It was with no small amount of tension and stress that Cauli regarded what others called the sun god. In truth she didnt know what it was called - only thay the oppressive power that it wielded seemed to affect her most of all. She didnt have the perspective to understand that because she was born of suffering, that same sort of suffering was also like her kryptonite.
Cauli looked across at Towa and was proud to note that her friend had gotten a great hit in against this deity-like creature. The creature even seemed to acknowledgeher, but Cauli was having difficulty understanding his voice, which sounded heavy in her ears. Unfortunately, the attention that her success brought also came with a side of kai-damn lightning storm. Cauli didnt see what happened to Towa because she was already moving unconsciously away from the epicentre of the strike. As lightning lanced out towards her, she raised her blade to meet it, trying to channel the lightning's energy to keep her own reserves full. She raised her other hand, projecting her own energy back at the lance of energy in an attempt to keep it from breaking through the shadow blade and hitting her.

As Kale looked over the Saiyan Elite’s body she’d find a communications device. At this point, considering all the Saiyans in the base were dead, it was probably useless. He did not have any other goods on him. As she looked through the rest of the front room, ignoring details to properly investigate anything, she’d find that most of the things in this room were destroyed or tarnished with blood. There were papers and files that might have been useful to what Yan said, data collecting, but there wasn’t anything useful in that room for battle. She would be better off looking deeper into the base in the communications or storage rooms. There did however appear to be a shoot up. This could potentially get them to the surface a little quicker than Gohan's trademark route.Yan powered on, going alone. He managed to rip through the energy wall, tearing it apart for anyone to follow and wandered deeper into the base, finding more bodies as he did. Stepping into the room with the only power level remaining, Yan was able to see Juch. As the woman in black promised, he was a tad disassembled. Juch had agreed to the Saiyans terms before this new threat arrived, agreeing to a fate that would have left him without any memories unconscious in a church. He was already half indisposed when things changed drastically for the Saiyan cult, and thus had no hope of stopping the man who induced their slaughter. He was also dressed in black, an average sized man cloaked in a thick hooded garment, mask over nose and mouth. He had turned to Yan’s approach, showing eyes that had turned black as if invaded by shadows, their pupils a glowing red as if to mirror blood lust. Messy black hair threatened to cover one eye, a mane of it tucked in his cloak. In between them were spheres of malleable energy that seemed to guard the warrior, like mines ready to go off against any he did not wish to approach him. His sword was drawn, dripping with Saiyan blood under which was a jet black blade. ”A tempting offer,” he said, though his tone suggested it was only tempting in that it would amuse him. If this were present Yan, he would know exactly who this warrior in black was, or he would think he did. This Yan however was destined to only meet that guess for the very first time today, above ground, in a history Anna had changed completely. If this timeline wasn’t destroyed, such an ill-fated friendship would still happen, but now, in this time, to Yan, it was simply another warrior. Those red eyes however did seem to recognize Yan, which was probably why that amusement was even more tempting, but as his companion said, time had run out. He reached down, and picked up Juch’s torso, which still had its head attached, and threw the offline android at the monkey’s feet. ”I have seen him rise from worse straights than that,” the warrior said, watching Juch as if the android might come back online at any moment. When he didn’t show any sign of it, those crimson eyes looked back to Yan. ”The entire universe could be at stake. Are you sure you want to be lingering down here?”Despite Yan’s only goal being met, the man seemed to wait with a certain eagerness, as if hoping the monkey would change his mind and attack. His task for this timeline was complete, and he could move on, but seeing these invigorated power levels intrigued him. There was not much time left, but his hand tightened on his beloved sword, tempting fate for just a little longer.

Water fell down on the demon’s head, and the god’s pupiless eyes fixed on Shell, sending a weighted pressure down on the hero. Just that look alone felt like being attacked. It was more potent than Beerus, or Whis. Blasphemy to say it, but that gaze felt like the emotionless stare of the Omni God, and just like the childlike deity, the Sun God laughed. It wasn’t the squeaking laugh of the Omni God, but a deep reverberating one, that ripped the Saiyan Prince’s smile into a wicked grin.
”That’s better,” he said, sounding pleased.
Towa’s attack ripped towards him, and again it slammed into that concentrated storm, and the monster inside it didn’t move as the heat of the earth’s core rise to meet him. His eyes closed, as if taking the heat in like a warm sun on a fall day. The end result surrounded him entirely in lava, another guard from anyone attacking, but he looked up, to Shell, expectant.
He hadn’t just been standing here the whole time. They hadn’t even managed to make him rise from his crossed legged sitting position, but he had a feeling the Namekian was going to finally change that. He folded his hands together in front of his mouth and watched, hiding the remaining grin on his face.
And he was not let down. The first rushing wave was met by the concentrated storm, shaking it, but not breaking it, until finally, the second path of destruction caused the energy to shatter. It did not stop the whirling winds around him ready to reflect any attack, nor did it stop the aura closest to him from releasing destructive power to anyone who came close, but visibly, something seemed to shatter, sending sparks of glowing energy in all directions like someone had released a tube of glitter.
The Sun God sighed, and moved to lift himself to his feet. At this point Ghast was charging his flames, and if one hoped that once the barrier was down his body would be more vulnerable, seeing the twin beams crash into the man’s body was not promising. The energy drilled into his body, which seemed to absorb it entirely, and caused the once Saiyan to stretch his arms out as if greeting a new day. Then he looked to the doctor.
”Oh,” he let out. ”Are you done talking to yourself?” he asked Ghast, his head tilting ever so slightly as if the doctor’s attacks had not even touched him.
Then music played, which caused the creature’s brow to furrow as it turned on the little droid, not at all expecting such noise. The blast ripped from its open palms, and then time the god reacted with lightning fast speed, swatting the massive power away from him and letting it sail off into the barrier where it crashed with a resounding ‘poof!’
Afterwards, the creature inspected his hand, seemingly fascinated by it, by pain, as the cow charged through the lava Mira had provided him in defense. It hindered the creature’s speed and caused it damage, just to receive even more damage as it slammed into that destructive aura, making the man’s nose scrunch just a little in disgust. Not even the weight of the cow could force him to move however.
And then Yua wished to entrap him, his expression lightened again as he felt the world contract, each blast pushing him further into himself, threatening to crush this host down into flattened pieces. He might have moved to this assault, but Yua’s attacks locked him into place. Instead the black moving tattoos turned white, glowing brightly as Yua unleashed her next attack. It rammed into him as that light pulsed and made him take a few steps back, catching himself, his foot planting in the dark ground.
”No,” he said, the light from his tattoos suddenly exploding in a blinding flash that was like looking directly at the sun. ”You all have no place here anymore.”
As Lemon’s attack snatched out at him, his aura exploded out from him, serving as a buffer to diminish the attack’s power. It still dug into his makeshift flesh, piercing through, but before it could bleed, the tattoos seemed to swarm and heal the wound.
He was not untouchable. Attacks did hurt, and while he seemed to have healed quickly enough, there was likely a limit to his abilities. They had broken through his barrier so they could probably break through…
Poink.
The bird went up in flames like Sunday Dinner when it hit the Sun God, but it did hit, making the man flinch in surprise at the completely unexpected attack. He blinked away the surprise quickly however, the rage of such an assault starting the storm around him anew.
”Ah,” he let out, seeing the causing, then looking up to the girl who had thrown it. He smiled to her, something that might have seemed soft if his glowing orbs of death for eyes didn’t scream malice.
With that, he vanished, like a tornado rising back into the sky the body moved at a speed even Riki and Shell would struggle to follow. He seemed to be upon them all at once, a blur of motion that seemed to make the environment in his expanding path warp and distort, until concussive impact after impact exploded.
There was one strike to each of their bodies, cutting through fire and whatever else might try and protect them, with force beyond imagining, and a cataclysmic impact enough to crush their bodies. But every impact unleashed an explosive shockwave that expanded rapidly like an actual bomb going off on each hit, until the battlefield was engulfed in pressurized explosions unleashed from every fighter.
