosphere, and more dialogue! I loved the description of the passerbys, the way they took their phones out, etc. It really brought life into it. Do have to say that your tone still sounds a bit more battle focused, but I love the improvements.
Post 2: You pretty much fixed the first complaint that I had about your post, but I can definitely sense you trying to slip back into being more battle hungry again - once again, maybe this is just me, but I really like the atmosphere that Launch shows in her posts. Your first post showed the right balance of introspection, atmosphere, dialogue, and battle. I think you're getting it, you're doing really well, but you begin to slip again back into that lust for battle - which is fine - it's DBZ, after all.
Post 3: Almost yelled and woke Launch's mun up when I read the beginning of your third post! This is what I've been waiting for!!!! I wanted to see who was behind Android 16, being the puppeteer, and now we have a name! I got super duper excited, but then got a little sad when you didn't give the actual motive - I get the notion that maybe Crimson wants to recruit Launch, but you didn't make that super clear, so I was a sad girl. I also really enjoyed this line:
Honestly, this post may be your best one yet, and this is why I decided to give you the RP reward.
TLDR; You started off with good atmosphere, sunk a bit in your second post, then the third post gave me a great blend of battle, atmosphere, and dialogue. Loved it. That's why you got the RP reward.
Launch
Post 1: I'm def gonna sound biased, but I really love your writing. It's honestly just- it's great. The only complaint I have is the "wannabe Transformer" line - I don't know why it took me out, but maybe it was just that I couldn't imagine the Transformers movies in the DBZ universe, lol. Otherwise, beautiful as always.
Post 2: I love how you described what she was going through as far as her pain - but I feel like you might have overdone it slightly. I think that of course, someone would only be able to focus on pain in reality, but it felt very... excessive. Does that make sense? After a bit, it felt like it kind of dragged on and you were just rambling, and I had to refocus into the story again. Try not to go off on a tangent, keep pain descriptors short and sweet if you can.
Post 3: You know I love your writing, babes, but I think you need to add more moxie to your attacks. Give me more, idk... grit. I feel like your Launch is focusing a lot on her pain, and like I said with Post 2, that's fine - but, you need to know when to not focus so much on the pain aspect. At this point, homegirl is probably dead with how much pain she's in, or her blood pressure is higher than the sun. Regardless, you're amazing with your writing - as usual.
TLDR; You ramble a lot! Try to find the right balance.
You're also a great writer and have no business being as good as you are, k thx bye.

The aftermath of the brutal attack left Launch in a sorry state. She rose from the dusty and debris-strewn ground, a figure battered and bloodied, bearing visible marks of her relentless confrontation with Android 16. Her face and body bore testament to the unforgiving onslaught she had endured. The anguish etched across her features was undeniable, a mix of pain, determination, and a resolute refusal to submit to the looming defeat that threatened her.
It was a perplexing sight. Whether her unyielding spirit stemmed from an overflowing well of courage or a reckless defiance of the odds, one couldn't say for sure. But one thing was evident: Launch was not going down without a ferocious struggle. The mechanical guardian had initially hoped that the arrival of the police and the blaring sirens, coupled with the flashing lights of emergency vehicles, would serve as a distraction. Yet, her unwavering focus remained steadfast, as if she had developed tunnel vision, blocking out the tumultuous scene unfolding around her.
If Launch remained obstinate in her refusal to concede, Android 16 harboured no reservations about resorting to extreme measures to establish his dominance. As the indomitable woman hurled herself at him once more, Android 16's sensors took note of her glowing hand, a manifestation of her ki energy channelled into her strike, an attempt to amplify its potency. The android pondered why she hadn't displayed more of this formidable power earlier. Was it a matter of learning to harness her inner energy, or had she grown overly reliant on her arsenal of weapons? In any case, such musings were inconsequential now.
Anticipating the imminent threat, Android 16 acted swiftly, raising his colossal arms to form an impregnable guard that covered the majority of his midsection. As Launch's strike connected, the collision unleashed a formidable explosion of energy, forcing the mechanical sentinel back a couple of feet as he skidded across the unforgiving ground. The sheer force behind her blow was nothing short of impressive, given her stature.
Staying within close quarters with the android, Launch maintained her relentless assault, evidently concerned about his potential ranged attacks. However, the cybernetic guardian seized control of the situation. With calculated precision, he led with a swift jab and a powerful cross aimed at her bloodied face. Then, seamlessly transitioning to her midsection, he unleashed a flurry of strikes, twisting his body to infuse each left and right hook with maximum power. The relentless barrage continued as he swayed and pivoted, executing a left uppercut that targeted her chin, followed by a crushing right hook to the side of her face.
Android 16 was a relentless force in the midst of the heated melee. Whether the final right hook connected with Launch's face or not, he harnessed the momentum of his strike, utilising it to his advantage. In a fluid, almost balletic motion, he swung himself around, his massive form spinning through the air with impressive grace. His extended leg sliced through the atmosphere like a lethal blade, targeting the vulnerable side of Launch's ribs.
But Android 16 was far from finished. With a seamless transition, he landed gracefully on the same foot that had attempted the initial strike, using it as a pivot point to swing himself around once more. The tremendous momentum carried him forward, and he unleashed a masterful roundhouse kick, cleaving through the air towards the upper section of Launch’s arm, hoping that a broken arm would cease her desire to fight.
