As Cauli tried to look around she’d get the gist that there were people, and a bunch of them and that it seemed somewhat safe now as the panic was starting to die down, but the pounding in her head got her very little insight besides where there was less noise to amplify that pounding. The closest Riki and Cauli were going to get to someplace quiet was the edge of the school that had the most buildings left of it. The sound from the people inside was dampened by the remaining walls, and people were still a bit of distance from it.
The man Lemon approached stopped for her, taking in the two wounded girls with a sense of pessimism, likely not expecting any of them to survive at this point. Two more wounded just added to that sense of finality. But Riki helped Cauli away from the people.
”Looks like they don’t want help,” he said with a frown, his gaze dragging over Lemon’s tail. He knew to be skeptical of other Saiyans at this point, but couldn’t deny the help either, especially with the humans already so weary of them, some after also learning the hard way that some were out for blood. ”If you two want to help ain’t nobody stopping you,” he offered, pointing around to the weakest spot in the current formation.
”There’s no sign of any Saiyan energy signatures, but those blasted stone monsters don’t have readings at all, and blend right in with the rubble. We can’t send blasts at suspected areas or it’ll attract more. That explosion is probably going to draw them in too, we can only hope they throw themselves inside it.”
As Yua scanned the camp she’d be able to get a pretty good read on things. The interference below the surface seemed to be amplified in some way. Now that she was above, she could sense a lot more clearly, and her scouter seemed mostly in order again. There was still a bit of interference, but it seemed these skills would be much more beneficial up here than choked out as they were below.
There were about thirty one life forms in this camp not counting Riki, Lemon, Cauli or herself. All of them had injuries, either from the original explosion or the fallout after. There were four that were in very bad condition being treated as best they could in the makeshift aid station, and another four that were injured enough they couldn’t really help out very well, though they were out of mortal danger. Only five had wounds that were purely superficial, while the other fourteen trudged through with broken bones or heavily bandaged wounds, fighting through the pain to either help in any way they could, knowing their survival depended on it, or run panicked trying to find some new place to go that might have some safety.
The fourteen of the helpers were split somewhat evenly, with the Saiyan guard trying to set a perimeter with less people, but more speed and strength than the humans even though they were all part of the fourteen, and the aid station having more people.
The last two of these life forms were still in the destruction sphere where the humans were looking for survivors, but their condition was in an extremely critical state that this aid station would not be able to handle.
If they headed to the area the Saiyan pointed them in, they’d be able to see out into the ruined city, but as the Saiyan said, the ground seemed to randomly move in areas, and there was no telling what was moving it. They might be in for a large scale attack, or the energy around them might be simply disrupting the already damaged earth. They’d have to investigate more.
After Riki finished with Cauli, to what effect remained to be seen, Riki’s sharp eyes searched the ruins. She found similar movements as the Saiyan had described, but to her it would seem like the wind, or whatever else, was pushing the movement in one direction.

As Tarble latched back onto consciousness, he was able to flee in time before the shadows, or the storm got to him. The timing was precise, as any longer and he would have fallen, but it gave him time to eat the precious sensu bean as the creature focused on his nephew. Ghast on the other hand’s barrier grew more and more feeble until it absolutely shattered causing the howling winds to explode against his flesh, slicing into it where it could as it tried to crush him into the ground. But he held his block and the winds eventually faded into the thick oily monster. Gotenks tried to flee, but he didn’t seem to grasp the type of attack well. He dodged a tentacle, a tendril of shadow, when it was a thick overwhelming total darkness that expanded out over the battlefield, leaving him a very limited ability to escape. A single touch would pull him into the depths and that was what it managed to do. He too would feel his legs slashed by the winds, a crushing force trying to pull him into the dark depths of pain, but he was able to fight it off enough to escape in time to be peppered with a show of blasts. These he managed to regain his footing on at least until one of the spiky tendrils managed to grab hold of him. He had a plan. He probably had a good plan. Dr. Ghast did not care about that plan. Before Gotenks could escape, let alone dish out his attack, the monstrous doctor unleashed hell upon the Eldritch Monster, or at least he tried to. Deciding not to fool around anymore, he put a great deal of faith in his attack, terribly confident that this one blast would ruin the creature and his momentary allies. This was not the place to expect anything so normal, so common. Once more the shadows swarmed over the creature, but noticeable for the scientist he’d see that it was protecting a very specific section of its massive body. It let its tendrils, and Gotenks for that matter, be blasted to bits, but the attack did not do as much damage as he would have hoped, as much damage as this attack would do on a normal battlefield. This wasn’t to say it hadn’t damage the creature, it just was still far from enough. And, for all this, Gotenks was knocked unconscious, stopping his attack in its tracks, meaning Ghast’s attempts to end this battle had drastically blown up in his face as the other allies he had who were up to fighting fled from him rather than man the storm. Well, even more than that, while the creature’s attacks had been, potentially noticeably all massive area attacks or targeted specifically at the two royals, Ghast had irritated it, and it showed. Dark energy began to pool around that center mass the creature had protected, sparks of negative energy releasing from it before a huge beam of dark energy exploded out from it attempting to completely engulf the reckless doctor. That didn’t mean it had forgotten its true targets however, its limbs regrowing and stretching with unnatural speed and shape. It shot first at Tarble who dared shout at it after almost dying, sending a barbed shadow out at him. It tried to pierce into his body, but even as it did the whole limb expanded like a slime, trying to engulf him with a cushing weight. Whether the fused Saiyan came back to his senses or not, a new arm stretched out and tried to wrap around him, using crushing strength as it tried to drag the boy’s wounded body through the ruined earth. The shadows had begun to grow again. Like before, it was like something had exploded sending plumes of smoke, soot, and ash into the air. A poof, and then it expanded rapidly, shrouding the whole battle field in dark energy. It gripped like gravity itself had slammed down upon them, pulling anything it touched towards or into the darkness where only a storm resided. Slicing winds cut through every piece of it like a thousand razor blades, with sparks of negative energy exploding inside to send even more crushing waves in all directions. If they were dragged inside, and a single touch was pulling them, the darkness threatening to reach to the barrier itself, it would not be a pleasant experience.