When it ended, he was back in the same place he began, stretching his hand in front of him as he had against Hertz attack, as if having never thrown a punch before, he was just now figuring out how it felt.

As the sun god deflected Hertz’ blast, the little robot lifted a hand over his eyes to watch it sail into the sunset, making a pooping noise as it crashed into the barrier. Well, that was that.
Still, it seemed the ragtag group was getting to the man, god, demon, monster. He had stood, and he was actively blocking attacks now, which meant they could hurt him regardless of the bravado he showed. There was hope in this battle even as he released a light suitable of a Sun God.
Hertz didn’t feel pain from such thing but his vision did go temporarily dark.
Now, the amount of people who survived getting struck by lightning was actually a pretty high number. Martha Stewart had apparently been struck three separate times to no lasting damages, though one had to wonder if god wasn’t trying to smite her. Statistically, only one in ten people were actually killed by lightning. You didn’t have to be a super powered human to be one of those nine, but if you told this super powered human she would doubt you. Then again, this wasn’t a normal lightning bolt. This was actually a god trying to actively smite her, and she felt that into her bones.
It was an interesting feeling to be struck. The moment before it she felt her skin prickle and tingle as the electric charge made first contact. Her whole body seemed to vibrate, like the earth was crashing down on her, and then she felt the bolt make full contact drilling into her body with a sudden heat. That was the best way to describe it. The heat spread from that point of impact like a fire going off inside her. The heat spread rapidly, touching all her nerves and setting them aflame. Excruciating pain spread across her entire body and yet she could still feel the bolt itself traveling down her body, ripping apart everything blocking its path to the magnetic pull of ground.
When it left her, cracking open the ground below she fell to the ground, catching herself on all fours as she stared blankly at the ruined earth. The electrical charge had gone through her nerves into her brain and while her whole body felt the never ending sting of burns, her head seemed to pulse with sharp agonizing beats. Her ears rang and she couldn’t hear the battle around her, she couldn’t concentrate on anything but the spinning ground in front of her. She was sure, in that moment, she was actually dead.
She’d never died before, despite her recklessness, but she had gotten this badly injured. Not to her head though. These concussion like symptoms were never felt to this degree and when the beast created a blinding light to further aggravate her senses she closed her eyes up tight.
She was in a battle. She was in the battle. The battle she waited all day for. The battle she had wanted to face with arrogance and pride. She was in a fight against a monster that held souls hostage. Opening her eyes, she could see one being dragged away, pulled into his concentrated storm. Was the barrier still contracting? Was it going to finally break?
It didn’t matter. She didn’t need to be saved. Despite her injuries, her body felt the first pulse before it reached her, trained through training, through this kind of pain to see an attack before it reached her. She couldn’t move to deal with it, so she pushed her aura up in a thick guard and gripped the broken earth, becoming an unmovable pillar. The beast slammed his fist towards her but she didn’t move, keeping that shielding about her until he moved on, and then leaving it up as the world continued to pulse and shutter. She was vibrating again, as each shockwave belted into her energy shield, but she did not move.
The Tyrant Burst Dragon was dealing with similar issues. In fact, it was more injured than Riki, and the lava had burned its legs making it hard to stand. It laid down in protest, unable to move against the blinding light anyway and summoned its own protective shield as it buried its head into the ground, done for this round. Maybe done for the battle.
The god slammed into the cow’s shield and then was on Hertz who stood dumbly and went flying through the air like a rag doll on impact, only to be hit by the other shockwaves to get stuck in the air with each crushing blow until they passed and he was unceremoniously dropped to the ground.
The shockwaves ended and Riki pushed herself up, and for potentially the last time, she gathered her power. Her eyes stayed closed as the air around her protested to this shift in pressure and invisible energy grew, seen only in the heat waves spawned all the way around her, her own bit of reality distorted.
And Chaos. There was a feeling of chaos that rose from her, a sense to fear, a sense to run. Her body was burned and broken but she didn’t care—no, she couldn’t care. All she could care about was retribution. If mimicry was the highest form of flattery, let him be flattered, because twelve bolts of golden lightning crashed down on the god, meaning to send the same vicious electric shock she had just endured.
Unlike him however, she didn’t pause there throwing her hand forward as five thin wires of ki shot from her finger tips. The shot like beams, crossing the distance between them like in an instant aiming not for the creature just yet. Instead she pulled her hand across once it reached him, dragging the wires across like razor wired mesh, aiming to slice through him like he was a piece of cheese.
Only after it cut all the way through did it snap from her grasp, and she pulled her hand in to grip her shoulder, taking in a deep breath and recentering herself. It wouldn’t be enough, she knew that, but she was not done and she was not alone.
The cute little robot moved to prove that, running with his arms back at his side like a little ninja. He weaved through the craters and destruction until he was fairly close to the Sun God. There he suddenly split into three people. The middle Hertz jumped back, while the other two threw themselves into the fire, pushing through it to try and hug the demon god before exploding with deadly force.

Shell’s massive attack had done something effective. It was the straw that broke the protective barrier around the sun demon. It had kept the massive onslaught that the freed demon had been hit with away from striking at him, but like any bubble, eventually it would burst if it were damaged enough. The thunder flash attack had managed to break that down and allow the rest of the onslaught from the others to hopefully start to work on taking down this threat to the timeline and cause the group that had come to fix this problem to end up failing at their mission. The Master Paladin General never accepted failure and while Towa and Mira had a history of failures, neither were the type to just sit back and take it. They would fight. The key here was the arrogance of the demon. He knew he was powerful, and he knew he had the ability to take down any of those gathered here individually. The key was if he could defeat all of them together. He looked down on the mortals standing before him and mocked their attempts to hurt him. The taunts after being hit clearly trying to demoralize the group, but all it seemed to do was provoke them further. More attacks came at him, eventually causing him to look at his hand in wonder. Pain was rare for a being of this type, but that pain was clear now that it was being shown. Those here fighting against him, all had known pain before, but now they could see that he was feeling it too. Even if it was just a little bit, the sensation was clear from a being that had not it in a long time. It showed that the onslaught was working and they just needed to keep it up at this point. The breaking of the protective barrier was part one, sending the demon some pain was part 2. Now they just had to magnify that pain in order to get this fight to a point where they could properly take care of the threat before them. The flash of light was powerful as was expected from a Sun Demon. It consumed the battlefield, but eye protection was available in mass to deal with these sorts of things. Especially considering things like solar eclipses and such existed. It allowed the technology Towa had installed to her own glasses, the protective lining on Mira’s eyes and AURORA knew how to manipulate their vision for direct vision aimed at the sun itself. The darkness around the light and the tint that suddenly manifested allowed them to exist through the flash and continue on as if the demon had done nothing just as he had done to them time and time again up to this point. As the demon acted quickly moving like a cyclone as he traveled at speeds that were hard to track. The important part was what happened. Shell was on his list to strike and as the concussive blow erupted, something triggered within the Namekian. He jumped back out of instinct alone, causing the blow to erupt right out of range of impacting him directly. His movement and the force itself let Mira and Towa have an idea of what was coming. Each of them summoned forth a protective shield of force around themselves in order to negate the strike and keep it from harming them either. The demon looked proud of himself, stretching his limbs as if he was getting used to this new body and form and not necessarily taking the fight seriously at this point. Shell looked at the others, hoping someone had an idea, ”What’s the plan?” He asked standing next to Mira and Towa once again after the concussive bomb like explosions erupted around the battlefield. ”It worked once before, might as well try it again, now that the bubble popped.” She slammed her hand to the ground and suddenly a surge of strange black and purple energy erupted around the sun demon, attempting to trap him once more in a wave of stored time energy. Keeping the sun demon locked down had worked so far for the trio and had let others have a chance to add in their attacks as well. It was a number of warriors gathered here to fight this thing and so the more they could keep it from attacking them, the better it would be for everyone that was trying to stop the demon that had been released on this timeline and the Earth in general. AURORA then chimed in for the Namekian, ”I think I have identified some places to strike at that will harm him even further.” Shell noted spots that popped up on the Saiyan Prince’s