Vlad and EP-3, well, there was a limited ability to escape, and Vlad decided to go in the opposite direction to the shadows' dangerous expansion across the horizon and into the sky. He went below. Feeling Ghast’s intentions and knowing he and his student could not withstand two vicious attacks, he fled the attack and accidentally fled the battle. Vlad’s Tri-Beam dug deep, but when Vlad and EP-3 jumped down into it they’d find themselves falling down through the hole Vlad had created, when it suddenly opened to reveal a large cavern. They touched chilly air compared to the stuffed hole, and then Ghast’s attack went off. The earth they had just plowed through shook, sending more earth down into the cavern, quickly filling up their entry as the ground slid and moved with the impact. If they didn’t change trajectory, they’d fall back into the hole Vlad’s Tri-Beam had dug. It reached the cavern and kept going, so they could move out of the path, or find themselves another dozen feet below the room they passed. There didn’t seem to be another tunnel below, so it was pretty much a dead end. The battle was still raging on above, and with their supernatural abilities they could probably once more break through to the surface to aid their friends, or they could figure out what was going on below. If they chose to instead investigate where they had fallen they’d see that the cavern was actually man made, and made a very long time ago. Despite that, the walls were extremely sturdy in this area, as if they had been reinforced. The room wasn’t extremely spacious, maybe the size of a wealthy person’s sitting room. Two of the corners were filled with wooden crates, their contents unknown unless they broke into them. Darkness was no problem for the two androids, and they’d notice the room had three exits, though one had a very dim light coming from it. While they felt a good deal of interference to their scouters and communications above, it was nothing compared to how bad it was down here. Their scouters and senses were completely jammed, showing random spikes of energy only for them to disappear a second later, and just a jumble of convoluted signals. There was something blocking it on a technical level, but there was also something else, an energy in the room that felt unnatural and overbearing. Something was afoot in this place.

As Shell checked the passage he’d find it really wasn’t much of a passage and more of a blown up hole. Looking down would show that it was at least a thirty foot drop. Humans without any ability to fly would have no hope of returning to the surface from this passage. One side of it was caved in, while the other led into the tunnels they had been in before. Any survivors had likely gone that way, though there were traces of blood about, suggesting the party was definitely injured.
Checking the Saiyan bodies revealed to Towa that they were definitely victims of the slashy hacky golems. They were dressed as one might expect someone who belonged in the summit might be with armor underneath their clothes. Apparently they had managed to infiltrate the summit before going on with their attacks. Unfortunately, they held no communicators or anything that might give her knowledge to the cult--likely in case they were discovered, but they did have trackers on them with video and potentially sound taking capabilities.
As Towa checked the body of the pop star she’d see without a doubt that she had been killed with slash marks that fell in line with the golem claws she had seen thus far, though she also had some blast injuries as well. This might suggest that the Saiyan cultists who invaded the summit had managed to get a few hits in before the golems arrived. It was likely that one of them had set off the first explosion while his allies rushed the place to give their additional allies more time to move the Saiyan prince. They went after the survivors, but were ultimately victims to the golems as well.
Were the cultists now aware of what would happen when their plan was set into motion? Were the foot soldiers just not important enough to warn?
On the pop star was a tablet. The screen was cracked, but would turn on if she attempted it. Surprisingly however, instead of a goofy tablet the celebrity might have done toktiks on, accessing the data on the tablet put her up against some major encryption. AURORA might be able to hack into this as well.
AURORA’s counter attempts to hack met more pushback. She was in a little ongoing war between another advanced system, but she was able to crack through enough to find images of a building. The building was where the prince had been taken to, but there wasn’t an address nor did it show much of the surrounding areas. She could keep trying to hack, or use her abilities to try and find the building in another way.
It seemed a little odd considering the number of bodies that had been left here via golem attacks. The Saiyans were likely powerful and a number of the people at the summit had above average power levels, including the pop star, so there had to be a large number of them swarming the place, but now there were none lurking around at all? It hadn’t been that long, though it was possible they had moved north to the battle Shell had decided to ignore. That was definitely drawing energy…
But no, that would be far too easy. As they investigated the summit, they’d feel movement to the south. Big movement, something exceptionally large and uncoordinated. It tried absolutely nothing to hide itself giving them plenty of time to see its approach, though it wasn’t very far at all: a huge golem monster not only fused together by that magma but by multiple golems. It was a grotesque monster that was looked more like a four legged animal than a human though it seemed to be able to stand on two legs without much issue. It was moving towards them, and fast.

The cockiness in the Elite seemed to fade as the two boys danced through his attacks like weasels in that carnival game. It was very clearly a two versus one right now, and each boy was on what was considered a fairly high power level for this time period. Eight years ago before Beerus had disrupted the power scale, one point six million was the highest people saw outside of masters, and that was one man. The other power players sat at only eight hundred million, if that. The boy was going to be a challenging opponent, but he had his own ace up his sleeve, his own power beyond this time period. It at least surpassed the split boy.
The first strike landed, as the feint did its job while the soldier did his best to get the hang of the pacing of the two boys, causing a momentary slow down he recovered quickly from. The next strike was also paired well, but he lifted his arms high to block the slicing kick, the force of it pushing him towards the wall. He seemed to be falling actually, maybe the job had been done! But now the man ducked through, throwing himself swiftly into a wide sweeping kick with all his strength pushed into it. The corridor was small enough he could aim for both the boys, aiming right at their ankles with the force of a spinning razor blade, the sound of it cutting through the air just like one.
Rising, he immediately jumped into a kick, attempting to slam his foot down towards the clone’s chest with the force of a two ton weight, trying to knock him back into the battle Kale was having, before landing low to the ground once more. Like an animal, he pounced from there his arm pulled back in a wide but extremely fast blow meant to drive into the other’s Gohan’s abdomen, throwing his whole body into it as he rose, trying to once more slam the boy into the tunnel itself, the ceiling in this case, obviously not caring too much if the place further collapsed.
Kale’s Saiyan surprisingly packed a punch. He was a stand out mob character who apparently had dice fists of steel, and that first punch was brutal while the third kicked into her poorly taken guard hard as hell. Meanwhile Kale’s first set of strikes almost missed. Certain gods seemed unhappy, but the kick landed well, successfully throwing the man back.
He was a soldier though, and he recovered quickly with a step back that quickly turned into a spring step forward. He sent a much more powerful punch towards her body, aiming to drill her into the opposite wall, pressing in as he did. Whether he hit or not, his body moved in a meticulously trained fashion to swiftly send another sharp as glass strike towards her face this time, trying to disrupt the rhythm he set in attacking her body so many times first. He followed through with another step in, ducking in low to drive an uppercut high into her gut, aiming to send her to the ceiling up with Gohan.