body, but they were rather sporadic. Nothing really was a large hit me sign, but more of special weak points scattered around. It left the concept of direct strikes almost out of his mind, but he had a few ways around it. With the strange aura emanating from the target, the Paladin knew what he had to do next. He just hoped that he would be able to properly control what he planned on doing. Shell crossed his arms in front of him once more. This time a powerful green energy started to flow around him. Sparks flowing from his body as he tried to summon forth a power that would hopefully be able to take this demon down or at least further weaken him. With him hopefully trapped in Towa’s surge of power, Shell knew he had little time to hesitate. The field of power began to swirl around him, but it was only for a moment. He turned his arms over thrusting them forward before the bolts of raw electricity around him erupted outwards. The quick strike trying to target the spots that AURORA had indicated were part vulnerable. The bolts would normally surround the Paladin and hit whatever targets were around him, but now they only had one target and that was the Sun Demon inside the Saiyan. As the first eruption of the power was sent out, Shell kept focusing his power, continuing that flow of power around himself to continue the explosion once again. Gritting his teeth, he felt the drain of trying to do this start to overcome him, but he would not give up. Before his body gave way, he summoned forth another surge sending a third explosion of electrical bolts went rushing towards the demon hoping to keep the pressure on and inflict more pain and further weaken the raw power that they were facing. The power that Shell had manifested was raw power being released from him in that moment and not what would normally be expected from him in that moment. Still the targeted bolts of power going at specific parts of the sun demon was not missed by Mira. His eyes narrowed trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together that Shell was putting out there for everyone. The Android knew that Mira was using a very advanced artificial intelligence to help him from their time working together before. He was betting that the AI had found a weakness for them all to exploit. ”Let’s follow Shell’s attacks.” He said looking at Towa. He summoned forth energy as the first explosion was sent to the demon. Clenching his fist, he pulled it back, even at this distance as if he was going to throw a punch, ”I’ll strike with his next surge.” As Shell lashed out the second time, Mira punched the air in front of him, sending a shockwave of energy right towards the same areas that Shell had hit, hoping that he had purpose behind his attacks. They had seen that the markings on his body were healing him, it was time to strike right behind the first strike like they had against the space wyvern before. Mira recalled that weakness clearly as his mind was functioning more and more and he was ready to try to exploit another weakness. The hybrid strike was able to be done in close combat, but in this instance, it was just a normal blast sent to a target to hopefully crush whatever vulnerability it came across and hoping to magnify itself on to what the Namekian had done moments earlier. It had worked before, and he hoped it would work again. Towa shrugged her shoulders hearing what Mira had said and seeing it in action. She summoned forth more of her power at this point. She was using a large amount of her energy to keep this target on the defensive and contain it. The wasted energy attacking the golems earlier before Mira exploded still rearing its ugly head. She did have the protective energy around her though and that would certainly be helpful for her moving forward. If she did not shield herself, maybe her own burning aura would have lashed out, but so far it was still intact and ready to be used if she was eventually out of ways to protect herself from the demon’s strikes. The demon goddess was not able to manifest a distant direct shot though as Mira had and as Shell was seemingly doing to guide them on where to attack. Instead, she simply pointed her scepter at the target. Trying to flow her energy through her scepter, she had a burst of energy rush right to the tip of the weapon before going straight towards the target. The beam of power as it was released though, suddenly began to grow, larger and larger. The once spear shaped beam of energy suddenly gaining the weight of time itself behind it as it tried to consume the sun demon and overwhelm the target. She took a few deep breaths, trying to gather herself as she glanced at Mira, knowing he was still not healthy from the explosion. She knew she would have to be ready to protect them both as things currently were which was certainly different for her. The scholar’s looked at Mira, her eyes widening to let him know her concern. That was enough to trigger the Android. Mira tilted his head to the side seeing this. Suddenly his body began an in-depth healing protocol. His build and design allowed him several tricks like this, but his goal was just to be healthy enough so that he could face that aura of the demon head on. He had a plan, and he was going to execute that plan. He just needed to be ready. His wounds and the damage on his regenerated body fixing themselves as he readied for whatever the demon had in store for them next. Having released the gathered-up energy Shell looked at the demon, knowing he had much more to offer this fight if needed. His eyes focused on the target, not willing to accept his words and wanting him to know how this would end, ”You are the one who has no place here. You can look down on us all you want, but when this is over we will all still be alive and you will only be a footnote in the scrolls of history. A mistake fixed by those that caused your release. That is all your destiny is now. Evolution Personified"Hahaah, take that you overreaching parasite, take that...that...that...oh..."For a few moments, the doctor felt the thrill of combat, the elation that came with the thought of actually having contributed something to this fight...only...he didn't. Despite having gone to great lengths to make sure he could hit the weirdly roided saiyan to the best of his abilities without having to rely on or use any of his more destructive techniques due to the proximity of others who truth be told actually managed to do more...so far his technically most powerful technique in his arsenal, boosted far beyond its usual limits...ended up being a total failure, a dud...even with the barrier seemingly broken. Perhaps the shock was even bigger due to the fact that even the sage Towa managed to actually do more than the doctor...commendable in truth, but also somewhat frustrating. However, not much time was given to contemplate this problem and what could be the reason for this lack of impact. After all, this was still sort of a battle, well even if it looked like it was nothing but a one-sided engagement, it was still in essence a fight, and in this case, there was a retaliation to be had at the hands of the sun god, demon, saiyan...annoying self-righteous parasite. Despite being annoyed by the sun god's backtalk, the light akin to a flashbang consuming the entire area did enough to completely blind the mad scientist, even worse it not only affected his regular eyes, but also the half a dozen or so demonic eyes spread out over his body, stinging and burning to such a degree that even the maw on his chest clenched itself shut in both agonizing frustration and precaution. Still, while blinded by this insanely luminous light, the doctor could still hear the man's voice, their breathing and their energy, overwhelming as it was, practically suffocated him. Yet, while this all was going on, it also helped Ghast in pinpointing this opponent's position without actually seeing them. He could feel it, how the energy started to move, at a speed and frequency he hardly held for possible, but there it was, the possessed saiyan rushing through the entire battlefield at speeds far beyond human comprehension, but speed and agility did not equate to reaction time. One thing the doctor would always consider his greatest asset was his mind; be it his logical, tactical and calculative side or the instincts his mutation had granted him after that fateful day in the alleys of north city... "Fuck...you" The mad scientist muttered under his breath, crossing both his arms as he expanded a film of energy across his entire body, utilizing it when all of a sudden he could feel himself being hurtled back with great force, though he in truth didn't move all that much, the displacement of air, the energy coarsing through his shield and the speed at which it happened were enough to mentally confuse him in thinking it was a much more powerful technique. However, while he had endured this onslaught, Ghast allowed an inferno of blue flames to quickly spread out all across his body, his frame becoming somewhat thinner, more...build for speed, when he let out a rather rough cry... ...Flames of hell, grant me agility!!""This timeperiod, this battle...it all makes no sense...but than again, neither does me actually fighting..." The doctor sighed, clasping both his hands together and holding them behind his back, a dark blue energy slowly converging in between his hands. "Ka-me-ha...MEEE..."As soon as the energy was reaching a satisfactory level, the mad scientist vanished from his position, reappearing somewhere overhead of the saiyan in an attempt to surprise the sun god a bit, before finally launching his technique in the form of a large, dark blue stream of energy down to the ground below. Gohan's eyes watered with the iron stench of rent flesh. He had sensed the Saiyan encampment and all of its soldiers earlier, so there should have been no surprise when he found far fewer energy signatures remaining. Instead of the dozen or so soldiers he had once feared as backup, Gohan found only bloodied remains. He had given chase to the Saiyan Elite, either foolish or deranged and consumed by madness as he rebuked an offer of aid from both Gohan and Vlad. In the end, it had cost him his life, much as it seemed to have cost his allies. As the boy slammed into his enemy's back, he fell to his knees at the incredible and mounting cost of life. A dozen cultists here, a few million civilians there, and how many defenders of the peace squashed in between?
Fate's web twined together in mysterious ways. Two of the strangers Gohan had met earlier that day - one with the telltale eyes and hair of a Super Saiyan, the other with demonic red hair, and neither of whom had listened when Gohan initially tried to bring people down below the city. The spark of exasperation had long since sputtered out within him, but he did wonder what they were doing instead. Had he been stronger or faster, perhaps he would have discovered the command center earlier. If he had gone with them, or them with him, what state would the city be in? Based on the maelstrom above, it was hard to imagine any scenario worse than what it was.
Vlad asked for guidance from the new arrivals, who immediately asked for help in ransacking the base. Gohan wiped his mouth and began to rifle around, keeping a wide berth from the pile of corpses when possible, but his attention was drawn to the red haired man who made his way deeper into the complex to an energy field. The boy was curious, even verging on suspicious, and split himself into two bodies to efficiently rummage through some of the ruined technology of the base while also following close behind Yan.
Gohan caught up to his tentative ally, stepping into the newly opened room in time to see a mutilated robotic corpse flung at his feet. A figure stood opposite of them, clad in black and bearing a sword which dripped with blood. Two orbs danced lazily around the man but Gohan could sense the density of energy that they contained and it made his hair stand on end. He figured that those spheres would blow them all to hell if anything were to come too close.
"The entire universe?" Gohan asked, overhearing a response he missed the prompt for. He looked questioningly toward Yan, then back to the piercing red eyes of the speaker.
"Are you the one behind all of this?" He asked, gesturing upwards toward the general madness that he was sure they could all feel. "Why would you unleash such a thing? What was even the point?"
Gohan could sense the chaos happening above. He wasn't sure if Yan, Anna or the others planned to fight this man now, or if they would join the others, but whatever happened he and his clone were at full attention and ready to stop things once and for all.

The mechanical man looked at Yan and thought over if he did or did not meet him before, what impact on the time stream aaaallll this going on right at this moment had for them and what they would see after the mission’s end, it was enough to make his internal processing coolers go into overdrive to try and grasp, time paradoxes fortunate the android was as robustly made in the mind as he was otherwise he may be smelling something burning and tasting nickles at best and just be a fidgeting mess of conflicting processes at worse. “it would seem we have acquired most of what there is to acquire in this area, if any lead conspirators are in the area they seem to have ‘booked it’ perhaps back out of the time line’s current spot, unnatural forces seem to be abounded.” he said if Yan and he crossed paths in this time perhaps his voice would ring a bell. Would that be good? If this subject was a figure in the past who made it here, what would it do to the modern version of that being?
Juch came into being, Vlad was worried about the old unit and seemed in arguably worse shape than Vlad himself ended up being when he had to get the sun-stone shard slotted in his skull for power.
Vlad frowned but things needed to be tended too hopefully the tough wise droid was capable of being restored, but he felt well-being of allies and broader concerns the old one would say would be of higher importance.
“I am still in comparatively decent operational status and my student is too, we will go together, ahead of the group where you chose to go if there are no objections”
EP3 nodded taking it all in, a feeling of sorrow hit Vlad as he recognized something and something outside felt powerful and dangerous as sounds from near by were of conflict and disturbances of the outer atmosphere were far less than normal anomalies, many powers clashing ionically enriching the air far more than natural events on earth would. She would put her shield to use for her mentor, herself, and whoever would stand at her back, fear was challenge to be overcome feeling its sting and suffering in its venom did not make one weak for why would one immune to fear be called courageous?
“Ready to go when you all are!” EP3 exclaimed “come what may!” her mentor said exclaiming too, both slamming fists into where a heart would be had they been organic, each chest rang with a defiant clang to the gestures. Vlad however may have forgotten how hard his fists could hit and had to fight off an ‘oww’ to the salutes' aftermath as his chest rang with the blow.

Vlad & EP3 wait with the others for a game plan!

The impacts of all of the attacks didn't seem all that impressive, truly, but Nelgae understood well that this didn't mean that the deity wasn't hurt. As the insectoid narrowed his gaze, he saw that even the damage that he took healed: he had faced warriors like this before. It seemed like a slug out, until the other warrior simply dropped dead. One of those that held their ground until the damage finally struck their body. In this case, the god had a limited time until that shell would be forced to give up. He cracked his knuckle joints at the thought, before he was blinded by the sun god. Well, he was very annoyed at that, though he well understood what the technique was.
"Gah!" Nelgae howled in rage, as he swatted at the air in front of his eyes for a moment before he thrust his long arms forward and caught the blow, no, glanced the strike with his swats, and was blown back by the impact of it. He flew backwards as the explosion that followed it flung him all the further. In his anger, the bug backflipped so that he could regain himself and slammed a claw against the ground before he drew himself back up. Now he was angry as the bug pulled his arms back towards his body and released his aura as the crimson flare gave away his anger.
He wasn't the only one surprised by the speed. Yua wasn't sure how the god would react, but the attacks that regenerated told her that what housed his power was itself mortal. That meant that when they destroyed the vessel, that there could be something worse, though she hoped that was not the case. The android's distance away didn't matter when the light flared out from the man, and that over-stimulated the visuals for her android processing. She flinched at the move, and then she was struck at.
The android was much like the sun god, in that she barely showed her damage. Since she was already in the air, she wasn't blown back like the former Arlian Champion. She gave into her defensive options as she used a bit of her plasma to coat her body in preparation for the follow up attack, as she braced her arms to protect her core. The blow slammed into that area, before it felt like she was thrown back even further and used her propulsion to fling her towards the ground so that she could right herself, as she crashed closer than where Nelgae had been pushed back, as she sputtered at the power, but responded with, "Just another monster," said in a growl.
He had returned to his position, however, as her eyes returned to use as she looked down at the deity. She pulled her arm back and thrust her palm forward before she released a stream of plasma missiles as they erupted from her palm in quick succession as she attacked in tandem with Riki, the plasma attacks meant to strike where Riki's ki didn't. There wasn't much plasma energy left in her systems at this point, but the android had another plan.
Lemon, being so far away, didn't exactly expect to get attacked from her far away position by a near instant physical attack. First, the blinding annoyance came at her, and the demoness grabbed at her face, as she was blinded by the attack and snarled as she kept her nails from doing further damage to her face. It would honestly have been worse to be struck by her nails, but such was her life. Why did she want to battle this thing again? Oh right, her Saiyan blood wanted her to fight against these sorts of odds. "Damn Saiyan blood," she grunted, as she barely made out a blurred sight of him. Or was that one of her fingers?
Unlike the bug, or the android, she applied a thin layer of shielding around herself that ate the concussive blow as soon as she had been blinded. It was an instinctive thing, as the cat like girl was very much aware of her weakness compared to her contemporaries. So she reacted to things very differently than those that could just eat the attacks and not flinch at them, or at least not show that it bothered them. That didn't mean that she wasn't annoyed by the strike, however. As Lemon's sight returned, she narrowed her gaze and pointed her arm at the godling yet again.
She charged this attack up, as she gripped her left wrist with her right arm, braced for support, and then unleashed the wave of energy with her eyes closed against dust as she aimed where the sun god was. This wasn't timed, but it did flare out energy towards the godling as she held on for dear life. The flare of ki grew from her palm, into a huge blast of energy that could have easily ripped a mountain apart. Hopefully her target was the only one engulfed in the attack as she pulled her arms down, eyes narrowed over as she panted.
Nelgae approached Yua then, as she growled, "Got any plans?"