Watching Wriggle’s molting body change was enough to disgust a strong stomach, if one could get by how horrifying it was. There was a book series that said every single transformation from human to animal how exactly traumatizing it was, and how they never grew used to it. Such a thing could apply to Wriggle, and just might as the battle in this city carried on. As it was, the Saiyans had only a short time to truly revel in it, before the strongest of the stooges was splattered across the battlefield.
That was enough to turn this into a true horror film, as the two remaining stooges tried to escape, even if it meant by crawling only to easily be struck down by the bug, feeling like they were dying four times before the final non-illusion blow struck.
The other two had immediately given up on their search for Nach at the sound of Wriggle impact with the first stooge, turning to see the explosion of flesh. Their eyes widened and they took off in a speedy run almost immediately. These were the Saiyans that had charged Nelgae at the beginning, but they had seen enough monsters for the day. Something in their spirits broke, and they ran like cowards, though they could not get very far with Wriggle’s blood lust fixed upon them.
Her many legged rampage caught up to them in seconds, and the first of the newer Saiyans was dealt with, as the nicest way to put it, before she moved onto the last Saiyan standing. She took that moment to bask, and the woman Saiyan turned knowing she couldn’t escape. Turning she planted her feet, throwing her arms over her head to try and protect it from Wriggle’s massive jaw stretching over her like she was merely a piece of fruit she wanted to bite into. The bug’s fangs crushed into her arms, stopping her from being completely devoured but this left her body open, and her overall damage piled over. She tried to fight, but her strength left her, and she was literally eaten alive.
Things settled down and Hertz ran off inspecting things while the Klaxxi warrior’s eyes darted around, catching on the Saiyan remains. The robot was the first to find a Saiyan with a heart intact, which he was able to take if he so wanted, or point it out to someone else. Hertz seemed to be repetitively hoarding Nelgae’s food as the bug was only able to find some decent brain matter.
Yan meanwhile took the time to be a responsible thief and looked over Nach’s body. The Saiyan didn’t have a lot that wasn’t destroyed, but the grave robber in him told him to check in his clothes. In doing so, he would find a map of the city. It wasn’t labeled but it had the summit marked off, as well as where he had sensed the Saiyan along with two other locations. One northwest of them, while the other was south of the summit close to the barrier’s edge on that side of town. He hadn’t pinpointed where that earthquake had been caused but it was definitely to the south somewhere. The Saiyan Congregation was very close to the middle of the city, so it would be a new trek in either direction.
However, they might be worth looking into. As Yan searched to see if any Saiyans were approaching he would find that it was quite the opposite. The Saiyan congregation had moved. Was it Wriggle’s massive attack that did it? Judging from the distance, it was probably Anna’s Bakuhatsuha. Even if she was able to call herself an ally to the Saiyans, however briefly, the men in charge of things didn’t know of any ally being that enhanced, and with all the monsters floating around they weren’t equipped for, it was better they play safe than sorry.
He could try and search for them more intently, or someone could, but he couldn’t get an exact fix in all the chaos.

The Lost Prince 956/3,059 The battlefield's area became engulfed in an eerie hue of dark blue energy. Tarble remained motionless, his gaze fixed down the road ahead, his fist clenched with unwavering resolve coursing through his veins. Despite the detonations echoing around him, the lost prince maintained his stoic composure, not yielding a fraction to the chaos surrounding him. “I seem to always yell out with statements that put a target on my back. I need to back those words up… and now is the time to show what I can do now”
The moment had arrived for the lost prince to brace himself for the impending confrontation with the creature. With vigilant eyes, Tarble observed as the creature regenerated one of its limbs, hurling it towards the Saiyan prince. Squinting, Tarble's mind raced back to the last encounter with this formidable attack, recalling its potency with a sense of urgency. -----Flashback---- The lost prince visualized himself grappling with the tentacle, straining to restrain its formidable strength with both hands. But despite his efforts, his left arm faltered, unable to withstand the overwhelming force, and he was mercilessly hurled backward, crashing into the structure behind him. ----Present----- "Well, it seems you haven't learned any new tricks since I last departed. Let's see if this one works, although I had reserved it for my encounter with the doctor," Tarble murmured quietly as he spread his legs apart. With fists clenched before him, the lost prince initiated a primal roar, focusing intently on his technique. As the earth trembled beneath him, Tarble divided himself into two entities. His Deca-form began charging his fists engulfing them with ki energy. Locking eyes with his Deca-Form, Tarble nodded in silent understanding. “I know this will work”
As the tentacle lunged forth in its aggressive advance to ensnare the lost prince, his Deca-form swiftly darted towards it, leaping into the air with precision. Tarble pivoted sharply to his right, aligning himself perfectly to face the oncoming creature. As the Deca-form closed in on the tentacle, a thunderous cry erupted from the Deca-Form’s lips, "BLAST PUNCH!" With all his might, he propelled his fist towards the tentacle, aiming to slam it forcefully into the nearby building. Tarble gracefully shifted his hands to the right, simultaneously bending his left knee while sliding his right knee forward, anchoring himself firmly to the earth. With hands poised at his sides and fingertips extended, he commenced channeling his ki energy, embodying the essence of the one true king. In seamless synchronization with Tarble's onslaught, his Deca-form roared, "SERAFIN PUNCH!" With determination blazing in its eyes, the duplicate thrust its left hand forward, aiming to propel the tentacle deeper into the structure. The battleground quivered as the lost prince found himself shrouded in a luminous azure aura, his power ascending to unprecedented heights. Debris scattered around them trembled and disintegrated into fragments under the influence of his burgeoning energy. Between the prince's palms, a radiant orb of white-blue ki materialized, crackling with intensity. “I HAVE to be able to control this attack…. I know I can do it. I have to work way harder than anyone’s here to succeed”
-----Flash back----- Master Roshi observed from his window as the lost prince labored tirelessly on the beach, grappling with the intricacies of his special technique. After a full day of training, it was evident to the master that Tarble was nearing exhaustion. Stepping outside and approaching the weary prince, Master Roshi gently remarked, "I believe that's plenty of training for today. Come inside, replenish yourself with some food and rest. Tomorrow is another day, and remember, rest is just as crucial for youth as training."
Beads of sweat cascaded down the sides of the lost prince's face, his hands extended before him, palms upturned, visibly trembling with exertion. Gathering his composure, Tarble cleared his throat before addressing Master Roshi with a deliberate tone, "Master... what qualities must one possess to be deemed a hero?"