To that, she nodded, as the android drew her hand up, and one of her nails seemed to have grown a bit longer than the others. "Just one. I need to jam this into his heart. Think you can cover for me?" She said this quietly, as she noted that the deity had a mortal body. Could it protect him from a heart virus? She guessed not. He'd never suspect that one could harm him. But he was also like a fire. He burned brightly, but would guzzle away at the fuel, and burn that out eventually. This was just to speed up the process.
With his ki renewed, the bug nodded his head. He pulled his arm up and growled, "Follow me." The bug then rushed forward. It was a mad plan, but not one that was so crass as to not have the god look at him, instead of the android. She rushed in behind him, just a step behind, but and hid her frame from the sight of the sun god. But it was better to pay attention to Nelgae as he did something reckless, a rarity for the former Arlian Champion. His fist charged with ki, before he unleashed an attack he hadn't yet.
He crouched, just slightly, before he lashed out with his most devastating attack, an almighty uppercut. It wasn't, of course, just an uppercut. The attack was wrapped in a sickly green aura that turned into a rather large dragon that burst from the attack .It wasn't some normal, typical dragon, either. This one was only familiar to the insectoid races, a dragon that resembled a dragonfly from Earth. Only on a much bigger scale, with a stinger at the end of it's tail that wrapped for the sun god's body before it unleashed that fury against him. "This better be worth the pain," he shouted at Yua as he felt the pain lance against his ecoskeleton as the bug pulled away from the attack, smoking at the very least, and hopefully not with any fire on him.
Yua used the opportunity to speedily leap over Nelgae as he attacked with his strike, before she did something as equally insane as the bug. Hell, the two of them might get killed for this. But she thought it was worth a shot as the android thrust her hand forward, between the coils of the bug dragon, with the elongated nail as she struck at where the deity's heart should be. Yua attacked with an injection that he probably thought should be insignificant: a heart virus deadly enough to kill even a power Saiyan. She hoped to inject that directly into his heart to quickly spread the sickness through his blood, and thus infect even the tattoos on his body.

Anna had paused for a moment, and did not follow Yan at first. She took time to soak in what was happening. The grand scale of everything was more so with that woman and before she would even know it -- the man in the room Yan went to. Gohan had given pause as well, likely soaking in his victory, one that was hard earned -- yet still earned all the same. She gave notice to Vlad and EP-3. It was almost hard to tell if this was the past or future Vlad at first.
Unlike her mother Aria, Anna didn’t have a heavy interaction history with him. She knew of EP-3 -- which she would know definitely that she was a future version. Regardless, her thoughts were drowning, in a productive way. Wriggle looked about, her eyes catching devious fire as she moved around soon after looking, munching grotesquely on their freshly deceased flesh. She needed to cool off how she felt because of that woman who infuriated her.
They had left far too fast for Wriggle to test the woman, and because of that she decided to move about and rummage through the bodies of the deceased. She took in careful note of how they died -- clean cuts which brought back a few memories. These were memories that were brought on from not just looking at the wounds, but there was a way that familiar aura’s altered perception.
She could feel the sweat returning as a familiar scene played back in her mind.
It was the same aura.
The same piercing stare she felt behind her, even though the man was in-front of her and in another room.
She could feel his stalking presence perceiving her when he wasn’t even paying attention to her.
Without realizing it, she was starting to breathe heavier and the arrogant bug queen could feel her bravado slipping through the cracks of her fingers. This was a nightmare when she first started off as a Grunt Class PTO member of the 123rd Squadron. During the height of the Galactic War between Empires and several other Galaxy Goverments, there were always nightmares and ghosts between each of them.
Wriggle and her crew ran into one of them and she could forget every detail of that war if she wanted to but she could never forget that voice… she could never forget those eyes…
As she inched into the room, Anna trailing behind her, Wriggle was able to confirm it.
“Cosmic…Emperor…” She doubted he would remember her; she was powerful now and she should not be afraid, but it wasn’t the fear of his power that he beat into her soul. It was the fear of his methodology. This would be a milestone for sure, if she could buckle down and face him. Was he coming at them as a threat? Wriggle was allowing her past to stew her fear, body sweating and trembling.
She hated it.
Anna didnt’ have such fears as she moved into that room and she saw Juch’s body. Dismantled. Anna looked to Yan, and she gave a small nod. He found what he was looking for -- who he was looking for. And in the process was another one, at-least Anna thought him to be another one of the time anomalies just like she was. She looked to Wriggle to process how she was reacting.
“I guess you know this man, come on. Don’t let whatever he did before affect you,” she said while getting in-front of the frozen in place Wriggle. Gohan asked what she wanted to, and she allowed that to stew to see if there was going to be any kind of answer. Regardless, Anna’s eyes flickered much like how androids would when they were running processes and a small wave of nanobots infected the room.
Anna didnt’ think it was much point in it, but seeing as some of the feeds that still worked showed the city, then she could do two things useful to her and the success of the time patrol itself.
One, she could hack the system and download the data from the camera feeds so she can have that to review and see what these time hooligans used to even get to this time period.
Two, could she tether a nanobot to this warrior like a tracking beacon? It was a gamble, but why not?
WORDS 729 / 8,680 1/2. Use Nanobots [Technology Search for Camera Data] 3/4. Attempt to plant a nanobot tracking beacon on red eyed warrior.

This wasn't her fight. It wasn't her timeline and it wasn't her fight. Why was she here? The Supreme Kai of Time had be charismatic to be sure but why was she really here? She had no dog in this fight and all that it had served to do was illustrate a glaring weakness either within her species or within her specifically. Such a bad decision it was to come here. She had made some new friends, but at what cost? If she died here, what good would it do? It was all just so wrong. As the sun god exploded with illuminating energy, Cauli was almost so distracted by the raging torrent in her head that she was unaffected by it. In truth, the stunning force behind it paled in comparison to the pain in her head. But even that was subsiding, as though the barrier was gone now. Where once there was noise, now there was silence. She tried to looked around and found herself unable to see - in her rush to get here, she had left her sunglasses at home.
It was then that the energy from the enemy flared and became everywhere at once. Cauli knew what that meant now and once again sought the mole people for protection from the raging storm. Using the powers of her mind, freed as it had somewhat been by the disappearance of the sun god's barrier, she ripped whole pieces of the ground from beneath her and placed them above, digging a hole so as to prevent the storm from overwhelming her again. It wasn't until a fist broke through that last barrier that she realised her error. This wasn't the storm again, the sun god was just moving so fast that it seemed that way. Cauli tried to block with her arms but most of the success came from the sheer weight of detritus that the sun god had been forced to punch through to reach her.
She exploded out of the hole, determined to at least take a decent swipe at the sun god before it destroyed her. She held the hex blade flat on her palm. It began to spin like the needle of a compass that was being held too close to a piece of metal. Faster and faster it spun, until the centrifugal force stretched the blade and then faster still so that all that could be perceived of the spinning blade was a disk of impossibly black energy. It was this energy that she threw at her foe, buzzing dangerously as it sliced through the air between them to try and cut him in half at the waist. He was MUCH faster than she, but he was also fighting about a dozen people at once. Most seemed a lot worse for wear as she did but surely they would be enough of a distraction that the blade would be able to find its mark.

As Wriggle munched on the bodies she’d realize that they weren’t actually all Saiyans. Most of them were Saiyans, and there were a lot of hybrids in the mix, and some weren’t Saiyan at all. She did not find any digestible materials however, as the dice did not seem to be in her favor.
Both Gohans bypassed the first set of rooms, sliding through the shattered space in the stasis field generated barrier. It had remained standing due to Yan’s pinpointed attack, but the slices the monkey made created a very wide and easy to get through doorway. One continued to follow Yan, with Vlad close behind, while the other veered off course, inspecting what was left of the most guarded area of this base.