A knowing smirk graced Master Roshi's lips as he imparted his wisdom, "Being a hero isn't solely determined by strength or speed. It's about embracing your inner self and persevering in the face of adversity, no matter how daunting the challenges may seem." With that, he turned on his heel and walked away, leaving Tarble to ponder the profound truth of his words. Tarble inclined his head thoughtfully before speaking, "Do you think... I could become a hero someday?" Master Roshi halted mid-stride, hands clasped behind his back, and cast his gaze skyward. "You'll realize it when the time comes," he remarked cryptically before resuming his path towards the house, leaving Tarble to contemplate the enigmatic words. -----Present----- As Tarble continued to channel his energy for the impending assault, he observed the surroundings darkening, engulfed by billowing clouds of smoke, soot, and ash. The crackling of lightning overhead signaled the impending onslaught from the monstrous foe. The ki ball nestled within his palms swelled with intensity, poised for the decisive strike. Just as Tarble prepared to unleash his attack, his Deca-form swooped down, merging seamlessly with him. Amidst the anticipation, echoes of voices from his Saiyan heritage reverberated through his mind, a poignant reminder of his past. “You will always be a weakling…” “HA… one of the prince’s born with the lowest power level” “King Vegeta: “You’ll never amount to anything in this universe if you continue to act like this” "I WILL SHOW THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE WHAT MY STRENGTH IS!" Tarble's voice reverberated with unyielding determination. With a forceful thrust, he extended both hands before him, wrists interlocked and fingertips tightly clasped against his palms. "KAMEHAMEHA!" he bellowed, unleashing a searing beam aimed directly at the monstrous adversary. Simultaneously, a bolt of shadowy lightning streaked towards the lost prince, threatening to strike him down amidst his display of power. Actions MS. The one with whom Cauli shared a temporary connection continued to administer her, much to the Fury's delight. Riki would perhaps have an inkling of the sort of attention that Cauli was paying to her, especially as she peeled back the layers of the demon's mind to try and isolate the connection between her and the barrier. The deeper she look, the more apparent the suffering would become. Cauli was forged from suffering, it was as much her parent as Caulifla and Kale's biological parents were. First there was the embrace of pain, which was Leviathan's favourite plaything aside from Cauli herself and involved excruciating torture by stretching ligaments to their breaking point and beyond before letting the victim rest for just long enough that their ligaments would begin the slow process of knitting back together.
The psychological torture was the worst for Cauli and it was this that would dominate her mind as Riki peered into it. Both forms of trauma were bonding the girl to the suffering of those trapped in the barrier. Riki would find that Cauli had taken their suffering on as her own in a very similar way to the offense she had performed against the Saiyan she had pursued into the building adjacent to the open space where they had first arrived. The shock worked to a point, severing the specific connection between the two but she would find very quickly that Cauli's trauma simply ran too deep to be able to sever the connection completely. Nevetheless, Cauli's mind recovered substantially for Riki's efforts. Her vision cleared and she was able to suppress the effects of the bonded trauma sufficient to be able to look around and even hold a conversation.
Once she was again in control of her faculties, Cauli would seek to remain in the solitude that she and Riki had established but she would regain her feet and project her attention outwards once more. If Yua, Lemon, Riki or any other sufficiently powerful resident of these parts were to discover anything, Cauli would shift her focus from scouting within the camp to assisting wherever she could.

There were many things that Gotenks was expecting in the midst of this gruelling battle, but being taken out by friendly fire certainly wasn’t one of them. Just as the young fused warrior was feeling rather smug with himself, watching his destructive stream of energy shoot towards the centre of the beast, he felt the distinct pressure of a catastrophic blast radiate towards him.
No sooner than he could say “Oh cra-” did the blast collide with him with such intensity that momentarily Gotenks lost consciousness.
Moments later, the spiky-haired Saiyan felt his eyes flutter open, a pounding headache accompanying him, along with bruises and scrapes throbbing all over his body. Gotenks clutched at the battered ground, using whatever strength he had left to crawl away from the monster they’d been fighting, hoping to get just far enough away he’d be out of the beast’s line of fire.
Breathing heavily, Gotenks slipped his hand into his pocket, feeling the skin on his arm rub against the debris on the ground, causing more pain to radiate through him. He pulled out a senzu bean and brought it towards his mouth, crunching down on the bean as quickly as possible. Mere seconds later, the fused warrior could feel its effects spread through his body, healing up his prior wound, and making him feel somewhat normal again.
With some of his strength returned, Gotenks pulled himself further forward, hiding behind large pieces of debris to give himself a moment’s respite.
“You’ve gotta be kidding me,” Gotenks said to himself, punching at the ground. “What kind of stupid idiot takes out his own teammates?” He questioned, surmising that an attack that powerful could only have come from Ghast. “Man, what an amateur. Such a rookie mistake,” Gotenks cast his eye out from behind the debris to watch the ensuing battle. “Well, there’s no way I’m helping him now. Serves him right for being such a dweeb,” The youngster looked up at the doctor, his eyes narrowing and brow furrowing. “He’s lucky that I don’t give him a piece of my mind right now, but being the tactical mastermind that I am, I’m not idiotic enough to start messing around,”
Gotenks took another deep breath, trying to get his energy back, before he felt a tentacle swoop in from nowhere. The appendage wrapped around his ankle, pulling him out from behind the debris and back towards the monster.
“Hey! No fair! Leave me alone!” Gotenks screamed, his voice exuding petulance. “Seriously! I wasn’t even doing anything! Get off me you ugly piece of garbage!”
Feeling frustrated, Gotenks shot his arm out to the side, feeling it crackle with energy as his ki wrapped itself around him, extending his arm out into a golden blade. Using his other arm, the young Super Saiyan pushed himself off of the ground with enough force to drive himself forward, cocking bladed arm back before using it to slice through the air, attempting to sever the ties between himself and the tentacle.
And then…another storm.
“Oh, c’mon gimme a break!” Gotenks cried, his face dropping as he watched the creature unleashed another devastating attack, which threatened to envelop everything within the vicinity. “No, no, no, crap, crap, crap!” The youngster said flustered as he buried himself under heaps of rubble, hoping that it would somehow lessen the impact of the blast, whilst simultaneously shielding himself with what energy he had left. The golden sphere illuminated the dark hiding place as the rumblings of the oncoming onslaught drew ever closer.