What he found was surprising. Rather then find clues of some evil organization who were trying to destroy reality as we all knew it, he found traces of what seemed like normal people with normal lives. He was able to access some of the data files and it mostly depicted research on the atrocities of the Saiyan Empire. If the teenager had hoped his father’s people were kinder in the reality he had been thrown in, that illusion was erased immediately. They were ruthless killers, conquerors, and tyrants.
Everything he found seemed to suggest the people in this base, the potential cultists, were actually trying to destabilize those villains, to find some weapon against the evils of King Vegeta. Remembering the Vegeta he first met on Earth, he could probably imagine the greater evils that man’s father could and would have accomplished if he had never been overpowered by Frieza--no, if he amassed the same devastating power as Frieza.
It was a far cry to say these were the good guys, since it did seem like they were the ones who made this barrier, but on paper they seemed like freedom fighters, desperate to save their people and the hybrids of their race that were treated so horribly in prejudice.
The warrior in black looked at the new arrivals. There was a boy who looked like a man he killed once before, as well as Vlad who had made his name across the galaxy in most timelines as an unwavering and resolute presence, just as he was being now. The most powerful of the group he did not recognize, but the bug girl seemed to recognize him. He knew it before she spoke, and his crimson eyes fixed on her. She didn’t grace his memory, which did not mean he had never killed her, or her friends in his own timeline. It simply meant if he had, she was not worth mentioning, let alone remembering.
”Does the Cosmic Empire still exist in your timeline?” he asked her with a layer of something like sadness, but if it was, it was doused heavily in spite. It was a title this warrior had long lost. While he once ruled over an empire of people, traveling the galaxy through multiple planets worth of ships, making such a name for himself, allying with men that carried that name with terror, that was a long time ago for this Time Traveler, and it seemed that the fate of his empire was similar across many timelines, because the Chaos Wriggle’s timeline knew had given up on his empire, isolating himself to reflect on his losses and mistakes. At least, for now.
But the boy asked the important questions Yan already admitted to not caring about, and the warrior looked at Gohan as if judging his worth. Unfortunately for the boy, this judgment did not come up in his favor.
At Anna’s attempt, the spheres of energy that rested between them suddenly expanded, one of which moved in the way of her bugs, disintegrating them without even needing to detonate. The Cosmic Warrior in Black looked to it, then to Anna.
”I suppose not,” he said to answer his own question, judging the empire’s from Anna’s impertinence in both trying to alleviate the fear in her companion and trying to place a bug on him. At the height of his empire, everyone knew such actions would result in death, which for a moment seemed to be his plan. With speed far beyond the Chaos of their timeline, the black blade flashed and almost instantly it was above her, the man into her guard immediately like a sneak attack SA, but he stopped in midswing, his glare seeming to penetrate her body where the blade had not.
”Times up,” he said simply, stepping back as the fabric of reality seemed to unfurl around them. The room was tinted with a red hue and sets of thick chains ripped from the tears he created in reality, aiming to wrap around their arms and legs. They gave off a ghastly glow, made of nothing from this reality, made to force even deities into submission, and vanishing only as they wrapped around their target and pinning them down.
His goal was either to trap them there as the clock really did wind down, or to simply keep them from following him. The reality warp behind him formed a portal, one Anna and Yan understood well. The emperor had always tinkered with dimensional science, but this was beyond his previous skills, shifting time itself.
”The final curtain has fallen. Failure or success, I’ve done my part,” he said, turning his back on them. ”I wish you luck, but perhaps you won't need it.”
And with that, he simply moved to leave. If any of them could break the stun early, they might be able to stop him, but without such an ability, they'd simply be too late.

Lightning crashed down on the sun god, ignoring the adage of striking twice in the wake of Riki’s power, followed in time with missiles that peppered his mortal frame to almost no effect. It wasn’t until Riki’s second attack did the being finally show signs of wear and tear. The five wires left definite slices, but rather than pierce the skin and show blood, they seemed to release red and purple flames, as if the body itself was made of fire instead of blood.
Now, that wasn’t good.
The god marveled at this new feature, though he did not look surprised to find himself injured. He wasn’t at his full power yet, and this body had not completely settled to his spirit. It was still mortal, and could still be destroyed. Perhaps he should have been more careful with it, but like a toddler with a new toy he couldn’t help but want to drag it around recklessly, never imagining it might break.
Well, he did. He wasn’t actually a toddler, and it was well within his imaginings, but unlike the toddler who would cry and tantrum when the toy broke, he didn’t really care. He was a being beyond such mortal qualms, and fear of this host’s death did not preoccupy his thoughts. He was not concerned to be sent back from where he came as time held no meaning for him. If that happened then he knew he would be summoned again, so was the fallacy of the Saiyan race, desperate for power. If this attempt failed, he would merely go back to slumber.
That did not mean he planned to make such things easy for them however. For now, he was enjoying his play time with this toy.
Towa attempted to use time magic on him again and his smile grew. ”No,” he said simply, and the construct fell apart like rain falling on everyone but him. ”No,” he repeated again as Shell’s lightning threatened to engulf him, lifting his hands out in front of him as the concentrated storm grew in intensity. The power of this technique was slightly too strong to be pushed off automatically, but slightly meant he just had to put in slightly more effort.
Normally, such a strategy would only have bitten Shell, but the Namekian unloaded so many bolts that when they bounced off the god’s concentrated power they went in all directions, covering the entire battlefield in an electrical storm. Shell pushed on, delivering another round, and the god’s smile grew as the storm intensified again, and the electrical storm continued, targeting Shell and all his allies as the god let out a chuckle.
The Namekian tried one more attack, but his limits were reached, and this one did not go off at all.
But there was that cockiness again. The god was asking for trouble, and the scientist and her creation sought to deliver it. Mira struck out his fist as Shell’s attacks fizzled out, unleashing a crushing blast that slammed into the once Saiyan prince. It was not powerful enough to make the creature step back but the end result did as Riki’s attack did, causing thin streaks of red flames to burn from the monster’s body. Despite this, he did nothing against Towa’s next strike, and the cracks in his body increased.
Then Shell spoke, and this received a barkling laugh from the god, his aura expanding outwards again in a new show of power as Ghast reigned another vicious assault on him, adding to the flames on his body, but not downing him. His dark hair seemed to glow at its roots, while his shoulders burned a soft glow.
”Mm, that’s right. You mortals care deeply about being remembered. You also think Destiny can play its function on Gods.”
To break up his musing came Nelgae and Yua, and the demon god had to admit that he did not expect the giant bug to attack from low, let alone unleash a dragon against the fiery tornado of the god’s aura. He wasn’t expecting anyone but that stupid cow to go ramming into that destructive energy, so the bug’s attack admittedly caught him off guard. Still, the punch was like a human hitting steel, his fist seeming to burn and crumble under the impact and his own power bouncing back at him, but the energy in the dragon did push the Sun God into the air where Yua was there to meet his rise.
Well. This was unexpected. His body seemed to seize up under a sudden weight, as if the crushing attacks had bore fruit after all. He felt himself weaken, and by instinct he devoured more of the barrier, its spherical body shrinking in even further, pushing the poor humans deeper into the storm and closer to the battlefield as the onlookers from outside continued to try and find a way to penetrate it.
At this point, Cauli attacked with a vicious disk of sharpness that could cut even his body. He moved in the air with an easy show of ki, but the virus stunned him enough that he was not quite fast enough, and the blade sliced right through his arm.
Funny, as this all started with that arm. They had used it to fully infect the Prince’s body, and now it was torn from him once more. By now, it didn’t matter, the rest of the body was his, but losing an arm was still…unfortunate.
Just as the wounds had before, red and purple flames ripped out of the severed arm, forming a new arm of pure energy that was still a moving and destructive flame. The god looked less like the Saiyan prince now and more like a monster. His head possessed a flaming crown that rose like horns from his brow. His shoulder burned like a running furnace, sparking upwards every so often as if doused in gasoline. Bright hot flames covered his body like bandages, but rather than make him seem damaged it made him look all the more powerful.
It was the arm that was the most troubling though. Those fires expanded, becoming not just an arm and a hand but something even more destructive. It was as if it was made of hell fire, devastating to any touch and it kept growing into a curved almost blade. He was still in the air from where Nelgae had thrown him, and now that arm grew into a massive width and length. When he landed the entire appendage swept across the battlefield. Its height was taller than a normal sized man and the strike was all encompassing. It slide through the air with a cutting sound loud enough to deafen its targets, only to turn into a devastating roar as the ground was torn apart under just the breeze it created beneath it. Just as Cauli stole his arm, this strike would have been meant to slice them all in half but, well, it was too massive for that, and instead would easily have engulfed them instead.
Once it crossed the entire battlefield, he swung it again. The air in the barrier seemed to become stifling with the heat of it, suffocating as the energy was released like choking smoke. This strike moved in a wave it it had to, full of precision and meant to cut through them all like they were simply very slow moving bugs he had decided to exterminate.
"Burn up and die," he said with more mirth than anyone should have when trying to kill everything in its path.
His power was growing, or maybe it was waning. One thing was for sure, he was diving into one final crescendo. The barrier had shrunk, but seemed to be burning now, unleashing that hell fire outside of the city, giving those trying to break in their own issues to deal with. Beerus definitely wouldn't be happy, but this was before the restoration of his power, and he was going to be really angry about that if things didn't go right with the warriors inside it. The destruction energy was building, something older than that really, and it would feel just as planets often felt to him right before they were ultimately destroyed by his hand. This was bigger though. This might be more than the planet.

Riki was glad to see her lightning bolts accented by Yua’s attack, though it was admittedly hard to focus. She couldn’t tell who’s attack it was, and almost thought her own had had an unfamiliar effect, but she reminded her weary mind she was in a group battle. She wasn’t alone here, though her sense of the environment would argue that.
Her ears were still ringing, and as she looked up to the creature she felt like she was underwater. His vision was hazy and wobbly, and her whole body was stinging mimicking that feeling of opening your eyes. Had she gone swimming?
No. She was fighting. She was fighting.
Unleashing her next attack brought her more to her senses, especially as she felt the wires grow even more taut with a successful contact. When she pulled them back so they snapped and disintegrated, she could see her claw marks in the monster like a monster had struck him. How he stayed standing was abnormal, but his flesh didn’t fall apart. It went up in beautiful flames.
She was mesmerized by them for a moment, watching the dancing red and purple colors rise and fall from his wound when her attention was snapped back from Shell’s attack. She had thought about using a similar one herself, but changed her mind last minute, afraid of the Sun God’s barrier managing to bounce it back. It seemed her fear was justified because while it didn’t automatically bounce off, the man only needed to concentrate to send bolts of electricity everywhere.
No. She wouldn’t allow that.
Riki and the Sun God seemed to be of the same mind, denying the inevitable, but taking stock in that one moment. Lifting her hand into the air, it began to glow a very soft glow, and then, like a lightning rod, all the the bolts of electricity swam towards her. That’s how it looked to her. The electrical storm swarmed her but the super fast moving bolts went slower in her fading perception. But she called them all to her. Every single bolt was drawn into her finger tips, getting absorbed into her already electric aura.
There. Crisis averted.
Except it wasn’t. Shell didn’t know when to let up, and kept unleashing a fury of bolts. Riki couldn’t do what she just did twice. Essentially, they were pretty screwed. Well, she was at least.
Hertz buckled down, opening his mouth and letting out a large burp which was enough to dissipate the uncharged bolts of lightning, then he scratched his backside as if he hadn’t recognized the danger to begin with.
Flaring her aura, Riki pushed out the electricity inside it. While others created a flame shield, she had created a lightning shield, flames so hot they sparked, and now she used that to her advantage. Traditionally, it wouldn’t work, but lighting hitting lightning seemed appropriate and she pushed out her own electrical power to fight off the storm of bolts rushing towards her.
Her arms crossed over her body, guarding the worst of her injuries. Burns mostly. Pieces of her flesh were hanging off her body. White bone could be seen in areas and her skin was ragged. She could only protect the things that would keep her alive, and hope that her lightning shield did enough to keep her standing.
Why? Because she wanted that energy. The lightning that hit her, dulled as it hopefully was, absorbed into her chaos. As the monster swung his massive limb, that energy too would be absorbed. She looked up to it from her bent over figure and knew she could not avoid it and also do what she needed to do. She wanted that energy, and to get it, she would not survive no matter how crafty she was. She was just too injured at this point, her previous choices not to heal or block coming back on her, but that was okay.
No, maybe that was better, because as the scythe crashed into her, she hit her breaking point. A normal person would have been done, broken, and fallen, but Riki was a monster in her own right. While her body should not have been able to move at all, with so many burns her skin looked white, she floated, empowered by her energy alone.
Hertz meanwhile looked at the oncoming slice with discontent. How to avoid this? Well, he immediately dove into the ruined earth, pushing the rocks on top of him to try and avoid the massive strike, but it hit him and he went flying with it, the shield he used earlier providing some protection even as it shattered almost instantly on impact.
”WHOOOOOHOOOOOO,” he let out, jumping in the air this time as the swing came, trying to ride it like a wave all the way across its path. He felt his metal plating melting off his body, some of it being thrown off like shingles on a roof in a dangerous storm, but he didn’t care. He didn’t really have pain sensors like most more advanced androids, and instead he just felt the rush of the ride, and he enjoyed every bit of it.
Riki was dying. She could feel it. Maybe she was already dead, fueling her body by spirit alone. She didn’t know. All she knew was that whatever was left of her was pure destructive power ready to explode and she had her target in mind.
Shooting forward her entire body seemed to blur into a beam of light that pierced the Sun God. Her entire body was simply a conduit of power, and she slammed it into that creature with everything she had, pouring chaotic energy onto him as the full weight of her strength, speed, and destructive power plowed into him like a damn frieght train.
But she wasn’t done. No. Her third no, one more than the Sun God. If she was going to fall here, she was going to end it here, and if she couldn’t completely wipe this creature out maybe, maybe she’d do enough that the others could finish it, but if she couldn’t win she wanted to at least set his whole body aflame. She wanted to turn him into the fire he bled. She wanted his body to burn like hers did.
Standing by power alone, she pulled her fist back right in front of the monster and once more it moved like a beam, so fast it left behind a tail of devastating energy and as she swung it hard into the god’s body, all of her power left her. It poured out of her body, through that fist, and into the Sun God right where Yua had stabbed him with the Heart Virus. Every bit of her devastating power level, every bit of her remaining chaotic energy, every bit of her very soul poured out and exploded into the once man, engulfing him in everything she had left, and despite everything, that was a god damn lot.
While Riki inflicted as much damage as she could, Hertz arms were pulled back gathering power. His eyes had turned red again, along with his whole aura making him see like a much larger android, a hulking mass of power. Looking at it, one had to drag their eyes down, down, down to finally find his body, his aura making him look like the Hulk in size and bulk.
It shrunk rapidly however as Riki finished, and he shot his arms forward. The entire mass of hulk sized power poured out of them into a beam that cut through the air like the particles in it could be destroyed. He aimed to crash into the monster with even more destruction, even more damage, as much as humanly possible, for Riki.
The creature hadn’t dodged once, which Hertz might have realized at this point, dealing an attack that also had delayed damage. He pushed it out, hoping to move the flaming monster, or simply to completely engulf whatever was left.
Well, as he let go of his beam he stopped and looked up. Why was he hoping this again? Why was he in this fight. It was all he had left, and he plopped down on his butt next to his now dead cow when he was finished, his eyes turning blue again.
”Poor cow,” he said, then looked around. There were a whole bunch of fighters here including his bug friend, but no sign of Anna. ”Where’s the princess?” For some reason he expected her to come charging into this battle as she had all the other ones, but it seemed Anna had better things to do. Hertz would need to find her, assuming they didn’t all die here.