Nelgae may have been devastated, but even he knew that Wriggle could hold her own at times. Her assault left nearly nothing behind as she ripped and tore through everything in her path. Wriggle truely spun this into a horror scene with saiyan blood and guts all over the place and she ended it all with her jaws around the arm of the very last saiyan and holding her down and eventually eating her alive, the woman’s final screams echoing throughout the immediate area until she had nothing left to scream from.
When she was done feasting, she sat down on her rear and crossed her legs, her body becoming more humane again. Her jaws were still moving, as she chewed the last of the saiyan and out came a cute burp which she stifled with her fingers before giggling a little. Nel approached her asking for forgiveness.
“You survived. Do you have a treat for your Queen, then? A snack for later would suffice.” Her attack beforehand wasn’t kind to just the enemy, it also attacked those who supported her as well and so she sighed.
Her eyes moved over to Yan. “Yan on the other hand, did well. I botched my attack and that elite surely was going to be able to make this alot harder than it needed to be. Good job using Anna as a shield and yourself as a sword. Such good timing, I’m impressed.”
Wriggle would get up and move towards Yan and Anna
Anna grabbed the comm device and she cleared her throat and looked around for a moment. Well, it kinda didn’t matter if this ‘Gurinbiin’ was alive or not. Long as ‘someone’ was alive. Well, it was time to put on her best acting voice and to fit the emotion on her face she looked angry but she hyperventilated to give off the impression that she was slightly spooked -- but she still had saiyan confidence behind it.
“This thing still works, holy shit. H-Hello? Hello!?? All hell’s broken loose,” she would say while moving away from Hertz, in case he made some weird noises. “These creatures… they killed Gurin, damnit!!. Where in the world did all of these creatures and people come from? Is everything okay on your end? Gurinbiin was trying to give us new orders -- well he can’t do that shit anymore,” she said the last part with a pinch of annoyance and spat on the ground.
“So what the hell are we doing now?”
Anna made sure to let go of the transmitter before turning to Yan and the crew and pointing towards where the Saiyan Congregation was supposed to be at. “Let’s check and see what’s there while this guy gets back to us.”
Anna would then hold her hand out to take Yan’s so that she could move on to their location quickly. As she moved, Wriggle would move as well and Anna finally addressed what happened earlier, given this moment of clarity.
“You did some monster stuff. I am not going to lie, it was kind of cool. I was worried that -- the outcome was going to be more troublesome.”
“Well, I’ll be honest. I think that barrier ate a very good portion of my power. Soooo, maybe that kind of saved us a bit,” Wriggle responded while scratching her head. “I chose not to sing though because rage singing is probably worse than blowing everything the fuck up.”
They let the conversation go for the limited time they’d have, also to give Yan some time for input and well -- gotta put what they actually do when they get to the congregation. While the narrator explains what the place looks like, both Anna and Wriggle look around the place to see if they spot anyone or anything that could be valuable.

Post by Dr. Ghast on Mar 22, 2024 8:15:58 GMT -5
No matter how hard he tried, it seemed that this eldritch beast was much more resilient than he had initially thought. Even utilizing a technique which in essense ignored any and all perceived alliances and teamwork had been held down pretty much with little to no visible damage of any sort. In the meantime, the beast seemed more than willing to retaliate once more with full force, this time making it clear in the way it expelled its energy that it had taken notice of the doctor and his antics. Ghast wondered if this was a sign that after all this time he was finally being seen as the most threatening piece on the board or simply the most annoying pest to deal with.
With the battlefield nearly nothing more than the barrier overhead and dust covering the ground, there was much less space to hide or avoid anything the eldritch monstrosity would and most likely could throw towards those still capable of standing on their own two feet and still fighting this beast.
"No...you don't," These words calmly escaped the doctor's mouth and passed through the rebreathing apparatus still barely functional within the torn and shredded helmet he was still wearing. Slowly leaning a bit forwards, as the eldritch beast suddenly allowed a beam of energy toerupt straight into the doctor's direction, Ghast slid his feet apart, making sure he had a sure footing, for when this beam of energy practically reached him, he swung his entire body to the side, forcing himself to make a quarter turn in order to avoid the beam only narrowly as it passed by him at such a small distance that he could not just feel the heat and the force of the energy, but could even smell the damn energy itself. From this new vantage point, the mad scientist swung his arm upwards through the air, parallel with the trajectory of the beam of energy which had just passed him. By doing so, the doctor launched a thin and nearly invisible projectile of energy towards the beast in an attempt to at the very least cut through whatever layers of eyes and mouths were protecting its innards.
Still, it looked as if there was hardly any progress and this perhaps wasn't helped by the chaos the doctor had brought upon the battlefield, but for now it looked like he couldn't concern himself too much with the lives and survival of others, for before he knew it, the beast once again unleashed an attack which was without question meant to remove all the perceived pests and threats around it. This time though, the enrgy, the darkness and the pressure the beast exerted was on another level all together.
Without a single thought, not allowing himself to underestimate what was coming, the mad scientist quickly moved his hands forward, erecting another barrier for the sake of his own survival, drawing upon as much energy as was necessary to make sure the barrier was completely spherical in order to maximize the potential of it absorbing and redirecting energy. This would soon be tested, when a massive shockwave of dark energy crackling like an incoming electrostatic storm rolled over the battlefield, swallowing everything whole within its darkness. Ghast could hear how his energy creaked and buckled under the pressure of this energy, cracks appearing within the barrier and allowing some of the crackling energy to seep inside and sting him like if he had been touched by an irrationally angry electric eel.
With his entire body starting to feel the strain of this battle and the likelyhood of it taking much longer, Ghast was getting to the end of his rope, just maintaining the barrier was important enough, but it was all taking its toll on the mad scientist's body and mental stability. "What does it take to just incapacitate such a beast...much more than I've been dishing out so far and probably much more than those others can possibly take..."
Shrugging his shoulders, the doctor thought perhaps for now it might be better not to cause too much trouble to those gnats that were standing between himself and this mightily fascinating specimen. After all, if he took them all out "accidentally", there would be a high likelyhood that the beast would turn its attention fully upon the doctor, which though interesting, would probably not be in the doctor's own best interest. So for now, if he could deliver enough damage to incapacitate the beast and NOT those around him, it must be enough.