Looking back to the monster Sun God, he kind of expected one earth defying push of energy to completely evaporate them, or send them sailing back to their own timelines. He didn’t have enough energy left to really run from that, so he would simply have to hope it sent him to Anna!

One of the bug's hands were made more or less useless from the attack, but what was more interesting to him was the effects that all of their attacks had had on the sun god. It's timeline for life worked along the time track as his own. The Klaxxi could live forever, their cell division made to be that way, unlike the short lived mortals. But that would hardly be great if the deity lived, now would it? And if this thing lived in their universe as well... well, he would just have to hunt it down and kill it. But with more pressing matters at hand, he turned his face and noted the lightning.
"Fuck," was the only word that slipped the Klaxxi's vocals, before the powerful brown haired girl blocked the first reflected lightning. Or absorbed it? He was interested in the device, but it was hardly going to end well for them all. These attacks lanced back because of that damn slug! Not that all of them could have just avoided this level of attack if the Namekian had turned into their enemy. The insectoid had to deal with the second blast reflected, but that was fine. He used one of his items on him, hard to see, but it would help him defend this attack. The gauntlets on his hand flared to life as the ant used it to absorb and discharge the energy of the attack as he smashed the localized lightning near him.
When he was able to pause, he noted the same thing as his android compatriot. She had dealt with the lightning differently. The android knew that such an attack was devastation to all of the warriors around them, so she ground her teeth before she came to her choice. She hardly ever used this method, but there was no time better than the present, no? Yua quickly brought her hands to her gauntlets and they melted back from her palms. There, within the middle of her palms, were twin crimson beads, technology stolen and now to use here.
The second reflected lightning storm roared back out, and she thrust both hands forward as she snarled, as she pulled in the lightning into those beads, at least those localized near herself. They drew in the ki created lightning like rods as Yua drew them in so that she could continue on with her plan. Riki, on the other hand, did not end this whole thing with that. She had moved quickly, and ended up taking a lot more damage than Yua had known. She was on her last legs, and she moved like something possessed to her eyes.
Would it be enough for her to use the lightning? Likely not easily, as General Shell was a lot more powerful than her. Yua landed with an almost dull thud from her position in the air, and then she looked up to see what was coming next, and it didn't seem great. The sun god was like child playing with a toy, and that shell of of body was practically proven as a mere shell. His arm was sliced off, but that wasn't the end of the limb, as flame replaced the lost skin and bone. "Oh come on, now he's part Human Torch?"
Yua was near the Klaxxi, and they both witnessed the transformation of the arm. Oh, so it wasn't just the Human Torch. Not that that ended up being much better as they both sensed out that this was not just some scythe arm intended to intimidate. This was a technique, and the god didn't waste time as he swung the full force of the blade across the entire battlefield. The speed was something else, as Yua calmed herself to a scene of serenity before she jumped up and accelerated over the attack as she grunted with the effort, as the Klaxxi used his tough carapace and his armor as he thrust his right arms forward as he accessed the magic within the full set of armor that he wore to severely reduce the damage of the first swing, as he thrust his body in a defensive maneuver against the blow.
The second swing of the blade sailed back almost immediately. But it would do nothing to the Klaxxi as he brought up his left arm to smash the piece of the blade that swung at him, and ripped through it as he grunted, "Using the same trick twice?" That was a move that, even if used multiple times, wasn't going to kill him. And this gave him the opportunity to attack back. But this would prove to be the next attack as he noted that the body burned. Either his power had grown, or that shell was about to burn out. He needed to gamble, as this time, he was not in that aura of his!
The Klaxxi watched Yua as she preformed her next maneuver, this time she quickly drew her sword into her left hand as the android swung the blade against the scythe that swung at her. Much like him, she also nullified the damage down to zero as she grunted with the effort of it, but took the damage away from herself. It was time for another doubled up attack pattern! Yua drew her other sword then, as the two advanced towards the sun god as they decided to finish this, once and for all. Nelgae screeched out as his aura flared into dark crimson fire as he attacked, though first waited for Riki's initial attack, the headlong dive, before he crouched and rushed in, his clawed hands and feet pummeled forwards as he sought to dig his claws from the front, as Riki pulled her fist back around.
"Nope," he sharply stated and jumped away as he used the Sun God's body as Yua dodged away from the draconic punch that Riki delivered, a different flavor of the same class of beasts. She narrowed her eyes before the android saw her chance. As Riki sent that final attack, at the very tail end, Yua arrived as she glared down at the god of the sun.
"Die." Emotions tumbled in that one word: venom, hate, and mostly rage. The sword in her right arm swung so fast and strong as the blade ignited into azure flame as she struck at all seven main humanoid vitals, it all seemed to strike at once. Yua poured all of her monstrous strength into those swings, devastation against a mountain was garneted at the very least at the lower end of it all.
She wasn't done, however, as she rose her other hand up and jumped away as Hertz flung his attack against the Sun God, a crimson Kamehameha attack that rushed at the Sun God. He didn't dodge. He never dodged. And then Nelgae rushed back in, cunning in his idea as the bug snatched onto the back of the shell that held the deity, pulled hard as he held onto the body in a full nelson. "Better do it now, android," he growled, as the bug pulled on the shoulders hard, likely as he burned from the flame arm.
Yua pulled power into her left arm as she dropped the sword towards the ground, as the plasma bloomed to life in her palm, before she released devastation as the beam fired out in a large beam. Not exactly what Nelgae thought, and he quickly pulled away and attempted to rush towards Hertz, as he knew that Queen Wriggle and Anna stayed together. If he got away with just burns and a lost limb or two, he could grow them back. Probably. He'd need one of those tanks, first, he thought. Or a few shedding sessions. But this was their last chance. He just hoped that the attacks would kill this thing.
Still in the background of it all, Lemon huffed, the first lightning dealt with as it rushed at her with extreme prejudice, before Riki dealt with the damage that might have come her way. The demoness was already on her way, though, as the second storm was generated and thrown back at them yet again. "For fucks sake," the girl grumbled before she slashed her arm out. Black and crimson energy formed around her arm as she slashed at all of the lightning that came her way, before she saw the god reformed an arm after he lost it. "Cheater. Teach me that one, too," she snapped.
But she would not be denied her prize. The girl pushed onwards, as she noted all the power being flung around. It was nuts, she never expected them all to be this strong. The warriors were all way stronger than she had thought, had ever noticed. The galaxy held more power than she had been led to believe. She would need to - wait, was that a scythe arm? "Cool," she mused.
Then he swung it.
"Oh, not cool! Hot, hot!"
Lemon ducked as low as possible, that is, the demoness dropped prone on the ground to try her luck at a dodge. Unlike some of the others, she had to block the second swing as she pushed herself up and into the air as she gulped down her fear. It hadn't done her much good anyway as she formed a barrier of demonic energy into her left arm, braced it with her right arm, and push against the scythe blade. It still hurt like hell, and as she screamed in pain, the demoness turned that pain into power as she jacket she wore blew in the wind. She turned that pain and damage against her into power as she drew her right hand forward. "Payback time."
She waited, patiently she waited. The girl baited out her timing, as she knew that timing was everything. She wanted to hurt his pride, to make the god see that she was not to be trifled with. She waited for all the attacks of Riki, Hertz, Nelgae, and Yua to conclude, before Lemon poured her ki from her body, as she glared. "Gravity." All of her emotions were thrown into that word, into that power that she leveled at the god's body. She wanted him to stumbled, to fall to his knees. Even if she only had one arm, or both arms, she shoved downwards hard. Hard enough to shatter the pulverized earth beneath the god and his stupid chair.
Yua had kept her distance, but even then, she stumbled away from that gravity well, as she looked back at the demoness. She was probably extremely angry about Riki, as her friend was on the ground. But if she lost control, then what would they do? But that seemed to be all that the demoness could do, as Yua jumped to catch Lemon. Power ands emotionally drained, Lemon glared hatefully at the Sun God.