Slamming his hands together, the mad scientist let out a deep sigh, followed by taking in an even deeper breath, when black energy started to pool together in between his two cupped hands. It took a bit longer than usual, but the potency of this technique should have been somewhat on par with the battlefield-destroying blast he had unleashed earlier. Perhaps with this, Ghast could at the very least avoid any undesired collateral damage going forward...for now.
Swinging both arms forward, a massive beam of jet black energy was launched straight towards the eldritch beast, the very rippling force and heat of this beam glassing everything within its wake as it drew a trail of debris behind it...

At Wriggle finally acknowledging him, Yan blinked at first, not realizing she knew him as well as Anna. He thought Anna had sort of made a friend, which wasn’t at all untrue, but now there was a greater mystery to his future, which was apparently filled with a controlled Anna and bug royalty.
”Thank you, my queen,” Yan said with a short bow that was not at all sarcastic and might please Wriggle all the more. While Nelgae worshiped, the Klaxxi empire was just beginning without any other devote underlings, and while Yan’s sincerity did not stretch so far as to see his words as from a loyal subject, it was still that of an emissary who chose to show respect to the royalty of a powerful, or soon to be powerful, nation. It was an acknowledgement to her position without any doubt her or her empire deserved it.
But of course, it was Yan, so he added the familiarity to it to say ‘my.’
”Oh, am I a concubine?” he asked, potentially just to see if Anna would rile up, but probably just cause: ”Can I be a concubine?”
Hertz meanwhile had forgotten about Anna to find his newest shiny prize, which wasn’t very shiny, though he supposed if the barrier energy light hit it in a certain way. Another person might look at the grotesque heart and not want to eat it. They weren’t all bugs afterall, but Hertz was able to see the properties the flesh could provide and he immediately ate it, blood smearing across his face.
Despite his attention on Wriggle, Yan did perk up when Anna began her lie, watching her with his full attention like the teacher he would eventually become. A little truth, a little lie, some disgruntlement, and of course a gentle dig for information. When she clicked out he clapped his hands together.
Hertz looked up and began clapping too since he seemed to be praising the princess and not clapping royalty would definitely get your head taken off, especially the spoiled princess. Unit 5000 didn’t play games with his daughter’s appreciation.
Letting himself be carried about again, Yan let his senses expand again, trying to keep track on the big events going on around them. He expected the ‘Doctor’ to answer relatively quickly, so he moved to distract Hertz who had remounted his cow to ride on.
”Hey, Hertz, you’re a fancy robot from the future. Do you have any data on what happened today?” Yan asked, mostly to keep the robot away from the communications device’s microphone.
Hertz opened his mouth however and a hologram poured out of it before forming a screen, the words: ABOUT TIME, MISTER CASS…
Yan blinked at this, then he leaned forward and down towards Hertz and the screen. If asked, people familiar with Juturna might have noticed she always used a specific font. On questioning, they might realize they did not see this font anywhere else, but it wasn’t a super unique looking font. It was a little electronic looking, but could easily be mixed up with another font.
Well, it wasn’t that unique on the surface, but it was actually very unique. This font was chosen very recently in this timeline for Yan who had dyslexia. While it looked like a normal font it was designed so all the letters looked different enough that even spun around he could recognize them for what they were and thus talk with her more easily.
”Juturna?” he asked. ”Did you become a dancing robot in the future? I know you’ve been diving into my music files but…”
I BECOME MANY THINGS INCLUDING A PLANET… BUT FOR TODAY, I AM MERELY TAGGING ALONG WITH HERTZ…
Yan mouthed the appropriate ‘wow.’ In this present, he knew Juturna’s capabilities well enough. She was an artificial super intelligence that one of the most intelligent people he had ever met had created and deemed too powerful to take out of a box. He did not doubt her becoming a planet at all.
I CAN TELL YOU HOWEVER THAT ONE OF THE LARGE THE AIMS OF THIS EVENT WAS TO KIDNAP THE SAIYAN PRINCE WHO ATTENDED THE SUMMIT… HE WAS THE FIRST TO GO MISSING WHEN EVERYTHING BEGAN… HE WAS FOUND WHEN THE BARRIER WENT DOWN, BUT DR. BRIEFS SHOULD HAVE THE DATA TO WHERE AND WHY HE WAS TAKEN IF I CAN ACCESS IT… THERE HAS BEEN SOME INTERFERENCE AS YOU’VE SEEN…

Post by Shell on Mar 22, 2024 14:24:01 GMT -5
Well, that thing was rather intimidating coming towards them. The molten golems had fused into a monstrous figure. It directly explained the bodies and damage that was done here. The golems up to this point had not been that much of a threat, but seeing the monster that had fused together through the molten cores of the creatures explained why this scene was pure wreckage at this point. The Mater Paladin General questioned if this was another alteration of time or if the creature existed in the actual timeline. The simple fact of the matter was that it was a danger to anyone it encountered.
The good thing was that over in this area, now the only living things were him and the demon scholar. Shell looked at Towa as she glanced in his direction to see what they were going to do about the creature. His head pointed to the passage that he was standing over and it was clear that fighting was not the primary objective here. Killing this creature was not going to solve the problem and likely would only fuel the barrier even more. They needed to get a move on with things and not delay here.
He jumped down the hole, but as he did he got a strange feeling. The divine energy he had been around for months was on the other side of the barrier. He got a glimpse of that energy signature, but he did not have time to wait and see what or why. Instead descended with his flight stopping it from just being a downfall to start going down the underground passage that was formed at the summit.
The demon goddess was right behind him, still holding the tablet as they were not going to delay moving down the tunnel either at this point. A fight with that monster would have taken time and she was not sure how much of that they really had at this point. She sped up slightly to catch up to Shell and the head start he had been closer to the hole. As they hurried down the hole, hopefully creating distance between themselves and the monster, the plan was very simple. They had to follow the path that evacuated the explosion and see where it took them.
AURORA had been less than helpful so far as the system she was trying to counter against was fighting back rather well. Considering the Avalon AI did not believe it to be Jutters, it was easy to assume that another highly advanced computer system was being used. If things that the computer had found out so far were accurate, this confusion had messed up the process for the head scholar Juch during the real events, so it was possible it was a system that was far beyond what was expected to be faced. It was also likely that if AURORA kept pounding on the pipe, she would eventually find information.
The hindrance to that was what Towa had in her hand. As she got closer to Shell she showed him the screen, ”Looks like some crazy encryption going on here. Why would a celebrity pop star have such detailed work on her tablet? And why was she here in the first place? I think it might be worth having your computer look into it while we move down this tunnel.” In a lab setting, Towa might have been able to figure this out, but that was not the setting they were in right now. Instead, they were traveling underground after an explosion and trying to get away from a monster that would have clearly slowed them down. Hopefully the device that Shell kept getting information from would get the information quicker and be a bit of a help once again.
”I wish we knew more of what really happened in this timeline. If we had some place to start from with our investigations, it would be so much easier to piece the puzzle together. I guess that is part of the game though right?” Shell shrugged, wishing to know more, but understanding that was not going to be the case. He liked solving problems but did not like wasting his time.
Shell grabbed the tablet, looking at it, while the continued to move down the underground passage. The rubble and debris around them, proving that this was once again part of the explosion, but also that it was used. Following the path that was before them was the direct route they had at this point, and they were not going to go away from that lead all things considered.
What really did they have to consider though? The story of what happened during this time in history was not finished being documented and no one really knew what happened. All Shell knew at this point was that Lord Beerus and Whis were outside of the barrier as well. Considering that was the case, he had to believe that something either important or strangely coincidental was going on. They seemed to have a great deal of those up to this point. The only thing that really had happened too was that Mira had exploded eating a light. That hastened their normal lackadaisical approach to these sorts of things, but truthfully this entire thing seemed rather chaotic and without much reason.
Shell looked down at the tablet, letting AURORA focus her attention away from the counter hack for a moment and to the tablet hoping to finally get some information. Why was a socialite in this place? Why was her tablet so encrypted? What would that even provide them if they did break that encryption? The hope was information, something to go off from, but it was hard to believe that was going to happen. So far, they seemed to just be here for some data collection, and they had clearly only made things worse.
Letting AURORA do her thing, Shell motioned for Towa to lead the way. The demon was naturally gifted at seeing in darkness and that made it so she was the obvious choice to lead them. She also seemed much more determined and focused since Mira exploded. Shell did not know the reason why that was the case and while learning that information would have been helpful, he did not want to pry.
Towa was focused though. Her goal was not the same as many others here. This distortion was caused by someone. She wanted to know who that was. She also wanted to know the answer of why they were doing this. If they did share goals and plans with her and Mira, then they could be an ally in the future. If they did not, then they might have been just another obstacle to overcome. Considering they had found this place with so much energy that it could explode Mira with ease, the one that caused this had some kind of important information that led them to so much energy being available.
She focused her mind, continuing down the tunnel, but really locking in on any magic she could determine was in the area. If she did find that, then she would be able to hopefully start to determine if it was demonic in nature. She had made that assumption after the earlier distortion they had found underground with their senses, but now she was hopeful that she would find something else.
Moving down the path, Shell was keeping his mind open to try to locate any threat before they walked into it. Towa was trying to determine demonic magic and AURORA was trying to break the code on a celebrity’s tablet. Hopefully with all that, they would finally get somewhere that would be of use to achieving their goals in this timeline.

There was plenty for the bug to sweat about, as his queen seemed to acknowledge all the others before him. But the Klaxxi could understand. Yes, his queen was powerful, there was no doubt in that fact. But it still hurt that he was seemingly passed over for any of his- well, he supposed that he didn’t achieve anything so far in this other timeline. If anything, in this time, he regressed to travel in the backwaters of the universe, consuming new life to gain new traits. A silent stalker in the shadows that consumed with a voracious appetite. Not as calm as he was now, as one might observe. Not feral, but less in control. It was why every few centuries he left the arena, as without a queen to give orders, the Klaxxi would lose some self control. The queen not only prevented this in the males, but was not one to fall prey to it herself.
And so, Nelgae saw that he was asked to give her a treat, something to eat. He didn’t think that she needed a sensu bean, there was not enough damage for that, but he supposed that the heart of the Saiyan that he still had would not be a bad treat. She did, after all, like that. He brought the heart out, contained in a jar that he had brought with him to contain such delicacies and placed it in her hand, so that she could eat it at her leisure. There was no haste, after all. He stood from his position, as it seemed that the queen wished to move on her own, though he was sure that Wriggle would jump onto his shoulder if she wished. He was unworried about that.
As he listened quietly to the spun lie, he cocked his head and wondered at their new plans. He could plan if they needed it, but he often let his queen pick these things. After all, he was her escort, not her butler or secretary. His eyes narrowed on Yan when he asked about being a concubine, but that was something that was up to Wriggle. He didn’t know this man well, but he was certainly happy to entertain this line of questioning. Not that he could do anything if the bug girl said yes, but he wondered about the other that seemed to be his other half. What did the fleshy ones call it in common? Husband? To him, there was no such thing. Not in the Klaxxi, in any case.
But with that, he watched quietly. There was no chance that the barrier actually worked with the Cultists at this point, as in his mind, it was more likely that such ancient power had merely used the fanatics to get loose. He had experience through books about such things. Something about religious texts? He often tossed away such books, but sometimes he did read a chapter or two. In any case, when the choice was made to continue on their way towards the original goal, Nelgae moved with them, a silent gray hulk of a bug.
Once they reached the area, Nelgae held back a bit further. He would not make the same mistake, as he hunkered down the ashy ground, his exoskeleton better able to blend in with the surroundings. He wouldn’t touch anything if he could help it, but used his smaller, more precise arms to check for anything near them, quiet as he could be. His eyes stayed on the ground, though he kept his senses sharp as they could be. This damn barrier kept an infernal hold on his ability to sense out properly, and he would have likely popped a blood vessel if he hadn't eaten anything since they’d gotten here.
He was, however, interested in what the little robot had to say. The event here was triggered by these cultists - obviously - but for the purpose to abduct their own prince? Well, the bug guessed that that made as little sense to him as anything. Royalty to him was to be worshipped, though Wriggle was much different from his mother queen. These Saiyans broke their duty in his eyes. Unless, of course, they had kiddnapped that prince in order to save or free him from something. Not that the Klaxxi had princes.
"Then," he hissed quietly, "Perhaps we should locate them later, if we're able." But he suspected that after they battled something or another, this timeline would be fixed. After all, he didn't hear anything about this related to some Saiyan princeling, nor the spawn of any other planet. It was an Earth issue, he guessed. But he refocused his time in the search, not moving anything large, and did his best not to move too much ash at once to alert anyone nearby.

| What For Son Gohan
326 | 2904 |
The Gohans had taunted in unison and then they had suffered in unison, a sharp blow coming from what they had seen as an off-balance foe. Worse yet, the elite must have noticed that the boys favored one of their legs as the scything kick hit them both in their weakened ankles. Gohan's eyes filled with the blinding white of pain as he fell to his knee and good leg. The clone was somehow even less fortunate as the cultist jettisoned him backward toward Kale and the last of the apparent underlings. He flew through the air unwillingly, rolling unceremoniously into the collapsed wall where he would stay dazed.
While the clone was batted away, Gohan found a moment's respite himself. It was just enough to regain his senses and see the elite's wide charge incoming. Even if he saw it, the momentum had swung in the enemy's favor, and the boy didn't have the speed or wherewithal to avoid it completely. He tightened his core as he instantly mapped the low trajectory, tracing with his mind's eye just where the elite would move with his reckless charge. Gohan whipped forward with an elbow, eating the attack with a grunt while nearly ensuring that his bony arm would stab into the elite with the force of both attackers.
Clonehan bristled, rising from the rocky bed as he understood the elite's brutality. More accurately, as he realized his lack of understanding. What did the cult fight for? What did this man fight for? While he thought, a nearly invisible strand of energy shot from the clone's fingertips. Unlike the first ones which trapped and knocked out the bulk of the cultists, this was meant to capture a single fighter and cling to him tightly. Gohan followed up on the attempt at restraint and flew just above the tunnel floor to quickly circle around his foe, keeping him both in close quarters and away from his concentrating clone.

It stung to retreat to abandon the field and allies, even if only allies of necessity, but the two synthetics were severely outmatched no shame in seeking an alternative avenue when the direct rout is blocked by entities entirely out of one's league. Perhaps they could find some people trapped in cave ins they could save and honor the oath in that way,
the capacity to step back and think a position over rather than be overtaken by a wounded pride, this was one advantage that the paladins had over Saiyans. A trait that synthetics could exemplify with their heightened ease of surviving even ghastly levels of damage that leave large chunks of them missing and the allocation of resources to and from analytical systems to grant them a complete picture of goings on. Granted potential advantages heavily hampered by the duos more humanistic neural wafers and structuring of their core logic processing being a more neuromorphic model with deep personality core administrative roles to their systems not just a means to carry out objectives with fewest social ripples.
And Vlad’s some would argue for ‘an android overly humanized’ tendency to be consumed by aspects of the oath overtaking a more detached logical evaluation also a thing that made him responsible for more than a few migraines of his high command that have to try to spin their answer to his recurring question, the “are we not sworn to do what we can to aid the innocent and see to it that evil is at least confronted?!” them having to try and spin “Yes but also not quite that simple.”
This circumstance they could only try and find people to aid away from the creatures hopefully but the best they could do is try and escort people to safety… problem… their sensors were bloating with so many error messages they had to minimize their huds to keep their brains from overheating by whatever was interfering with their high end electronic monitoring and analytical systems.
Vlad saved a load of these complications and error readings to present to the avalonian center for system analytics and diagnostics to hopefully have the scouter engineers build contingencies around whatever this was in the future, this headache was only eclipsed by sodding psionics.
With whatever was interfering with their sensory, the walls of earth and/or industry that surrounded them may as well have been made of lead and their complex optics with multitudes of functions and alt modes may as well have been early tech x rays.
<so much for finding human and other citizen signatures underneath the surface, it is taking so much processing resources my positronic brain has its fans running full force cool to detect the worms in the dirt>
Whatever is interfering with their sensory systems it was here and while anything outside 60 ft in front of them was a blob of static that came back cascading error reports scanning forcing to terminate the scan in his internal task managing systems before the back logs made his neurology run slow.
EP3 held her trusty blade and shield close, thankful that sensory systems that eliminated darkness at least worked, and also grateful for a synthetics ability to at will disengage smell receptors catacomb levels had a habit of smelling quite distractedly foul.
The duo came to crates, hope against hope one of these had the jammer they could unplug.
Vlad thought to use zero point energy to wrench both of the crates at the same times but the barrier he put up may become too weak and open their makeshift cave system open to more of those mother of all bunker busters or whatever those creepy unnatural shadows could do that he managed to glance before they went in, understandably wanting none of either he opted to go to the one on the right and use his claw as if it was a bottle opener to this crate with his strength and wedging it on a point of his hard light blade he was sure the crate would open with ease.
EP3 took the left like her mentor keeping her direct contact away from the crate’s opening as best as her shield and blade would allow her, taking swings at whatever secured the crate shut then using her blade as a means to try and flip the top off keeping the bulk of her form behind the shield. After finding what these strange placed crates held they tried to study any sounds that may have been coming from the surrounding vicinity… outside the tunnel they blew through, they knew what awaited their clash of destructive power above their capability to be much more than complicating cross fire especially with the defensive resources already expended by Vlad he would need some time to get those back and potentially see if he could find a way to utilize his full output of his firmware update shift in spite of the upgrade components not even existing at this time. Being mindful of the impact on the timeline had to take a measure of concern at least, it's what distinguished them from the villainous forces.
Speaking of which, they scanned as well as they could in investigation of every corner and crawl that was up for optical or audio registering.
Vlad’s internal mark 2 scouter as top of the line and augmented by Vlad’s far from under developed synthetic brain’s resources were carrying the bulk of the investigation but EP3 was doing her part Where Vlad was perhaps overextending a bit garnering every bit of data he could ascertain of the paths before them and this strange room. Wealthy people did love splurging their resources on extravagant underground things, but Vlad had dealt with Gill many decades, so he was well aware and wary of the true dangers often lay under the surface.
EP3 lowered her investigative parameters to a single far simpler and hopefully more digestible answer to the inquiry, “how long ago was this place in use and is there any indication of recent traffic?”
Their audio sensors were maxed out for any signs of disturbances shifting of stones, subtle breathing, running water, anything that could be heard or seen even if their vision was handicapped by the interference and anomalous malfunctions (?) they hoped? How likely was it these phantasmal visuals were just their camera optics glitching with the interference? Surely!

Vlad
1open right crate.
Remaining actions investigate area in agonized detail for potential harboring of villains or general use of the area. And listen in for any potential organic presence or any other disturbance as far as his advanced sensors and internal analytics (int 8,201internal +mrk 2 scouter) could tell
EP3
1open left create w- raised guard
2 investigate as well with normal scouter, but with a more narrow read of what she is looking to learn. How long ago was this area trafficked and where, also listening for any individuals/ disturbances in the area
